♫ OPENING ♫
Passwords: Kazu's Kidnapper, Miraculous Kouhai
Discord: Ilaste
Class/Rank: Class 1/Rank 4
Position/Affiliation: Mercenary
Type: Fighter, Version 2♫ BASIC INFORMATION ♫
Name: PraxisCamila Adaronde & Albin Landry
Real Age/Age of Appearance: 0/21
Birthday: April 3rd
Blood Type: B-♫ APPEARANCE ♫
Height: 5'11"/180 cm.
Weight: 140 lbs./63.5 kg.
Eye Color: Green
Hair Color: Black
Physical Appearance:
An individual that has been around in a sense for quite some time, Praxis stands at five-foot eleven, and weighs in at one-hundred and forty pounds even. Their frame remains quite average to an extent, appearing without any real defining features for the most part. Drawing on traits from the two beings that make up their body, mind, and soul, Praxis bears an almost uncanny resemblance to both a Miss Camila Adaronde, and Mister Albin Landry.
Beginning with their face, Praxis' bears a sort of childlike innocence to their general complexion and quality of their skin, while utilizing expressions that almost say "I have seen everything". While they look to be in their early twenties, shown by the wrinkle-free face, doe-like eyes, and somewhat small, almost petit nose, one can't help but sense a level of maturity from them just from this alone. As though their soul has been through hell and back, both literally and figuratively.
Their hair is jet-black in color, almost identical to the Vizard's own. Kept cut short, and relatively messy, small tints of gray and green shine through here and there, though naturally colored. They don't dye their hair, nor do they wish to do so. Wavy curls is the name of the game, with portions of their hair coming to a slight bob toward their shoulders. Atop their head is an ahoge, a small tuft of hair that doesn't seem to cooperate no matter how much effort is put into keeping it down.
Working our way down, their shoulders are rather compressed against their body, painting an image of a small frame; one that isn't normally associated with a physical fighter, despite that being one of Praxis' own hallmarks. Their chest is perpetually puffed, though by no intention of their own, almost displaying a level of androgyny to their build. Given their form, it can be quite difficult for someone to get much of a read on them in this regard.
Continuing down, they remain rather well-toned, lacking distinct muscular definition but having seemingly no body fat. Their legs aren't particularly well-defined as well, with no clear muscle their either. Their thighs aren't exactly skinny however, but aren't exactly conventionally appealing either; the definition of "average" to most in that regard.
Continuing with this pattern, nothing distinct stands out the further down we go, appearing about as stock-standard as one would expect of a human being in their early twenties. Unlike Camila or Albin, not a single scar or blemish decorates their body, showing quite easily no combative experience.
When it comes to something like clothing choices, Praxis can almost exclusively be seen in comfier options. Ranging from a simple pair of jeans and a sweater, to tee shirts, even suits on occasion, they have no problem dressing how they want. They don't paint an illusion of affiliation with any particular faction or organization, but rather desire to simply display how they want. Both traditionally masculine and feminine clothing are in this Vizard's wardrobe.
Regardless of their clothing choice however, they will always have both their Zanpakutō on them where possible. Usually holstered on their left hip, these twin blades protrude fairly far back, as they're by no means small swords. Fit for someone capable of wielding heavier weaponry, Praxis makes no effort to hide these unless necessary. Seeing as they're a resident in Japan, this is usually the case when out in public for a day or so.{Faceclaim - Ainchase Ishmael: Opferung}♫ PERSONALITY ♫
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Likes:
♫ Music - A shared like between Camila and Albin, music similarly plays a big part in Praxis' own life. They tend to be listening to music wherever possible, enjoying quite a variety of different genre. They tend to appreciate the heavier stuff, taking from the sum of their parts, but are more than willing to listen to anything they can get their hands on.
♫ Reading - Reading actually serves as one of Praxis' favorite pastimes! While they don't have the opportunity to spend a substantial amount of time actively reading, they're certainly not opposed to cracking open a good book every so often when looking to relax.
♫ Clothing - When given the opportunity, Praxis enjoys to get dressed up. Doesn't have to be anything inherently fancy or anything like that, but they still very much enjoy taking an opportunity to make themself look nice where given the chance. Don't be mistaken however; they do this for themselves.
♫ Albin - The once-inner-hollow, now serving as a Zanpakutō Spirit of sorts. Having had his place taken over by Miss Adaronde, Albin has grown quite a bit more enjoyable to be around. At least, in Praxis' case. The two get along somewhat well all things considered.
♫ Video Games - Another enjoyment of theirs that comes from Camila. While not particularly skilled at most games, Praxis does hold an incredibly surprising amount of talent when it comes to fighting games; particularly, those in the Justice Cog franchise. Their main is Biscuit, a girl with a halo around her waist, wielding a set of small flails.
♫ Quiet Time - Something that Praxis enjoys thoroughly. Given they've the option to bask in silence basically whenever by just heading to their Inner World, it's something they take advantage of quite frequently. Especially when looking to read or something similar.
♫ Anime - Taking after Camila, Praxis is a serious otaku. They've seen every series that’s been streamlined, as well as some that aren’t as well known. For those interested, Camila's first anime was Rosario + Vampire, and it continues to be Praxis' favorite, despite it only existing for fanservice purposes.
♫ The Human World - Gas Station Slushies.
♫ Shio Kyrou - Nakabakki-Hollow Extraordinaire, and their loving girlfriend. Someone Camila was attached to, Albin was attached to, and Praxis is doubly attached to because of it. Genuinely their favorite person of all-time, no questions asked.
Dislikes:
♫ Taking Orders - As someone that truly emphasizes the aspect of freedom in their own life, Praxis despises taking orders from anyone. They can't stand someone feeling the need to take charge of them like that, and frankly won't let it happen if they can help it.
♫ Soul Society - Though not quite to the same extent as their predecessor, Praxis doesn't like the concept of Soul Society existing as a whole. They'd rather see a band of individuals like Uzaki Enterprises maintaining the Soul Cycle, and will do what they can in order to uphold it, Seireitei be damned.
♫ Pacifism - While not one to actively seek out a fight, Praxis doesn't enjoy it when people stay their blades just for the sake of upholding some sort of moral code like that. They do very much enjoy fighting, and won't try to hide that fact. Someone that denies them a fight is just the worst!
♫ Overly Kind Individuals - When people lay on the niceties like that, they can't help but feel like that person is being ingenuine. People don't tend to be incredibly kind unless they either want something, or are looking to manipulate or engineer a situation to suit them.
♫ Most Shinigami - This one isn't a strong dislike for individuals, more so what they stand for. As previously mentioned, Praxis dislikes the system. They tend to dislike Shinigami for the same reason, due to their unwilling nature to fight back against such a system. That isn't to say they won't get along with them however; quite the opposite! They just won't overlook this fact.
♫ The Vandenreich - It's not hard to say
♫ Quincy - Not only do the Vandenreich hold a rather heavy place in Camila's heart for massacring her family all those years ago, but every experience she's had with a Quincy after that point has been nothing but literal hell. She'd sooner exterminate them to the best of her ability than willingly get along with them where possible.
♫ Kidō - Something they've never quite been able to pick up, in really any iteration of their being. As such, while not something they look down on others for, it's something they feel upset that they can't pick up themselves. It's unfortunate, really.
♫ Internal Conflict - To anyone that knew both of them, it should come as no surprise that Camila and Albin are perpetually locked in a state of internal conflict. Praxis will do what they can to avoid sitting in on these situations if they can help it.
♫ A Lack of Memory - Since the fusion of spirit, Praxis has found themselves missing a lot of the memories they should otherwise have of previous interaction. Given neither Camila nor Albin are willing to share on a lot of things, they're left formulating their own opinions and such because of it, which they're not the most fond of.
Habits:
♫ Smiling - They find themselves doing it constantly; it's a valuable tool, after all. It inspires friends, keeps enemies guessing, and ensures that no matter what comes their way, they're the one in control. That, and they're never fully dressed without one!
♫ Sighing - Almost a sign of relaxation from them, Praxis tends to do so quite often in most situations. Whether in what would normally be intense combative scenarios, relaxed situations, and really anything in between.
♫ Hollow Mask Over-Usage - Given the ability and raw combative power it gives them, Praxis tends to make quite frequent use of it when pushed to. While it's certainly a trump card of sorts, it's also well-known they possess it. Resurrección on the other hand? A well-kept secret.
♫ Games - Praxis easily finds themselves sucked into games more often than they'd like to admit. While they can't quite put their finger on it, something draws them toward a number of games. As previously mentioned, Justice Cog is a big one for them.
♫ Speaking Quietly - Contrary to how Camila and Albin both were, Praxis usually speaks with a fairly soft tone more often than not. They don't like getting loud unless absolutely necessary, and usually won't even do so when they're pressed to.
Flaws:
♫ Memory - It should come as no surprise that Praxis is effectively starting fresh in terms of knowledge on most everything. Everything is new to them; as such, there's a lot to learn on practically everything. Naturally, this can lead to quite a number of problems.
♫ Self-Destructive Tendencies - While not in the traditional sense, Praxis tends to put themselves before those around them in a bit of a reckless fashion. Given their release is surprisingly defensive, and significantly crowd-oriented, it should come as no surprise that they tend to be a little impulsive in that fashion.
♫ Violent Inhibitions - While not the most common trait of Praxis', they do tend to have violent or combat-hungry streaks from time to time. Generally, this occurs while under the influence of their Hollow reiatsu, but may rarely occur in other instances as well.
♫ Low Self-Esteem - They struggle quite significantly with self-esteem issues. Given their existence as a whole, it leads them to question quite a bit about themselves, their upbringing into the world, and their place amongst the other residents of the Three Worlds.
♫ Apathetic - Praxis doesn't tend to show much emotion where unnecessary. They're very monotonous in most circumstances, aside from specific scenarios. There are naturally exceptions to this, but it's not the most common thing out there. Generally, this comes into play when those they care for are being harmed.
Fears:
♫ Aimless Wandering - Last thing Praxis wants is to not have any reason to exist. They already struggle with the thought of this as previously mentioned, so to be reduced to just purposeless wandering is a horrifying concept to them.
♫ Beaches - Too much sand.
♫ Death - Usually nobody wants to die. Praxis isn't an exception. Given their limited time of existence, this strikes ever harder than Camila's and Albin's fear of such. They'll do everything they can to prevent it where possible.
♫ Hell - Having known what happens to those that sin, Praxis doesn't wish to go down the same path that Camila had in life. They don't wish to be condemned and cast into Hell under any circumstance.
Goals:
♫ To Find Purpose - More than anything, Praxis wishes to find a purpose for themselves. What that means is hard to say all things considered, but it's easily their biggest goal. Given their main reason for existence being a fluke of sorts, they don't want to simply be remembered, or remember themselves as such. They don't even know where they're going to end up in the Soul Cycle when the inevitable happens!
♫ To Investigate the Soul Cycle - Learning about the Soul Cycle remains another massive goal of Praxis'. Given their existence, it raises a lot of questions. Are souls created, or are they simply repurposed? Did they
♫ To Find Love - Yes, this one is fairly cliché. Many people are looking for love. But Camila is doing everything in her power to find love. Of course, following a particular set of standards for herself. She’s not going to lower her standards if it means getting with somebody, though. Her standards are fairly strict; they have to be shorter than her, female, and breathing. Extremely tough standards, but hopefully things will work out in her favor someday.
♫ Learning How To Dance - This is another somewhat odd one. Though she grew up with a fair amount of influencers keeping her away from most anything that wasn't punk or heavier, Camila has always been fascinated with dancing. It doesn't matter what style, though she prefers partner dances like Cha-Cha or Waltz. She wants to learn any and every style she can, and plans to practice until she can't anymore.
♫ To Destroy Soul Society - Perhaps the girl's most recent goal, Camila has a rather large hatred for the organization as a whole. If nothing else, she wants to tear the place to the ground as best as she possibly can. She'd be damned before letting this place continue to stand after everything she's gone through because of the organization.
Overall Personality:
Camila is a fairly carefree spirit. She does what she wants, when she wants, and likely does not prepare for or think about any consequences that could occur based off of her actions and choices. She’s very “live by the seat of her pants”, and openly displays that by doing before thinking. This is a trait that has only grown as time has gone on, and she’s learned more about being a Shinigami, and is likely going to be doing nothing but continuing to accentuate her personality.
While living in the moment, that does not mean she’s completely incapable of planning things out. If the need for it arises, she can plan out a multitude of different things, from a date, to combat strategies. Though the latter of the two isn’t exactly her forte by any means, she’s still fairly adept in the art of war. She’s learned quite a bit from observing various fights, playing multiple turn-based strategies, and running a raiding guild. These are all invaluable to a strategist, as anybody could obviously tell you.
Back to the topic of dates, though, Camila is a helpless romantic. Any time she sees a couple walking around, being happy, a part of her dies inside. She starts to feel jealous, as though that should be her, usually in the guy’s pace. She constantly asks herself what’s wrong with her to the point where she can’t find someone to love and show affection towards. Though, even with this self doubt, she continues to persevere in hopes that one day, she’ll find someone she can call her girlfriend, and hopefully more someday.
Camila will usually put forth a conscious effort to get along with most people she meets. There’s no reason to get on someone’s bad side, unless they’ve wronged you in some way. Purposefully annoying people is extremely rude, and shouldn’t be done by anybody. That’s not a way that anybody should really be treated to begin with, so she does her absolute best to avoid this, as well as preventing others from doing it as well, whether it be to her or someone else. This does drive her up a wall, hence why she actively works to make sure that it does not happen to anyone.
While she may seem extremely nice, sweet, caring, etc. Camila is not opposed to having a negative streak. Especially towards most Quincy. For what she had to live through, the hellish pain of losing her family, they don’t deserve to exist. Though, this isn’t some “they’ve wronged only me, nobody else knows the pain I do” sob story. She knows there’s others out there who have been wronged by this ruthless organization. Camila tends to actively seek these people out, and offer to ally with them to bring down the Vandenreich. That is a long-term goal of hers, and one she will not stop to see accomplished.
Usually when Camila sets her mind to something, she tends to focus on it until she finds something new to set her mind to. She has quite a bit of an addictive personality, and does acknowledge this. Because of this, she cannot go anywhere near any form of drugs, alcohol, etc. She knows that if she started to use these, she likely would never stop until her next death. Something she does not want to happen anytime soon.
Depending on the situation, Camila may develop incredibly violent tendencies. As in, dismember the opponent violent. This is mostly due to her inner hollow. Having had him since the beginning as her spirit, Albin has left quite an imprint on her personality. He’s the reason she’s as rash as she is in most decision-making, and the reason she lives in the moment, as opposed to planning things out. She’s not exactly on the best terms with Albin, but this is not particularly an issue, as this may develop over time.
Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t hate Albin, as surprising as that may sound. She just tends to disagree with him. On every little thing. She may feel that a calm approach could win a fight, and he may feel that without rushing down the target, attacking restlessly, she’s going to lose the fight and disgrace both herself and him. Albin feels as though he’s in complete control most of the time; a fact Camila is going to later need to beat out of him. That is not a mindset she can afford to let him hold on to.
Aside from Camila, Albin is his own being at this point. Overall, he takes a much more unbiased approach to things, and can get fairly analytical at time. Though, that doesn't mean he's not a violent person. Albin is an incredibly violent spirit, and constantly craving some form of bloodshed. He tends to disagree and bicker with everybody he meets, and is quick to fight should an argument arrive. He is in fact the kind of person to fight someone completely unprovoked. This does include Camila, and, should situation help to aid the situation, is not opposed to turning against her in a fight.
Though, while this may be true, Albin does care more about winning a fight than fighting everybody. 9 times out of 10, he won't turn against Camila and will actively fight alongside her, possibly even going as far as to take orders if they're down in a fight. He does care about his own survival, and, as a kind of forced extension of that, Camila's survival. If she dies, the last of him is effectively gone as well. Hell, if it wasn't for her existing to begin with, the last of Albin would've died quite a few years before she was born. He does recognize this, and does refuse to injure Camila to the point of her not being able to recover. Though, he's not entirely opposed to breaking a bone of hers every now and then. His alignment could be easily compared to that of Chaotic Evil without question.♫ COMBAT ♫
Fighting Style:
Camila has a fairly orthodox fighting style. She tends to focus down the target with a sword, and use magic if necessary. There isn’t really anything out of the ordinary, aside from the fact that she’s not alone and does have Albin by her side in a fight. Though they may tend to disagree a ton, they do both strive to win a fight. This much is apparent. Though her approach may seem somewhat one-sided, she does have ways to spice this up.
In her sealed state while within melee distance is when Camila is the most effective. Having never been focused on attacking from afar, she learned to pick up the sword fairly easily. She focuses mostly on well-timed, precise strikes to the opponent’s vitals. Until that opportunity arises, she’ll focus on blocking and parrying attacks until that opportunity reveals itself. The only circumstance in which she’ll retreat from melee is if Albin goes in, as she fears she’ll receive recoil from his attacks.
In her sealed state while at a range, Camila will do one of two things. Firstly, she’ll try to close the gap between her and an opponent. This is to get her into an effective range to beat down the opponent. This is priority number one. Second, she may send Albin in to fight in place of her. This is an effective strategy, especially when she’s looking to throw the opponent off. At this point, she may begin using her limited selection of Bakudo and Kido, as to further throw the opponent off.
If she doesn’t have the option to close the gap while sealed, either through being locked down from a rage or otherwise, she’ll 9/10 times send Albin in to barrage the opponent while she works out the situation herself. This is not something Albin would be opposed to doing, as fighting is one of his favorite pastimes. If she still cannot close the distance, Albin will stay in combat, continuing the relentless assault he is so good at.
If she manages to keep the opponent in melee distance while sealed, she’ll call Albin in, and the two of them will begin to focus down the target as best as possible. They’ll both make sure to leave absolutely no place for the opponent to escape. Escaping means they’ll need to lock them down again, an effort that will likely prove to be much harder. So, the best option would be to capitalize on the opponent’s lack of running away.
Being disarmed will quite quickly prove to be a rather annoying issue for Camila. Should she lose her blade, effort number one will be to retrieve it. She’ll send Albin into melee range to keep the opponent busy while she retrieves her weapon. Granted, this isn’t exactly the worst situation for her to be in, it’s still not something she’ll want to do at all. Taking her time here is not an option, and she’ll need to retrieve her blade as soon as possible.
Existing as part of her sealed state, Albin has his own unique fighting style compared to Camila. He’s an extremely rush-down person, and as such will do what he can to constantly assault the opponent in any way he can. He doesn’t like to sit out for very long, and won’t if ordered to. If Camila tells him to stay out of a fight, he’ll leave, but will only remain seated for a short period of time. At that point, he’ll enter the fight whether she wants him to or not. Naturally, if she calls him in, he’ll gladly join in the fight.
Activating Shikai adds a number of both positives and negatives to her fighting style. For one, she no longer has access to Albin as a fighter. This means she cannot use him to attack or stall for her if need be, she has to rely on her own strengths. Though, she does gain the normal bonuses of her Shikai. For one, her fighting style does change due to “absorbing” Albin. The two of them are now one, giving Camila a more aggressive and offensive fighting style. She now also has access to her Shikai techniques, possibly giving her an edge in combat.
In ranged while in Shikai, once again, Camila’s main focus is to get into ranged combat. This takes up much more of a priority as opposed to her Sealed state, as she no longer has Albin to cover for her while she’s at this disadvantage. She’ll begin making use of Sanguine Lance and Bat Scatter, as to keep her alive while she closes the distance. These two techniques work well together for closing the distance between attacks, while also applying pressure to the opponent.
Upon reaching a melee distance, Camila turns more aggressive than her Sealed counterpart, being able to take advantage of her techniques. She’ll begin to swing more recklessly, a trait that continues to grow as her released state grows. Even though she can take advantage of her techniques, doesn’t mean they’re meant to be used this way. Her Shikai techniques are fairly situational, with only one of them having a real offensive use, and even being one of her only offensive techs overall. While in melee with Shikai, Camila’s main focus is going to be attacking with melee.
Bankai is another step of its on in Camila’s power set. This allows her to continue playing offensively, while continuing to use her techniques to make her extremely defensive. A literal Blood Death Knight, if you will. Taking a step back from the reckless behavior, she tends to focus more on well-timed strikes, as are needed when you’re wielding a much slower weapon than the previous state. Overall, her main focus is still going to be outlasting the opponent, and this becomes much more apparent in this form.
Upon getting stuck in ranged combat, Camila is more prepared for this as opposed to her Sealed and Shikai states. She now has the capability to stall out the opponent more effectively, being able to take advantage of even more defensive techniques to keep herself alive. While still focusing on getting into Melee distance, Camila can afford to slow down with this approach, and take her time upon reaching this range. This is far from a rush as it usually is.
In Melee range, Camila takes a much more tactful approach to her abilities. Instead of attacking relentlessly, she focuses on much more precise attacks, due to her attacks being slower, as stated above. She’s quicker to parry attacks as compared to her Shikai in the sense that she’s more likely to do so. Whether or not she’s quick enough to do so is up in the air. She’ll damn well try to do so, though.
Camila’s hollow mask adds a fair number of benefits to her stats, allowing her to get more offensive for less of a penalty. Due to this, she’ll revert back to more of a Shikai-esque fighting style, focusing on rushing down instead. Due to the nature of her hollow mask, she once again starts to take on a personality more akin to Albin, as she’s taking from his power more so than normal. Her movements and attack begin to become more sporadic over time, lessening the predictability in her attacks, though not by too much to the point where it’s significant. She also takes on a more aggressive approach, focusing on relentless attacks.
While in melee range with her mask on, Camila's main focus is to excessively barrage the target with her newly gained physical and spiritual boosts. Capitalizing on this advantage as best as she can is a main priority for the Vizard, as it'll likely be what leads her to victory in the end. If not, and the possibility is available, Camila will consider going into resurrection as a last resort. Though, this choice is only made when she has no other options, as she doesn't like using this form very often.
While stuck at a distance with her mask on, Camila will do everything in her power to close the distance as quickly as possible. This may be as easy as just one Shunpō. If it is, then so be it. If not, then another solution will be coming quickly. As if it wasn't emphasized enough, Camila is not a ranged fighter. While yes, she can fight from a range, it's not her specialty, and she'll likely fall short of what she can do from a distance as compared to her melee capabilities.
If she loses her mask, Camila will do what she can to adapt to the issue, and fight, or don't fight, accordingly. If her mask was the absolute only reason she was surviving in the confrontation, then she'll escape the battle, valuing her life over winning a fight any day. If her mask was just a means to a quicker end, then she'll take a more defensive approach to the fight, continuing to look to stall the opponent out of energy to actually fight to begin with.
Camila’s Resurrection is more or less the same as her hollow mask, to the point where she’s an extremely aggressive ball of aggression. Once again, she’s going to be focusing on rushing down her opponents, doing what she can to make sure they get absolutely no chance to attack. This is a fairly common trait between most of her release states, so it’s not too much of a surprise that she’s taking on this approach considering that Albin is the one actually giving Camila her release states to begin with.
While at a melee distance while in Resurrection, it's going to be fairly hard for anybody Camila is against to deal with, as she gains a monstrous increase to all of her statistics, similarly to how a hollow mask works. Because of this, her speed and strength will be multiplied tremendously, allowing her to pull of feats of both speed and strength that would've originally never have worked with the way she fights.
While at a ranged distance in Resurrection, for once, she may actually stay at a ranged distance. In this form, she gains access to the Vizard Cero, which will likely be devastating due to the boost in stats she gains for just entering this form to begin with. With those boosts, she may finally be able to hold her own in a ranged confrontation. That is, until she begins to run low on Reiatsu, in which case she'll switch up the tactics to move within melee distance and begin beating on the opponent.
Praxis' Inner World:
Praxis' Inner World can most easily be described as a dimly-lit cathedral. The architecture takes very heavily after early gothic styles, with various carved pillars, hanging drapes, and large, stained-glass windows behind the altar. The left and right sides of the cathedral are lined with wooden pews, about six or so feet away from each other. The building as a whole looks somewhat dilapidated. Torches and other forms of natural light line the walls, keeping the place as lit as possible without the use of electrical means.
Zanpakutō Appearances:
While sealed, Tengoku appears as a set of twin katana, both identical in appearance. The weapon's blade is easily thirty six inches in length, making it a beast of a weapon already. The blade is a deep blue in color, a tone that's maintained even into the weapon's handle. The sword's guard is jet black, and stretches ever so slightly up the back of the blade, providing a bit more support for the weapon in general. This guard is rather simply shaped, and doesn't have a specific pattern; instead, it's simply elliptical.
The weapon's wrap is pure white, perfectly accentuating the deep blue diamond shapes that shine through otherwise. Despite this white color, this grip seems to remain perpetually clean, and doesn't seem to ever even hope to be dirty. Much like Tengoku's guard, the pommel is more or less the same, housing no specific shapes and simply being plain and flat. Tengoku's scabbards are also relatively plain, being made of a navy blue wood, with stripes of white toward the top and being otherwise fairly plain. Without releasing, Tengoku is a simplistic Zanpakutō.
Though, this changes upon releasing into Shikai. Unlike most Zanpakutō, Tengoku works to alter Praxis' appearance upon release. Both Tengoku no Hikari and Tengoku no Yami do so differently, and to different extremes. Praxis' appearance is going to change depending on which one was released first, and will simply gain the abilities of the other after releasing. Releasing both Shikai is as simple as sheathing their blades, and speaking the release commands. From there, Praxis will release one or both of their Shikai. Tengoku's shape remains the same in both forms.
Upon releasing Tengoku no Hikari, Praxis' appearance changes to accentuate the light-focused abilities. Their hair goes from mostly white with bits of turquoise, to completely turquoise. Their eyes take on this same color. Instead of wearing street clothes, Praxis is now dressed in a white suit, with accents of gold across the entire suit. Various bits of navy blue can be seen poking through, though white and gold is the predominant color scheme within this stage. Behind them, a disconnected pylon of sorts seems to be following, though this is just for show.{Tengoku no Hikari - Release}
Upon reaching 100 Essence of Stars, Tengoku no Hikari further Augment's Praxis' appearance. Their hair turns a few tones brighter, and their skin pales. Their sclera turn completely blue, and their eyes change to a brighter white color. Atop their head is a golden crown of sorts, and their suit begins to generate more light than normal. Dark blue accents begin to turn cyan, and six spectral wings manifest behind them. These wings are incapable of flight, and instead only serve to give off an angelic appearance.{Tengoku no Hikari - Prime}
Upon releasing Tengoku no Yami, naturally the opposite occurs. Praxis becomes a being of raw, unfiltered darkness. Once again, their street clothes are no longer in the picture, and instead forcibly rips itself all over the place in order to form a sort of detached cape. Various parts of Praxis' clothing begin to appear perpetually ripping, and remain ever so slightly off of their body. Across their body, technological-esque patterns appear, segmenting their right arm and completely enveloping their left. On their chest, a sort of "eye" opens up, akin to a hollow hole. Their hair maintains its silver color, and grows out exponentially, stretching down to their lower waist. Their eyes now ripple, maintaining a consistent turquoise color throughout their entire eyeball.{Tengoku no Yami - Release}
Upon reaching 100 Essence of Space, Praxis' form once again shifts to a transcended state. Their eyes now take on a more technological look to them, while their skin pales much like their other Prime state. The hole in their chest opens up more, and three singular spikes emerge from the center. The remains of their street clothes turn white, while these eyes continue to open and emerge across their entire figure. Behind them, spectral, technological wings form; incapable of flight, but giving that pseudo-angelic appearance nonetheless.{Tengoku no Yami - Prime}
Tengoku no Nisshoku is able to assume one of three different forms, dependent on Praxis' bias when releasing Bankai. Should they have 100 Essence of Stars, they'll enter a light-augmented form. With 100 Essence of Space, they'll enter a dark-augmented form. With 100 of both, Praxis enters a state that's a mix of both, attaining a level of balance amongst both primal elements, and maintaining a sort of equilibrium between the two. In this balanced state, Praxis doesn't have a "prime" form, though.
In their Light Bankai, Praxis embodies that of an angel of sorts. Their blue hair has now grown down to their upper back, and they take on a more mature appearance about them. Their suit has turned much more blue than normal, and navy ribbons even adorn their shoulders. Around their collar floats a golden ring, divided down the middle with both halves floating on either side of their head. Their eyes are a sky blue in color at this point, and aid in their aura of maturity and purity. Their hair has turned a lighter shade since Shikai, and shines softly.{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Light}
Upon obtaining 200 Essence of Stars, Praxis once again ascends into a greater state. Their hair brightens once more, taking on an almost white color, as their skin goes completely pale. Their eyes once again turn completely blue, with their irises turning white. Their suit mellows out a bit, as they lose all of the ribbons, but behind them spectral wings form again, with a bit more; a runic circle appears behind them, slowly oscillating about as they fight. For the most part, their suit has turned entirely white.{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Prime Light}
On the opposite side of the spectrum, embracing the darkness grants Praxis a new form upon entering Bankai to fit that darkness. Maintaining the same silver hair, their hair now sits held up by a crown of black crystal, though regardless of this still easily reaching down to their feet. More than just their street clothes, Praxis' entire body begins to almost peel off, separating from the rest of their form while still functioning as a "body". The eye in their chest opens more, and reveals a small sphere in the center, as more eyes open up on the man's body. In this form, they tend to float about instead of actually touching the ground, hovering just a few inches off through Advanced Air Ground.{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Dark}
Upon obtaining 200 Essence of Space, Praxis explodes with dark reiatsu, and their form is once again augmented to reach a pinnacle of darkness. Per usual, Praxis' skin turns snow white, and their eyes change to how they were in their previous Prime state. Adorning their body are black, steel-like structures that float just inches away from the sides of their head, their arms, and their waist. Their clothing has practically merged with their body at this point, appearing as though he's wearing nothing, yet is fully clothed at the same time. their legs are spectral in nature, and don't actually hold physical form. Behind them hovers a large metal disc, following them wherever they may float to.{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Prime Dark}
And finally, we have Tengoku no Nisshoku's Balanced state. Taking traits from both halves, this balanced state keeps Praxis' short hair, but turns it completely silver. Their eyes remain green, much like their normal form. Their outfit still appears more regal, though maintains a darker color palette of green and black. Unlike their other two forms, Praxis appears much more "humane", truly serving as a balance between light and dark. Seeing as this form doesn't have an ascended state, this is their final form in Bankai.{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Equilibrium}{Tengoku no Nisshoku - Prime Equilibrium}
Zanpakutō Release Names: "Shine Like Stars, Tengoku no Hikari!"/"Darken The Sky, Tengoku no Yami!"/"Form A Dome Of Stars And Blacken The Night Sky, Tengoku no Nisshoku!"
Overall Ability:
Tengoku is a set of Zanpakuto with the ability to shift its user toward a few different steps of progression, depending on the actions that the user takes. Upon releasing, Praxis is required to keep track of two separate resources that will influence different steps in their progression in a fight; Essence of Stars and Essence of Space. Tengoku no Hikari will generate Essence of Stars while being used, and Tengoku no Yami will generate Essence of Space while being used. The amount of Essences generated are dependent on how both releases are being utilized, but certain actions will generate more, and certain actions will generate less. Upon entering Shikai, Praxis sheathes their Zanpakuto. Should they unsheathe their weapons at all during this process, their release immediately ends.
Both Essence of Stars and Essence of Space are only able to 100. Upon hitting 100 Essences of either variety, the opposite Essence that did not reach 100 will instead be locked from generating additional Essences, and techniques regarding that Essence are instead converted to the other (this means that upon reaching 100 Essence of Stars, Tengoku no Yami will no longer be able to generate Essence of Space, and all of Tengoku no Yami's techniques will be converted from galaxy-themed techniques, to starlight-themed techniques).
Upon unlocking Bankai, Praxis will actually be unable to directly make use of it upon entering a thread. Only after obtaining 75 or more Essences of either type will Praxis be able to spend the reiatsu to activate Bankai. Until 75 in at least one of these Essences is obtained, Bankai is unusable. That said, depending on which Essences reach this point when Bankai is released, Praxis' Bankai will change slightly. More on that in Tengoku no Nisshoku's Overall Ability, though. Should either of these Essences reach 100, however, Praxis is given the benefit of paying 25% less reiatsu in order to enter Bankai (800 normally would be 600, 400 normally would be 300, etc.).
Tengoku no Yami Overall Ability:
Tengoku no Hikari, or 'Heaven's Light', is a release that focuses around the use of Starlight-based physical abilities in order to dominate a fight, mimicking that of the stars in space. Predominantly, this is through the creation of starlight weaponry in order to get the job done. At any point they desire after Tengoku no Hikari is released, Praxis can spend any amount of reiatsu in order to create melee weapons of starlight. These weapons take any form Praxis desires at the time of creation, and have a durability equal to the reiatsu spent in order to create the weapon, up to his base Strength in Shikai, and double that in Bankai. These weapons can be controlled by Praxis telepathically, and utilize Praxis' Strength in all cases. They move at a static speed of 600. These weapons can only travel up to thirty feet away from them at any given time. Anything struck by these swords will be inflicted by solar burns, akin to that of touching a star, but not nearly as hot. These weapons, for all intents and purposes, are Praxis' Zanpakutō. Using these weapons telepathically does not transfer over any mastery of them via Skill Points; they're treated as though they have 0 Ranks in weapon skills.
For every 100 reiatsu that Praxis spends in order to either utilize Tengoku no Hikari's Overall Ability, or spends in order to cast Tengoku no Hikari's techniques, they generate 1 Essence of Stars. Upon reaching 100 Essence of Stars, all of Tengoku no Hikari's techniques are strengthened in ways specifically listed in each technique. Essence of Stars that are generated are tallied when they're earned. Reiatsu spent to release Shikai does grant Essence of Stars.
Upon reaching 100 Essence of Space, Tengoku no Hikari's release shifts to accommodate that of Tengoku no Yami. Instead of being themed around starlight, Tengoku no Hikari is instead changed to that of space. Starlight weapons instead becomes space-forged weaponry, and utilizes the frozen hell of space that Tengoku no Yami tends to produce. In addition to this change, both Tengoku no Hikari's Overall Ability, and Zanpakutō techniques utilize Spiritual Pressure instead of Strength. Tengoku no Hikari's weapon range is also doubled.
Tengoku no Yami Overall Ability:
In direct contrast to Tengoku no Hikari's starlight-focused powers, Tengoku no Yami, or ‘Heaven’s Darkness’, focuses instead on spatial manipulation in order to combat foes spiritually. Much like how Tengoku no Hikari grants Praxis a new "basic attack", Tengoku no Yami does the same, but in a different way. Through Tengoku no Yami, Praxis is able to fire off bolts of spatial energy from their hands. By holding out their hand, Praxis is able to spend 50 reiatsu in order to fire off a spiritual bolt of blackened, galactic reiatsu at 800 speed. This bolt of reiatsu has a Spiritual Pressure equal to Praxis'. Upon contact with anything, these bolts explode with spatial energy, hitting anything within a five foot radius of the bolt and afflicting a sort of freezer-burn to anything struck, mimicking the cold vacuum of space. These bolts travel up to 60 feet before dissipating.
For every 100 reiatsu that Praxis spends in order to either utilize Tengoku no Yami's Overall Ability, or spends in order to cast Tengoku no Yami's techniques, Praxis generates 1 Essence of Space. Upon reaching 100 Essence of Space, all of Tengoku no Yami's techniques are strengthened in ways specifically listed in each technique. Essence of Space that are generated are tallied as they're earned. Reiatsu spent to release Shikai does grant Essence of Space.
Upon reaching 100 Essence of Stars, Tengoku no Yami's release shifts to accommodate that of Tengoku no Hikari. Instead of being themed around space, Tengoku no Yami instead changes to fit that of the star-focused aesthetic. Space-imbued bolts of reiatsu instead become starlight-aligned, reiatsu-laced shockwaves, and utilize the blinding radiance that Tengoku no Hikari creates. In addition to this change, both Tengoku no Yami's Overall Ability, and Zanpakutō techniques utilize Strength instead of Spiritual Pressure. Bolts fired from Tengoku no Yami's Overall now function identical to shockwaves.
Tengoku no Nisshoku Overall Ability:
Being Praxis' Bankai, Tengoku no Nisshoku serves as the capstone of the prior two releases, and seeks to embody powerful aspects of either one. As mentioned in Praxis' Overall Ability, Bankai is locked until 75 Essences of either variety are obtained. After that point, Praxis is able to spend the necessary reiatsu in order to release into Bankai, granting them access to one of three different variants; two of these variants are almost identical, but change thematically based on whichever Essences Praxis had hit 75. Upon activating Bankai, unlocked Essences are immediately set to 100.
If only one Essence had hit 75 by the time Praxis sought to release, their Bankai will be augmented appropriately to fit that bias. With 75 Essence of Stars, Praxis' form will change to better suit that bias toward starlight, becoming more bright and regal while also changing their Bankai Technique, Eclipsed Heaven, to the Starlight variant. While in Starlight Bankai, Praxis' Essence of Stars now cap at 200, and reduce the Strength of attacks made against them by an amount equal to their Essence of Stars. Reiatsu can be spent on a one-to-one basis in order to increase this value. On top of this, Praxis is able to create one weapon through Tengoku no Hikari's Overall Ability at 1,200 durability, once per post for no cost. This weapon does not generate any Essence of Stars.
With 75 Essence of Space, Praxis' form will contort to fit the all-expansive recesses of space, taking on a dark and sinister in appearance, while also changing their Bankai Technique, Eclipsed Heaven, to the Galactic variant. While in Galactic Bankai, Praxis' Essence of Space now cap at 200, and reduce the Reiatsu Strength or Spiritual Pressure of attacks made against them by an amount equal to their Essence of Space. Reiatsu can be spent on a one-to-one basis in order to increase this value. On top of this, Tengoku no Yami's bolts are made stronger, flying at 1,200 Speed, explode with a 10-foot radius, and now have a range of 90 feet.
If Praxis manages to get both Essences to reach 75 before entering Bankai, Praxis will reach a sort of enhanced middle-ground between their releases, called Celestial Bankai. Both their Essence of Stars and Essence of Space will be set to 100 each. From there, Praxis is given access to their entire release; they is able to use both Starlight and Galactic variants of all of their techniques (potentially even using both at the same time), and both of their Overall Abilities, choosing between Strength and Spiritual Pressure on a whim; Starlight abilities are no longer locked to Strength, and Galactic abilities are no longer locked to Spiritual Pressure. While in Celestial Bankai, Eclipsed Heaven is locked and unusable, but instead, Praxis gains access to a Bankai technique that's locked in both other variants; Universal Singularity.
Tengoku no Hikari Techniques:{Starlight Road}
Name: Starlight Road
Bias: Starlight
Range: Self.
Cost: 100 reiatsu.
Description: Starlight Road is a step technique that grants Praxis the option to chain on an attack to it should they desire. By paying the reiatsu cost, Praxis is able to coat themselves in starlight, and move at 13x their speed for a singular step. By spending another 100 reiatsu on top of this, Praxis is once again able to step directly after the first one, in order to move in on a certain location and deliver a melee attack at that same speed. If this variant is used, step techniques other than Starlight Road cannot be used during that same post. In Bankai, Praxis shines brilliantly with this technique, requiring 300 Instinct to accurately follow their movements.
At 100 Essence of Stars, Praxis is now able to move at 15x their speed during these steps. At 100 Essence of Space, the attack that Praxis makes does not need to be physical, and can instead be a spiritual attack. As such, closing the distance between them and an opponent is not a necessity with the second step. Similarly, the blinding effect is instead a mantle of space, applying the same effects.{Solar Strike}
Name: Solar Strike
Bias: Starlight
Range: Melee.
Cost: 200 reiatsu.
Description: By imbuing their next melee strike with reiatsu, and striking a pressure point, a weak spot, or just hitting exceptionally hard, Praxis is able to debilitate their foes upon landing a successful hit. Those that are struck with Solar Strike are met with the unfortunate fate of having their reiatsu circulation throughout their body disrupted for a short period of time due to an excess of stardust forced into their system. For three posts, the victim in question is required to spend an extra 10% reiatsu on any ability or tax they spend reiatsu on for the duration. If hit with another Solar Strike during this time frame, this post count resets, and the 10% increase stacks, up to 50% (100% in Bankai). Once this technique's cost is paid, the reiatsu spent is lost should Praxis miss this strike.
At 100 Essence of Stars, Solar Strike now lasts for 5 posts instead of 3. At 100 Essence of Space, Praxis can instead fire a bolt of spatial reiatsu instead of making a melee strike. These bolts follow the same rules set for Tengoku no Yami's Overall Ability.{Solar Ignition}
Name: Solar Ignition
Bias: Starlight
Range: Self.
Cost: 100 reiatsu per post.
Description: Taking their abilities to burn with solar force one step further, Solar Ignition allows Praxis to ramp up the heat their weapons give off tenfold. Upon spending the appropriate reiatsu cost, their hardlight weapons grow significantly hotter, being able to melt through physical and spiritual barriers easier than butter. Mechanically, this allows for the ability to bypass defensive powers, abilities, and objects that are of an equal or lesser Class, while also inflicting immediate third-degree burns on targets. Those without 2 Ranks in Heat Tolerance, increased by 1 for each time that same location has been struck, will find themselves unable to move or utilize said area due to severe nerve damage to the area. Bankai increases this minimum Heat Tolerance Rank to 3.
At 100 Essence of Stars, the burns left by this ability are completely unhealable through any source that isn't of an equal or greater Class, including High-Speed Regeneration. At 100 Essence of Space, this fiery effect is converted into an icy effect, applying the same effects but locally freezing an area, and functioning off of Cold Tolerance instead. Said effects can be channeled through Praxis' ranged attacks as well.
Tengoku no Yami Techniques:{Galactic Pylon}
Name: Galactic Pylon
Bias: Galaxy
Range: Within 100 feet of Praxis.
Cost: 200 reiatsu.
Description: Upon spending the reiatsu cost, Praxis creates a pylon of space-augmented reiatsu; a small eye with two lingering points both on the top and bottom. This pylon serves two different purposes; absorbing latent reiatsu in the area, and firing off bolts of space with said reiatsu. Upon using this technique, one pylon is created within 10 feet of Praxis, wherever they desire, with 0 reiatsu but 200 extra durability. From there, this pylon takes in 100 reiatsu every post (200 in Bankai). As these pylons take in more reiatsu, their appearance will shift slightly, as small flecks of light appear across them, mimicking stars in an otherwise barren space. These pylons gain durability exactly equivalent to the amount of reiatsu stored inside of them, and upon taking damage, will lose an amount of reiatsu equal to the OS of the attack made against them. Praxis may physically crush these Pylons in order to absorb the reiatsu stored inside of them. Praxis may not go over their maximum reiatsu in this way, and every 100 reiatsu absorbed through this method grants Praxis an Essence of Space. If Praxis leaves this 100-foot range, these pylons deactivate and the reiatsu they stored is lost. 5 of these Pylons can be active at any given time, and considering they're densely-packed reiatsu batteries, even those with 0 Energy Sensory can detect these. As desired, these pylons can spend their reiatsu in order to fire off a bolt of space reiatsu through Tengoku no Yami's Overall Ability, or they can be detonated, exploding in a twenty-foot radius at an Offensive Stat equal to the reiatsu stored within the pylon.
At 100 Essence of Space, Praxis is capable of immediately switching locations with their pylons by expending 100 reiatsu. At 100 Essence of Stars, these pylons don't fire off bolts, but instead have the option to form as weapons per Tengoku no Hikari's Overall Ability; attacks need to specifically target the weapon for them to lose durability.{Astral Glaciation}
Name: Astral Glaciation
Bias: Galaxy
Range: Variable.
Cost: 100 reiatsu per post.
Description: Each post this technique remains active, Praxis' freezing abilities are taken a step further; deeply chilling someone to their very soul. Praxis' blasts and spiritual attacks freeze someone's body to an extreme extent, resulting in the inability to move faster than 300 Speed for three posts. Another application of this ability resets this timer. While this is the case, individuals can spend 100 Reiatsu for every 100 Speed above 300 they wish to move for that post to resist; this is naturally siphoned into the nearest pylon if one exists. Each Rank in Cold Tolerance someone possesses reduces this tax by 25 Reiatsu per 100 Speed, with the tax increasing to 150 per 100 Speed in Bankai.
At 100 Essence of Space, the duration is set to 5 posts instead of 3. At 100 Essence of Stars, this ignites the soul instead of freezing, ramping up body temperature in the process and debilitating that way. Mechanics remain the same, though this utilizes Heat Tolerance, and can be channeled through melee attacks.{Astral Precipice - Extra Fighter Tech}
Name: Astral Precipice
Bias: Galaxy
Range: 30 feet.
Cost: 200 reiatsu.
Description: Upon paying the reiatsu cost, Praxis can manifest a trail of spatial spikes that break through the ground. These spikes impale with a force equal to Praxis' Spiritual Pressure, and travel in a wave that reaches a 30 foot distance at a speed of 800. Upon impaling a target, these spikes will break off in whatever was struck, siphoning 50 reiatsu per post to the nearest Pylon. These spikes can be pulled out, but doing requires a second of focus, and remaining unfazed from this action requires at least 2 Ranks in Pain Tolerance. Anything less will cause so much pain from those that try that they find themselves unable to do so. In Bankai, these spikes siphon 100 reiatsu per post.
At 100 Essence of Space, these spikes require at least 3 Ranks in Pain Tolerance to pull out. At 100 Essence of Stars, weapons summoned through Tengoku no Hikari's Overall Ability instead manifest these spikes, allowing them to be broken off on successful melee attacks with said weapons. These spikes fade off of the weapons in question should this attack miss.
Tengoku no Nisshoku Techniques:{Eclipsed Heaven}
Name: Eclipsed Heaven
Bias: Starlight/Galaxy
Range: 50-foot radius around the origin.
Cost: 300 reiatsu.
Description: Upon entering a biased Bankai, Praxis gains access to Eclipsed Heaven. This technique is rather simplistic in nature, but deadly nonetheless. Upon paying the reiatsu cost, a center of origin is chosen for this technique; this center being Praxis in Starlight Bankai, and a point of Praxis' choice within 100 feet of them in Galactic Bankai. From there, a tremendous force of reiatsu and gravitational pressure is exerted upon the area, depending on Praxis' Bankai bias. The OS of this technique is equal to Praxis' Strength in Starlight Bankai, and Praxis' Spiritual Pressure in Galactic Bankai. For every appropriate Essence that Praxis has (Essence of Stars in Starlight Bankai, and Essence of Space in Galactic Bankai), the Offensive Stat of this technique is increased; every 25 Essences that Praxis has above 100 will increase the Offensive Stat by 25%, capping at an additional 100%. This technique can only be used once every three posts, and will halve an Offensive Stat for this three post duration; Strength with Starlight Bankai, and Spiritual Pressure with Galactic Bankai.
In Starlight Bankai, this force is explosive, and physical in nature. Centered on Praxis, everything within a 50-foot radius is immediately subjected to an outwardly-expanding shockwave of raw physical force and gravitational pressure, flying outward at a speed of 800. This shockwave appears radiant, and produces a small amount of light as it expands outward. Should Praxis be standing on solid ground, this will even begin to crack and damage the ground beneath them, as this shockwave will travel through solid objects should the OS be high enough to do so.
In Galactic Bankai, this force is implosive, and spiritual in nature. Centered on a point in Praxis' sight within 100 feet, everything within a 50-foot radius is immediately subjected to a compressing and crushing force of raw reiatsu and gravitational pressure, compressing everything within the range at a speed of 800, flying toward the center of origin. Should part of this zone be underground, chucks of the ground may even be sent flying toward the center of origin, crushing those caught in the blast even more than would normally be done. Unlike the Starlight variant, this variant takes a few seconds to start up, and coats the area about to be crushed in heavy amounts of reiatsu, giving slight warning that something is about to happen in the area beforehand, allowing those with 300+ Instinct to pick up on such a hint.{Universal Singularity - Extra Fighter Tech}
Name: Universal Singularity
Bias: Starlight/Galaxy
Range: 100 feet.
Cost: 600 reiatsu.
Description: Universal Singularity is perhaps Praxis' most powerful capstone ability. This technique lives up to its name, and serves as one would expect; a manmade singularity of cosmic energy. Upon paying the reiatsu cost, Praxis focuses both starlight and galactic reiatsu into their hand, condenses it down into tremendously dense spiritual particles, and sends it flying forward as an ever-condensing, ever-expanding spiritually-laced shockwave. This blast appears as though it's simultaneously the creation of a galaxy, and the birth of a black hole, distorting spacetime around the edges of the blast itself, requiring 300+ Instinct to react appropriately. The resulting blast uses both Praxis' OS for damage, and immediately checks their current Essence of Stars and Essence of Space. For every Essence held above 100, the OS of this blast is increased by 1%, capping at a 200% increase. This technique functions at 1,600 speed, and for the purposes of overcoming defenses, is treated as both a Physical and Spiritual attack. After using this technique, it undergoes a three-post cooldown period during which it cannot be used, due to Praxis' casting arm being wracked with third degree burns from the sheer amount of force being released from this attack, and causing a three-post period in which that arm is unable to make use of normal shockwaves. Should these wounds be healed, the cooldown is removed.
Mask Appearances:
Camila’s Mask takes the form of that of a more evil masquerade mask. The mask is a full-faced mask, divided into two parts based on top and bottom of the mask. The mask contains three primary colors; White on the lower half, Black on the upper half, and Red for the accents. Curving downwards from above the nose in the shape of an upside-down, red “V”. Above this “V”, is a black base with various curved streaks of red decorating the design. The mask appears to be very regal above the nose.
Below the nose, the “hollow” in the term “hollow mask” becomes more apparent. Below that “V”, is a pure white, more violent appearance. The jaw of the mask is similar to that of an average hollow mask, with various spikes for teeth and a fairly large jaw. The chin is sharply spikes downwards. The mask curves around to her ears, and covers them up, as well as most of her face. The lower part of the mask takes on a much more bone-like appearance as opposed to the upper part, which has a more glossy, plastic-like appearance to it.

History:{PROLOGUE}
Before we begin the ever-expanding story of Camila Adaronde and her descent into darkness, some background information must be established first. To start, Camila came from an extremely spiritually aware family that prided themselves on this ability. Due to it not being covered in this story because she has yet to meet her “Zanpakutō spirit”, let alone inner hollow, it will be stated here. Both of her parents knew each other since childhood, and were inseparable. During a fateful night when they were young adults, they were both attacked by the same Arrancar, and in that happening, traces of the Arrancar's reiatsu were left inside of the body of her mother and father.
The Arrancar was detained by Shinigami, but not without a fight. In one last effort to slay the two, the hollow made one last attempt to end the couple, but was quickly put down after landing an additional attack on both of them, leaving them with even more of his residual reiatsu. This Arrancar's name was Aldin Landry, the same hollow that would later manifest inside of our protagonist.
With both future parents surviving, they later went on to get married, and have two children. Their first child, Camila. Their second, Camila’s younger brother Felix. One of these children would later grow to be Fullbringers, save for Camila. With the scene set, we may now begin the tale of the eldest child in the Adaronde family, Camila.{CHAPTER Ⅰ}
“C’mon Camila, you’re much better than this than we are!” Felix complained. He stared into the eyes of his older sister, currently trying to read in the living room of their small house. She let out a sigh, and turned her head to face him, clearly annoyed. “I already told you I don’t like doing this,” she grunted. Placing a bookmark into the book she was currently reading, she stood up, once again looking down at the younger boy. “You owe me for this, remember that.”
“Of course!” He said in reply. She turned to walk into her room, which happened to be connected to the room they were in. She opened the door, and threw the book she was currently reading down, picking up another she had next to her bed. Camila tucked it underneath her arm, and exited the room. She began to look for her brother, who was watching her intently from her original seat on the couch. She sighed again. “I’m only going to do this once, so you’d better pay attention.” Felix nodded. Camila held the book up by the spine, keeping it horizontal. From the book, a wave of reiatsu began to condense around it and light up the air in a color of blood red. From the book, formed a sword. The blade was large, and looked to be fairly heavy as well. She gripped the weapon with her free hand, and let it fall to her side.
“Whoa!” Her younger brother shouted, “I could feel that from like, a thousand miles away if I wanted to!” Obviously he was exaggerating, as kids did, she thought to herself. From in the kitchen, Camila heard her mother shout. “Camila Elizabeth Adaronde, what have I told you about using that in the house?” Camila began to form a surprised look on her face. How could she tell what was happening inside? She probably heard her brother’s reaction, she thought to herself. Yeah, that had to be it. “Sorry,” she shouted back to her mother, as she disabled the form of the blade. Immediately the book fell to the ground with a quiet thump. She glared at her little brother. “Sorry! I didn’t mean to get you in trouble,” he said sheepishly, “I just wanted to see if I could do that for myself is all…”
Camila started to feel bad for her brother. He was only nine, after all. He was still young, easily fascinated by anything out of the ordinary. She had been 14 at the time, a good 5 years older than him. During that time, she’s gotten used to the whole “dead people are everywhere” thing. This was something her parents explained to her a long time ago; the existence of Shinigami, hollows, how they exist, and even that of Fullbringers. Though most of that never held her interest, she was always fascinated by the Shinigami. Ever since she learned about them; what they’re capable of, she’s wanted to be one. Only one small problem, though; in order for that to happen, from what her parents told her, she needed to die. This was something Camila was not ready for. The next best thing for her was being a Fullbringer, the nature of which her parents did not mention was based from a hollow’s power.
Snapping back into reality, Camila sighed. “It’s alright, it’ll come with time. Mom and Dad say everybody can do it if they want to.” Her brother’s face lit up in excitement. “Then I’m gonna do everything I can in order to learn!” Camila couldn’t help but smile. She was glad to see her brother so enthusiastic about something she tended to hate. She couldn’t stand being a Fullbringer. Hopefully her brother and sister will like it, as they’re likely going to unlock the ability to do these kinds of things as well. “Yeah,” Camila told herself, “hopefully.”
She went into her room, and began to lay down. Upon the quiet around her beginning to form, drowning out outside noise, she heard a familiar voice. “You’ll never make it as a Shinigami,” the voice said, “You’re not cut out for it at all.” She knew that voice. It was a voice that had been tormenting her from a young age. As far back as she could remember, this voice has been with her, making her life a living hell in any way it could. She began to sob upon hearing it’s return. She turned around, and saw the same man she has seen since her childhood.
He was a pale man, standing quite tall for how old he looked. He had to be in what, his 40’s? At least. “You wouldn’t survive a day as a Shini,” he told her, crossing his arms and giving her a condescending smirk. She began to tear up, and formed a fist. Although shorter than him, she was still tall for her age, she she compared rather well. She pulled back her arm, and quickly thrusted it forward, aiming for his stomach. He quickly stepped out of the way, and laughed. “What’re you expecting to do with a weak little punch like that, huh?”
She began to grow angry, and tried to throw another punch. This one was also immediately sidestepped, and he took a step back. “Honey, please,” The man said, pulling his arm back, “This is what a real punch is like!” He quickly swung his arm into her stomach, and Camila began to flinch naturally. Upon “connecting” with her, the man disappeared. Realizing this a bit too late, Camila screamed on instinct, and forced her eyes shut. The man was gone. He hadn’t even touched her, why did she scream? This was a question that needed to go unanswered, as her parents began running into the room.
“Is everything alright?” Camila’s mother asked frantically, checking her all over as to make sure nothing was wrong with her. Her father maintained a severely worried look on his face. “N-Nothing’s wrong,” Camila managed to force out. She was seconds away from breaking down, and clearly showed this. “Are you sure sweetheart? Is there anything we can do to help?” Her mother asked. “I’m sure, I’m fine!” Camila stated rather aggressively. She didn’t like to be treated like a child. She was 15, she was going to be an adult in a few years. Her birthday was in a month, for crying out loud! “Alright dear, I think it’s time for us to leave,” Camila’s father said to her mother, who was currently stressing out over her first-born daughter, “Let’s give her some time to calm down. And, Camila,” her father said, turning to face her, “If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to let us know.”
A few moments later, after managing to calm herself down, Camila decided to do what she was originally planning, and decided to lay down. She pulled her blanket above herself, and closed her eyes. Hopefully this dream would be different. For as long as she could remember, she’s been having nightmares. Constantly happening every night without missing a beat. And, every night was the same thing. The same man who she had just encountered again today, beating her down physically. She felt so powerless in these dreams, and wished they would stop. Though, for these to stop, that meant telling someone what was going on. She didn’t want to be labelled as crazy. She shook it off, and drifted off to sleep.{CHAPTER Ⅱ}
Camila opened her eyes, and was immediately met with the view of what appeared to be a ballroom. She had not realized that this was a dream, and took a step forward. Upon her foot hitting the ground, she realized her feet made a click, and that she felt taller than normal. She was in heels, and wearing a dress. This was nothing really new for her, because as of recently, she’s been trying on numerous amounts of dresses and heels. After all, her 16th birthday was approaching quickly.
She began to take a few more steps around, before being once again met with a familiar voice. It was in the sound of a laugh, as she began to hear the clicking of shoes against the glossy wooden floor. She quickly turned around, and was met with nothing. Almost immediately, though, The sound began to play from behind her head, like before. He was moving around, and quickly. She turned the rest of her body, as to see if that correlates, and discovered no correlation. She realized that his location was dependent on the direction her eyes were. There was no way she was going to be able to see him, as he was just too damn quick. She closed her eyes, and took a deep breath. Seconds later, she was met with a sharp pain in her back, forcing her forward. She ended up tripping over herself, and falling forward to her hands and knees. She coughed.
The pain she felt was a punch straight to her lower spine. Normally, a punch of that kind of force straight to someone’s spinal cord would be enough to deal some serious damage, and at worst, paralyze them. Though, this wasn’t a normal situation. It had been a dream, unbeknownst to Camila. Though not physically, it had felt like she was just forced to endure through that pain in the real world; as if it had actually happened. She turned her head behind her slowly to the left, and saw the man looming over her. “You’re pathetic,” he said, delivering a sharp kick straight to her gut. Immediately she jumped upwards from her hands and knees, and fell onto her side. Her head slammed against the ground, as well as the entire left side of her body. She was racked with pain.
Turning her head up slowly, tears began to run down her cheek. She began to cry, barely able to take the pain she now had to put up with without crying. Again, this had been a dream, so naturally, she was able to withstand more than she normally would be able to; much more. The man walked slowly in front of her vision, his shoes clicking against the ground the whole way there. The sound echoed through the dance hall. “W-Why?” She asked. She didn’t have much else to say, nor could she really force more out. “Why?” He repeated, “Because this is something I deserve to get to do. My prey escaped from me, and with that took what I held dearest to me; my life. So now, in return, I’m going to take what they hold dearest to them.”
Camila didn’t understand a word of this. Prey? What they hold dearest? Who was they? Who was his prey? This did nothing but confuse Camila, something that showed quite evidently on her face. “Don’t worry, child,” the man said, pulling his foot back, “You’ll learn in due time.” Almost immediately, as if some invisible force was holding it back, the man’s foot shot forward. It appeared as though it was going to easily come in contact with Camila’s face; specifically her nose. His foot seemed to be there instantly, flying at a speed she could barely keep up with, approaching her face, and…
Camila shot up from her bed, completely covered in sweat. She was breathing heavily, and holding herself back from screaming. It had all been a dream, she thought to herself, nothin but a dream. She wiped her forehead, and gently slammed her head against her pillow. Gently turning her head to the right, Camia looked at a digital clock next to her bed. 1:19 AM. Damn, she thought to herself, it’s way too early for this. She sighed to herself, and started to drift back to sleep.{CHAPTER Ⅲ}
When you have nothing going on during that time, a month can go by extremely quickly. Even if you have things that are happening to keep your life eventful, time will still fly by. That’s just the nature of time, and exactly what happened to Camila during this time. Even though she had to deal with the constant torment she was subjected to, time went by rather quickly. Eventually, the day of her sixteenth birthday rolled around, and nobody was prepared for the events that were going to unfold.
The day had started off rather normal, with nothing really out of the ordinary. Camila was still being tormented by this seemingly fake man she continued to avoid telling anybody about, Felix was still fascinated by the spiritual world, same old, same old. About halfway through the day, Camila’s family decided to celebrate her birthday, not going overly-extravagant on a sweet 16 party due to the family’s already low income.
---
“...Happy Birthday to You!” Everybody sang, finishing the well-known song, and clapping afterwards. Camila let a small smile rise to her cheeks. She was glad to be celebrating this day with her family, and didn’t want it any other way. She blew out the small candles that were placed on top of the carrot cake before her; her favorite. Not even a second after, Camila’s father pulled out a small bag from behind him, and handed it to his daughter. “This is just a little something from your mother and I”, he said.
Camila’s smile persisted, as she opened the bag up. Inside, were a few things. On top, was a shirt. The shirt had been black in color, different from her normal color choices, and had a logo on the front for a band she recognized. “We know you’ve been listening to them a lot,” her father said, “So we decided to get you a tee shirt!” Camila’s smile began to grow. She hugged the shirt. “C’mon, keep going!” her mother said, her phone screen still pointed towards her daughter. She began to pull out a book. Just from the font on the cover, she immediately recognized the series. “I wasn’t sure if you’re into those backwards comics,” her mother said, “but I figured you’ll read pretty much anything, so it couldn’t hurt to try it, right?” Little did her mother know, Camila was an avid fan of manga, she just never read them at home, as she never owned any books.
“Mila, Mila!” Her little brother shouted, obviously excited about something. “What is it, Felix?” she said cheerfully, glad to encourage him. “I want to show you something cool!” Her little brother quickly grabbed her hand, and his favorite toy robot. He opened the front door, and sprinted out to the front yard. Upon reaching the large grassy patch in front of their house, Felix set the robot down, and pointed both of his hands towards the robot. He closed his eyes, and focused intently. Camila thought this was rather cute, and did pick up what he wanted to show her, though it didn’t seem to be working at the moment. Suddenly, the boy took multiple steps backward, as if hit by something. Almost immediately, Camila realized what was going on, and dropped her shirt and book. The boy had what appeared to be an arrow of light sticking out of his shoulder. Before she could react, the arrow in his shoulder was then met with a matching one, this time in the young boy’s skull.
“FELIX!!” Camila screamed at the top of her lungs, with tears beginning to stream down her face. As if on queue, Camila’s parents ran outside, and grabbed her by the arms, pulling her inside. They covered her mouth, and pulled them into their room. Confused and concerned for her now executed brother, she tried to break from their grip, though unsuccessful. An unfamiliar voice began to speak, getting louder with each second. “Come out, little hollow, and be purged! It is the wish of His Holiness, and therefore shall be done!” What hollow was the man talking about? Who was His Holiness? Why was her brother just killed? These were all questions Camila had, and all questions that would get answered at a later time.
Camila’s dad began to rummage through drawers, until he found a small knife. It was a steak knife that he had held onto in the case of an intruder. But how was he going to stand up to that man with the bow? Was he insane? He’d be killed immediately! He turned to face Camila, and a tear rolled down his cheek. “Mila, do you trust me?” he asked, his voice starting to crack. Her mother began to cry silently, turning away from Camila. The young girl was confused. What had been going on? “Dad, what hollow was the man talking about? Who’s His Holiness?”
Her dad grabbed her shoulders, and held her face level with his. “Camila, this is not a time for questions! I need you to answer me! Do you trust me?” He began to say softly. As he finished, the door to their bedroom was kicked open. Standing in the entrance, was a man clad in full white. He looked to be wearing some kind of uniform. In his hand, a bow. The bow appeared to be made of the same stuff that her sword was, but instead of red, his was blue. “There you are,” he said, aiming his bow at Camila’s mother, and releasing his backmost hand. Her mother’s body slammed up against the wall, and slumped over.
Acting on impulse, Camila’s father took the knife, and ran it through Camila’s chest. Her eyes widened as immense pain gripped her body. She looked down, and began to cry. Her hearing slowly started to fade. She looked up, and saw the older man who had been tormenting her most of her life, standing behind of her father. He appeared to mouth the words, “Sleep tight”. Faint screaming could be heard from around her. It sounded like a man’s voice, and was coming from right in front of her. She looked down once again; at her hands. They were now completely covered in blood. Her vision slowly began to blacken. Her eyes were still open. Is this what dying felt like..? Was she about to die..? Her head began to spin. She felt dizzy, like she couldn’t keep herself up anymore. She heard a faint thud, and felt a small pain in her head; nothing like the current pain in her chest. Though, even that was starting to fade. All of her senses were starting to disappear. She couldn’t feel anything. She tried to speak, and managed to get out one last sentence before everything faded to black.{CHAPTER Ⅳ}
Seconds later, Camila felt herself come to. This time, with no pain at all. Her head was resting on the ground, facing the doorway. In front of her, were four pairs of feet. Two that belonged to the man in white, and two behind him. Those feet were covered in black robes, and didn’t appear to be visual at the moment. She tilted her head and looked up. The man in white now had a hole in his chest, similarly to the way that she did, only much bigger. The hole in his chest was the size of a katana, as he was just run through by one. The hole in her chest was the size of a kitchen knife.
Camila began to feel for the wound on her chest, and felt nothing. Had that just been a bad dream? No, it couldn't have been. The man who just attacked her family stood before her, now bloodied and likely dead. But, if the hole in her chest wasn’t there, then was she alive? Camila slowly stood up, and looked down. Before her, was her own body, laying there motionless on the floor. She stared in shock. She really had died. Her own father had just killed her. But why? What would give him a good enough reason to-
“Hey,” a voice called out to Camila, “Everything is alright now, you can rest easy.” She looked up. The man in the black robes smiled at her. She gasped. A Shinigami! A real live Shinigami just came! She began to think out loud. “Shinigami exist to help spirits, right? But, I don’t see my mom or dad anywhere.” Camila looked at the two fresh bodies on the ground, once of which she saw die, and the other she didn’t witness.
“Well, you see, kid,” The Shinigami began to say, “The man that just killed both of these two people next to you was a Quincy. They’re similar to us Shinigami, only instead of purifying hollowed souls, they destroy ‘em.” She looked at the man, confused. “Hollowed souls?” The Shinigami nodded, withdrawing his blade from the Quincy, as he fell to the ground. “Yeah. Your family seems to have a fair amount of Hollow Reiatsu inside of them. However, this seems to have affected you more than the others.” She continued to stare, still confused. “What makes you say that? You didn’t arrive in time to save my little brother, so how could you possibly know that it affected me more than anybody else?” Camila’s tone got quite aggressive here.
“Easy now, kid,” The Shinigami said, “This is how I know; Your spiritual pressure is comparable to that of mine. You’ve easily got the largest and strongest here out of everybody in your family. If it wasn’t for that, I wouldn’t have come to save you. If we’re speaking honestly here…” his voice began to trail off, “I thought you were a hollow. It was a pleasant surprise to find you instead, but I did in-fact think you were a hollow to begin with.” Camila’s face was filled with nothing but pure shock. Her? A hollow? Surely he had to be joking, right? “I don’t think It’s against any kind of rules to do this,” the Shinigami said, “So I’m going to send you to the Soul Society. In the case that anybody asks…” the Shinigami's voice began to trail off again, “...just tell them you were attacked by a massive hollow. Hopefully they’ll believe that.” Clearly, he was fairly new at his job. That much was certainly evident from their encounter.
The Shinigami walked up to Camila, and gently placed the pommel of his katana against her forehead. Suddenly, she was blinded by a large flash of light. For a good few seconds, she couldn’t see a thing. After a bit, upon regaining her vision, she was in a new, foreign place. After piecing things together, she concluded that this must’ve been the Soul Society. There was not very much of another explanation that could’ve been plausible, considering the turn of events that had just occurred.
Camila felt a hand on her shoulder. It felt cold, like it shouldn’t have been there to begin with. She quickly turned around. She felt her heart sink in her chest. The man behind her had been the very same man who had constantly tormented her for the last 16 years. The very same man who had put her through hell and back. And here he was, in the afterlife. With her. “So,” He asked, a wicked smile forming on his face…
“Did you miss me?”{CHAPTER Ⅴ}
Beginning her time in Soul Society, Camila quickly picked up the art of Jinzen upon finishing her time in the academy. Making use of it for the very first time, she had her first very real encounter with her inner hollow right from the get-go; Albin. Although coming across as disgustingly condescending, Albin had taken time to teach the girl what little he could about sword combat, in order to prepare her for the world that was to come. In time, she'd make use of those strategies as best she could in order to keep fighting no matter the situation. Through him, she even picked up skill in hand-to-hand combat, despite having no desire to actually make use of it.
Upon finishing up in the academy, Camila quickly took to her squad, and introduced herself to her captain, Ludwig Verrlicht. The two hit it off quite nicely, and got along rather well. While not much is here to say, considering their initial meeting was quite brief in nature, Camila still grew to enjoy him, seeing him as a sort of light to Albin's darkness. Hoping to get to know the rest of her squad in time, Camila spent this time trying to introduce herself to the remainder of her squad, with little receptiveness from anyone else there, including her standoffish Vice Captain at the time.
Instead, Camila found herself taking trips alone, and taking up missions without the help of her squad. One such mission, was a trip to France in order to find out the workings of a rather deranged laboratory, quickly finding herself captured and ready to be used as nutrition for the beasts it was cooking up. Thankfully, someone who she'd immediately grow to consider a lifelong friend saved her life at the time; a miss Celes Shindazu. Thanks to her help, the two managed to make it out of the lab with minimal injury.
Upon finishing up their mission in France, Celes and Camila began to take up missions together whenever able. One such mission was their trip out to Baltimore, Maryland. It was through this missions that Celes quickly learned of Camila's rather aggressive tendencies, and her hatred toward Quincy. A hatred the girl would try to calm within Camila, though to little avail. After this mission, the two girls would continue to go on to remain in each other's company every so often, becoming rather close friends in such a short time.
One fateful day, Camila had found herself out other unseated members of Squad 11 during a different mission, without Celes. Had Celes been there, things may have gone differently, but all but Camila ended up meeting a quick demise by the hands of the Octava Espada at the time; an Adolf Reinhardt. It was through this fight that, while Camila ended up battered and bruised rather severely, she'd unlocked Shikai, and merged her soul with Albin's to an almost permanent extent. They'd managed to repel the Espada, thanks to holding out long enough for backup to arrive.
Upon returning, Camila had been given some rather sour treatment due to a taint of hollow reiatsu growing within her, likely presumed from her encounter with the Espada. Unbeknownst to her, and everyone else at the time, Albin had been growing in strength, considering the girl had just unlocked her Shikai. She'd been back to doing missions on her own, and even managed to encounter another Espada at the time, and formed another lifelong friendship with that of Ailene Haschiro. The two went on to tear down a Quincy settlement, causing a rather mass amount of damage nearby.
After a short period of time had passed, and both of her friends had received promotions, leaving the girl in the dust, Camila went on to meet Ailene once more. Having now reached the position of Septima Espada, the two had an argument, and quickly resulted in a fight. Within a few short moments, with a release from both girls, the fight quickly turned into a desire for bloodshed, causing both girls to go all-out. Because of this, Camila begun to deal with her first takeover from Albin; losing her mind and body, Albin made himself known, and did what he could to make sure the girl didn't fall in combat.
Thanks to Ailene's graciousness, Camila was spared, and given a Garganta to walk back through in order to return to Soul Society. Quickly met with threats of death from Shinigami watching her emerge, Camila took shelter under Celes, now Vice Captain of Squad 10 after a transfer, and went on to ponder everything thus far. She'd been treated like garbage from most of Soul Society, let alone her entire Squad. Her captain was absent, and her Vice Captain did absolutely nothing to stop the abuse. She'd had enough. Meeting Celes outside of the Uzaki Enterprises headquarters, Camila renounced her devotion to Soul Society, and went rogue.{CHAPTER Ⅵ}
Now on her own, Camila quickly found an apartment complex in southern Karakura, and began to live what she hoped would be a normal, human life from then on out; not wanting to deal with Soul Society's bullshit. Unfortunately for her, word about her going rogue went around quite quickly, and would quickly take a turn for the worst. Her best friend Celes would find her way to Camila's doorstep, and pressure the girl into trying to come back to Soul Society. Wanting nothing more than to run away with Celes, Camila confessed romantic feelings for the girl, and was quickly shot down, with Celes not feeling the same way. Hurt, Camila engaged in combat with Celes, who made the choice to display Bankai against her, with the fight ending in a draw between the two.
Having seen Celes' Bankai, Camila felt that same drive to grow stronger, and forced Albin to allow her to unlock her own. After a brawl between the two, with both Albin and Camila beating each other into the tile of Camila's Inner World, she'd eventually unlocked her own Bankai. Having reached what she'd long consider the peak of her power, Camila had felt ready to take on whatever the world had decided to throw at her from then on out.
After having achieved her Bankai, Camila had quickly found herself in two separate fights with additional Espada; that of Beast, and that of Lagos Oscuras. Both fights had been fought incredibly fiercely from all parties involved, with both fights resulting in a takeover from Albin, and ending in a tie for all combatants involved. Nonetheless, she'd set a reputation for herself as someone able to keep up with the Espada, and began to take pride in that fact, wanting to be more like those she'd fought.
During her time in the Human World, Camila had made friends with a Hollow known as Alacrán; someone who'd later go on to help her journey astronomically. Together, the two ravished through a group of hyena hollows, led by a rather fearsome lion Adjuchas. Making relatively easy work of the two, Camila and Alacrán then bid each other adieu, later reuniting in an unexpected place.
Before that reunion, however, Camila had been hunted once more during a rather down day for her. Having returned from a rather extensive mission, her ex-captain, Ludwig, had been assigned to take the girl's life. As such, the two engaged in combat, and proceeded to enter a shouting match the moment that Camila had been pacified. Ludwig had told her that if she'd desired to fix the world, she'd have to do so from the top instead of hoping for change at the bottom; a sentiment the girl would soon take to heart.
After her fight with Ludwig, Camila later encountered the Vice Captain of Squad 7, Kaen Youji, who'd recognized her face and name as the traitor she was. Thankfully, though, neither of the two were looking for a fight, as they both simply wanted to enjoy a breakfast at a local coffee shop. After a rather pleasant conversation about the state of the world, ways Camila could get back into Soul Society, and how others were holding up, the two eventually parted ways, with Camila leaving newly set on a rather ambitious goal of her own; to ally herself with Hueco Mundo.{CHAPTER Ⅶ}
Upon following a Hollow into Hueco Mundo, Camila had quickly found herself reuniting with Alacrán in the desert sands, and reintroduced after tearing down Arrancar that had looked to kill them both. After a hollowfied freakout from Camila, and a bit of Gillian control problems from Alacrán, the two eventually managed to make it to Las Noches in one piece.
Upon arriving at Las Noches, Camila had met Ailene once more, putting the two on a much better note than before. After finishing the pleasantries and a shared cup of tea, she'd offered Camila a place to stay in Las Noches for the time being, while she sought out the goal of joining the major faction in time. The two had gone on to socialize quite a bit in the coming weeks, growing ever closer in time. For once, Camila had started to feel like she belonged.
Over time, Camila even managed to be given the invitation to attend an Espada meeting. There, she'd met up with Arcadus, Lagos, Seraph, and Rio. Quickly finding a friend in Arcadus, and being the only Espada that Camila hadn't fought, the two quickly developed a friendship that resulted in a desire from Arcadus to see what the girl was capable of. In time, the two fought, and fought fiercely. As much expected, their fight had resulted in a loss for Camila, but the fight was much, much closer than expected.
After having challenged and kept up with most of the Espada, Camila desired to seek out audience with Sonken Kouhai, the current King of Las Noches. During that conversation, Camila made it clear her desire to join Kouhai's forces, and was quickly shut down by the man for not being a full Vizard, and having taken control of her Inner Hollow. Angered by this, Camila decided to take matters into her own hands, and to prove to Kouhai, and everyone else that she was capable enough to join his army.
In turn, she challenged Kouhai's right hand, Guujin Karai, to a fight to the death. Guujin accepted, and the two were transported out to the sands of Hueco Mundo, where they engaged in combat. Acting recklessly, Camila unleashed everything she had from the get-go, and sought to tear down Guujin before the fight began. Unfortunately for her, her abilities were quickly stopped, and Guujin put an end to the girl without hesitation. Upon falling, Camila found herself immediately being dragged down into Hell. After spending a rather unprecedented amount of time down in the underworld, the girl had been brought back from seemingly nothing; through the grace of Kitai, and the assistance of her inner-now-outer-now-inner Hollow.
