Organization Name: The Sanguine Syndicate
Organization Goals: At its heart, the Sanguine Syndicate serves as a crime syndicate with a drive to make money. Though, that does beg the question; how? Naturally, there are quite a number of opportunities open to Syndicate members in order to collect some cash. The Syndicate tends to run quite a number of different enterprises, from distributing illicit substances, arms dealing, miscellaneous war profiteering, bootlegging, money laundering, and much more. Each of these enterprises is run by a number of people, as described below in Rankings.
While the organization as a whole doesn't have any desire to take over the Three Worlds or anything, the Sanguine Syndicate does aim to maintain the status quo, and keep its members wealthy and out of the legal light. Focusing on the flowing of cash more than anything else, the Syndicate remains rather simplistic in nature, albeit back that simplicity with a number of rather potent means.
Organization Founding Members: Talia Napolitano (Soldier), Sylvanas Liskasha (Associate), @arturo (Associate)
Organization Methods: Like described above, the Sanguine Syndicate has a number of different operations run by the Capo within the organization. From substance selling, to providing weapons and/or money to other people and organizations in order to fund interdimensional conflicts, you name it and the Syndicate tends to dip their toes into it as long as it's profitable. Naturally this doesn't need to be legal; in fact, most of what they tend to do is on the other side of the law.
One of the more lucrative forms of making money the Syndicate has though, is through that of loansharking. If someone or a group is in need of money? Sure, the Syndicate has them covered, no questions asked. Though, they will be expected to pay it back. Certainly more than they had originally borrowed, that's for sure. And, if they can't pay it back? Well, they'll be expected to work off that debt, even after death. If one thing remains absolute about the Syndicate, it's that they always collect.
Ranks:
- Associates - Associates serve as the lowest rank within the Syndicate, and are always Rank 1. These are folks that are indirectly associated with the organization, but still have ties to those that are within the Syndicate. They're the ones that carry out a lot of the dirty work. Serving as drivers, hitmen, those that handle deals personally, et cetera. They aren't necessarily going to be the ones that speak on the Syndicate's behalf, but more often than not are the ones that take a paycheck from the Syndicate to get things done as they please.
- Soldiers - Soldiers, or "Made Men", are those that've proven themselves as useful assets to have within the Syndicate. Soldiers hold a minimum Class requirement of 5+, and are a Rank 2 position. Soldiers are similar in duty to Associates, acting as those that carry out a lot of the hard labor within the Syndicate, but unlike Associates, Soldiers are fully-affiliated with the Syndicate. They're the ones that'll serve as public faces within the Syndicate, and will actively get preferential treatment compared to Associates. Whether they need to be bailed out, spotted a few bucks here and now, the Syndicate has them covered.
- (Not Currently Unlocked) Caporegimes - Caporegimes, or "Capo" for short, are higher-ranked individuals within the Syndicate. With a Class 3+ minimum in order to take the spot of Capo, these individuals tend to oversee Soldiers that sit at the positions below them, while also sitting at Rank 2. Those with exceptional skill and notoriety within the Syndicate (and those at least Class 2) have the opportunity to earn Rank 3. Capo are those that are singlehandedly in charge of an entire enterprise that the Syndicate runs, and report directly to the Underboss when updates are required. They're given quite a bit of freedom within the Syndicate, and are treated with respect due to the prestige they command.
- (Not Currently Unlocked) Consigliere - The Consigliere serves as the Third-In-Command within the Syndicate, and as a direct advisor to the Don. Sitting with a Class 1+ minimum, and earning Rank 4 due to their position, the Consigliere is in charge of making sure every decision the Don makes alongside them is well-informed, and in the best interest of the Syndicate. They don't hold any extreme amounts of power within the Syndicate itself, but very easily command the respect of the Syndicate as a whole, and have the option to make demands of lower-ranked members as they see fit. Much like the Underboss and the Don, only Bounts can take this position.
- (Not Currently Unlocked) Underboss - The Underboss sits as the Second-In-Command within the Syndicate, and oversee all of the Capos within the organization. Much like the Consigliere, this position holds Rank 4, and requires a minimum of Class 1. As previously stated, the Underboss is the one there to make sure every Capo is managing their own little branch properly, and serves as the one to cut those branches from the tree if they're not doing their job. They report directly to the Don, and are slated to take over the Syndicate should something happen to them. Much like the Consigliere and the Don, only Bounts can take this position.
- (Not Currently Unlocked) The Don - The head of the Syndicate and the one overseeing the entire operation, the Don is rightfully a Rank 4 position, and has a Class 1 minimum attached to it. They don't have a directly active position within the organization, and instead simply oversee the whole thing. More often than not, they tend to hold an almost mysterious position, with those lower than Capo not really having the opportunity to interact with the Don. Much like the Consigliere and the Underboss, only Bounts can take this position.
