Physical Description: Amon is a tall, well-built and broad-shouldered individual with messy medium-length brown hair and an unkempt face. When one first sees Amon, they turn away almost immediately. An uninviting expression mounts his face, intimidating those who try to come for friendly matters. His expression rests like this naturally. However, Amon does not disinvite friendly interaction. He is just used to those who want to entertain friendly relations to turn away once they get a good look at his face. It is not to say that Amon is hideous by any means. He is a traditionally handsome man, who just so happened to have the misfortune of being born with an uninviting expression naturally. The scar over his left eye also does not help with this aspect.
His back has a fairly large scar across it diagonally, covered well by the shihakusho. His chest and arms are fairly hairy, with his chest hair showing while wearing the shihakusho. Amon generally wears the uniform of the shinigami all the time. The clothing rests relaxed on his body, allowing for easy movement. He wears the traditional shihakusho well, as it showcases his musculature very well. Amon does not want to deviate from this clothing, as it allows him the easiest movement.

Karish is a shark that seems to defy the laws of physics. It is a small 2-and-a-half foot great white shark that follows Amon everywhere he goes, floating a couple fo inches above the ground at all times. It is usually sporting a confused look on it’s face as it follows. Sometimes, when Amon finally gives it attention, Karish sports a smile that can be seen lighting up the room. At times, Amon does show more care for it, holding Karish and petting it while sitting down. However, most of the time, Karish just floats next to Amon.

Dislikes:
- Unjustness: Amon grew up in the real world during a massive upheaval and war. Because of his birth, he was viewed in a different way in the world. He was disliked just for who he was, and that in turn came with the fight that he bore. Unjustness in any situation is highly bothersome, but more so when unjustness bears deadly fruit.
- Supremacy: Goes without saying, anyone that believes to be completely superior to others just based on any sort of internal, external, or biological factors is something Amon cannot agree with at all.
- Quitting: As someone who has went through pain and tribulation throughout both his life and death, he envies though that can quit on the spot the moment they are faced with tragedy. Amon vows to never give up, however.
- Bullying: Same as supremacy, but anyone that believes them to be above someone to beat them is something that Amon does not agree with.
- Central 46: Nameless faces that control and send those without luck nor prestige to fight for them. To Amon, this sounds like a form of supremacy that he could not agree with.
Likes:
- Good food: Nothing satiates him more then the source of hunger quenching: a good meal.
- Karish: His loyal companion. While Amon does not show too much affection, he does love his companion a lot.
- Fighting: Whether it be fighting for a battle, or fighting for your rights (to partaayyyy lmao jkjk), Amon enjoys the battle. A warrior at heart, he enjoys the thrill of learning battle.
- Kenjutsu: When he was a soldier, he learned hand-to-hand combat. However, the training he underwent as a shinigami in the academy made him enjoy fighting with weapons.
Flaws:
- Being Cold: Amon is naturally a cold individual. Because of his haphazard life, he relies on Karish as a friend, as well as his own battle prowess. Making new friends is hard when he feels that they could betray him at any moment.
- Lack of Emotion: It's not to say that Amon lacks emotion. Rather, he is someone who holds many emotions tightly to his chest (or rather, some of his happier emotions... ended up in Karish). As such, he does not display emotion at times unless the situation is dire enough to do so.
- Attention Difficulty: Amon, in low pressure situations, cannot seem to keep his attention at one thing at one moment. Talking to him while he is in a state where he is susceptible to losing attention means you are sometimes talking to a brick wall. However, sometimes, he is able to still listen to what is being said, but it could take him a second to understand and formulate a response.
Habits:
- Mindless Nail-biting: Usually the cause of an iron deficiency, in Amon's case it is a process that occurs when he is deep in thought.
- Talking to himself: Usually in deep thought, Amon talks to himself to sort his mind's thoughts out. He mutters to himself and it looks like he is crazy, but it is just a way for him to think clearly

- Hunger: Of the ways to die, this one was the worst. The days Amon spent hungry on the battlefield were the worst.
- Withering of time: Also related to hunger, but the length of time it takes to die while being stabbed by pangs of hunger as his body consumes his life energy. A feeling Amon never wishes to feel again.
Goals:
- Satiation: To satiate the hunger that still resides within him. Whether it be through strength, or through battle. Amon wants to figure out anyway to calm the feeling within him.
- Karish: Learn more about his companion that appeared next to him one day.
- Strength: As cliche as it sounds, Amon enjoys getting stronger. The captain-commander spot seems like something that would fill the hole that is within him.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Overall Personality: Amon is a stoic man. He is unflinching in his day-to-day tasks, and while he does feel joy at times, it is hard for him to be more than unmoving at most moments. He does his work without any fuss. Amon does try his best, but inside he is a man boiling with a fire to continue training and grow stronger. While he is a merely unseated shinigami, his will to become strong burns everyday... or rather, his will to satiate himself burns everyday. However, it is not to say that Amon is unfriendly. Amon does enjoy meeting new people and making friends, but because of his lack of certain emotions, he finds it hard to encounter and create those situations naturally. Of course, he does have the help of his companion, Karish, who does make it easy to meet new people since everyone is so interested about a floating baby shark.
Amon is also someone who enjoys solitude. While he does go to crowded areas often to see if maybe he can meet new people, he does spend some time by himself and his thoughts (and Karish, of course). He needs this time to re-balance his inner self, as he fights a lot of negativity that grows from within. Amon does not tend to explode or let loose a lot of feelings, but his personality shows a bit more in battle. He seems to lightly smile as he throws sword and fist. He may seem like a battle-hungry maniac, but in fact the thrill of the fight satiates him bit by bit. While it seems like the hunger deters him from being normal, per se, it just adds to his personality. While some things don't really faze him in terms of socializing normally, as he is still able to carry a normal conversation, his true passion comes out when he talks about things he enjoys, like fighting, or some sort of food or drink he enjoys.
Karish, however, is on the complete opposite end of the personality spectrum. A little jovial shark, Karish enjoys "meeting" new people by nudging himself into them so they pet him. You can see his smile and his light sounds as he gets pat. He then tries to force Amon to meet new people, but it doesn't work too well, especially with his face and expression. Karish also shows a lot more expression then Amon, showing frustration, sadness, fear, and all sorts of emotions. His more expressive way, of course, brings the balance to the relationship the two have.

Fighting Style:
Amon's fighting style is beast-like in form. He is ferocious and employs traditional and non-traditional techniques to fight. His vast experience in battle, coupled with his hunger for survive, allows him to creatively combine all that he has learned from life and death as both a human soldier and a shinigami warrior. While he is still learning Zanjutsu, he has created somewhat of his own style for now. Amon is in his shinigami formative years, so he is still learning to harness this new fighting style, and he feels as if every day he is closer to mastering this fight style he is creating. Amon is a better duelist then a sniper, excelling in the range of battle in which swords clash. With his ability to "trigger" his Memory Loss stacks in Shikai form, he fights by rendering his opponent unable to move certain parts of their body, then targeting that part that can't move. While this may seem like fighting dirty, to Amon, he wants to face someone who can fight without rules. This provides the thrill he looks for in battle, as the danger increases the closer he gets to someone to make their move.
Because of how he grew up in both living and death, he fights voraciously. It almost seems as if a tamed wild beast fights with the way he charges in and attacks. While he rarely uses Hado, he is still able to use it pretty proficiently. Amon tries to employ all he can in a battle, as the greatest honor is to live on from battle, having seen so much atrocity already. His hoho is his other form of mastery, besides zanjutsu. Because hoho is the most needed when fighting in close combat, Amon has tried his best to master the hoho abilities to help himself in these short range situations. Most of Amon's strategy relies on close range combat, hoping to disrupt a person's rhythm.
When Amon fights, he tries attacking in ways that really put someone off-balance. Either by attacking in blind spots, or by utilizing various flows of arrhythmic battle to really knock someone off balance. This fighting style circles back to his beast-like state during battle. With the strategy to knock someone off their battle rhythm, Amon employs as much as he can to accomplish this strategy. Like a ferocious shark, he keeps attacking until his opponent can no longer take it.
Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance:
A large ferocious beast with an unfathomable body. It is a massive shark-dragon, by the name of Livyatan. When one first looks upon the spirit, they just are entranced by the sheer size of the spirit. It seems as if it goes on forever in the Inner World space, seemingly both seeming too small and too large for the area they are in.

Shikai Release:Livyatan, Devour!
Bankai Release:Sevea Tohu Ve-Vohu, Melech Livyatan! (translates pretty roughly to: Satiate the Void, King Leviathan!)
Shikai Overall Ability: Levyatan is a water-type shikai with the ability to consume. What this entails is that whenever the shikai blade hits something, it consumes the mass of that object, whether it be a part of the body or the zanpakato. What occurs next is that the consumed mass is added on to the mass of the shikai, making it heavier in the space that it is in. As a battle rages on, the shikai's ability becomes stronger. Meaning in a drawn-out fight, Amon would have the advantage. As the opponent's mass gets added on to the shikai, the sword stats becoming more and more covered in ocean-shadow-like reiatsu. Once it reaches "max" Mass Attack Stacks, the shikai has reached the limit as to what it can consume from the opponent. The sword is now completely covered by the ocean-shadow-like reiatsu.
Systematically, this means that as the fight goes on, the sword becomes increasingly heavier in its attacks. For every attack that hits or gets blocked, the sword gains a Mass Stack. This Mass Stack makes it so that the sword can add +20% Offensive Stat to its attack OR defense (not to the stat, but to the attack itself. In terms of defense, separate rules apply, as seen below). So an attack with this sword would get treated as having +20% Offensive Stat if it has 1 Mass Stack. This caps out at +200% Offensive Stat. If the attack misses, it can create craters or shockwaves when swung and missed. However, if a Mass Stack were to be added to the missed swing, then that Mass Stack would disappear.
Conversely, the mass stacks can be added to defense as well. Every mass stack adds +10% Offensive stat defensively. If the Mass Stacks are converted defensively, then they give the ability for attacks that are aimed at Amon to slightly veer of course. If Amon has decided to use defensive Mass Stacks, then an opponent's attacks with a lower OS of the combined offensive stat and the bonus mass stack of Amon's will miss.
This DOES NOT mean that it cannot be resisted. If the opponent has a higher Offensive Stat then Amon, then they reduce the Mass Stack's positive boost to only +10% Offensive Stat. If the opponent has 1.5x Offensive Stat then Amon, the stacks only go up to +5%. If the opponent has double Amon's OS, then it is +0% OS.
Amon can only have 10 Mass Stacks at any point in shikai, and the choice of offensive or defensive carry over to the next Amon post in battle. If Amon never uses a stack, it never goes down. However, any time Amon uses a Mass Stack, the counter goes down by one. If the attack misses, the counter still goes down by one.
If there are more then one person in battle, the amount of mass stacks do not add up additively. So each person will have their own Mass Stack counter (that I'll be keeping track of) and Amon will only have the max amount of Mass stacks he has accumulated on on opponent at one time. So if someone has 3, and another person has 1, then Amon has 3 mass stacks to use (on either person). HOWEVER, if he uses all 3 Mass Stacks on an attack, he still has 1 mass stack available from the other opponent that he is fighting.

Amon raises his weapon to the clouds and then slices downward, seemingly causing an area 100 feet directly in front of the slash to collapse into itself. All who are within 20 feet of this attack get sucked into the implosion, which then violently explodes outward (if the initial attack did not hit). This downward slash happens incredibly fast, as if the slash traveled through space to complete the attack.
COST: 100 Reiatsu
Weakness: If the opponent has a higher Offensive Stat then Amon, then they reduce the Mass Stack's positive boost to only +10% Offensive Stat. If the opponent has 1.5x Offensive Stat then Amon, the stacks only go up to +5%. If the opponent has double Amon's OS, then it is +0% OS.

Amon swings his sword in a circular motion around him. This unleashes a dark blast that radiates outwards in a sphere around Amon, but stops about 10 feet away from him. The more Mass Stacks there are on Amon, the more damaging this ability is, and the more the opponent will get pushed back. For every stack, the ability is treated as having +20% Offensive Stat. For every stack, the opponent gets pushed back +5 feet.
This ability can be utilized as both offensive and defensive. Amon can use this reactively as long as he is not bound.
Cost: 400 Reiatsu + # Mass Stack
Weakness: The damage gets reduced if they are further then 10 feet from Amon. If the opponent has a higher Offensive Stat then Amon, then they reduce the Mass Stack's positive boost to only +10% Offensive Stat. If the opponent has 1.5x Offensive Stat then Amon, the stacks only go up to +5%. If the opponent has double Amon's OS, then it is +0% OS.
If Amon is bound in any way, the distance someone gets pushed back is reduced to 5 feet, and they take no damage.
Hatzofah
Amon runs his finger across the spine of his zanpakato, and the water-shadow reiatsu transfers to his finger instead. This instantly decreases all the stacks that Amon has to 0. However, all the gathered Mass Stacks can now be used on one Non-Release technique. This can only be used on a Kido, such as a Kaido, Bakudo, or a Hado. This transfers the aforementioned ability of the shikai to the Kido.
This raises the strength of the Kido by 1 Class, to a max of Class 1.

When Amon yells out the words to activate his bankai, the immediate area around him warps as his Reiatsu pours outwards in a sphere 300 feet in diameter. Everything turns completely dark, as if the light has finally been sucked away and disappears. All of a sudden, the Reiatsu in the area becomes more and more absent, as if the zone around Amon has become "starved" of Reiatsu. Not only that, the entirety of the power seemed to transfer into the zanpakuto, transforming it into a massive great sword that seems to be the center of the reiatsu area. This area extends to a sphere of about a 500 foot diameter, with Amon in the center. As Amon moves, so does the center.
In this zone, all techniques cost +25% more reiatsu. Additionally, the sphere constantly siphon's stacks of mass from opponents within the sphere. For each post this Bankai is up, the sphere siphons 2 Mass Stacks per opponent per post passively. The Mass Stacks change as well. Each Mass Stack is now worth +50% Offensive stat, and a max total of 20 Mass Stacks can be banked. This is still limited by the 3x cap.
If there are more then one person in battle, the amount of mass stacks do not add up additively. So each person will have their own Mass Stack counter (that I'll be keeping track of) and Amon will only have the max amount of Mass stacks he has accumulated on on opponent at one time. So if someone has 3, and another person has 1, then Amon has 3 mass stacks to use (on either person). Melech HaOlam
Any person who is inside the massive bankai immediately will feel the effects of the voracious being that resides within. All of the opponent's Reiatsu-based release and non-release techniques cost an additional 25% more reiatsu. For every round that this is available, it increases the amount of passive Mass Stacks gained as 1 per post that it is active, bringing the passive Mass Stack gain to 3 per post.
Cost: 300 Reiatsu per round
Weakness: Strength of Will with at least a 2 will reduce the increase in Reaitsu costs to 10%. Strength of Will 3 will negate the reaitsu cost increase all together. If this is not met, then this can only be resisted if the opponent spends 300 reiatsu per round to resist the reaitsu cost decrease
Swallowing the Universe
Amon swings his massive great sword in an arc around him, releasing 10 mini-black holes about the size of Amon around the area. All these black holes distort the space in the area they occupy, as well as the space around them up to 30 feet.
They can also be used to distort trajectory of any movement or attack in the vicinity.
They can also be used as kido. These black holes are all equal to 200 Reiatsu each, and can be used in conjunction with the base reiatsu cost to reduce the initial cost of the kido. This can increase the class rank of the Kido by +2 classes, up to Class 1. This cannot reduce the cost of Kido below 0, and a maximum of 2 black hole can be used per kido per post.
Cost: 400 Reiatsu initially, 200 per post, and 200 Reiatsu per black hole to restore any black holes that were used.
Weakness: Any opponent with a 3 in Strength of Will can bypass the distortions up to 5 feet close to the black hole. Any Opponent with a base Offensive Stat greater then 2x Amon's Offensive stat can power through the distortions, allowing them to attack Amon with no change in direction. An opponent can also spend twice the base Reiatsu cost of a release or non-release technique to "load it up" with more reiatsu to bypass the distortions.
Genesis
For there to be light, there needs to be some sort of energy. This technique occurs when Amon starts utilizing all the reaitsu that has been devoured by his spirit within the sphere. He voraciously hungers for more- something that can only be provided by the opponent's life force.
The way this works is that for the opponent's next attack, the opponent's Offensive Stat becomes directly correlated to their remaining Reiatsu up to 25% of their Offensive stat. For every 5% opponent's reiatsu pool that is missing, their next attack has it's OS reduced by 5%, up to a maximum of 75% reduction, and the power of Amon's next attack is increased by the same amount.
Cost: 300 reiatsu
Weakness: Any opponent with a 3 in Strength of Will can resist Genesis so that is only half as effective (2 to 1 reiatsu pool to Offensive stat decrease, so can only decrease to 50% Offensive stat). Otherwise, the opponent will need to spend double the Reiatsu cost of a release or non-release technique to bypass the Offensive Stat decrease.

Memorable Figures: None. This is due to the fact that the feeling of admiration went to Karish instead of Amon.
History:
Amon was born in the ghetto of Warsaw, Poland in the 1920s. His parents were both poor, but he lived a meaningful life. He was able to learn and enjoy his time in the meager environment. As he grew older, he started recognizing how sentiment in his area was turning worse and worse towards his people. The food that was brought to the table by his parents became less, and less. They barely had enough food to feed themselves, and with a child added to the mix, there was barely enough food to go around. Amon felt hungry, but it was something he was able to counteract by just being a happy kid. Of course, around his formative teenage years was when the rounding up and the war started. His family was unlucky to be taken first. They were stuffed into trains, marked with numbers, and sent to the camps.
This camp was awful. Starved, forced to work for nothing, and then killed was his life path at this point. Amon was lucky, in a way. He was forced to work in the camp. However, he never saw his parents again. For years, he cultivated a working habit then caused the Nazi that held him to use him for everything. He was a workhorse, and he figured out that this was his way to survive in this hell environment. Years have passed, and the camp he was in relied on his workmanship. However, this all changed soon as he was rescued by soldiers who were the Nazi enemies. He was happy. Yet, he was a young man now, with no strength left besides his will. He was brought to army camps, where he heard of a country that was being created for people like him. He didn't know anything of the politics of this area, he just wanted to live in peace. Amon went to this new country. He thought this would finally be the time he could settle down and not worry about the outside world, merely wanting to curb the hunger that grew from living in the ghetto, then living in the camp for most of his life. Amon thought that this was finally it... until the wars started again. This time, with enemies who wanted to kick him out of this country that granted him peace of mind. He immediately joined the front lines. He had no education to help with strategy, but he did have one thing that granted him life for so long: his will to survive. As Amon ventured out into the desert to fight for this newly created country, he fought battle after battle, hoping to survive so he may see the end.
Sadly, this was not to happen. Amon was injured badly in a location his allies could not get to him. Sadly, he was forgotten out in the desert, falling victim to bad planning, as well as just merely being a presence that was unaccounted for. Amon starved for days out in the desert, not being able to find anything to eat to recover his vitals, as well as not being able to take care of his wounds. As he was slowly faltering, his will to survive slowly sading, he just remembered one thing: how hungry he was as he closed his eyes for the last time. Of course, Amon never knew that there was going to be more to his soul's cycle. After being discovered by a wandering shinigami in the desert, he found his way to Rukongai. Sadly, the ticket he was given led him to the worst district, the 80th district in South Rukongai. There he was once again beholden to the feeling of hunger. It was strange. He never thought that as a soul, he would be hungry agian. But something inside him, his will to survive, seemed to birth a new power. However, without any way to give sustenance to this power, he was fading away in the crime-infested 80th district.
He started losing his energy, but his will to survive was strong. Amon never made friends since he was concentrating on surviving. But his thoughts brought him peace. The thought of surviving, of trying to finally get some peace of mind. He started resorting to stealing, and he soon found a way to manage his hunger. But yet, it was never enough. It still lingered there, the feeling of hunger that he had. At times he was suffering, but after several years passed of this feeling of hunger, something occurred. One night he dreamt of a swelling power that never subsided, but something he could not control. Amon did not know what this power was, but he felt it splinter off, as this enabled him some control over himself. When Amon woke, feeling more refreshed then usual, he felt... different. And he also felt like he wasn't alone. Amon looked down and saw something he never really ever imagined could be real. A floating... baby... shark? It was... incredibly adorable and it also felt... so familiar to Amon.
It was at this moment that Amon did not feel as hungry. It was a miracle. He finally had enough energy to ask what was going on with him, and luckily, someone told him that he was developing shinigami powers that could be used to escape poverty. Amon finally felt some peace come to him, but he did not feel the emotion of happiness. It was strange. However, his new friend, who he aptly named Karish, seemed very joyous by this development. His soul then went on a whirlwind path, becoming recruited to attend the Shinigami academy, and finally graduating. He was a new shinigami of the Third Division. And he had one mission in mind: to attain a level of strength so that he may no longer feel the hunger that ravaged him for most of his life. Amon knew that the one way to appease his hunger was his desire for battle. And through that, he wanted to get stronger.
