Story line: Your normal hunting grounds have been coming up duds , no sighns of people untill now...in this remote village scuff marks and a small trail of blood and footsteps out into the snow. Is your hunger worth the danger that comes with filling your gullet?
Special Conditions: For the sake of Time , it is asked that those participating respond in a timely fashion. Should thier be a delay all that is asked is that there be a line dropped to inform the others.

Corruption roils

(1) The whistling of the cold night air would fill the ears of any who would be foolish enough to be out on this night, threatening to steal the warmth from their breast and leave them naught but a frozen corpse buried beneath the snow. Hollows and all their brethren that would feed upon man had seemingly grown restless across the world.

(2) not for lack of prey but for the sheer fact that it seemed like the prey worth easting had simply up and vanished is vast swath's , area where there where once high concentrations of spiritually aware beings had seemingly been slowly emptied out over time.

(3) For those who would investigate they would find a simple symbol carved upon the walls of each home , some being met with this symbol as thier prey simply eluded them at the last moment. the meal they had stalked for days , or hunted and cornered snatched from thier jaws by an unseen force.


(4) everywhere this symbol had appeared people had simply vanished that was before tonight , a lone home stood open to the alskan winds. The lights within the house where out the front door wide open , a deep red liquid that was almost black clung to the doorway frozen in place. The smell of rot hanging in heavy in the air near the door ready to assault the senses of any would dare approach the daunting door of this hold of shadows within this empty village of lights.

Astrid was taking the time to yet again produce her Lasabrjotur sigil, aka the world teleportation sigil. She'd felt like she'd been watched the last couple times she'd gone out to the human world. It'd been a month or so since Manila and she was just poking her head around in the human world so see what other environments existed. Food had become a less important reason to consume and though she steadily grew hungrier by the day she just wasn't willing to eat the pathetic souls of the humans she spotted on the typical. Still, that didn't mean she hadn't caught the scent of a few worthwhile souls, something that while she, surprisingly, could have resisted, didn't. These were humans that actually had power. Real actually potent abilities. . . if her chicks were to be believed.



She still considered the fact that the chicks were lying to her. Namely because as far as her memories were concerned, humans really shouldn't have been anything worth a damn. The spirits of those she'd consumed or gained via her horde showed that they were effectively nothing. Just souls that would inevitably get horribly warped by her inner world and turn into the wisps. So why the chicks continued to ping Astrid about humans and their surprisingly capable souls was a bit of a mystery. What was not a mystery however was that she had yet to nab one. The chicks would point her in a direction, she'd follow, and then she'd try to follow them. Sometimes she'd lose them, sometimes she wouldn't. However, what she did find was always the same. Some black goop. A sign somewhere. And blood. Though, it smelled different and thus didn't come off as human blood.



At least as far as she was concerned anyway. But with spiritually potent beings that could be different. She'd never really taken the time to be concerned with the specifics of blood from different races nor the blood of spiritual potent vs normal humans. However tonight she was going to find herself something worthwhile. Something that she'd like to eat, if only because now she was finally getting hungry enough to actually go eat something. Tonight, she'd actually go consume something, even if it was meager. At least that was the goal for her, she'd soon find out that her plans were going to go up in smoke. When she finished her sigil and chose the human world that's when things went to shit.



It started out fine as she stepped on the sigil and reappeared in the human world. Granted it was FAR colder than she'd have preferred. The forest was typically warm and humid so cold and wet wasn't exactly something she was fond of or familiar with. Still, she could make do, her physique was far more resilient if only because of the shit she'd gone through in Hell. With her initial growling and mental lamenting aside, she immediately drew from within herself five baby draconic hollows, or chicks as she'd called them. They bloomed from the white sakura flowers on her tree and took shape once the petals blew off and collected around her. Once created a couple took a seat on her shoulders while the other three hovered around her and sensed out the area.



Wherever she was, it didn't look like most people decided to live around the area. Not that she could blame them. It was fucking cold. Still, she was here to eat, and she wasn't going to back out yet. Her chicks using their ES quickly searched the area and found something with a decent amount of reiatsu involved. Astrid smiled and quickly drew three teleportation sigils. This time, her meals wouldn't be lost. One sigil went inside her chest cavity. Another went on the back of her right hand, and the last grew in size until it was 3 feet in diameter and hovering before her. She then stepped on it and had her chicks all perch on her so that they could all be taken as quickly as possible to their new destination.



It took the chicks a moment to lock down where exactly the reiatsu was coming from. But once they did Astrid motioned for the sigil to move in the direction the chicks pointed towards. It took all but two minutes to reach some cabin in the woods. Though unlike what she'd spied on the way it was dark, the door was open, and something had clearly gone down with regards to it. Namely because of all the places to smell something, this was not the place she'd have expected it. Especially not something she was familiar with. There was the smell of death, but the smell of rotting flesh and bodily fluids was not normal in the human world. Well normal as far as Astrid could figure out. To her it was a perfectly normal smell, but given she lived in Hell. . . that could be skewed.



Still if nothing else Astrid was not concerned. Not for herself anyway. She had her spirits, and she was more than willing and capable of eating rotting flesh. Hell, she'd done so already. But. . . it'd need to be worth it as rot wasn't exactly a pleasant taste. Too bitter and stringy. Not to mention the stomach aches she got from them. Almost never worth it honestly. But with that said she stepped off the sigil with her chicks now flying around her. The sigil then shrunk and moved onto the backside of her left hand, and she slowly started to walk her way forward into the cabin. So long as her chicks were actively keeping an eye on the area around her, she should be fine.

is the corner stone of being lazy

It opens doors to make life easier

(1) The smell of rot polluted the nostrils of the neon-haired Arrancar, the entire town was swollen with it the one thing that really irked Marik was the fact he couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the smell. And it was beginning to irk his very being.

(2) 'where is that damn smell coming from?!' he would think to himself with a scowl etched upon his normally relaxed and unimpressed visage. And all this white cold and wet shit on the ground was starting to really piss him off , Hueco Mundo had white shit to it was called sand and it wasn't half as annoying as this fluffy shit.

(3) "I'm gonna have to go sleep on a beach for hours after this" he would mumble under his breath a hint of venom in his tone, it now appeared that he had a brand new hate in the world right under shitty beds SNOW! whoever invented this shit to Marik your moms a hoe.

(4) Pulling his arms into his shirt he would hug his arms to his torso , in an attempt to conserve body heat as he stumbled about in the snow. In truth he could simply blast a hole in a home with a bala and take refuge but seeing as he wasn't in immediate danger he couldn't be bothered to try to do so.

(5) Marik would stop abruptly his scowl fading slightly as he felt something dancing on the edges of his sense's , something familiar. He couldn't place it exactly but the sensation he was feeling , it was there when he reached the pinnacle a day that felt like a fever dream.

(6) "well only one way to find out.." he would mumble to himself as he slowly began his journey twoard the other power in the small village. He would make an effort to smother his spiritual pressure as at the time she had ported away from him when he had become a vast lorde.

(7) The sound of snow crunching beneath his feet would be his only companion , the sound of the cold wind whistling through the air against hsi ears was a comfort. Not bothering with sonido he would take his time traveling the mortal the way and simply strolling his way to his location.

(1) As Astrid steps into the room her senses are flooded with the scent of rot and decay , though there is blood about the floor that leads along the door frame it leads outside the house into the snowy beyond. What Astrid would be able to see was a rather clean and orderly front room , specs of blood littering the floors and walls here and there.

(2) The symbol of an eclipsing sun would be burned into the wall above the couch , the words "She who craves knowledge shall save us all" similarly scorched into the wall beneath the eclipsed sun. The calling card that Astrid should be all to familiar with. (only happens if she opens the fridge)

(3) Should she explore the rest of the house she would find that the house was in a spic and span order , but when she came to the kitchen there would be an eerie air about it the pale light from the fridge. Should she open it she would find the pickled brains of humans , and various heads and hollow body parts in jars. (10 human brains , 5 hollow heads and one Quincy head appears to have shreds of a uniform in the jar)

(4) should she look beyond that there would be an all consuming blackness within the back of the fridge , a chillingly cold air would wash over her. The smell of death heavy in the air and beyond that many spiritual pressures should be sensed further within the darkness feint but they're there.

(5) Should she look up along the ceiling she would find an attic access door , that she would need to reach up and pull down. Should she decide to explore she would be surrounded by darkness and find a single alter at the end of the attic , an ephigy of a female like aberration stood surrounded by candles.

As Astrid and her chicks walked in, the smell got a significantly stronger. Unlike most beings who'd be horribly concerned, Astrid almost felt more at ease with the stench. It genuinely reminded her of the Suicide Forest and the bodies that were partially eaten, bleeding out, dropping organs, etc. The works in all the worst ways. Still, it made her smile some, a malicious and honestly hungry smile, but a smile, nonetheless. She then took in a deep breath and realized the smell had a bit more going on with it. It was. . . acidic? Pungent was definitely the right word for it but the specifics Astrid couldn't say as she'd never actually tasted or smelled something being pickled before. This caught her curiosity more so than anything else in the room.



Though for the sake of being at least moderately careful about her current existence in the human world she glanced around the room. Clean for the most part, barring the blood. The marking again though this time there were words. Or in her mind, scribbles. She rolled her eyes immediately unconcerned with the text, that she couldn't read mind you, and the symbol. However, she did spy an entrance to the attic. And that did make her hum from curiosity. The only issue at hand was that it was closed. Granted that could easily be addressed. Still before she could begin to think, her stomach decided to make itself known again. She was here for a reason after all. This made her nod to herself as she decided that her stomach was on the right track. Food first, then discover other things.



Thus, Astrid decided to split up her pack of spirits by sending two chicks upstairs and keeping the remaining three chicks with her. With a gesture to the attic door Astrid growled out to her chicks. "Blast it. Look around, then come back." The chicks chirped in understanding, and both immediately charged up and fired a bala at the door to the attic, blasting it apart almost instantly. The house shook for a moment after though that didn't stop Astrid from walking with her remaining chicks into the kitchen. Had her hunger not compelled her, she would have been damn near bored at this point. The house clearly had something happen to it, but Astrid couldn't care less about its former inhabitants. Let alone if it "spelled her doom". Literally nothing as far as she knew could truly kill her, so why bother being concerned?



Speaking of warranted concern that was ignored, she focused her attention onto the fridge. The smell in the kitchen significantly stronger and now far more easily detectable from its source. The refrigerator. She smiled again as that pungent acidic smell of the pickling juice mixed in with the smell of death. Her mouth watered as sweet sap started to flow out. With a quick disregard for anything else she found what she was looking for. Brains of humans, hollows, and a full head of another human were before her. She immediately reached out for the first human brain and had a chick blast the lid off with a very weak bala. From there she reached inside and ripped out the brain and consumed it wholesale. It was. . . interesting to say the least. Salty, vinegar heavy, and surprisingly moist. In a way that fresh brains didn't exactly give off. This thing had really sucked up whatever was in the juice.



Still the taste didn't last that long as Astrid chewed a few bites and then swallowed. She couldn't tell how she felt about it given how strange it was. Thus, she grabbed a few more jars, had the chicks blast off the tops, then took a jar for herself and had the chicks with her try them. Needless to say, even after the second round of brains for everyone, they were all uncertain of how to feel about it. It wasn't BAD but that's because it wasn't rotting. It was just so . . . strange that none of them could really decide how they felt about it. With that uncertainty in mind and a stomach that still hungered for more Astrid ultimately decided that she'd just go about eating all of them. No point in wasting them when no one was around to stop her. Buuuut just in case someone came back Astrid decided she'd summon a few more spirits to her beck and call.



Reaching within she drew out a collection of 4 flaming skeletal humanoids complete in armor and shields. In addition, she brought out her canine companion for good measure. Once the petals bloomed, blew away their petals, and then reformed the bodies of the spirits she gave them a quick order. "One of you go to the front and back of this place. Another go checks on the chicks above and the last one stay with him and keep watch. I don't want to be attacked while eating." The saika siblings nodded with one going to the backdoor, another going to the front door, one using air ground to walk their way up to the attic, and the last one sat at a nearby table while the canine hollow sat next to Astrid and shifted its head and eyes around the room. Meanwhile Astrid and her three chicks continued eating the pickled brains and body parts while time allowed.



Speaking of the attic and its chicks however flew up with ease, though the hole they produced and started to look around. Sadly, they couldn't see much and thus one charged up a bala for light without letting it go. The light was a dull deep red, but it still provided some light as opposed to nothing. It seemed like there was some stuff around but nothing of value was seen up until the saika sibling walked up. The chicks almost screeched upon seeing it but then realized that it was an ally. Thankfully the ally was clothed in flames that could light the area around and ended up bringing some light to the altar. The chicks and the saika spirits looked at one another and tilted their heads. Wordlessly asking what it was. None present had any idea so the saika simply picked up the idol and decided to bring it back down to Astrid. With the only object of note collected, they began to make their way downstairs.

It opens doors to make life easier

(1) Silence was marik's only company as he traveled along the streets , the smell of decay clouding his mind. He couldn't seem to form any sort of coherent thought the smell was just so damn oppressive. 'what the hell is rotting!?' he would think to himself his left eye beginning to twitch slightly.

(2) He would be keeping tab's  on astri'ds spiritual pressure , it felt like she was either on guard or in the middle of a fight.  'so i could just ignore it and save myself the trouble...but if im a betting man that's probably where i'll find some easy shelter' he thought to himself as he walked.

(3) With a light sigh he wouod continue on his way , making his way along the back alley's no longer feeling safe in this town of rot and decay. The flickering street lights and the cold slick ground beneath his shoes was no comfort as he traveled.

(4) Marik had come here to escape the savageness of hueco mundo for only a bit , and now he felt as if he where trapped in someone or something's web. "this town is giving me the fucking creeps" he would mumble to himself as he continued walking.

(5) Taking a moment to exapand his senses he would he take notice of several weaker spiritual pressures ,  slowly traversing underground. He would pause for a moment looking down at the grown with a curious frown. "are they beneath me?" a good question but without the energy to act on it he kept moving

(6) Marik's Question would go unanswered as he stalked foward though he was making an effort to hide himself sense wise , he figured the blizzard would hide him well enough from anything he didn't wish to encounter. he had never considered that the snow would be used against him , short sited thinking and may come back to bite him.

(1) As the Hasin spirit known as astrid began to explore the house via her spirits , things would begin taking a turn for both her and the arrancar outside in the cold. Fortifying the home was an exleent idea she had covered all her bases say one very vital place , so enraptured by her own gluttony that she failed to notice the darkness at the back of the fridge where the containers back should be was instead replaced by a tunnel.

(2) Then again who could blame the poor dear , raised by hollows she probably never saw that darkness as odd. But the creature had been watching her eat lured by the release of such opulant spirit energy , it's body as clear as glass as casually crawled atop the shelf as astrid withdrew the jar and proceeded to use a weak bala to open it's contents.

(3) Rage filled the creature as it lept foward claws extended silently , it's arms poising it's claws twoard the left part of astrid face. One claw very intent on slashing out that glowing orb this creature called an eye , upon contact the vile abomination would be revealed to astrid.

(4) A crude oil seeped from it claws , that would sizzle loudly upon contact causing mild necrosis to the slashed area and eye. Marik on the other hand would be suffering a very similar fate as a similar creature had been following him for some time. Stalking him from a mere five feet away the entire time.

(5) With a mighty leap it would launch itself at the neon green haired arrancars head , bursting forth from the snow that rose above it's shoulders. Aiming for the ride side of his face attempting to take out his eye and slash his face up in the process maybe even take out the other eye~

(6)Also due to astrid eating the heads and brains , it should be noted you now have a flood of memories entering your mind. Being unable to sort through them willfully at the moment , youd be getting scraps and bits of their life and the way's they died and seeing as they where dismembered i leave that to the imagination.

Astrid was minding her own business, eating the ever so odd and ever so generously left human brain from the fridge. She'd at this point managed to eat at least 3 of them wholesale by herself. She noticed a growing nagging sensation in her skull. Deep inside her skull. The chicks who were currently horking down their second brain each were unaffected. In fact, the more they ate, the more she felt a growing sensation that just refused to stop. Astrid wasn't terribly smart though and didn't quite get that the reason she was starting to get this odd sensation, almost a headache at this point was namely because of the brains she and her cohorts were eating. Mind you, even if she did catch onto that sooner, this would not have stopped her from consuming them even still.


However, by the time the chicks finished eating their second brain each the headache had grown and she was finally starting to fade a little into her mind. The world around her changed some to fragmented scenes. Some looked like the cabin but at a less bloody time. Others looked like a personal house. Another a lake hidden in-between some mountains that she only just now felt like she recognized. Every time she blinked the world's fragments changed. Yet after a couple blinks they all suddenly went dark. Sometimes because it was the night. Other times because she was now in a dark room. One of which showcased the kitchen specifically. She would get horribly interrupted however by arguably the worst pain she'd experienced in a while.


Not to mention accompanied by a sound she hadn't heard in a very long time. A simple "plop" that was accompanied by a rip and tearing sound and then pain blossoming in the centermost eye of her left set of 3. While her hand immediately shot up to her eye and held onto it for a moment her energy flared up drastically. Especially with the added pain that came from the sizzling feeling of her flesh being burnt away only to then be coated by golden sap. This same energy however made certain that the little entity that had struck Astrid while she was distracted by the memory rush was utterly down for the count. Namely because, yet again, on accident Astrid had induced cutback. Her energy damn near shredding the creature who slashed out her eye. Its wounds ensured each front arm was eviscerated and utterly unusable. The torso severely cut through, showing even its ribcage had been cut through in certain spots. Meanwhile its waist and the top of its legs were cut deep enough to ensure any tendons present were now separated.


Though this all occurred in the span of moments it was a lot to take in. And it had the little twerp of an entity that had sneak attacked Astrid pinned down via the canine who was next to her. The poor thing was so battered though that it never stood a chance of getting up. Astrid in the meantime having been brought back to reality stumbled just a bit before eventually narrowing the other 5 eyes at the little shitstain of a creature that decided it had the fucking GALL to attack her while eating. The other brains were utterly forgotten about as Astrid moved her canine out of the way while growling loudly. Her vines wriggling dangerously and constantly as she couldn't believe that THIS THING had gotten the drop on her. She was furious. Even more so for this thing having INTERRUPTED her meal.


She was breathing heavily both from the pain and from her anger rising up immensely. Marik and others nearby would have absolutely no issue sensing Astrid as she flared her reiatsu without even thinking about it and it was a lot. She was going to deal with this insect in a moment. No scratch that she'd deal with it NOW. There was no waiting. Especially not if it had friends that were going to come sooner than later because they too were hiding somewhere. Astrid immediately bent down and grabbed the creature and started torturing it. Twisting its already broken and battered limbs in horrible ways. Hell, the legs while harder were made into pretzels like there was no bones present. The arms on the other hand were effectively just torn off because Astrid tried to bend them around, but the cuts just grew until they completely tore off.


That only left the head of this thing and frankly, Astrid wanted to see for herself if this thing had a soul. And she sure as hell hoped it did so that it would endure the worst suffering imaginable as it was made into spiritual fertilizer. She didn't even say anything before opening her jaw and clamping it around this things head and then tearing it off. She then ate the torso, followed by the legs, and went so far as to consume the arms she tore off of it as well just for good measure. Then with her anger managed just a bit she looked within for the core bit of hollow energy she had within herself. The seedling that had sprouted into a tree of its own and began to draw power off of it. Using the hand that was already on her face she focused its energy there and then imagined her mask.


Moments later she felt the mask appear in her hands, solid as ever. The moment she placed it on her face she felt her body begin to stitch itself together closing the wound and replacing the damaged flesh with new flesh. Sadly, however this did not give her a new eye but that could be dealt with later. A shame she'd already dealt with the idiot in question that had attacked her. Still with the pain gone and the wound dealt with she was now looking around at her pack. She was still livid but wasn't certain how her pack managed to miss this. They were her eyes and ears, weren't they? They aren't at their strongest. . . It did seem like it was hiding given I didn't see it either. . . GRRRRAAGH!! FUCK! Astrid fumed for a little while longer before letting out a loud yell, throwing out the intent for everyone to meet in the living room.


She shoved her way back to the living room and stood next to a table. It was at this point the saika from the kitchen table brought over another jar from the kitchen. It was another brain. She glared at it and then the saika. She almost wanted to ask why but then realized she had ordered them to watch her while she ate. With the pain gone and her anger still coursing through her, she was a bit hungrier. Namely because she'd started drawing on the hollow powers again. And unfortunately, they always induced her hunger pangs to be stronger. Now they weren't strong like when she had just learned it but instead of being peckish she was actually fairly hungry. And her stomach growling out like it hadn't just eaten was proof of that. Mad as she still was, she didn't blame the spirit. It was doing what it should. Thus, with all the will she could muster, she didn't yell at it and instead gave a very firm and very threatening order.


"Bring me ALL the body parts. Make sure there isn't anything else moving over there." The saika in question nodded and had the other two siblings from the first floor help it gather the remaining jars. This took about a minute at most. From there she looked around and pointed where she wanted all the spirits. The saika were standing near any windows and the entrances to the living room. The chicks were split between different corners of the living room and the attic. Astrid was going to be damn certain that nothing else got to her while she ate this time. And eat she did. Though this time she ate with a passion and wasn't fucking around and tasting it. She ate one brain after the other. Had help from a chick when she needed to crack open a skull but otherwise, she ate them in record time.


That's when the sensation hit again. In her anger she'd forgotten that this was going to happen again. The world slowly but surely started to fragment again. This time however he lingering anger was producing a slew of different memories that started to flood her mind. Scenes from the darker times in the lives before her. She saw fights. Verbal and physical. She even saw someone get killed from the killer's perspective. Yet like before these all faded together and eventually, she saw all of their demise. Some gutted like fish. Others given a quick merciful death. One looked like it had been drained of something. . . certainly not blood but of energy? One even went through extensive torture and was killed in some confusing manner Astrid didn't understand. What she did get though was that there was a figure. Somewhere in each fragmented reality was a figure watching. Or involved in the killing. But it was dark. Foggy. Like the memory itself was either tampered with or it just hadn't actually been seen well. Which if these individuals weren't spiritual potent could explain it.


Either way Astrid saw this figure but once the scenes of death ended so did the memories. What felt like a collection of eternities ended up being maybe a minute at the most, but she was confused. Both at why these body parts could do this and what she was shown. In truth though she was only really interested in one thing. That fucking creature that attacked her. Assuming it had a soul she could search for it within her. Question it even. But that'd take a little bit more time, so she decided to just wait for a moment, let her soul break down the others. Use its power. And then wait to "hear" for any screams or cries from it before she'd try and drag it out. Which for now meant she'd just sit on the couch and wait. Thankfully though her energy was much calmer, though it was still showing off "anger" as her emotional state to anyone that could sense it.

(1) pain was all Marik felt in that instance as his vision on the right side of his face was stolen , he would instinctively close his eyes well singular remaining eye as fast as possible. His hand reaching up to his face as his spiritual energy fluctuated rending the offending limb of the creature to damn near uselessness.

(2) Marik didn't know the exact name of the means of causing weaker foes damage , but he was aware how to induce it. And it was instinctual this time around a reflex out self preservation and fear. Marik's would close around the creature his eye socket sizzling as he rippe dthe creature from his face.

(3) It's claws bouncing harmlessly off of his hierro as it thrashed , Marik would scowl as he held the weakened creature in his grasp. 'who ever this belongs to is going to get thier fucking skulls shoved in' he would think to himself as he tightened his grip around the creatures mid section.

(4) The satisfying pop of bones would never come as marik squeezed , instead it was a wet squelch as he witnessed the creatures blood and guts rocket out it's mouth like a water hose. The sight to say the least was the least of his problems he simply aimed the corpse away and let it drain as he wrung it till it's body resembled that of a wrung up wet towel.

(5) Marik's pain tolerance was relativly high but he knew that a wound like this need to be attended and couldnt be put off. With a begrudging sigh he would round the corner. after that fucking little shit took his eye he made absolutly no effort to hide himself.

(6) By the time all astrids summons had carryed the jars to the front room he would be rounding the corner , heading for the house. the right side of hsi face scrunched up to hold in the remains of his damaged eye. 'im not in the mood for a fight , i just wana find the fucker who owns these things' he would think to himself his grip tightening on the frog like creature.

(7) Once marik was about 25 meters from the cabin with it's wide open door he would make note of the flaming humanoid guarding it , "i dont have time for this shit" he would mumble as he would slowly begin walking forward at a casual pace.

(8) "lets skip the pleasentries and get to the part where i get in that shack and get some bandages ok" he would call out to flaming skull man once he was 15 meters away from the shack stopping there not sure if astrid had this guy on auto pilot or she was the one in charge at the moment.

it will spread across the heavens bursting from these lands like a festering ulser

(1) Wet squelches fill the air as Astrid tortures the creature it doesn't scream , or give a cry , very similar to Marik she is greeted with a spray of blood and gore painting the pristine walls black with blood although the one thing she would see that marik did not was the acid properties of the blood that would land on the wall boaring holes into it revealing a carved entrance into some sort of stone structure.

(2)Now upon astrid devouring this creature two things would happen that she would be very aware of , she would feel a mental connection form and then be severed. As if she had a discord ping go off in her mind , but there was no message present. Whatever this thing she had just eaten was , had been part of a much bigger hive of creatures and now they had her scent so to speak.

(3)The creature it self was indeed put through the torture of becoming spiritual fetalizer , but with the inability to scream being part of it's desighn as a creature built to be an assasin. Astrid could in fact summon it or even beat it around for information but the truth of the matter was it had no name , nor a voice to speak.

(4) Should she be able to sift through the memories of the creature she would find that vast gaps are missing as if someone , had reached in and plucked all the important bits. One this is made very clear this creature used to be a human child and upon this revelation the creature would begin to self destruct.

(5) Attacking itself gutting itself over and over as disguting vile ooze began to pool aroud the gill slits that used to be eyes , the image of eyes thousand maybe hundred of eyes comes into view should they delve into his memroies. Torturious experminets that would cause a regular human mind to babble and bray and the darkness...

Astrid was still recovering from her anger and the memory swarm for the second time. Which, while tiring her a bit, was helping her anger. Namely by distracting her. Speaking of distractions however, Marik was making his way over and a scathing sound was made by the saika that stood inside the entrance to the cabin. Astrid, not being able to sense, immediately got up and started flaring her energy again. She was going to kill this thing that appeared. She was going to rip out their intestines and eat them like spaghetti. She was. . . . surprised when she pushed the saika out of the way and saw Marik. Her energy calmed immediately, and she stood there mouth slightly agape. How in the . . . Has this guy been following me?! Wait. . . that can't be. . . the spirits should have sensed him if that were the case. . . They did fail to sense the creature though. . . but Marik? I need to ask.



Astrid was going to ask something when she noticed that his hand was covered in blood. Her remaining eyes narrowed some. It wasn't easily seen given the mask only really allowed for a single set of eyes to see through it, which in turn hid her now removed eye, but she knew exactly what the other was dealing with. She simply motioned for him to enter and had her bodyguard move out the way. She may have been confused and uncertain about Marik in their last meeting. That much was still true, even now. But she wasn't about to start something with him. Especially considering what he'd done in Hueco Mundo. She didn't need to push her luck with him, especially when he'd also lost an eye. If Marik was as pissed as she was over it, he was likely soon to blow the place apart.



Upon entering she growled out an order to let Marik be. Though admittedly the chicks and her canine companion were still concerned with him. They had been present at the time and thus saw firsthand what he'd done previously. In the meantime, Astrid looked back within herself, searching for the little shit that had decided her eye was better left external to her. Apparently, the thing did in fact have a soul and when she found it, she was a bit surprised that it wasn't screaming in agony. It seemed to not be capable of doing such. That made her upset that it didn't have the means to scream in agony for her. Still, she'd summon it out after she dealt with Marik. Namely because she didn't want him to think she'd spawned these fuckers. The flaming siblings were enough of a surprise, let alone her other editions to the pack.



As for how she'd react to Marik, she'd simply watch him as she stood in the living room. She didn't say anything and didn't make any moves. Hell, she wasn't even trying to be aggressive or fearful she was just watching. Curious at what he'd do. The wound was clearly going to affect him more than it would her, and not just because of the mask. Marik only had his two eyes after all. Still unless Marik spoke to her, she'd say nothing and just wait for him to do whatever he would. If he asked something she'd wait until he was finished before considering her response to him. She wasn't 100% certain if she wanted to interact with him again. He was. . . strange after all, having concerns over her. She didn't like it but perhaps that's how things were when you met people. She had concerns for Sonadora after all.

(1) As the snow and winds whirled about while he made his way twoard the small houses door he was a little astounded to see that his words had actually caused the creature to move , 'or maybe astrid had given him some orders' he would think to himself as he strode foward. At this point he couldnt care less who was in the house what he wanted was to staunch the bleeding from his lost eye , He would take one look around the room and realise this dwelling strangly had no fucking bathroom. "who the fu..." he would bite his tounge with a growl before turning to astrid "do me a favor and try not running this time" he would grunt as he removed his hand from his face.



(2) The remains of the eye within his right eye socket would visible a bloody gorey mess , the darkness within almost like a second hollow hole. Raising his hand back up to his face he would take his index middle and thumb fingers and pluck out the damaged eye with a wet squelch , the pain was nothing more than a trifle to him but what was to come would sting a little. With a light toss he flings the offending eye over his shoulder letting it hit the floor at the flaming hellions feet with a wet thwak upon the floor. "now lets get this over with" he would sigh out as he raised his bloody index to his empty eye socket.



(3) The sound of burning flesh would fill the air as a bright neon green light began to flood from his eye socket bathing the room in an eerie green light , He would wince slightly as the cero charging in his skull cauterized the blood vesselds that had been rendered open by that little shit. As the light subsided evidence of him dispersing the spirit energy , having mastered the use of cero he could easily control the output of power need to perform such a task.



(4) He would take a breath visibly attempting to calm down as he surveyed the room , then taking a look at astrid unable to tell she also had lost an eye previously as well. "so im guessing this little shit isn't one of yours then since you let me in..." he then would walk around the house taking note of the destruction that had already taken place , wandering into the kitchen where he would be met with the sight of the now empty. The thing that boggled him mind the most was the gaping black void in the back of the fridge. "normally id ask why there's a hole in a fridge...but i wagering the asshole im going to murder is in there" he would say with a sigh before looking over to astrid.

Astrid's eyes narrowed considerably at his initial comment towards her. Perhaps she should reconsider her stance of not pissing him off. He definitely seemed like he wanted to throw down with her. Still perhaps it was upsetting to actually up and leave. But he was a fucking hollow, he should know how other hollows act. They come and go as they choose, regardless of consequences. Astrid admittedly left in a bit more of a rush for various concerns, some of which were very soundly founded due to him blowing a hole in a ceiling she didn't realize existed. Others were more personal discomfort such as that filthy "concern" he held for her. Despite her desire to actually do something she instead just ground her teeth and jaws together while she watched him through her mask.

Still credit to him. For having his eye damaged he handled it well. Ripping the offending organ out and then burning the flesh together. It wasn't a great tactic, but it certainly did work. She couldn't say much herself though as she'd lost an eye and then was only able to heal the flesh around it without the eye coming back. It pissed her off immensely. Still Marik wasn't the one who did it and from what he was saying had apparently run into the same thing but somewhere else. This concerned her mildly as that implied there were more of those fuckers around. Not something she was terribly fond of. The question remained then what they should do. Astrid had half a mind to leave as aside from the offender she really wasn't in the mood to care much. Pissed off sure but without someone to actively direct her anger towards why bother being around?

That however changed once Marik mentioned a hole in the refrigerator. She'd only caught on that the "fridge" was the thing she took the jars from earlier because Marik had specifically looked inside. She pulled up her mask, despite it ultimately being a futile effort as it broke away into reiatsu sparkles and faded. Thus, revealing her central left eye socket, currently without a glowing orb present. The flesh however looked about the same as the remainder of her skull. Astrid didn't even consider how he'd react as she followed him to the fridge to look inside it. Loe and behold, there was in fact a void in there. Astrid then looked at the saika spirits that were hovering nearby. The expression her face, was unimpressed to say the least.

"Are you fucking kidding me? You idiots grabbed the jars and DIDN'T tell me about THAT?! I should kill you. . . If only it DID something to you. So, help me, if you continue to fuck up, I WILL find a better torture method inside myself. Fertilizer will seem tame by comparison. ARGH! Hetax wouldn't have missed this shit." Astrid's body was wriggling unnaturally again as the vines that made up her being were all individually moving. Her remaining eyes glowed brightly and her spirits in question stepped back a few feet as Astrid approached them. She stopped however when she made the realization that Marik now knew she could talk, in an actually capable manner. Mentally she wasn't thrilled about that, as he'd likely have something to say about it or actually want to talk with her. Even if she COULD talk, she still didn't really like it.

Still, she couldn't avoid it, so she just looked up at Marik and spoke to him. "No, the little shitstains that took our eyes aren't mine. They'd be far more ethereal if that were the case. Even if the saika here don't look it. However . . . that space wasn't something I noticed initially. . . nor did my spirits evidently. That would explain where the little fucker came from. That doesn't explain why someone put human and hollow brains in there. Let alone why they tasted weird. . ." Astrid had lost herself a little bit as she was back to pondering over the flavor of the brains. Whether she liked them or not. Let alone why would someone do that in the first place. Then her mind turned to the bits of memories she saw. A strange occurrence to be sure as even she didn't inherently have access to the memories of her spirits given, they still held onto those.

It would be at this point however that one of the nearby siblings finally brought over to Astrid the odd statue. This both brought her out of her thoughts on the brains and back onto the problems at hand. Namely, what in the fuck did she intend to do? This place was wierd but it wasn't Hell, so she didn't inherently have to deal with it. Still perhaps Marik had an idea? Worst case he yelled at her, and she threw down with him. If he killed her, she'd still end up in Hell all the same so fuck it. She turned around and attempted to hand the statue to Marik. "Apparently one of the saika found this. No idea who it is or what. Obviously, they're female, however. You got any idea?"

(1) As Marik's eye slowly adjusted to the darkness he would begin taking in his surroundings , taking a deep breath in through his nose and closing his one good eye he would begin to pick up on his surroundings. The smell of moist earth would flood his nose , almost like the smell of water in a creek growing stale and tepid.

(2) His ears may be playing tricks on him but he could've swore he heard the sound of running water. Taking a looking around him and closing his eye he seemed to think for a moment before turning his back to astrid signaling for her to follow behind him with a silent hand gesture.

(3) He had seen the statue that her summons had presented and in truth he hadnt the slightest idea who that was. "i haven't the slightest idea who she might be , but im definitly going to make her pay ten fold for taking my eye" he would grumble still clearly upset about the eye.

(4) As they walked through what marik would assume is a tunnel he would be making sure to stroll at a casual pace , which may apeear like he was being slow. In truth he was attempting to avoid stepping on any loose stones as to not alert any hidden enemies.

(5) "so about this body parts in the jars , you said they tasted weird...i could understand that but weird how?" his question lacked any real concern or atleast it came off that way , as his voice sounded rather drousy and listless.

(6) In terms of where he was going he didn't truly know he was simply allowing his energy sensory abilities to guide him , In hopes his senses and instinct would guid him to the neck of the beast that orchestrated this macab play of other worldly beast's.

(1) As they walk through the darkness of the tunnell the only sounds about them beside sthier voices are the click of thoer feet against stone. The smell of decay grows fainter as they travel firther , thier senses are soon met with the sounds of rushing roaring water and the smell of wet stone and earth.

(2) Should they look along the tunnel walls they would see neon yellow vines with black thorns , should they touch them the vines would tremble in hand. Warm to the touch as emanating....a flowing sound?? like a water hose on tap but the flow was slow almost as if it where pumping the liquid within like a heart.

(3) Snapping open the vine would release a foul putrid smelling liquid that would stick almost like hot glue , The damaged area would then contract closing the area off to not lose liquid. Should they ignore them nothing will happen if touched hap hazardly the thorns will bypass any skin defense present.

(4)Once you have traveled a little farther you are greeted with the visage of a cavern , Glowing purple crystals litter the walls and roof in mass growths. Doorways constructed of stone litter the area some in disrepair otehr's completely destroyed. Might be well to be on guard there seems to be tracks from the small creatures from before.
