“Alright, thats enough Zanjutsu for the day, remember your basic forms and come back tomorrow ready for more! Class Dismissed!” Shouted out the teacher of Satsuki's Zanjutsu class, he was a big bald man, and despite being a tad annoying and loud, she had a wealth of knowledge for Satsuki to absorb. She tucked her wooden, bokken into the belt on her waist and headed off to her extra training she had planned.

It had been a very average day at the Shinoreijutsuin, though quite different from her days at her previous academies. She had been at the Shin’o Academy for just over a year now, and was slowly starting to get used to life there. Certainly holding a Katana in the middle of a classroom surrounded by other people holding Katana was quite a lot to get over.

She was doing quite well at school work, she did exceptional in her entrance exam, which landed her into a pretty good class. Her previous life of studying and deskwork had been helping her quite a bit as well, Satsuki’s work ethic led her back into being a good student easily. Though she had been struggling quite a bit with Kido… hopefully she'd be able to get over that.

Hoho seemed quite important for the path Satsuki wished to go down, and she was doing alright at it, but she needed to do more than alright at it. For this purpose she had reached out to a student that had been in the academy longer than she had, Rei Takagi. From what she understood he was quite good at using Hoho, and Shunpo. They had arranged to meet at her current location after their classes were finished for the day.

She had made sure her Uniform was nice and tidy, its whites still very white, its reds still very bright. The Hakama pants were quite comfortable, and cute! Her training sword tucked into her waist, and her sandals nice and tight, though she was still having some trouble landing after a Shunpo in them, perhaps this training would provide insight she didn't have?

Of course Satsuki had arrived a bit earlier than she needed to, as she always did. She waited for Takagi to arrive at their location. It was actually a pretty beautiful spot, a peaceful mountain side away from most living areas so it was nice and quiet, and the sun was starting to set for the day, making for a gorgeous spot.

Average days began to mean very little when it was all that Rei felt he was having at the academy. Of course, he had been getting ever closer to graduation with each passing day! And there were a couple of things being scheduled in due time that he was actually looking forward to. He hadn't imagined he was anyone worth reaching out to, yet a fresher student to the academy had learned that he was actually pretty skilled at Hoho thus far.

Even if really that just meant he was REALLY good at Shunpo--yet, given that was the foundation towards several other techniques that he eventually wanted to get his feet wet with? He could at least say that it meant something to be skilled at the Flash Step. So, the student, Busujima Satsuki, had requested a meeting at a mountainside that was, admittedly, familiar to him. Because he went here to study sometimes. It was a bad idea studying outside, generally, but it was nice otherwise.

Now, Rei was no wizard, but he did make a point of arriving exactly when he felt like he needed to arrive, dressed all the same as Satsuki was in the red and white uniform. The sunset was beginning to herald nightfall. "Hey, how's it going?" He asked of the one other person here--assumedly Satsuki, as he approached, and paused. "Pretty nice evening ahead. What exactly did you want to know regarding Hoho...?"

Satsuki gave a quick formal bow when Takagi arrived. "Greetings Takagi! Thank you for coming!" She said that as if it was a question of whether or not he would have come, which it wasn't, was it? She referred to him with his last name only, it felt respectful to do so since he had been at the Academy longer than her. The boy was shorter than her but just a bit. He was shorter, and looked a fair bit younger than Satsuki. There was a time that Satsuki felt very odd about being taught and instructed by people so much younger than her, but she got over that in her first year.


"Regarding Hoho, im having some difficulty. I understand most of Shunpo, but im having some trouble with landing after movement. Usually I stumble a little bit when I land." she said, her voice very rigid and formal as she spoke. There where other people in her class, and at her level that had the same or worse problems. But Satsuki couldnt be average at Hoho, she needed to excel at it.


While Takagi may be Satsuki's senior, she wondered if it would be appropriate to ask him to go to the bar with her after training? Normally she would do that with a squad but it would be a bit awkward one on one wouldn't it? She wanted to ask when they were done but wanted to make sure he didn't think it was a date. She decided to keep it to herself for now.
