The revelations which came from Taishokukane were rather plentiful, to say the least. They involved the hiding of the truth behind veiled words for many years, the defense of these realms against a foe that is in all consideration seemingly insurmountable for the time being, and intentions that were ultimately benevolent in nature. The silver shade, as intolerably cold and rude as he may appear to be in hindsight, never once harbored any harsh feelings towards Kimiko, and even now, he still appeared to only wish for her well-being. If that was not the case, he would not have fought the Inner Hollow head-on. Moreover, he would not have attempted to train her for so long or even so much as entertain the idea of giving her access to Bankai alongside Shizukakane. Regardless, even if his attitude was behavior and all of this was nothing but an element of a grander play, the Third Seat couldn't help but simply stand there quietly after all was said and done.
On one hand, once again, she was happy to hear that some of her questions were finally answered. She now finally was aware of what this being has been all along, and she is now also aware of the fact that her nightmares were not actually normal nightmares, but rather some kind of mental fabrication initiated by the being that was remaining within them. It explained why she had so much control over those dreams and why she seemingly had the ability to decide whether or not Kimiko could remember them all in their entirety. That wasn't even mentioning the fact that she would now be able to talk about this in detail with Celes, and they will potentially be able to find some way to make this entire situation much less problematic than it should be. For all she knows, this entire solution is now on the verge of being resolved over the course of the following years, and will potentially be resolved without any more bloodshed.
On the other hand, she was very displeased by the fact that she had been lied to by practically everyone that she trusted the most during all this time. During all this time, all of them knew what was afflicting her, and yet they said absolutely nothing all in an attempt to protect her from the truth. Celes did so by not explaining to her in detail what it was all about back when they went to that resort, Taishokukane did so by constantly refusing to explain to her what the Inner Hollow even was during the entirety of their training together... and even Shizukakane did so. The particular way he decided to hide it from her was perhaps the most hurtful of them all, as from the looks of it, he hid the truth not by simply sticking to short terms and veiled descriptions, but rather by feigning ignorance altogether. Never once did she believe that he was hiding something from her or a modicum of knowledge about the "dream", as he described.
In a way, she understood why they decided to do it. They all wanted her to feel safer, to not worry about such things and to just move onward without constantly living with the fact that this Inner Hollow could act at any given moment. Nevertheless, it all still bothered her so incredibly. She was not a child that unequivocally needed their protection from something that could harm her. She was not even just some random townsfolk of the Rukongai. No, she was a Shinigami. Not even just any Shinigami, but someone who was literally so powerful that she could actually use her Bankai, meaning a Shinigami who was about as powerful as perhaps one of the Captains of the Gotei 13. They should have told her. They all should have done so. They should have directly informed her about the Inner Hollow's existence without hesitation, and given her information about her so that she could have prepared for this in time instead of just feeling so terrible for so long.
This was why, as Celes spoke to Taishokukane, the Third Seat simply remained silent and said nothing as her wound healed and the ink that surrounded her faded away. There were too many emotions that plaguing her mind in this moment, and quite frankly, she felt that saying anything more would have simply caused more problems than anything else. In other words, she found no use in speaking any further for the time being, and it appeared as though neither did the silver shade despite his apparent attentiveness. He would allow the Captain to speak her words about his potential to share knowledge to others, about her will to eventually prove herself to him as a woman deserving of his teachings, and about the corrupted being named Yukito who tormented her and Yunorashi. Once she finished speaking, he would not say a thing, causing the area to simply remain silent for a short time. Eventually, however, he would simply huff again: "Like teacher, like student."
It was difficult to say whether this short observation was meant to be positive or negative, though it was clear that he aimed to reveal the similarities between Celes and Kimiko after he spoke it to them. Regardless, this would be the only one of these observations he would decide to give to them before he turned his back to them and started slowly walking forward into the forest. "Perhaps I will one day consider you worthy of my full attention. That day, however, has yet to come," he would tell the Captain as his body became more and more difficult to perceive as he walked. "Now leave this place. My patience shall not be tested further." He would continue to head onward for a few more meters before he would simply eventually disappear. His presence would no longer be felt and neither would his spiritual energy. It was as though, despite the damage that has been caused to the surrounding trees, he had never been there to begin with.
After the spirit left, Kimiko would simply stare in the direction from which the silver shade disappeared. She remained quiet, simply gazing at the many trunks of the enormous trees the shade supposedly used to vanish out of sight. Though she would ignore the changes in the environment in the moment, ti was hard to deny that the forest now bore the marks of battle once again. Many of the aforementioned trees have had their trunks heavily damaged by the powers that were so swiftly showcased. Some now held great craters which were created by spiritual might, while others instead bore scars of great blades pushing into their bark. It was a rather horrifying sight. Nevertheless, now that it was all over, it was hard to deny that there was a serenity to it all. Though the noise of the leaves above remained just as loud, the light in the distance had turned from its previous blood red to a calmer cloudy gray, and the tension in the air vanished.
The quietness of the Shinigami would remain for a time, though it would not last forever. Once a few seconds passed, she would turn towards the direction of the divide and start walking. "Let's go," she said, then moved onward, hoping that Celes would follow. With their main questions answered, there were no more reasons to remain here any longer, and so it would perhaps be better for them to indeed leave before Taishokukane suddenly becomes angry again. Besides, they needed to find Yunorashi; after all, she has not come to join them while they fought against the silver shade. Should they both proceed, they would pass by the many trees they have damaged during their fray, many of which were covered in stray blades of grass and splinters of wood that had flown into their trunk due to the winds Celes rose with her Astral Soul. All things considered, it was rather miraculous that none of the trees had fallen. Who knows what kind of damage this forest would have taken should such a thing have occurred.
Kimiko did not say a word during the trip, only looking towards the ground with a frown as she thought about all that's happened. It was only once the distant light of the sunny fields started to be seen in the distance that she would find herself leaving out a sigh. "That was... a lot," she said plainly, unsure of how to describe it all otherwise. She was not as frustrated anymore or even as tired, though she still wasn't particularly happy about being lied to. "I need some time to think."
