Corvus had been in staying with him on Hueco Mundo for a while, living in both the human world and Los Noches. Arcadus had the guest room set up for him, but it wasn't for lack of trying that he'd noticed Corvus slinking around when he wasn't reading older texts in the library or relaxing in the luxurious couches and chairs. As for going out, Arcadus had insisted that he accompany Corvus if they were going to explore the floor, if not for the potential that other Espada accidently hurt them, or simply getting lost, considering the size of the floor.
Sitting in his lab, Arcadus crikked his neck. While he still liked Corvus, he wasn't sure about someone being around him like this, all the time. It was a new sensation for him, and his souls in his mind. That was something none of them could help with, but he was adapting. He couldn't just walk around eating, or lounge about in robes. He felt undressed then, and Corvus always seemed to make him feel like he was under some kind of microscope.
In a way, his clothes felt like armor, protecting his guise and allowing him to exude that confidence and grace he loved having, but without them, in his casual clothes, he felt like he wasn't, performing, or putting on the performance that was expected of him. It was something he felt similar to his position as the Trecera Espada. A performance, a persona, something he had to make and maintain. He wasn't sure if he liked it or if i was something he'd get used to.
Walking into the library, Arcadus saw Corvus deep in an old french tome, Canturbary tales if he was reading the title right. "Corvus, you said a while ago you had wanted to develop other powers or techniques. Do you have any ideas for what those might be? I have the time to help you realize them, if you want to try that now." He wasn't sure if he'd be able to help test their abilities, but if there was something he couldn't help with, he'd refer Corvus to someone who could.
