Wandering around Hueco Mundo was anything but entertaining, the only amount of joy anyone like Jeff could get from this place is from bringing misery to the Hollow's he did stumble upon and they are few and far between. It is a treat however if he ends up spotting Arrancar, after all they are much more enjoyable to watch as fear creeps into their eye's compared to the more primal Hollows he finds. Looking over the horizon showed nothing but sand dunes upon sand dunes, devoid of color and life proving how desolate this world was, the only place in this world with any resemblance of life would be either the Menos forest or Los Noches.
Why was Jeff here exactly, some may wonder? The answer is as simple as he was told to be here by the ruler of the Envainar, told to use this place as a training ground and to grow in power here away from the eye's of most. With black specs appearing and disappearing back over the dunes far off in the distance, showing the truth in those words, the only ones who might know of him being here would be him, his mentor, and the few unfortunate Hollow's who allowed Jeff to catch up to them. Understanding why he was here was the first step to growing in strength and who knows maybe he might actually gain a power not seen until now.
How long have I been here again? I lost track of the time after the last two times I was pulled back to Hell and Orobas opened a new portal for me to come back. Anyone would find it hard to keep track of time in a place like Hueco Mundo, especially when all the hours and days seem to meld together in one large lump of nothing happening. What will it take for me to have something to do or eat, I now I don't need food but man I still get hungry, must be due to the fact that I'm linked with Hell itself. Scanning the horizon yet again he finally notices some movement that looks to be staying in relatively the same place.
Keeping a steady pace Jeff heads in that direction hoping not to be noticed until it's to late for whatever it is to run away, Wish I had an easy way to make fire, I would absolutely fry up a Hollow if I could. Getting within about fifty feet of the Hollow he can tell it isn't paying any attention to it's surroundings as it is currently digging with half it's upper body in the ground. From what he can see it looks to be some form of lizard like Hollow with a long tail and hind legs that come more from the side than underneath the body, the same feet end in about one inch long claws.
As stealthy as Jeff can be, he slowly makes his way towards this overgrown lizard, What is it even digging for? Does it sense something else down there? Those are questions he will find out after he destroys this Hollow. Managing to get within arm's reach of this lizard it finally pops it's head out sensing something is amiss only to notice Jeff to late and sadly can't react in time. Grabbing it's tail in both hands he does the one thing he has wanted to do for the longest time, mustering every ounce of strength he can manage into lifting the lizard into the air with one quick motion before slamming it downward forcing the lizard to smash into the ground on the opposite side of Jeff.
Now that the lizard is stunned and on it's back it's defenses are completely dissolved allowing Jeff time to prepare a strike that will immobilize it while causing severe pain and damage. Yanking it's tail the lizard Hollow will slide on it's back across the sand until the moment the center of it's body meets where Jeff's feet are positioned, the only reason it stops there is due to the downward smash that Jeff brought down on the center of this Hollows chest. Lifting his right hand up while yanking the tail with his left is how he set up this little attack, bringing his fist down slamming right into it's chest causing audible snaps and cracking from the Lizards bones that are currently breaking under Jeff's strength.
Sadly the ribs of the Lizard wasn't the only bones to break as the impact was powerful enough to travel all the way down splitting it's spine cleanly. With all options of fighting back and escape completely prevented the only thing the Hollow could do was let out a wail, true this action might not save it but the possibility of something bigger and stronger hearing the cry of something injured might bring a more powerful foe that might be able to kill this masked freak. Laughing at the vain attempt to call for help he bring his and up to face height before striking downward with his palm targeting the area where the throat meets the chest the Lizards hoping to crush it's wind pipes in an attempt to quiet the wailing.
Watching as this Hollow begins bouncing it's head off the ground of the Hueco Mundo desert Jeff can only smile as fear and pain fill the Hollows eye's, clearly capable of some form of decision making is the only true reason he gains any pleasure from watching the lights from the overgrown Lizards eye's fade to darkness. Immediately a thought rings through Jeff's head that honestly scares even him, Did merging a portion of Hell with my soul make me worse than I already was? True the idea of that part of his soul completely taking over scared him a little but one thing that kept that fear from ever fully forming was one realization, Before that could happen I will take full control of it and make that power my own with now chance of losing myself.
The Lizard finally falls motionless as all signs of life stop, granted it stopped breathing sometime ago but we're not including that in the signs of life at this time. Standing over it's body Jeff finally hears it, some noise coming from underground exactly below where the lizard had it's head sticking in the sand. Lowering himself to allow is ear to be placed on the ground it sounds similar to something digging very slowly. What is that supposed to be? An oversized worm? A giant mole? Guess I'm gonna have to find out myself, lifting himself up he walks over to the hole in the ground that was created supposedly by the now dead Lizard.
Peering down shows nothing, no movements or colors other than that of the sand, sound is the only reason Jeff even knows that something else is lurking beneath the ground under his feet. How am I supposed to get whatever this is above the sand? Hell Step away and wait for it to pop it's head back up maybe? While thinking of the possibilities the dumbest thing went through his mind and of course everyone knows the dumb stuff is what works. Positioning himself next to the hole where his right knee is in a kneeling position while his left foot remains flat on the ground, he begins dangling what chains he has attached to his wrist in the hole allowing the chains to rattle and bounce against the side of the hole.
Right on que a mouth shoots out of the ground latching onto the chains just to be immediately pulled out of its burrow revealing the creature to be an oversized mole like Hollow. "Wrong time to let your guard down my friend." Chuckling slightly Jeff avoids the mole Hollows giant claws from ripping through his abdomen, this motion would position this mole in just the right spot giving it full vision of the completely dead giant lizard Hollow. Clearly spooked from this sight it lets go of the chains from it's mouth and attempts to burrow itself back under the sand.
This was a fatal mistake for the Hollow as it would find Jeff is the predator in this situation and one thing you should never do to a predator is turn your back and try to flee. Upon this big mole letting go of his chains and turning around in an attempt to burrow away from him Jeff lunges forward grabbing the hind legs of the Hollow. With brute strength Jeff pulls the mole backwards and away from the hole before releasing his grip. Surprised from the sudden freedom the mole makes a mad dash for the hole having acquired a small grain of hope as safety is just ten feet away.
The grin hidden by the mask of Jeff significantly grew as he watched the Hollow begin grasping for hope and as it ran for the hole it was just dragged away from. Two simple actions would take this newly acquired hope and smash it to oblivion, focusing on a three foot double sided short sword Jeff uses Pressurized Gravitation to form it before then using Hell Step opening a Hell portal before stepping through and immediately popping out of another Hell portal that instantly opens as he steps through the first one putting him in between the Hollow and the hole laughing the entire time.
"That's to bad, you almost had it, but sadly this little game has to come to a close sooner or later, so sorry I don't feel like playing with you that much longer." Rushing forward after that little speech Jeff raises the blade that he is holing in his right hand up and pointing to the right, seeing this the overgrown mole stops dead in it's tracks letting out a howl of despair as it raises its lengthy claws in defense. This defense meant nothing to Jeff however as he slashes his blade diagonal downwards and to the left slicing off one of the Hollows hands before quickly raising the blade up on his left side and does another downward diagonal slash to the left cutting off the other hand.
Opening it's eyes after feeling an immense amount of pain shows the Hollow that it's clawed hands are no longer attached to it's body and instead are lying on the ground at it's feet. Fear fills the eye's of this mole before Jeff shoves the blade through the middle of the Hollows neck producing a gurgling from it's mouth. Stumbling backwards awkwardly on legs clearly meant to be used by a quadruped before falling on it's back going motionless. Looking over his work keeps that smile going as he watches both the still bodies of these Hollows that were ended by his own hands and more specifically at their face that has been frozen with a look of terror still on their face.
All this enjoyment just had to come to an end at some point but Jeff certainly couldn't fathom that time being now as after a minute of taking in the scene a giant door began to appear from thin air. "Oh come on, why now of all times!" Screaming this at the door obviously did nothing so there was only one thing he could do to ensure just a little more entertainment followed him back to the pit. Grabbing the body of the lizard Jeff faces the door down, before it began opening the chains connected to his wrist and ankles began growing in length until they connect to where the crack of the door was.
That's when it started, as soon as the chains burned into existence and touched the middle of the door it began slowly creaking open raising and tightening the chains simultaneously until the chain was taut. From within the door only flames were visible until something started reaching through the flickering fire, hands were grasping at the chains steadily pulling at them forcing Jeff towards the wide open door. Knowing there was no point in fighting it and in fact there was no reason to try remaining as possible considering nobody was around to toy with, therefore only one option was left. Strengthening his hold on the lizard Hollow he rushes forward plunging into the depths of the raging inferno disappearing from Hueco Mundo, at least for the time being.
Thanks to some strings being pulled as long as Jeff doesn't outright die wherever he is and only gets dragged back by Hell itself he won't be forced to return at the spawning pool, instead he gets to return to the Envainar base. Too bad the strings didn't include an easy return when he gets dragged back for the moment he plunges into the gates of Hell he ends up falling about ten feet before slamming into the floor of the greeting hall of the Envainar base. Getting a few looks as he gets up still holding this Hollow Jeff shrugs it off and begins heading to the one place that could make use of what he brought back with him.
Jeff waited at the abnormally oversized long table for about thirty minutes or so before it was finally ready, brought in on a giant copper platter and placed in front of him was the giant lizards legs, apparently they were the only thing that was actually edible about that entire Hollow. Picking up one of the upper legs he takes a good bite out of it, getting all the juices from this perfectly grilled lizard leg, the only complaint Jeff would have is that it tastes to much like chicken, but then again everything cooked in the kitchen here ends up tasting like that.
A tingling sensation can be felt by Jeff as he notices many eye's peering at him from the doorways leading into the dining area, eye's that clearly question his sanity for willingly choose to kill and eat a Hollow simply to do so. Grinning he takes another good chunk of meat and chews it up, the texture is similar to that of venison surprisingly, if it wasn't for the curse that the kitchens in Hell have to deal with it might have a very interesting flavor. Though he isn't sure if it's a curse on the kitchens or just those condemned to Hell, after all even in the living world the only thing that doesn't seem to taste like chicken is coffee.
Finishing up the meal Jeff could only pat his stomach as he hasn't felt this full in a very long time, usually the only food he gets is in the world of the living when he manages to get his hand on some chump change. Looking around reveals the eye's from multiple Akki, Hason, and Saika are still watching him as he shifts in his seat, listening carefully he even manages to catch a few quick sentences such as "How can someone eat a Hollow like that? Their probably the only things more cursed than use!" and "That's just sick, look at the disgusting grin after eating something so horrible." Too bad for them he pays them no more attention as he gets up from his spot, after resting for a decent amount of time he needed to return to his training so he must find someone to send him back.
Seeing that Jeff was beginning to get up and move to one of the doorways all those that where watching him began to quickly disperse not wanting any part in what he was planning or thinking about. Leaving the dinning area he begins his search for an Akki that would send him back to Heuco Mundo but his searching was not very fruitful as all the Akki that happened to watch him eat and judge him also where the first to vanish after noticing him begin to move. That's when he suddenly spotted a familiar face, "CARL!!!! Just the Akki I needed, can ya send me to Hueco Mundo? The boss wants me to do some stuff there and I got pulled back to soon." Running at the Akki he was calling out as fast as he could manage kept Carl from trying to get away.
Getting to close to escape Carl sigh's before giving his answer, "Fine, better to get rid of you as soon as I can so as not to have to deal with you later." Lifting up a ragged arm Carl begins to carve his finger through the air causing a rip in reality itself, "Well, go on then, I won't keep this open forever." Smiling Jeff looks at the Akki, "I can always count on you to do what I want." Sighing yet again Carl has only one response, "Yeah, because if I don't you begin to beat me into a bloody pulp only surviving due to our... special circumstances." With a slight mad chuckle Jeff says "That is very true, well I'll be off then" before stepping through the rip in the fabric of space.
Just like usual Jeff doesn't get it easy after he steps through a portal to go to a different destination than where he was previously, this time he ends up stepping out of the rip in space just to be in front of a Gillian, an average Gillian but still a Gillian. "Dang it Carl, I'll have to thrash you when I get a chance for this", while he might have felt comfortable to speak out loud it did gain the attention of the Gillian before him. Looking down on this miniscule being in front of it the Gillian lets out a rage filled howl before reaching for Jeff, luckily for Jeff this Gillian seemed to be on the slow side allowing him to avoid the giants hand.
Why was Jeff here exactly, some may wonder? The answer is as simple as he was told to be here by the ruler of the Envainar, told to use this place as a training ground and to grow in power here away from the eye's of most.
