Circumstance: A Hollow infamous in the area for its long stinger seems to have gone into an uncontrollable fit of rage, indiscriminately devouring as many humans as it can. But fortunately only in a small area. Monosonido, a lesser Hollow, has joined in on the feeding frenzy as a result of starvation.

Starts When: Monosonido make their first post.

Hollows may not have had as narrow a spectrum of emotion as many were led to believe, but regardless of that they were slaves to their primal hunger for human souls. Neglecting that hunger had consequences, as experienced that day in Karakura Town. It was a glorious time for any hungry Hollow to feed. Many were out and about shopping for a large variety of reasons: Food, clothes.. Or simply just because. While humans basked in their material wealth and desires, evil stirred and hungered somewhere well out of sight.

A dark-green skinned Hollow moved around on all fours on the roof tops, invisible to most and hopefully all humans present- otherwise, this whole thing would get pretty awkward. It’s long tail swayed above it’s head, stinger dripping with a mysterious purple liquid that was no doubt some kind of venom or poison. The creature's eyes glowed with hunger as it stared down into the streets below, crouched down into a stance ready to bounce at the right moment. The criteria for that moment wasn’t exactly high however as sheer hatred and unending hunger gone unchecked screamed from the depths of the simple creature’s mind for it to eat, to indulge.

Bracing its hands against the edge of the building it was perched on, digging its claws into the side and raising its tail high the dark-green Hollow let a growl vibrate through its throat. The need to consume could not wait any longer. The predator thrust itself forward off the building, plummeting down to the streets below directly onto an unsuspecting passerby. The Hollow did not hesitate to put their full weight onto the poor human, crushing them down into an unrecognizable pile of viscera with a sickening noise.

The screaming started immediately, alerting nearby humans as well as a certain ape-like Hollow who up until that point had been trying to process the new surroundings and all the feelings and sensations that came with them. A primal mind like that could hardly register a lot of it, let alone process it. Monosonido too had been neglecting their needs, more out of ignorance than an inability to find prey like the other Hollow. Hunger too called to this younger more inexperienced Hollow, and it wasn’t taking no for an answer.

A human trying to escape the nearby carnage ran into the alleyway that Monosonido was hidden away in, unaware that they had run right into the belly of a whole different beast! The ape-like Hollow observed for a moment, staring. The human was looking the other way, standing flat to the wall and breathing deeply, panic and exhaustion obvious by their body language and the way they breathed. Instinct drove Monosonido to act immediately, lunging for the human with one hand out wrapping it firmly around their leg and dragging them deeper into the darkness of the alleyway, kicking and screaming.

When another person stopped and looked into the alley at the visceral remains of Monosonido’s first meal, the purple Hollow lunged out at them into the street, consuming them mercilessly just like the first leaving behind mostly bone and tattered clothes. They could still hear the distant screams as the other Hollow with the stinger continued their rampage. A couple of quick bites allowed Mono some clarity to stop and think about the situation and so curiosity had struck. They leapt up and scaled a nearby building, using the rooftops to quickly travel closer to the screams and the evil spiritual presence.

The Stinger Hollow made use of its tail to kill and capture its food, so consumed by its hunger that it had no issue viciously murdering humans out in broad daylight even when knowing the risks. Monosonido at least had some level of ignorance as an excuse, joining the dark-green Hollow in the killing. Hollows may not normally team up this way, but one was too hungry to care and the other was getting excited. So excited that the ape-like Hollow stood up to its full height and began to beat its chest, hooting and hollering loudly no doubt drawing even more attention to the two rampaging Hollows.

… Hopefully no one thought this was some incredibly dark zoo escape.

Eleonora's days have being rather quiet lately, a couple of interesting meetings here and there but little to no progress on her journey to become a true Quincy and stand on even ground against other spiritually aware races, but at least she know can use her main Quincy ability which was the creation of spiritual arrows although she hasn't had the chance to test her ability as of yet so gauging her strength compared to hollows or even other races was hard.

Unfortunately this day wasn't going to be as calm as the others, while not good at tracking spiritual presences she knows when something is wrong and the screams of people were more than enough to let her know that a hollow was attacking, this was her chance to prove herself as many nights she has seen shinigamis take out hollows because she felt it wasn't her time, now she has a fighting chance and she wasn't going to waste it!

A huge roar echoed through the street which made it even easier for the blonde to track the hollow, lo and behold two creatures going around eating the poor humans that unknowingly walked into them, without thinking twice she ready her bow and absorbing the reiatsu in the air she created an arrow which she shoot aiming at the stinger tail of the  scorpion like hollow hoping to cut it off or at the very least damage it enough to not be able to use it.

As for the ape like hollow? Well she'd worry about it later looking at it's size Leo realize that it would be the toughest of the two, a thing she learn is that rather than aim for the mask directly sometimes is better to try and surpass their pain threshold so they can't defend or dodge when you shoot at their faces, for what little she could discern that monkey would be more bulky and hard to take down than the scorpion so that's why she attack it first

"Over here! Don't you want a bigger and juicy soul to devour?" She taunted both creatures, not her smartest move but now hopefully she'll have their attention which will prevent more innocents getting hurt for now.

The two Hollows enjoyed the chaos and feeding frenzy while it all lasted. Monosonido especially enjoyed it, seeing as there were so many new experiences happening at once. The freshness of human compared to the leftover remains of cannibalized Hollows was something only another Hollow could understand. Mono's days of being a starving vulture were over. It would be impossible to go back to all that old junk after this. Monosonido held a human by its sides and up to their mouth, consuming it in large bites only to be interrupted by the sudden howling of their fellow Hollow. Mono looked up with wide eyes at the Stinger.. now Stingerless Hollow. Purple liquid gushed from the wound inflicted by Leo's arrow, spraying it all over the ground and shockingly the liquid had begun to eat away at the asphalt like some kind of powerful acid.

The Stingerless Hollow turned its attention to Leo, eyes glowing with hatred and heightened rage towards the blonde. They were much too angry to even register Leo was speaking to them. Monosonido could understand though. They weren't blinded by rage and a majority of their hunger had been sated. At least enough to give them clarity to the fact that.. this was a trap. Of course, they had no way to communicate this point to the Stingerless Hollow who turned their tail on Leo and sprayed a large amount of the purple acid towards them, kind of like the evil twin of a fire hose. The dark-green Hollow then rushed Leo, splashing more of that purple acid around making it very clear they were an opponent that this ranged attacker did not want to get close to.

Thankfully they only had the one rushing them and not Monosonido, who stood by and watched the battle unfold with what could only be described as amazement. To sense such a spiritual strength like Leo's when she wasn't even a Hollow was.. frightening for the young Hollow, to say the least. There must have been others like her, maybe stronger. Among other things that couldn't occur to the simple minded Mono, who in reality could only think about how they might benefit from those two fighting. Something to prolong their own survival, they hoped.

With those two hopefully distracted Mono reached for the next course of their meal, snatching a human right up off the streets and devouring it without a second thought or a moment to savor the flavor. What mattered here was stuffing themselves full to keep their strength up and to silence the gnawing pain in their gut. Eating like this after subsisting for so long on other Hollows felt like a glass of ice water after a long day of working in the heat. Not a whole lot could beat it.

Bingo! The arrow pierce right through the tail and cut it off completely, maybe this hollows aren't as strong and Leo overestimate them or she underestimate her abilities, either way now she had the attention fo the Stinger but weirdly not the ape and that was concerning since that meant one hollow would be free to keep consuming and consuming, she had to get its attention now or risk more innocents being devoured.

In any situation she would shot the arrow towards the distracted ape but this was not a normal situation as the Stinger had all eyes on her and was nearing spraying some kind of purple acid that was melting the streets concrete with ease, she would have to defeat that Hollow first luckily for her she can do that without getting closer to that acid!

"Rushing straight to a Quincy? Big mistake pal" She said charging another arrow

Now the German had three options, well actually two as the third wasn't really much of an option as aiming the arrow to the Ape would mean her getting sprayed by that acid for free, her real only two options were shoot at the mask and risk dodging out of the way or shoot at a slight angle aiming at the legs of the Stinger and make sure it can't move and finish it with the next arrow.

The first option was the most riskier one but if she landed the hit the Stinger wouldn't be a problem anymore but if she fails she'll be dangerously close to that thing, the second choice would mean it'll take one more arrow and she's not sure how many arrows she can spend using as this is her real first fight her reiatsu limit is unknown to her... Regardless Leo aimed at the leg and hope that would stop the Stinger for now

"HEY! Dumb ape over here, doesn't a Quincy soul feels more tasty to you?" Honestly, she doesn't even know if the hollow can understand her so for all she knows this was a waste of time, better focus on the Stinger and hope this doesn't come back to bite her.

Quincy? ...Dump ape? Mono narrowed their eyes. The insult bounced off their head completely, but Quincy held some significance to them. It wasn't a word that was familiar, but it was what this human called themselves. Not human or Hollow like Monosonido, but something else entirely. Something that could take the stinger off the other Hollow with a single attack. Monosonido didn't know a lot, but it didn't take rocket science to recognize obvious danger. This wasn't just some human they could grab up off the street. Those arrows probably didn't taste good, first of all. Nothing Leo said made Monosonido attack but it did make the Hollow stop and think. She might even notice the effort the ape-like monster was putting into their thoughts, as weird as that might be for someone who was probably used to Hollows that acted first before anything else and only on instinct.

Being struck in the leg the Stingerless Hollow collapsed onto its side, sliding to a stop on the ground still some distance from Leo. It struggled and tried to reach for the blonde, having lost none of its energy from the last two attacks. Before the dark-green Hollow could struggle back to their still working leg and try to continue the pursuit, Monosonido seemed to come to decision on how to handle the Quincy. The ape Hollow's foot crashed down hard on the other Hollow's back and Monosonido used them like a springboard, launching themselves at a high speed towards Leo with a closed fist drawn back intent on punching the girl with all that built up momentum.

Monosonido swung their fist a Leo, putting extra force behind it to knock the girl into a nearby building and hopefully put her off guard long enough for the Hollow to come up with a part two to this highly dangerous plan. No doubt making themselves just another target for that other Hollow with their risky stunt. Hopefully it would pay off, or maybe they'd whiff the punch completely and end up being fed an arrow just like their friend collapsed on the street behind them somewhere. Maybe they could use the stingerless Hollow as some kind of shield..? Maybe that level of thinking was a bit too complex.

Technique Description: Monosonido manipulates the force behind their blows to push foes away from them. At first this extra force and pressure is only supplementary to their physical blows but as they learn to actually control their power they become able to use this pressure to push and pull foes with some concentration. This doesn’t cause real damage on its own but clever use of the environment and good timing certainly can. It’s mostly good for defensive purposes and for more control over how a fight is going. At Class 6 Monosonido no longer needs to make physical contact to exert force and pressure and they can now use it to pull as well as push. So long as they can concentrate and see their target they can manipulate pressure.

Drawbacks: The pressure and force applied can only travel in a single direction and cannot be applied rapidly. This is not telekinesis, it is manipulation of force/pressure. If Monosonido can’t concentrate it becomes much harder to push or pull. Until Monosonido has reached Class 6, the application of additional force can only be used to push and can only be used for supplementing their physical blows. Those with double Monosonido's Reiatsu Strength can resist the Class 6 variant of technique. Costs 50 Reiatsu to use. Cooldown is 1 full round.

Somehow it seemed that Eleonora's words reach the ape hollow and stop feasting on the poor innocents, oddly enough it seemed to be thinking about what she just said which for what little experience the blonde had it's not a thing hollows usually do or at least not in their early stages, either way it would be best to take advantage of the ape's confusion and take the Stinger out before focusing completely on it.

Leo hold her bow once again absorbing the reishi in the area to form an arrow and this time she aim it at the Stinger's mask, this was the finishing blow as there was no way the hollow would be able to block or evade the arrow, but just as she was getting ready to fire the other hollow stomp on the Stinger and use it as a springboard to cut the distance between them and reeling in the air to throw a powerful punch.

The German was froze in place eyes widened trying to process what just happen, of all the things she expected the ape to do this was not one of them and now she was wide open for the attack, as the fist of the creature was nearing Leo remember the arrow charged in her bow so she  aim upwards and release it hoping it would damage the ape and minimize the incoming attack.

Regardless Eleonora brace herself for the impact as she was swiftly pushed towards a nearby building from the excessive force employed by the monkey, she bounce of a wall and fall face first to the ground and although she tried to stand up quickly to not give the monster another opening she was clearly dizzy, the German would crawl in all fours before standing up and running  to the ape's back trying to keep herself in the hollow's blindspot

A strange noise left the Hollow's mouth as the arrow had mostly found it's mark. With the timing of Monsonido's swing and Leo releasing the arrow towards them, Mono had saved themselves from a direct shot to their arm. Perhaps it wasn't as important a limb as their head or as much of a weakspot as centre-mass but whatever properties those Quincy arrows had made everywhere a place you didn't want to be hit. They didn't just cut and maim, they purified and purification hurt, it turns out. The arrow struck along Monosonido's arm, grazing them deep along their purple skin and continuing to travel out behind them to hit a nearby building. The ape-like monster howled in pain, stumbling back and clutching the new wound. It burned more than anything the Hollow had ever felt. They'd been beaten, scratched, sliced at, even punched and kicked but those arrows took the cake. The pain cake, even.

Monosonido breathed heavily starting to tremble from a mixture of emotions the simple-minded creature wasn't quite ready for but most prominently rage. The ape stood to its full height and raised its fists, beating on its chest as it let out a bellowing scream creating ultrasonic vibrations that shattered the glass in the windows all around them and Leo up and down the entire street. They didn't need to see the blonde to be able to scream.

If the capacity for such thoughts were there, Mono might wonder if a Quincy really needed to rely on their hearing to be able to shoot. They would probably get their answer if Leo ended up being able to get a shot off at their back. Though it didn't matter when the only thing on their mind was to fight and to consume and maybe most importantly not get killed by this random German girl who had completely killed the monkey's good mood.

Technique Description: When Monosonido flies into a rage this is the signature skill they open up with. They scream and shout at an opponent, flailing at them with their long muscular arms intent on either harming their target or creating some distance between them. The screams are loud enough to shatter any nearby glass and to potentially harm an opponents’ hearing, assuming such damage is applicable and they aren’t being protected from that kind of damage. The volume of Monosonido’s screams and severity of the damage they cause increases with class. Once Monosonido has reached Class 6 they change tactics by screaming first before physically assaulting their (hopefully then) vulnerable opponent. As they continue to grow they are able to exert higher levels of force through the sound they produce until they can throw opponents a good distance away simply by screaming at them.

Drawbacks: Anybody in close enough proximity to Ape Sound can be affected by the scream but they will only have enough time to assault one target. For each additional target affected, the technique costs more Reiatsu. Monosonido must also take a breath between screams. Repeated or maintained screams will lead to exhaustion so they must use this power sparingly. Costs 50 Reiatsu, 10 additional Reiatsu more for each target affected. Cooldown is 2 full rounds.

As Eleonora gather her surroundings she saw the damage made by her arrow on the ape hollow's arm which made it clear to her that despite it's bulky and tall appearance it was just as weak as the Stinger so one well place shot would be the end of it, and with the scorpion hollow mostly out of commission she should focus on the monkey instead, it shouldn't be too difficult right? The first hit was a lucky one no way this creature has a way to fight her when she has the range advantage.

The blonde took a deep breath and aim her bow one more time aiming to finish Monosonido in one swift strike, but before she could even start charging an arrow the hollow stood up and started screaming with such force that nearby windows started to pop and break from the powerful sound, of course Eleonora was also affected by this as she quickly drop to her knees and cover her ears as if somehow that would save her eardrums.

Now even more disoriented than before there was no way she could take her shot and staying any second longer would mean risking going deaf, Eleonora decide to turn back and get herself some distance from the monsters to fully recover from the previous attacks and be sure she can finish these creatures for good, she turn left on the next block and stay near a building which windows were not shattered that gave her enough indication for the reach of the Hollow's scream.

Next time I'm aiming at the mask. She thought for herself as it was clear the the German made a mistake by underestimating her enemies after the first couple of arrows.

With some actual time to think and act, Monosonido took this opportunity to run back over to the fallen Hollow. They wrapped an arm tight around the dissolving creature and leapt up to grab the side of a building with a free hand. They turned their head to give one angry yell at Leo and then scaled the rest of the way up the building, disappearing onto the rooftops where they assumed they could be safe for a moment- Mono wasn't retreating yet, though. They needed their strength if they were going to continue the fight and their little "friend" had exactly what was needed. Monosonido devoured the Stingerless Hollow unceremoniously, wolfing it down 'till there was nothing left adding their strength to the ape-like Hollow's own.

Nothing dramatic about them would change. It wasn't like they'd steal the stinger or something. No, nothing but a quick boost to help that wound they just got before to heal. And when that was all done Monosonido hopped off the building back down to the street where they had been fighting Leo. Eyes trained on the blonde, glowing with predatory hunger for the Quincy's soul. They stayed crouched low in a defensive posture, ready to move at a split seconds' notice whenever Leo decided to fire off another of those arrows.

As the blonde took a second to catch her breath and come up with a plan there was this pressure on her back that she forgot something important when she run from the battle, well if it was really that important she wouldn't have forgotten about it, right? Wrong, the moment the Ape like Hollow yell at her from the roof of a building she realize that she didn't finish the Stinger Hollow and now that was going to bite her quite literally.

She should've shoot an arrow right there but she had no good angle and in no time Monosonido was at the top with free way to enjoy it's meal and in just a matter of seconds the stinger was no more and the ape has regain some strength and heal that wound her arrow left, with a swift jump the monkey was back on the streets looking  to continue the fight with the young Quincy.

"Alright, if you want to keep dancing, let's dance" 

While she acted confidently deep down the blonde knew she was not in a good position, not only this Hollow was strong but also deceptively fast and had just consumed one of its own, things were not looking good but she still has energy and one good arrow is all she needs, if anything this will be a battle to see who can outlast the other in reiatsu reserves at worst.

She ready her bow and charge an arrow trying to predict the next move of the Ape, if it learn anything from its "friend" the monkey won't charge at her directly or else it would risk getting an arrow through their mask, so it most likely try to jump her once again in which case she would keep her aim slightly above the mask and wait for the ape to make its move and then shoot her arrow if it decides to jump.

Monosonido watched the Quincy with a cold, hard stare. Unblinking and completely still in it's defensive posture waiting for the girl to make the first move. There wasn't many options other than trying to tank a hit to take a hit. Mono needed to bait a shot out and then catch Leo in the middle of trying to prepare another.. But even that would take some speed. The Hollow narrowed its eyes at the girl's words, letting out a low irritated growl from under its mask.

The ape-like Hollow would stand there like that for some time, crouched low with one arm raised to attack and the other resting its knuckles against the ground. Ready to pounce at the slightest opening. Eventually though Monosonido would make the first move, kicking down against the ground with an extra bit of force to throw itself high up into the air. Hopefully higher than Leo expected, but Mono knew they were cruising for a purifying either way. At least this way they could predict it and try to avoid getting hit.

Monosonido raised both arms above its head, ready to come down on Leo with one last good axe-handle punch. ..Or take another arrow to its arms. Better than its chest, head, or legs. Things that made sure they could either get away or simply continue living. Arms were kind of expendable.

The blonde was correct on her assumption that to close the distance the best choice for the ape was jumping at her, what she didn't expect was for it to jump higher and miss her target when she release the arrow. By now its clear she has take this hollow lightly and that she'll have to think of something to get rid of it, this should be easy for an experienced Quincy just create a distraction with one of your many tools and then shoot it but she doesn't have any tools nor she knows any of the techniques that uses them either so she has to rely on creating an opening to shoot the Hollow.

As the beast came down ready to hit with an axe handle attack the German jump back and roll to keep her distance since getting to close would be dangerous even if it means easier to aim at, at this moment Eleonora realize that being in the offensive wasn't going to work she needed to outsmart the monkey and create an opening to attack and looking at her right she might have just found it.

"Catch me if you can~" Said Eleonora in a mocking tongue and sticking her tongue out

The German run inside a jewel store which on paper sounds like a terrible idea because it endangers people but if things go the way she expect it they won't get devoured by the ape, the woman behind the counter asked if she needed something and she told her to stay there on the back there's a big commotion outside and it would be best to not be too close, with that little lie making sure the woman would be safe she look through the window back to the Hollow and stick her tongue out one more time before hiding again.

Now hopefully all this pissed of the hollow enough to try and grab her  by braking the glass with its fist and when it does it'll receive one spiritual arrow directly through the fist, she waited a couple of seconds before absorbing reiatsu and ready herself to shoot

Eleonora taunts the hollow and hides in a jewel store hoping the small space makes it hard for the monkey to chase her and when attempts to grab/attack her she'll shoot an arrow

[Monosonido (Ape Sound)]

Monosonido landed with a heavy thud watching as the blonde escaped into a nearby store. The ape narrowed its eyes observing the girl, realizing now that they were in quite the pickle. The shop was a closed space with a lot of people which was bad for both parties, but extra bad for Mono who still had to get through the chokepoint of the entrance. Simply going straight through was not an option unless they wanted to take a hit. So it was time to get creative. The young Hollow leapt forward, clinging to the side of the building just above the entrance and then waited. Biding their time.

This too was a risky move as another person could arrive to try and kill Mono, but other than simply retreating Mono didn't have many options for continuing this fight. Maybe they could lure Leo out, though. The ape waited, lingering close to the front windows. It could feel that people were still in there, either hiding or unaware of the slaughter that had gone on outside- Both worked for them. When the moment felt right, Mono's fist broke through the glass grabbing one of the people inside and pulling them out forcefully, causing a panic inside the store. It didn't help the hysteria that Mono was a noisy eater.

They could keep at this for awhile, plucking people out of the store like fish from a barrel unless they took a straight hit to the arm. One arm kind of needed to stay working so they could keep clinging to the building. But for now, it was a free lunch. Going inside the store would be too great of a risk for Mono's survival so maybe.

Eleonora waited and hoped her little taunt lure the hollow to her trap, her bow was charge and ready to take the shot as soon as the ape made its move, the people inside were giving her odd lucks at all time after all they can't see the spiritual arrow nor the hollow, these people are blisfully unaware of the danger that is roaming outside and it was on her to make sure they were safe.

It didn't took long for the Hollow to make its move and it was something Eleonora didn't expect at all, perching itself to the side of the building then punching right through the window to grab someone and as soon as the blonde heard the screams she release the arrow which grasp the hand of the hollow, and now there were people screaming and running and making things even worst.


"EVERYBODY PLEASE! Remain calm and don't leave the room, stay as far in the corner as you can it'll be the safest place I swear" The German tried to reason with the people but they weren't listening, some did but overall the jewel store was a screaming mess

Now neither her nor the hollow could see each other but she had an advantage that the ape didn't, she knows its general direction as there's only one place to be holding on and have a free hand while the monkey had no idea where she was on the store of course she would have to get out to attack but it should be an easy shot.

The blonde walk towards the back of the store and then took a deep breath before running towards the broken window, she would then jump and spin 180 degrees in the air and charge and release an arrow as fast as she could aiming towards where she believed Monosonido was going to be perched.

Once she fall to the ground she'll roll using her momentum and run towards the other side of the street to keep her distance and have the hollow back on her line of sight, seeing that hiding did more harm than good and that the Hollow wasn't going to run she will have to just keep shooting until one arrow lands.
