Camila smiled to herself as she took in the cool winter air, the wind nipping at her neck as she quickly covered it with a scarf. Needless to say, she loved the cold weather, and didn't want to see it go as the year transitioned into springtime. She'd always found herself the most active during the colder times of the year, and this one was no different; so much had happen over the course of a few short months, it hardly felt like she had any time to herself to even think about resting.
That wasn't to say, though, that she didn't need that time to rest; quite the opposite, in fact. She had the opportunity, now that the stress and energy of her life as a fugitive had been dying down for the time being, and she was going to take it. Her goal for the day was to head to the nearest supermarket, in hopes of picking up something fun for her to cook! Now that she had a seemingly infinite amount of time to spend in the Human World, there were so many hobbies she planned on picking up! And until she found a dance partner, that one would have to be put on the side for the time being. And so, cooking was next on her list. As such, she got on her bike, and drove.
On her way, though, the area near her seemed to spike with a rather astounding reiatsu signature; that of another shinigami, one likely out on patrol; she'd seen him out of the corner of her eye, and kept her head low. While she would've given anything for a reason to pick a fight, this was one she wasn't going to bother with. Some things were just more important than a personal vendetta, and this was one of those times she'd need to enact a sort of patience. There was no sense in spiking productivity in the hunt for her.
After eventually arriving to the store, Camila immediately began to look around. There were so many different things that she wanted to try to make, but she wasn't sure where to start! As such, she decided to ask numerous people to see what they had thought, and hopefully eventually find something that sounded interesting to her. Quite a few people were actually quite helpful! Thanks to one super nice couple, Camila was even sent a recipe for homemade red-velvet ice cream!
Upon gathering everything she'd need for the recipe; the heavy cream, the milk, et cetera, she made her way out of the market, only to find the exact same Shinigami as before, though this time locked into combat with a hollow. She sighed, and quickly dropped her groceries into her bike's saddlebag. Grabbing her Zanpakuto, Camila quickly began to rush into combat. Though, the side she was fighting on might've seemed odd to quite a few people.
Cami was, in fact, looking to actively suppress the Shinigami before her, working in tandem with the draconic hollow that had been originally fighting him. As the fight between the two of them continued, Camila couldn't help but scoff; there was no way he was much of anything; he'd been a breeze to take down. After everything was said and done, the hollow seemed to eye her down. "Interesting!" he had said in a deep, raspy voice, "it's not every day you see a Soul Reaper help a hollow in conflict, much less against her own kin!" Camila turned back toward the hollow with a smile on her face. "Oh, please," she said in a joking manner, "I'm not a soul reaper, plus you've no reason to get caught up with them; that's not a fate I'd wish on anyone, y'know?"
