This definitely wasn’t the sort of place that Kimiko would expect for someone smart enough to actually be a threat to Soul Society to stay. Sure it was out of the way and looked abandoned so the common people wouldn’t go near it, but was it really going to offer them what they need to succeed? She only pondered over all these things for a few moments until she just pushed it to the side. There wasn’t any reason for her to try and dissect the reasons for something like this by someone that based on reports could reduce Karakura to little more than a smoldering grave of death.
Which is of course why she was here now. She couldn’t 4risk sending in anyone else to eliminate this threat, well that wasn’t exactly true. Kimiko was confident that Kisala would be able to accomplish something like this if she had more information on the target’s abilities, but given her lack of information and protective nature over her little sister this was something that she had come to handle personally. Late at night in the cloak of darkness without a soul in sight nor any noise to fill in the void Kimiko managed to get on the top of the abandoned building without so much as a noise.
It wouldn’t really make sense if the Captain of the Second Division wasn’t also an accomplished stealth operative although Kimiko didn’t like to rely on such a skill. The real challenge for the Shinigami was always making sure she moved with enough space that her massive zanpakuto didn’t make any noise and give her away. Right now that wouldn’t be a problem though unless this target had incredible senses much like Kimiko herself, who just so happened to be using them. Sniffing the air Kimiko picked up on the scent of not only this building which reeked of death, but also the living and after a moment Kimiko knew just where she was inside.

Keira was deep in the middle of a delicate operation. The large machine in the middle of the old examination room could easily be one of the most dangerous things that she had gotten her hands on, and one wrong move could reduce not only herself, but the entirety of Karakura town into a uninhabitable wasteland, or that was the theory anyway. The risk to many thousands of people would be worth it however. With this, she would be one step closer to stabilization, and with it a whole new life free of the constant struggles of being a Failure. All she had to do was not waste this chance, and screw something up. She lit the blow torch and gentle applied it when a massive thud rocked her laboratory. She managed to keep a whole of the torch and keep it away from the sensitive device. She peered out of a window to see a massive dome surrounding her lab.
"Son of a arrancar whore!" she shouted exasperated by the never ending bullshit that keeps finding itself at her doorstep. She shut off the torch and stormed out of the examination room. She stomped down the dark corridor until she got the feeling that she wasn't alone. Her dagger filled glare narrowed even more, now filled with short swords. She was in no mood for unwanted visitors. She wasn't one hundred percent sure that someone was there, but it was a feeling in her gut, and like her brain, it was never wrong. She kept herself on high alert as she continued down the corridor. She wasn't going to be taken by surprise that easily, but she didn't want to show her hand too early.

On top of the building Kimiko kept quiet now that she was in a good position. She knew her target was inside the building and although it was a decent size she was going to do what she could to locate them as swiftly as possible. This wasn’t the sort of thing that she could just have fun with, according to reports this individual had taken out several allied individuals. They weren’t to be underestimated so for once Kimiko was going to push aside her taste for combat and embrace her skills as an assassin in order to accomplish this with as little difficulty as possible.
The first step on that path of victory was locating roughly where her target was right now, in order to do that Kimiko listened. Her animalistic senses gave her enough of a field advantage that after only a few moments she picked up on the sound of who she believed to be the target moving inside of the building. The target was only roughly one hundred meters away at a slight angle from her position. Crouching Kimiko pulled her right arm back and then thrust it forward delivering a jab against the air to produce a shockwave that would blast through the roof of the building at a ninety degree angle above the target.
Positioned to break through in a moment and continue forward with an offensive strength of 1200, Kimiko didn’t believe it would be so easy based on reports, but from what she was hearing this target was moving in an angry manner and thus their attention may just be fragmented enough to claim an immediate victory. After sending out her shockwave though Kimiko pushed off the roof flipping to the right via a handless cartwheel with enough force to send her roughly twenty meters to the side where she would land on the roof with hardly any sound. The methods of stealth really were quite boring.

Just because Keira was angered, didn't mean that her attention, and senses were any less divided. It was a good thing that she also had the entire structure of her laboratory memorized to a T. She made it half way down a corridor when a new sound met her ears. It a deep boom, and followed by several crashes in rapid succession. The first attack has been fired. She thought allowing her body to move completely on its own. She used sonido to move into a side corridor avoiding the shock wave, and the mass of debris that followed it collapsing the corridor. Well if that didn't confirm that there was an intruder, Keira wouldn't know what would.
Keira took in a sharp breath and let it out. Well, at least this will allow me to try out some of the new tricks Kitai taught me. Keira thought with a wicked smile. She extended her hand and gathered a large orb or pure reiatsu. She turned her hand and allowed it to fall to the floor where a dark portal opened up swallowing the orb into the depths of hell itself. She had been very interested in the realm for quite some time. She had not put much effort into directly studying the denizens of the realm, or the world itself. She was far to busy with her primary goals of stabilization at the moment. Still this trick allowed Kitai to get away with a during their brief little skirmish in Paris, why not try it now.
Now it was time to counter attack, and maybe meet her opponent, if they were not reduced to a pile of ashes. Keira was able to detect where the intruder was currently located. She had jumped from one part of the roof to another with the stealth of a prowling owl. Still, she was not completely silent. Keira turned firing a bala straight through a wall, and up into the ceiling. The pink ball of energy would easily smash through the walls of the asylum to hit the intruder's chest if she didn't dodge. Keira was not counting on the one attack to be enough. She waited, knowing that a dodge was coming. She waited for it, easily tracking the direction, and location and firing another bala into her intended path.
