Antarctica, land of the icy and inhospitable climate. Few dare come here, for little thrives here. And yet, something is growing ever stronger. From the satellite images it appears to have started at or near the magnetic South Pole and grew outward from there. By the time the first images came in from space, the black spot was over a mile in radius. The human world tried to keep it quiet, and for the most part succeeded as it was Antarctica we're talking about. There isn't a lot of media coverage down there. But in secret, the United Nations convened to discuss the potential disaster before it blew out of proportions. Delegates speaking all six official languages of the UN came together and tried to hurriedly formulate a plan. Translators were standing by to make sure all could understand each other.
"يجب أن نرسل شخصًا ما ، ولكن من سيذهب؟" (We must send someone, but who would go?)
"Debe haber alguien lo suficientemente estúpido para investigar." (There must be someone stupid enough to investigate)
"那那些被處決的人呢?" (What about those executed people?)
"Je pense que vous voulez dire Xcution, les assassins et la milice à louer?" (I think you mean Xcution, the assassins and militia for hire?)
"Да они. Отправить их! Они полны странного сорта, которым хотелось бы таких вещей." (Yes, them. Send them! They are full of the odd sort that would like this kind of thing.)
"It's decided, then. We'll send a message to Xcution."
Out of the shadows stepped a man in an opera mask. He wore a suit made of the finest silks, carried a cane with the head of a lion on the top, and had a hat with a big poofy red feather. "Consider your message already sent." Then, he vanished from their sight. The delegates grew eerily silent for a long moment. Or more than one moment, at least thirty seconds of awkward, scared silence. "رحم الله ارواحنا." The translators didn't bother to repeat the sentiment. It was all fully understood by the entire room. The meeting quickly adjourned and the delegates went back to their lives, worried that maybe this was going to be bigger than they had imagined.
Meanwhile, the messenger for Xcution sent a message to Col Arana, an Arrancar affiliated with them. He was to travel down to the polar land to investigate. This message was intercepted by both the Soul Society Twelfth Division researchers and Vandenreich spies who in turn sent representatives of their own to find out the cause for this anomaly. And last, but not least, a Mercenary from the depths of Hell caught wind of the growing threat when one of the delegates from the UN happened to bump into him on a random street in a random place. Don't ask where, it doesn't matter. All four of these representatives from their Factions headed down from different directions, ending up headed towards the same growing spot at the very tip of the Earth. the Soul Society Senkaimon would open from the East, the Hell Portal would open from the South, the Garganta from the North, and the Vandenreich Gateway to the Silbern would open from the West.
When they arrived, they'd see a swirling mass of dark clouds orbiting a large structure in the distance. The ground would feel cold, of course, but also would feel crunchy, like they were stepping on ashen leaves...

There wasn't a day that went by that Kitai didn't regret his life choices. Ending up chained to Hell was only those choices finally biting him in the ass, and he had no one but himself to blame. He sighed, as he leaned back in his rolling chair, practically laying on the thing given his unusual height. He pushed the ground with his foot, spinning in the chair, making a crinkling sound as he did so. The Saika was currently sitting in a storage locker, the shady kind where there were no questions asked by the owners. Kitai, in his infinite wisdom, had decided to make some deals with the leaders of the Black Markets in Karakura, and was a freelancer, helping out in the more... delicate operations.
The storage locker was lined with plastic sheets, as per the request of his clients, even though he insisted it was unnecessary. In the center of the room was a large pool of red liquid, probably blood, that was boiling and bubbling something fierce. It was also making the room very hot, and making the Saika sweat. He growled in frustration, looking at a watch on his wrist. They were late. Kitai shoved the ground again, spinning faster. "Stupid Black Market. Making me wait for a bunch of arrogant Yakuza pri-" He was cut off, as he heard knuckles rapping against the metal garage door. "Finally." he snarled under his breath before getting up.
He walked over to the door, before pulling it up, revealing four heavily tattooed men dragging along a fifth. The man looked half dead, with more than a few broken bones. Kitai raised a eyebrow questioningly, but stepped aside, letting the men pass. They closed the door behind them, before the men stood along the sides of the room. Kitai felt like his talents were being wasted as an 'information gatherer', but with such potent healing abilities, he was especially suited for the task. The men asked their questions, and he made sure they answered. There was no such thing as 'too much damage' with him. He could heal any injury, and for that, he always got his answers.
Their little 'session' lasted all of an hour before the men were satisfied. Kitai closed up the Blood Pool, and left them to clean up the room. Before he left, however, they gave him a letter from the Black Market. Kitai had his interests, and one of the payments he receives for these unpleasant jobs is information. Information on anything interesting going on in any of the three worlds, information on items or things that might break his chains of Hell, or anything that might catch the eye of a Lunatic like himself. Apparently, there was something that was getting the leaders of the world up in a tizzy, and it was going down in Antarctica.
He squinted at the location, glaring at it with his one eye, trying desperately to make it magically change into something like Hawaii, or Disney Land, or some place he wasn't likely to freeze his literal nuts off. Antarctica, why did it have to be Antarctica? He groaned, covering his eye. Did he even have the right equipment to survive a tundra? He sighed, wondering if this was just the Black Market's way of tricking him into investigating this place for free. Not like he had a choice. He'd have to do some supplies shopping, darn it. He growled, as he stalked off, making his preparations for this Hellish journey.
It took Kitai a full three days, a crashed Australian airliner, and likely an interesting news cycle where Gorge Washington stole an empty plane and flew it to Ant-Friggin-arctica, but he had managed to arrive in the land of misery and ice. Also penguins. Lots, and lots of penguins. He was so disappointed learning there were no polar bears in this frigid place. He sighed, able to feel the biting air on his face and down his throat. He hefted his luggage onto his back and started walking. He didn't have a destination, but the letter said he wouldn't be able to miss it. He scratched the eyepatch over his left eye. A subconscious tic when he considered using his Darkskill. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

The land of the living. Bright lights. Sweet food. Flashing color everywhere. Ken'ichi smiled as he took in the sights and sounds of Akihabara.
Culture! Technology! This is the life. Humans have all the best gadgets...
Ken'ichi mused to himself as he looked in through one of the shop windows. Next to a plastic sculpture of a lucky money cat there was a display for the latest video games, and beside that another display with boxes filled with brightly painted pieces of cardboard.
"Yu-gi-oh! This One wonders what a 'Yu-gi-oh' is?"
Looking at the display with its brightly painted yokai, Ken'ichi marveled at the imagination that Humans passed for entertainment. He did not fear sticking out like a sore thumb though, as the shinigami was invisible to most humans. He was just about to enter the store and find the answer to what a 'yu-gi-oh' was when a Hell Butterfly floated toward him.
"Ah nuts! No rest for this One today it seems."
Ken'ichi Shihoin. Your presence is required in Antarctica. Unusual phenomena detected that has attracted the attention of the Human Authorities. Priority One investigation. Expect hostility from other factions. Phenomenon is resisting attempts at identification. Unknown phenomenon is some kind of dark spot detected on human satellites and is growing at a disturbing rate. Immediate response required. Backup not available at this time.
Wonder why we got this assignment Suigin? You would think that Aramis-taichou would be all over this. Must be preoccupied with other matters. And why Squad 3 hasn't gotten involved yet, this One knows not.
Sighing heavily, Ken'ichi used the Hell Butterfly and returned to Soul Society in order to prepare for his journey to the frigid south. Within hours, the shinigami was dressed in heavy scarves and furs, and was stepping out of a Senkaimon to feel the sting of the Antarctic winds as it rushed past him. Shivering slightly, Ken'ichi secured his zanpakutou tighter about his waist, and hoped down into the icy wilderness.
From his vantage he appeared to be to the East of the structure, phenomenon, or whatever it is. All he could see was a dark black shape on the horizon. Crunching snow underfoot, Ken'ichi lept from the small cliff and rushed toward the phenomenon, running through the air as he did. What limited senses he had while his zanpakutou was sealed were on high alert for any sign of intrusion from Hollows, or worse.

There were very few times where Edward was actually allowed to enjoy his secret hobby in person and this day was one of those days. Unknown to anyone in the Vandenreich Edward was far to invested in anime and manga, so much so that there were times his work suffered because of staying up late or leaving early to catch the live release of an episode. This never impacted the ability of his to kill deserters or those that proved to be a hinderance to the Vandenreich. Without letting anyone know in the Vandenreich Edward had been able to create from scratch a working suit of armor and swords for a cosplay of Goblin Slayer, just in time to hit up Anime Texas where luck had it Brad Hawkins the American voice actor of Goblin Slayer was serving as a guest at.
Edward was decked from head to toe with a real spiritual steel metal armor and leather. The feel and the sight of it draw plenty of attention from the rest of his con goers. He was happy about all the attention and praise that he got from his fellow anime fans. Many of them asking how he had gotten the look of his armor to look so real, which he answered with the truth. That the armor was real metal and leather wearing around fifty pounds. This got several different responses all ranging from shock, anger, and disbelief of it. Still it didn’t matter all that much Edward was here for one thing and one thing only to participate in the meet and greet with Brad Hawkins. It was for this reason that Edward had chosen to go with this particular cosplay.
It was an hour before the scheduled meet and greet was supposed to happen that he got a call on his work phone. Stepping away from the crowed con floor he answered annoyed at the fact that he was being bothered on his day off. “Warum störst du mich an meinem freien Tag?“ Edward spoke in German to try and keep noisy folks from being able to hear what he was saying. The voice over the phone apologized and slowly sputtered out that there was something happening in the Antarctic and that Execution had already been informed of this random spiritual event. The Emperor wanted it for himself whatever it was.
Edward was upset, this had been his only day off in the last month that he could properly slip away from the eyes of the Vandenrich. “Betrachten Sie es als erledigt” Edward said as he hung up his face now held a serious expression. The time for fun was now over and he had his duty and his responsibility to the Emperor, if he wanted whatever was making this spiritual waves for the Vandenreich then there wasn’t any time to waste, not even to change out of his cosplay. The shadows swallowed Edward as he used them to travel to the Antarctic . He arrived standing on a cliff of ice and snow staring out into the vastness of the Antarctic . His rage was boiling over as he saw nothing of note, his left eye glowing bright red as he hadn’t turned off the red LED light he installed in the helmet.
It was a surprising pleasure to have been personally requested for an assignment for XCution. Col seemed unbothered by the antarctic air, his black jacket billowing around him in the wind. The arrancar walked along as if he didn't have a care in the world, but Col had already determined a number of things. Firstly-- since he had been requested it was probable that the situation expected extremely powerful combatants. In all of XCution, Col expected he was the most powerful individual, barring Shizuka herself. Certainly, there were a handful that could probably give the former Escudo trouble if it came to it, but ultimately, Col believed he would come out on top of any exchange, even against the Hollow who had handled his initial assessment, Santa. While Col didn't really consider himself XCutions "number two", it would serve for a mental note. Long story short, you didn't pick the number two of an assassination organization if you didn't expect some serious shit to go down.
Col was a sadistic man, but he was also still a professional and had read his briefing on approach. Not that there was much to look at, the people sending him the job were pretty much clueless and his task was, quite literally, to find out what was going on in the first place. A small sigh escaped his lips into the cold Antarctic air. At least his target wasn't hard to find. The massive black cloud expanding and encompassing the surroundings was kind of hard to miss. "I see." Col didn't break his stride as he took in the sight. He simply kept on walking straight towards it. There was something in there.... A Citadel perhaps? A castle or fortress? Or maybe something else entirely.
Whatever it was, Col was on guard. He extended his energy sensory abilities to take full stock of his surroundings and to see if he could get any read on the swirling black clouds ahead. Whether he could determine whether they were generated by reiatsu or other means. More importantly, Col was checking for spiritually skilled individuals. As far as his own power, Col was making an effort to suppress his strength. The XCution member was talented in the art of stealth. He knew better than to needlessly flare his reiatsu. Col was powerful, yes, but he considered the most important aspect of strength, beyond possessing it, was knowing when to use it. Even he could be worn down with enough strong opponents. Col picked his battles, and he didn't want to attract needless attention so early.
The arrancar, although he never changed his pace, began to shift towards any forms of cover as he approached the black shroud, to slip out of view, putting his skill and training in stealth to work. Observe first. Gather information. Then make your move. Simple in practice, but way too many people simply bull-rushed in with no planning whatsoever, and Col did not intend to be one such person. The early bird may catch the worm, true enough, but the early worm gets eaten.

As each of the four approached the dark ground surrounding the large monolith, an ashen figure would emerge from the crunchy ground. They would be addressed simultaneously by race and epithet: Saika, Inhuman Arrogance." "Shinigami, the Realms' Protector." "Quincy, Sworn to the Light" "Arrancar, Scourge of Hueco Mundo" The voice before them sounded eerily like their own voice being spoken back to them. The phenomenon where you hear yourself talking from a different perspective than from out of your own voice, like listening to a recording of yourself, is rarely pleasant. They would each hear the ashen figure talking with their own personal voice as it continued to address them. The words were all the same and were in unison.
"Welcome to the Tower. Master is not yet here."
And with that, the ashen figure would dissolve back into the crunchy gray underfoot. A lightning flash would illuminate the top of the far off monolith, revealing for a split second the shape and dimensions of the structure. It was completely rectangular prismatic, save for a small imperfection on the top that wouldn't be discernable from this distance. The monolith was a good mile away from each of them at this time. All of the four factions had a representative with at least a little Energy Sensory, so while all would notice something strange about the way the area felt, Col would notice right off the bat that something was off in a meaningful way. The figure that had appeared as well as the ground itself would resonate with their own Reiatsu signature. For the entire distance that they could sense, all they would detect would be themselves for the time being.
After a few moments, another lightning bolt would strike the monolith, this one colored red - an unusual color for lightning. As it did so, the ground began to crack with angry red lines that faded after a few seconds. The clouds around the Tower began to grow darker and something began to pour out of the top of the structure. These objects were small, but fast, whipping around in the clouds before heading in each cardinal direction towards the "intruders" It would take them a few minutes to reach them, but their destination would be clear to each of the four that had stepped on this ashen ground. Upon closer inspection, the objects appeared to be flying cloaks without inhabitants, save for red glowing eyes inside the hood that appeared disembodied.
The cloaks were many in number, but appeared very weak in constitution.

As Ken'ichi rushed forward high above the frozen landscape, he traversed perhaps several hundred feet when an ashen figure materialized from the ground to address him directly.
"Shinigami the Realms' Protector. Welcome to the Tower. Master is not yet here."
Skidding to a halt some 100 feet away from the ashen figure, Ken'ichi was momentarily shaken to hear what appeared to be his own voice issue from the figures mouth. Before Ken'ichi had a moment to consider a reply, the ashen figure dissolved back into the barren snowy desert. Lightning flashed in the distance, revealing to Ken'ichi the presence of a far-off monolith.
That was most unusual. Figures appearing and disappearing from nowhere, and speaking with my own voice no less. Rude, to say the least! At least they could have the decency to speak with an original voice. But no! They had to steal mine! Bah.....Now here did they run off too?
A flash of light! Hmm. Some kind of rectangular monolith ahead. Most likely at the center of this phenomenon. The aforementioned 'Tower' no doubt.
Peering through the nearly impenetrable darkness, Ken'ichi failed to see anyone else at first. The area felt, peculiar to say the least, and the hairs on the back of Ken'ichi's neck crawled. All Ken'ichi sensed was his own presence, which appeared to radiate from the ground beneath him, as well as as far as he could sense ahead.
Another flash of lightning lit the monolithic tower. This time crimson in color. Counting the seconds before the peel of thunder which cracked mere moments later revealed to Ken'ichi that he was still perhaps the better part of a mile distant from the 'Tower'. Dark, foreboding clouds coalesced around the top of the tower, roiling in anger, and before long Ken'ichi spotted fast-moving shapes streaking through the sky toward him. At this distance, he was unable to detect their crimson glowing eyes, or that the shapes were little more than disembodied cloaks, with cowls pulled high up as if worn by invisible enemies.
Knowing is half the battle, and without adequate knowledge as to who, or what these unknown figures were that were streaking toward him at break-neck speed, Ken'ichi was not willing to cede a potential enemy the advantage by standing around waiting for them to show. Best to take pre-emptive measures that are unneeded, than to be caught at a disadvantage due to inaction.
Ken'ichi lept lightly to the ground, drawing his zanpakutou with a fluid motion as he did. Before landing, Ken'ichi cried out his shikai release and simultaneously activated his Ittou Suigin to transform his weapon from its normal gothic-style rapier into a paired daishou of wakizashi and katana.
"Ooze and flow forth. Suigin Kawa!"
Landing lightly with a crunch of snow, Ken'ichi slashed down at the ground to the left and right of himself with each of his weapons, blades slashing through the crisp, granulated snow and liquefying two large puddles to either side of himself, each 10-feet in diameter, and just over half as deep. Turning slightly, Ken'ichi slashed the ground in front and behind where he was standing as well, liquefying a total area some 20-feet in diameter. Willing the liquid to move aside, Ken'ichi lightly dropped into the holes created by his zanpakutou before willing the liquid to form a thin layer above his head. While not solid, Ken'ichi maintained his concentration on making the liquid's surface tension appear smooth and unblemished. To an outward observer, it would appear as if a 20-foot circular disc made of silvery-grey metal that was polished to a mirrored finish had materialized on the barren ice.
Within his hidden chamber, Ken'ichi sheathed his katana and crouched low. The blade of his wakizashi held within his gauntleted right hand in a reverse grip. Suigin Kawa was a beautiful weapon regardless of its form. In this form, it took the shape of a matched pair of exquisitely crafted swords, both of which appeared largely identical to his sealed zanpakutou. Straight edged, with gold-leaf filigree etchings in the style of carefully carved feathers adorned the rear edge of each reflective, silvery-white blade. The tsuba of each weapon appeared to be decorated with intricately carved golden feathers which were arrayed around the round guard in a shuriken-style pattern. Wrapped in embroidered black cloth, the tsuka of each paired weapon had a single ovoid sapphire where a menuki would normally be present. A second sapphire adorned the pommel of each weapon.
And now we wait to see what our potential foes have in mind for us, eh Suigin?

"Fuck fuck fuck it's cold, why did this thing have to be taking place in the fucking tundra?" Kitai mutter to himself, arms crossed and tucked under his armpits. He could feel them going numb, and he could feel the ice forming on his exposed hair. This sucked. It had only been a few hours since his journey started, but already he was regretting not going more inland with the plane. If only it hadn't run out of fuel. "After this, I'm i-i-inventing an engine that runs-s-s off re-re-reiatsu." His teeth were clattering now, muscles valiantly trying to fight off the bitter chill of the Antarctic air.
It was another hour before Kitai reached what he could only assume was his destination, given the giant tower smack dap in the middle of nowhere. It was like all the snow was dyed black. Given that by this point the lunatic was going snow-blind, it was was a mercy on his eyes that felt almost heavenly. "Saika, Inhuman Arrogance." The saika heard himself say- wait. He whipped his head around the best he could, chains falling out of his sleeves as he looked for whatever it was that used his voice. It was only then he saw a pale figure, ashen in color. "Welcome to the Tower. Master is not yet here." Before he could respond, the figure dissolved.
That was a little more than frustrating. Not only did this place feel positively wrong in a way he couldn't describe, but there were people who could use his voice running around. That was his voice! He was gonna rip that guy to pieces once he got a hold of- "KRAKATOOM!" His enraged ramblings were cut off as red lightning flashed across the sky, lighting up the area crimson. "Why does something this cool have to be in a place this cold?" He grumbled, looking towards the tower with an apprehensive glare. Everything about this situation felt off to Kitai. He couldn't say what, but an overwhelming sense of 'Wrongness' filled the air.
A second bolt of lightning struck down, before something changed about the tower. Things were pouring out from the top of it, seemingly from all sides. A swarm of cloaked beings flew towards him, each with red eyes, surrounded by shadow. The Saika grinned. This was one heck of a welcome, he had to admit. The chains continued flowing out of his sleeves, till they reached a total of sixteen feet each. Kitai moved his arms in circles, bringing the chains to life, as they both started spinning. Faster and faster they twirled, till they reached a speed of 600 speed each. "Come on..." He whispered, before yelling; "COME ON!" The lunatic started running towards the hoard, letting the Bladed Chains slice the minions to ribbons the moment that they reached him.

Col chuckled a little as he heard his voice being echoed back at him from the figure that appeared before him. "Scourge of Hueco Mundo... I rather like that epithet." He replied with some amusement. I wonder... Is this a power mimicry ability? Am I expected to fight myself? Such a thing would be troubling-- Col would be suited to begin to plan on how he would address such a challenge already. Before he had a chance to do anything further, though, the figure crumbled away, but its presence remained. A looming shade over the area that seemed to reflect Col's own reiatsu signature back at him. What was that it said... Master is not here yet? So... Someone else is coming then. Col's fingers idly played along the hilt of his Zanpakuto but didn't draw it. There was nothing to do but go forwards though. Stealth was not serving him well just yet. But there were many points that one could apply stealth it didn't have to be at the outset for it to be effective.
Well. It'd certainly have to come later. The flash of red lightning and the horde that swarmed towards him indicated that Col was going to have company. "How uncivilized. Must I expend effort on this low-level refuse?" Col asked aloud as he let slip a silver cylinder from his sleeve and a crimson blade of plasma ignited. One of his plasma blades. The arrancar sighed. "Oh well. If I must, but I pray you come quickly so I can dispatch you." The arrancar's black cloaked form now lit up by the blazing light of his weapon, Col continued his advance towards the monument undeterred. If the oncoming swarm thought they would be able to stall Col, they would be in for a rude shock. In fact, since Col had the opportunity, he began lazily tracing a his free hand as he walked, and murmuring a Kido incantation under his breath, preparing for his most apt Bakudo spell for handling hordes-- Bakudo #62. Hyapporankan. However, he had not yet expended the reiatsu yet, merely begun the incantation as he waited for the swarm to come into range.
The chill of the tundra wasn’t able to permeate the armor that Edward was currently wearing, however the whisps of wind and snow flying all over clearly showed him that this place was inhospitable for human life. Honestly if it wasn’t for the fact that this random tower was now in front of him he would have destroyed the entire landscape and be done with whatever bothered to oppose the emperor. As he thought about what to do next he heard his own voice speak to him addressing him as a quincy and saying that the master of the tower wasn’t here yet. He chuckled at the comment that the master of the tower wasn’t here yet, the former master may not be here yet however Edward was a representative of the Emperor, the one who will be the master of this tower.
A flash of red lighting hit the tower and from it black clouds came out, summoning spirts of black cloaks with red eyes. He could tell that these things were weak, not only weak, but utterly not worth his time to deal with. “If this is all the master of the tower can offer as a challenge then I need not to bother.” He said to himself as he raised a hand over where some of the spirts were coming out and towards him. A palace of ice formed in the air above these spirits and fell down crushing them under it’s weight as it fell to the earth. There would be a loud crashing sound as the ice palace collided with the ground.
With the howling wind behind him Edward screamed out at the top of his lungs in a commanding voice. With his strength it would be enough to allow the other three to hear his words. “I Edward the Executioner claim this land for the Emperor, surrender and death will be swift.” With the immediate spirits dealt with Edward started towards the throne room to sit down and wait for something more impressive to come after him, after all why bother with empty cloaks that couldn’t even handle the weight of the castle.

While Ken'ichi hid under the snow, Kitai prepared to face the cloaks with bladed chains, Col prepared to cast a Bakudo, and Edward prepared to drop an ice castle on the Monolith from a mile away, the cloaks mobilized. Many of them were out of the way of the crashing ice castle, heading towards the four invaders, but a large number of them were crushed by the falling ice. The Monolith stood strong against the castle, though, the very center of the castle shattering as the Monolith towered over the surrounding ice castle Edward had dropped. Whatever it was, it was big and durable, capable of withstanding the force of the incoming structure and standing taller than it.
As the cloaks approached Ken'ichi, they swirled around aimlessly apparently confused by the lack of an invader that had just been sensed a moment ago. They soon found the silvery spot where the Shinigami waited under the ground and seemed to sense the destruction of the black snow that had coated the ground and resonated with Ken'ichi's reiatsu signature as he walked on it. A few brave but stupid cloaks dove at the circular disc of metal and were dashed as if waves upon a cliff face. The cloaks dispersed as they hit the very hard surface and the rest of them that were assigned to the Shinigami just waited, all circling around the Vice Captain's location waiting for him to come out. He had to come out eventually, right?
Kitai would find that the cloaks that reached him were scattered with utter ease by his bladed chains. He may even have a lot of fun doing so. As each one popped into black scraps of what appeared to be cloth, their "bodies" littered the ground as the Saika cut them into ribbons. After a short amount of time doing so, the Sinner would run out of cloaks to slash through. The cloth began to stir, though, as if it was going to move again after being cut. A stiff Antarctic wind swept up the fragments into one much larger Cloak with the same red eyes. This one, massive, forty foot tall Cloak dove at Kitai in an attempt to batter him with its size and Strength (600 strength). It similarly moved quickly to the little cloaks, but moved a lot slower than they did due to its size (300 speed)
Col's cloaks reached him about the same time Kitai's did, sensing his gathering reiatsu but not really paying heed to it. If they had a programming to notice said gathered energy, they didn't heed it as they charged him with grand numbers (approximately 100) and speed (450 speed). As they moved towards him, they were most likely easily caught by his Bakudo depending on his use of it and were probably similarly carved to pieces by his plasma blade. As he carved through them, he'd find that the energy of the blade seemed to burn them more than his blades usually did. Their pieces did not conglomerate into a single entity nor did they stir when they were cut down. They simply dissolved into black snow that settled on the ground and crunched when he walked on it.
Edward, while moving to the castle he created, was completely avoided by cloaks. For some reason, they avoided the metal coated Quincy as he moved through the tundra. Maybe it had something to do with all the cloaks he crushed by the ice castle, maybe it was for some unknown reason. But Edward would find that his own worst enemy was probably himself, having announced his presence across the entirety of the mile radius surrounding the Monolith. It could potentially bite him as there were powerful players here that now knew exactly where he had been and could choose to divert their attention towards him. Or they could just head towards the Monolith after dealing with the cloaks and find out what was going on... Up to them with what to do with the information that a Vandenreich Stern Ritter was present.
