This really wasn’t working out the way that Asmoskon had expected. He had come here expecting some sort of chaos within the fog yet so far everything seemed to either be suppressed or in a stage of slumber. This mall was vacant or perhaps everyone that had been here had been taken. There were simply too many possibilities that he had to ask himself. Thankfully one of the biggest issues that had worried him didn’t seem to be a factor. Prior to entering the fog Asmoskon believed there was a chance the fog could inflict some sort of constant harm to him and anyone or anything else inside it. He didn’t feel his skin burning nor was he suffering from any signs of poison so at least for the moment it didn’t seem like he’d have to worry about that. Still he reframed from absorbing reiatsu in the environment through his cross. He simply didn’t know enough about this fog to trust that it wouldn’t have some sort of negative effect on the reiatsu which Asmoskon would only funnel into himself.
His mistrust of the environment only grew as the mall shifted into a scene from a syfy horror along the lines of Alien. Of course Alien being one of his favorite movies Asmoskon has a small jolt of excitement at the prospect of actually coming across something along the lines of a xenomorph. It was especially short lived though as he realized that even if he happened to come across something that resembled one of his favorite alien species from fiction he would without a doubt be forced to inflict injury upon it, if not slay it completely. These walls seemed almost like an insects hive, something a corrupt mutated bee may craft. As he continued to progress through the mall enclosing in on the location of the faint reiatsu signature Asmoskon came upon something in the wall that almost looked like it could be a cocoon holding one of the missing citizens. Not trusting the strange flesh like substance, Asmoskon formed his reiatsu into a sanguine arrow enveloped in pitch ebony so that he could attempt to cut into the strange thing from a foot away. He knew to stay on guard though listening to everything around him while holding his breath in case something was exhaled upon being cut.
