Circumstances: Nami is out watching over Karakura as is the norm when she picks of the reiatsu of a stronger than average Hollow and goes to investigate. Just what will happen when Nami comes face to face with this Hollow who she has come across previously.

Karakura is Under MY Protection ރ I'm my own Person now. One that will destroy any who seek to harm Karakura ☠ The sounds in the morning were so much different than the rest of the day. No that wasn't quite right. It was more than just the sounds it was the feeling. Perhaps what she felt was the aura? Maybe something different she didn't really know what to call it or even what it was that she could tell was different. All she knew was that during the morning in Karakura the streets were at their busies as so many of the citizens went on their way to school, work and home. The sound of thousands of engines had been the first thing that had fazed her usual uncaring manner. She didn't really like the sound especially all of them together. Other than it simply made telling what was happening in the area more difficult it also just felt . . . different. What was welcomed was what she was feeling right now as she stood atop the tallest building in Karakura's residential section as she watched so many leave their homes to continue their own lives and provide for the lives of their family. She wondered for a moment what her life would have been like if she hadn't been taken from her parents and turned into the weapon that HE had wanted. The thought only last for a moment as she realized that she had been thinking of herself when her duty was to the citizens and pushed it aside. It didn't matter anyway she couldn't bring the dead back to life even if she could she was no longer their child. She had been tainted and transformed into someone else . . . something else. The thing that she found that subconsciously was welcome was the due and crisp like cold of the morning. The cold was refreshing. She wasn't sure if this was something that she felt or if perhaps all humans felt the same. She didn't know if she felt the same as anyone else as emotion was still new, but if perhaps she could feel the same as others than there was still a chance she could eventually return to being more than just a weapon. Only time would be able to give her that answer though. The last few days had actually been rather quiet with the exception of the average weak Hollow appearing only to then be quickly slaughtered by Nami. Sending the innocent to Soul Society and keeping watch had been Nami's major activities the last few days. It had been a little over a week since the many of the citizens had been returned from their kidnapping at the hands of a Vandenreich Quincy. Most of them had their memories stripped from them once Soul Society had received her report. Although some would have more accurate dreams of what had actually happened to they were all given different false memories as to where they had actually gone and what had happened to them during the few days that they had been away from their loved ones. Peace had returned to Karakura and although she had been there she hadn't been able to bring them back. A young Bount that Nami knew as Luke that worked in the company of Uzaki in the business section of Karakura had utilized one of his dolls to save the citizens. This impact had harmed Nami in a new way and one that she still had no clue about. Yet every time she thought back to how she had been useless she felt . . . something. She would have to eventually meet Luke in person once again like she tried to do with all spiritual individuals in Karakura yet he was strong and helped the citizens. She would hopefully just come across him eventually when a Hollow or other entity that sought to harm Karakura appeared. Almost as if on cue Nami felt a sudden new reiatsu emerge in the distance. She wasn't the best at sensing reiatsu yet the one that had just appeared was fairly potent. She felt like perhaps she knew this signature though, but couldn't be sure all she knew was that it belonged to a Hollow. Which meant that it was likely looking for a meal. Taking off in the direction that it had just arrived in Karakura Nami was ready to warn the Hollow to leave or die.

The pursuit of the would-be master’s minions seemed unrelenting, even when he had fled through the passage of his garganta and closed it behind himself some of the bastard’s minions still managed the cleverness to pursue him by opening gargantas of their own and linking theirs to the precise passage Valentin was running through to get to the human world! They must have had some sort of expert on reiatsu sensory to have managed to narrow down Valentin’s location so easily to have followed his reiatsu trail even through dimensions. The murky darkness ahead of him flickered and moved in unnerving patterns as hollow after hollow of various sizes and capabilities clawed their way into his garganta and howled with hungry eyes.

It was fortunate only weaker members seemed to be among them, likely reserves that had stayed behind before his earlier battle for had he faced their stronger kin in this straight passage no doubt the sheer force of their ceros would have blown him apart. But these base hollow didn’t have access to any such thing, they had but tooth and claw to challenge him with and neither the skill nor strength to present much danger unless he got sloppy. A hollow reminiscent of a coyote although far uglier proved faster than many others of the pack was closing in on his metaphorical and physical tail as the Adjuchas by the name of Valentin was engaged in full sprint to outpace his pursuers.

A flick of that same tail sent a spike of bone exploding out with force to skewer the mangy mutt through the facem knocking it far behind and leaving it unknown whether it had been a kill or not. Not soon after the grasp of a fish headed hollow that appeared out of the floor of the gateway grabbed onto Valentin’s foot and held him in place, uninjured but delayed and annoyed. Wishing to avoid any further molestation from the fishy hollow his claws struck it swiftly, slicing open it’s throat and then freeing himself as he’d stuff his mouth with a chunk of flesh torn from his most recent victim. Still it had cost him too much time however as a winged hollow no larger than a colibri came buzzing straight at him and was summarily bitten in twain by an irritated Adjuchas.

He reinitiated his escape now with enemies manifested ahead of him trying to pin him in the middle of the passageway, picking up speed as his flexible tail pointed itself ahead and as soon as he got a good idea as to where he was pointing the thing he shot forth a burst of bone spikes in a manner reminiscent of a gatling gun, the things blasting forth at a speed of 600 and skewering anything ahead of Valentin in a bloody spray as blood splattered all over him as he ran past their slain bodies which were slowly being consumed by the gateway itself as it sank. Granted he slowed down just a little to rip a few pieces off a few of them, some snacks for his long visit to the human world to keep the ever present hunger at bay.

Carrying a spindly leg, a hand, half of a face and what vaguely appeared as a buttock he finally reached the end of the garganta and closed it rapidly behind himself. Whomever had been left behind in there without a guide to direct them unlikely to follow him any further. The bright light of the sun caused him to squint for the first few moments as his feet gratefully touched solid ground once more. ’’Ahh~ Lovely Karakura i’m BACK! have you missed me? oh i know you have~’’ he spoke to himself in a pleased manner, sure of his relative safety here. At least from any zealous hollows who up and joined a cult in the afterlife, death by Uzaki Enterprises was still very possible.

But he’d never let that worry him before so why start now? deciding he didn’t feel like being an invisible roadstop anymore Valentin walked his way up on the street before fate decided to throw a speeding truck his way. The city appeared quite lively at this time and judging from the altitude of the sun it was either morning or evening… the activity on the streets hinted towards morning so he’d go with that. Used as he was to being invisible to the eyes of most he got through the crowd with relative ease only sometimes being bumped into by a surprised and confused human. All the while he was chewing his way through all of his remaining hollow snacks gross as they were compared to just about any other race.

As for what he was actually doing in the human world today? dunno. He really just wanted a break from those oddly devoted cultists in the menos forest, of recent they were making his hunting difficult when hunting parties were being sent to take him down for injuring some bigshot WHOM DESERVED IT! seriously they said join up or die, shitty options to be given so of course Valentin told em’ to stuff it and piss off. All injuries and deaths after that were purely their own fault in his mind and he was the most sensible hollow he knew! of course there was a tendency for those who thought of themselves as the most intellectual of people to be complete monsters in the eyes of the common man.. err, corrupted spirit. But he was sure he wasn’t one of them!

6 Class 7 Hollows Consumed

Closing the distance as fast as she could without relying on utilizing her reiatsu to accelerate her speed so as to not alter the Hollow that had just arrived in Karakura. Nami had first sensed what had felt like multiple Hollows yet after a moment she had lost the feeling of the others and now only a single Hollow remained from what she could tell. That didn't mean there couldn't still be others as Nami knew that her ability to sense reiatsu was far from acceptable. She had been trying to develop said ability yet training had always been left in the hands of her handlers. She in truth didn't truly know how to develop the talent. In fact her progress had been rather . . . minimal since defecting from the organisation and joining Soul Society. Maybe seeking out the Shinigami for training was the best course for her to take towards seeking higher slopes.

She would have to think on that a bit more after dealing with this Hollow. Rushing throughout the streets of Karakura would appear somewhat strange at least at the speed that Nami was running to the average person if it weren't the for the fact that virtually all that called Karakura home knew Nami as a normal runner. She ran throughout the town almost everyday and whether they saw her doing such or not they all knew her at least subconsciously as a member of the community. It would take her about two minutes to almost reach the Hollow who based on what she could sense was moving along a main street definitely surrounded by citizens yet she heard no sounds of freight meaning that the Hollow had likely not attacked anyone yet.

This was strange yet when Nami took the corner onto the street she stopped and looked for a moment. It took a few moments before she saw a familiar form. She had seen this Hollow specifically when many of the citizens had been captured and brought to an abandoned asylum. The Hollow despite being one had actually aided in saving the citizens. Nami would wait to speak with it staying at a constant twenty paces back watching. She would need to speak to it yet doing so in a crowded area wasn't wise. So she would wait.

Valentin wasn't all that great when it came to predicting threats but he could feel something was off as he walked the streets, weaving past humans who hadn't the slightest idea as to his presence. He could feel it in the ground, sense it in the air. Footsteps following him, sneaking up on him like a novice trying out tip toes for the first time. Valentin didn't even have proper ears, only earholes like one might see on a lizard or a snake yet he could her well enough to know he was being stalked but the footsteps were too light to be hollow, a shinigami or fullbringer then? if it were a fullbringer he would have preferred to avoid conflict out of respect for Marcus and Luke, not so much that Yoko lady.

Whoever was pursuing him didn't want to strike while there was people around though, he wondered if he should abuse that to get himself an advantage but it only made it more likely that he was dealing with a fullbringer, most shinigami wouldn't hesitate to get the living killed ahead of schedule so long as it served their goals. In the end the Adjuchas decided not to abuse his pursuer's leniency, Valentin didn't want humans to get hurt either no matter how many of them he had casually murdered when he was a base hollow. Thus he decided to utilize an ulcera, the air ahead of him shimmering and shifting as the world between worlds opened up letting Valentin step inside before vanishing, that ought to worry his hunter.

He wasn't gone more than a moment however as he reappeared atop the roof of a nearby building far off the streets, if they could sense reiatsu they likely would be able to follow him here with ease and if not he'd not have to care any more about them but he doubted they couldn't. He would await them here, his spiked tail restlessly waving back and forth in the air as his right arm delved down his toothy maw, pulling a sword of bone similar to sections of a spine from his gullet that ultimately took the form of a european straightsword. Deciding to wield it with his right hand alone he left his remaining hand free as he awaited the pursuer, idly curious if he was about to get another meal or not.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a basic stale for a Hollow's ability to slide in and out of the valley of screams at will when it is hunting or stalking prey. By gliding in and out of the space used by techniques like garganta or descorrer, a hollow can get around quickly. This technique operates similarly to a stepping technique, but only moves at 5x the user's speed. However, the user weaves through rips in the fabric of whatever world they are in, and as such the hollows exits, and then re-enters at the destination, Hollows do not lose awareness of the world as they move through an Ulcera, and can return to the material world mid-step in response to a threat or opportunity. This technique does not take up a Technique slot.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [This technique allows Valentin to forge swords from his very own bone, the weapon has no decided length or form and is generated according to his desires at the time. Spending a large amount of Reiatsu the blade is infused with his Spiritual energy and as such can compete and hold it's own against things such as Zanpakuto using whatever is his dominant offensive stat to determine durability and cutting power. The sword once finished is a permanent object in the world although the spiritual energy of it will fade within an hour and reduce it to no more than an ornament. 100 Reiatsu Cost.]

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Standing straight and opening his jaw the hilt will extend outwards from his mouth for his hand to then grab onto and pull out from his body. Ready to be wielded.]

Following behind the Hollow that was simply making its way throughout the streets at a standard pace was quite strange. Nami had dealt with Hollows throughout her entire life and very few of them possessed as much restraint as what she believed this Hollow must have in order to not attack one of the many humans around it. This was the most puzzling thing about the situation as Nami knew that this Hollow had helped save the citizens of Karakura in the past.

This went on for perhaps a minute or so when Nami felt the reiatsu signature of the Hollow rise slightly and then a shimmer of light in front of the Hollow caught her eye. In the moment that followed the Hollow would vanish. Nami knew very well that the Hollow had just used the ability all Hollows possessed to travel between worlds. There was a chance that the Hollow had known she was following it and retreated back to Heuco Mundo.

It only took a few moments to pass for Nami to feel the reiatsu of the Hollow that had just vanished resurface in the area not to far away from where she was still standing. There was no doubt in her mind now that the Hollow had either felt her reiatsu or by some other way realized she had been following it. Nami would walk into the next alley only to jump from one wall to another until she reached the roof of the corresponding building.

Once a top of the first building Nami jumped from one to another on the way to reach the Hollow. It took about thirty seconds in total, but by the time she could see the Hollow standing on the roof of the next building she would make sure that when she would land on the same building as the Hollow she was near the edge. The Hollow was holding what looked like a white broadsword yet its shape looked similar to a bone. "So you are here to cause trouble. If this time you seek sustenance why did you not attack the humans who were captured when I last saw you?"

hm... he recognized the woman that appeared before him, the substitute shinigami which had panted at the heels of that vice captain. Valentin didn't know what a substitute shinigami was but it seemed obvious enough, probably someone too inflexible or unskilled to get assigned an area permanently and only here to cover for a proper death reaper. Nonetheless she was a shinigami in name at the very least and thus no friend of his. She spoke some nonsense about the Adjuchas being here to make trouble and whatnot but despite being annoyed with her he didn't interrupt, letting her speak until she was done.

And once she was Valentin gave of a casual shrug before answering ''Quick to assume things about people are we? why go after rabbits when i can satisfy myself with one bear is all i'll care to say.'' He raised his sword, pointing it towards the woman as he was speaking to let her know he would not be tricked ''Now stop flapping your gums shinigami, you've a job to do, that's all there is to it. Run or fight i refuse to be taken off guard by any vile tricks hiding beneath the surface! i know your kind far too well to expect leniency for the crime of existing.'' His mood had been fouled upon realizing it had been a shinigami following him after all, in his mind it was already decided that there could be no negotiation.

If the woman fled he'd allow her to do so but this was unlikely so instead if she sought to fight or flap her gums further then Valentin would make sure to take the initiative. Sword already in hand and his muscles densifying with the intent to blitz her he’d make the dash towards the shinigami, blade pointed towards the woman’s stomach. His tail too was aimed in her direction, close to his abdomen he kept it out of immediate reach but still close enough to discharge the spikes that grew from it upon need or swing it back to attempt slam against her if she tried to get behind him. His first attack in truth came from his free hand as before he’d allow himself to come within reach of the woman he would discharge a bala from it aimed in attempt to strike at her torso with the purpose to knock the wind out of her if not cause more grievous injury.

whether it hit or not was irrelevant however as he’d follow up on the attack with his blade in a thrusting motion, his movements quickened on both foot and arm thanks to his enhanced muscular structure. From there he would try to keep her from acting, quickly trying to slash his sword in any direction she might see fit to go to deny her the time for a counter and jab at her limbs if she in any way exposed herself. If she did manage to deliver one however Valentin would first and foremost try to parry it to the side were it a weapon and then attempt to pommel her face with the hilt of his own weapon and if it weren’t he’d try to dodge, willing to sacrifice his free left arm if there was no way to do so. Lastly if she tried to escape with a step technique then the moment he rediscovered her Valentin would attempt to hurl a barrage of spikes her way from his tail, 10 in total they would shoot off in much the same fashion as a gatling gun one after the other.

Technique Description and Effects:

A straightforward and simple technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it like a swift blast of spiritual energy. While the technique is not nearly as powerful as a Cero, its speed is 20 times faster and allows for it to be fired in quick repetition. The orb of reiatsu fired varies in size and strength, some Arrancar creating one the size of a basketball with the rough power of a massive punch, and others creating Bala with enough power to blast holes in adversaries. Some Espada can create Bala as large and powerful as an average Arrancar's Cero.

How to use technique:

The user must first aim and then fire the technique, as is custom of any projectile type.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Generating and overlapping strands of muscle tissue Valentin condenses layer after layer to create densely woven muscles that might look normal enough but contains far more power than they did in their normal state. Using this ability Valentin can spend his Healing Expertise prior to type to increase another's or his own physical attributes by the same amount prior to type by also paying a Reiatsu cost every turn equal to the amount of Stat Points moved around. This of course means that the rest of abilities in possession by Valentin that require Healing Expertise will weaken by the same amount and might cause him to regenerate slower than usual and such. For example this means Valentin could sacrifice all 400 of his healing expertise for a turn to increase his or another's base strength by 200 points and his base speed by 200 or however he wishes to spread it.]

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [It is willed into effect using his own tissue, be it within his own body or the body of another that has part of his flesh in them.]

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) If physical stats are increased by 200 or lower in total there is no drawback for the person the technique is used on, if stats are increased by 201-400 total a low amount of fatigue begins to build and becomes moderate fatigue after 3 turns and severe fatigue after 8.

low fatigue is little more than building up a sweat and doesn't affect the host much, moderate fatigue lactic acid is beginning to form and breath might become unsteady as oxygen intake struggles to be enough. Severe fatigue leads to exhaustion, inability to keep up with an opponent they otherwise should be able to due to the protests of their body demanding rest. They're panting deeply for breath as the lactic acid leaves them feeling weak and exposed with muscles refusing to move as they should. Target will need 2 turns of inaction to drop from each and every stage of fatigue.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [This technique allows Valentin to fire off spikes that can be grown from any part of his body in front of wherever he's aiming the spikes to a penetrating power equal to his Reiatsu Strength and a Static Speed of 600. The spikes on average are the size of a short punching dagger or 5 inches long and 1 inch wide so they can do moderate harm however there is a limited number of them. On his tail he has 10 spikes usable for that purpose and regenerates them naturally by 1 spike per 50 healing expertise a turn when it comes to those on his tail. Expending Reiatsu he can generate these same spikes from any part of his body with a cost of 25 Reiatsu for two spikes.

This technique acts as a stepping stone for further abilities as the spikes fired from his body are still alive and connected to him for a time, his Reiatsu visibly still present in them. They are made from an outer layer of bone structure with a fleshy inside akin to an organ though initially inert and malleable until another ability makes use of them and gives them purpose. Should there be no resistance from the body it hits for example a friendly and aware target then the spikes will upon penetration sacrifice their bone exterior to heal the wound made upon entry after the organic part has gone inside. Even if they do not strike a target they will still become a beacon for his spiritual energy and just as capable to transform to suit his purposes. this flesh eventually dissolves within twenty minutes whether or not having a host to sustain itself from and would have to be replaced to continue it's duties.]

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [By aiming the concerned body part in a chosen direction and simply forcing them out by contracting his muscles, in short flexing them out.]

Once she had gotten onto the same roof with this Hollow it seemed like the creature shifted in personality or perhaps just revealing its real intentions. It didn't attack her out right like so many Hollows did instinctively instead listening to her speak only to respond with a shrug. What he said leaned Nami's impression of him in a negative way as it seemed he was more here in Karakura to simply draw out a single spiritual entity instead of feed on dozens of regular humans.

He was quick to shift the position of the sword that he was holding angling it more towards her. It was at this point that the Fullbringer came to the same conclusion that the Hollow had reached as well. Negotiations between these two had already basically broken down in a mere back and forth. It was strange yet it seemed that Nami the unfeeling actually gave more to the Hollow in terms of possible reasoning than he gave her.

This was when the Hollow spoke again more stating how he felt than anything else. It was clear he was looking for a fight simply because he didn't see Nami as anything, but an exterminator for his kind. When he called her a Shinigami though Nami's left eye twitched slightly from subconscious irritation that she didn't even realize herself. Deep within her was something that had been sleeping since she had allied with Soul Society yet perhaps this Hollow had just woken it up.

Perhaps another Substitute or even an actual Shinigami would have attempted to calm the Hollow down and continue negotiations to try and get the Hollow to leave the town peaceful. Nami was no such person though. She saw a threat now, not just to herself, but Karakura. Grabbing her dogtags Nami's Fullbring would transform revealing its large claymore body to the Hollow. Holding it in her right hand Nami took an extra moment to gaze over and study the body of the Hollow in further depth.

From what he was holding and how he was holding it Nami could see that this Hollow had a large degree of skill in the field of swordplay. She could see the tail of the Hollow and knew just how dangerous it would be at both a close and long range. She had faced off against a Hollow shortly after being appointed at a substitute shinigami that had possessed a tail very similar. That Hollow had been able to sent the spikes out as projectiles. Nami had no way at the moment to know if this Hollow could do the same, but it was a possibility which meant she would be ready if it could.

She didn't have enough time to really gauge anything else in much detail as the Hollow rushed her closing the distance between them faster than she herself would have been able. The Hollow was more than likely thinking that if he could get Nami to give ground it meant he could gain the upper hand by utilizing his more than likely standard abilities as a Hollow along with whatever sort of ability allowed him to create a sword.

There was a simple answer was to press his attack with her own. Nami made the decision almost immediately stepping forward from the edge of the building roof while executing Movement to accelerate her movement speed and close the gap faster. The sudden turn of events might even caught the Hollow off guard as he was basically facing a mirror of what he had just done. The only difference was that Nami held a much larger sword.

She could see a single problem now as the two of them appproached one another ready to inflict harm upon the other with their blades. The only issue for Nami was the simple fact that this Hollow's reiatsu was spiking meaning that it was channeling a technique to use against her. There was just one thing about the stance of this Hollow that gave her the clue she needed. He wasn't holding two swords and the way his other hand was it looked like that was the key to whatever technique he was planning to use.

Shifting both her feet the the left by altering the angle of her ankles Nami would swiftly execute Movement once again in quick succession. In the moment that followed the bala that the Hollow fired off from his hand was sent flying through the air while Nami rushed to his right side. No longer were the both of them rushing one another like to trains on the same track only a moment from colliding into one another. Now she had a potential advantage and she was going to take it.

The distance of the roof between the two spiritual entities was eaten up by both their actions in a moment. Nami knew that she was at a disadvantage against this Hollow. She might not have extensive reiatsu sensing ability, but she had learned enough to be able to tell roughly how strong an entity typically was and this Hollow was no joke. She had already known this though as she had sensed and seen him before. She would just have to try and eliminate his advantages over her one at a time until he was eliminated completely.

The first thing she had to do was level the playing field on how many limbs the both of them had to use against the other. So rushing in from the right of the Hollow Nami slashed with her Fullbring channeling her reiatsu throughout it managing to release the weapon in mid swing as it was planned to cut into the base of this Hollow's tail from the right side. She knew how dangerous the spikes could be even if this Hollow couldn't fire them off like the one she had faced a year ago. Eliminating the tail was the first step to victory.

Technique Description and Effects: This is a movement technique. It's to keep up with things like Shunpo or Sonido. While all races using this have their own variant of a step technique already, this one is pretty much an in-general type of move. It attunes the physical body to the reiatsu in the air, rather than spiritual to spiritual. It is now physical to spiritual. This allows the user to step at 3x speed for the cost of only 25 Reiatsu. This technique does not take up a technique slot.

How to use technique: Focus the body’s energy and release during a step. This technique can be broken off in the middle of its use. Unlike other step techniques, this one can be repeated while in the middle of the previous one, allowing someone to change their movement course in mid movement.

The shinigami was more ballsy than he'd initially given her credit for that much was true. He hadn't expected such a direct counter charge but remained confident as he moved at double her speed, even if she did manage to dodge out of the way of his Bala. He recognized what she did as a step technique yet it was far slower than he was used to when shinigami did so, to be honest it threw him off as Valentin swung his blade to the right in a horizontal slash but too early! He expected her to reach him faster and due to it missed and exposed himself. Sensing imminent danger reiatsu rushed throughout his body to enhance his musculature, his speed spiking at 650 more than triple that of the shinigami.

With such a boost in maneuverability to even outspeed her when she resorted to a step technique Valentin not only pulled his tail out of the way his entire body dropped low as his free hand palmed the ground as the sword flew above him, out of immediate danger he used that same hand to push off from the building with the full force of his body, his right leg kicking up into the air aiming to knock away the shinigami with a gut stomp through the power of the agile acrobatics his body was capable of. Whether he hit or not next his focus would be on gaining breathing room, either using the foot colliding with the shinigami if it lands or kick off with his remaining leg to the ground to dash back.

If she tried to catch up Valentin would drag himself into an ulcera, change direction to face her while she couldn't see him and reappear a mere meter behind her with his shorter sword swinging diagonally in X shaped slashes to force her on the defense. Aiming to cut at limbs and blitz her with movements so fast that it'd be difficult to retreat or counter as he'd immediately try to chase her down if she did, in the middle of his swings two spikes would rapidly also be created from the topside of her left foot and blast off at her with 600 speed from an unconventional angle, if they both hit then they'd melt into her body and heal the wound to become a parasitic lump inside of her sapping at her reiatsu, if only one hit it'd merely stab into her and remain there causing injury until pulled out.

However the Adjuchas wouldn't dedicate himself to an all out attack just yet. Instead after a while regardless of the result of his counterattacks he'd try to make use of his disproportionate speed to jump back and across to a neighboring roof of similar size, the important bit however was what he did while he jumped between the two. Today was a busy day in the human world and beneath him would be unaware mortals all about. His tail aimed downwards he'd begin shooting down all his 10 tail spikes at the civilians and if the shinigami failed to stop him then some of those below would be shocked by sudden pains in shoulders and backs as thorns penetrated bodies.

Fabrics of their clothing torn open when the panicked individuals checked for wounds they would find none yet, they would begin to feel very tired as the hollow sapped away at their limited reiatsu. Valentin didn't kill humans that much was true, but he had no qualms about ruining their day by using them as spare reiatsu packs. It would prove Izanami to have been correct about the tail spikes for whatever that mattered but more importantly if the woman tried to follow him to the second roof then Valentin would attempt to pin her in the air as his arm would rise, hand opening into a palm and firing off 4 spikes one after the other at the same speed of 600 as before. No matter how many spikes would pelt into her if any did only two would meld into her to form the parasite, any other would remain to wound her.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Building on Living Spike Shots the Parasite technique can transform the equivalent biomass of two spikes that has entered the target into a small fleshy lump that holds itself in place by fusing with nearby material. It can only be used on unresisting targets or targets at least equal or below Valentin's Class and has no inherent reiatsu cost, otherwise repulsed by their spiritual pressure. The parasite's function is to leech off Reiatsu from others and using the strings of Reiatsu attaching Living Spike Shots to Valentin in normal cases sends some of a target's Reiatsu to flow into Valentin. The parasite can harvest up to 150 Reiatsu a turn from a target and there can't be more than one parasite per person, if a target wishes to be rid of the parasite they can expend 300 Reiatsu to burn it out of their body or alternatively rip it out despite the injury of doing such. If a hostile target is of same class as Valentin he can drain them of 100 Reiatsu a turn and if 1 class below of further 150 Reiatsu. The parasite lives only as long as an ordinary spike once separated from Valentin and must be replaces every 20 minutes to continue working.]

This Hollow was definitely not one that she could defeat easily. The aggressiveness had only just come through yet Nami could already tell from her experience with Hollows that if she wasn’t careful this in could kill her. Perhaps it was more that this Hollow had been able to survive the other that had been in the asylum than actually knowing anything about it herself. It had survived just as she had which meant it was very possible this Hollow was her equal.

The bala had been the first attack that this Hollow had made against him yet it was far from the last that he would be able to execute. The distance next to nothing now Nami was ready to slash at the base of this Hollow’s tail in order to make the battle a little more fair. She could feel the signature of the Hollow’s reiatsu rising suddenly just as she swung and then watched as the Hollow dropped low evading her Fullbring. It was obvious now that however he was doing it this Hollow possessed the ability to enhance his speed. She wasn’t sure how he was doing it, but how didn’t matter so long as she still managed to kill it.

Nami didn’t lose sight of the large foe watching as to how he had evaded her attack. It was clear that he was fast than her and just seemed to keep making himself faster and faster to the point that now she could only see the blur of his coloration. Knowing that she was in a dangerous situation though Nami would rotate her wrist utilizing the weight of her Fullbring with her skill and experience. In the following moment Nami would feel the impact of the Hollow’s foot against the flat side of her Fullbring that worked fine as a pseudo shield. What she for though was something she hadn’t expected.

The short blonde bob cut danced forward as Nami felt her feet forced back against the top of the roof. The soft black leather that formed her attire was tough enough that she could feel it resisting the earth based composition of the roof. The air brushing against the back of her arm, arms and thighs was . . . so frail compared to what she would have expected when taking a physical blow from this Hollow. She had been expecting the Hollow to possess physical strength to match its speed yet what she felt was almost like she was takin a hit from one of the male citizens of Karakura. What was this?

The moment to counterattack was short lived and Nami wasn’t fast enough to take advantage of the opportunity. By the time she could swing once again the Hollow had put almost enough distance between them to be out of range of her Fullbring’s reach. She would truly need to channel her experience in order to defeat this Hollow otherwise it was likely she would be the one bested on this roof. There had been one other movement the Hollow had made against her that gave her knowledge to use against him. While he seemed to know how to fight predicting her wasn’t something he seemed to be particularly good at as he had missed his opportunity during the first exchange. Perhaps she could use that to bring him down.

The small distance between them was once again present meaning that she would once again need to close the distance in order to potentially kill this Hollow. Although he was ridiculously fast and when he had just moved she had seen little more than a blur of color she would still need to defeat him. Hopefully her Fullbring would aid her now as it had already landed a blow on the Hollow something that the creature was only likely just now feeling. The foot of the Hollow had slammed against the blade which while it hadn’t cut the flesh it still would have effected the foot’s surface area.

The Hollow would feel intense pain stemming from his foot as all of the liquid that flowed towards the edges had been destroyed. The skin would be cracked and pale sending the sensation to the rest of him as if his foot had just suffered third degree burns. Standing on that foot would be far more difficult than normal now which would hopefully keep him from utilizing that speed of his effectively. “This makes no sense. Why aid in the rescue of citizens mere weeks ago yet now you come here to attack.”

Nami wasn’t usually one to speak during conflict in fact it was a rarity at all for her to be the one to engage conversation yet this didn’t make any sense logically to her. Asking the Hollow why could potentially aid her in battle and if it didn’t perhaps she would learn at least why suddenly he was doing the opposite of what he had done prior.
