'Oh this one is a treat.' Kitai thought to himself, for once, as the angry soul reaper attacked again. Oh the look of surprise on his face when he realized his sword was missing was so very... delightful. This man was determined now, hopefully more so than before, now that Kitai had stolen his weapon, a piece of his soul if the rumors were anything to go by. He was sure this would get him to fight even harder, trying his best to kill him! This is what he wanted, a real battle to the death, where one of them actually gave a sh#t if they died or not! The emotion! The passion! "YAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
The swordsman moved quickly, likely from a movement ability, and suddenly appeared in front of the deranged Saika. This flaming sword struck at his throat, something he might have been able to dodge, but honestly, where was the fun in letting something like that miss? Kitai instead chose to block the attack, using the man's own sword... thing, against him, blocking it, but making no move to deflect it. In fact, he used his superior strength and height to press down on the man, making a sort of blade lock like in the movies. Kitai was grinning through the entire thing, as if this were all just a game.
And then the Nakabakki spoke. His words both filled Kitai with a warped sense of pride, and an unhealthy amount of anger. Kitai loved to piss people off, it was one of the few things he was good at anymore, and especially one of the only things you could do to people down there for entertainment. But for this man to say that he sought nothing more than to destroy was only half true! It was as if he was ignoring everything he had been saying! Not that Kitai had been paying attention either, but the nerve! The Shinigami would notice Kitai actually look affronted at his words.
"Simply seeks to- what the- are you- ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" He said, sounding down right offended at the notion. "Good sir, I do not seek simple destruction!" He said, shoving the Nakabakki several paces back. Kitai had accidently managed to catch his right sleeve in the flames of his opponent's sword. He looked at it, before tearing the sleeve off at the elbow, revealing not a toned arm like he might have been expecting, but pitch black chains, wrapped entirely around where his forearm should be. "I seek such grand destruction on a scale that even HELL will shake in awe at! I will make them regret my existence!"
The grin he was wearing was feral in its madness. He was obviously very passionate about this, and probably something the man across from him could try to exploit. It was a wonder what he would think about the black, Hellish chains though. Would he assume that he was a Nakabakki like himself, due to not wearing a mask like a Saika normally does? Who knew, but at the moment that wasn't important. What was important, was that now Kitai was getting into it, as he took both hands around the sword, held it diagonally at his right hip, and ran towards him.
The former human was tellivizing his attack pretty heavily, having lost all the skills he had with swordsmanship he had in his previous life. Now, all he could accomplish was a pretty sloppy underhand cleave ah his opponent's chest. It was fast and strong, there was no denying that, moving at a speed of 500, just enough to not break his second limiter, as well as only 200 strength. It wasn't the sword swing that the Nakabakki would have to worry about though. Mid swing, Kitai released his hold on the weapon, letting it fly towards the sky, swinning like a saw in the air.
While the man was hopefully distracted, Kitai would kick at the man's legs in a sweeping motion, in an attempt to knock him to the ground. If Tsukuyomi tried to leap after his weapon, or if Kitai successfully knocked him down, Kitai would use his Mark of Greed to retrieve the blade, returning it to the palm of his hand. If he did leap towards the weapon, Kitai would follow that by following him, jumping up to attack him with the crescent blade once more. "My name is Kitai Yoru! I'm gonna break these chains, and your world!" He yelled in what could only be described as gleeful rage.
Tom and Eyeball were now... not really doing anything productive in terms of being useful. They had found the treasury of magical-super-world-ending items, but they didn't know what to do with them, how to use them, or even what magic was. So in lue of doing anything useful, they just broke the building let every other one. So long were the dreams of getting magic super powers. What a shame it was for them. The two continued on in anger and rage, and they just kept going, refusing to stop for any silly notions like rest, or hunger, or thirst. None of that was important to them!
Was was important though, was that they were passing awfully close to a certain captain and his pet mouse. Said mouse would recognize that yelling voice on an instinctual level. If they turned to face that direction, they would see Tom, dressed like a captain, holding what appeared to be the Sōkyoku. They would only be there for a few more moments, before the captain would have to put in some effort to chase them down. Eyeball was just following Tom. He wasn't that important, only really just there cause Tom needed a second person. If you looked closely, you could see a tear in old Eyeball's eye.
