Character Name: Kazuna Hashiro
Previous Real Age: 467
Current/New Real Age: 470
Previous Age of Appearance: 27
Current/New Age of Appearance: 29
New Ideals/Personality: Now having been an Espada for some time, Kazuna has adapted more to the mindset of being one of them. Childish demeanors have largely been set aside and replaced with more appropriate principles such as practicing patience, finding value in learning from others and nixing arrogance in favor of humility. He in turn now acts more like the type of person he represents.
Combat with numerous Shinigami have given him further insight into himself. Highlighting the point earlier that he shifted from an arrogant brat into more of a calm and patient individual. He is still nihilistic, but has shifted further and further away from our nihilism. As such, he no longer seeks his own destruction as he once did, now instead opting to further him as well as the goals of the Espada.
This change in his personality has invoked a response in his released state of mind. Now while utilizing his ressureccion, Kazuna is even more violent than before. The nihilism now being transferred to his psychotic mindset, it does not seek the destruction of self, but instead the outright eradication of all that lives. As before, it is erratic, psychotic and extremely impatient, often seeking to avoid morals and instead outright engage in slaughter. In essence, his released state has entered an even greater psychotic mindset while his sealed personality has reached a tranquil form of thinking so to speak.
New Goals: Nixed Eventual Destruction.
Furthering the Espada: Now being an Espada for some time gave Kazuna insight into what the Espada stand for and what they hope to achieve. With this, Kazuna hopes to learn from his superior Espada and instead aim to further the goals of the Espada. In a sense he has been doing this by instilling fear into other worlds, primarily the Human World as visits by him indicate that the Espada are quite active.
Striking a balance: Kazuna's fight with Nola taught him a lot about his emotions. How severing himself from them played a significant role in his reaction to her abilities. This as such leads Kazuna to wish to strike a balance between finding his own emotions and cutting some off. This leads into his stray from pure nihilism, only embodying it to a lesser extent than before. This could in a sense be his "mid-life crisis".
New Appearance: Kazuna's appearance has remained large unchanged. He does boast longer hair which now sinks further down in the back while forming a sort of undercut in the front. His skin is still pale as always receiving no change over the years being that he is well...dead. Meanwhile his physical appearance of standing has now changed as well. No longer does he slouch, now instead opting to display more confidence, keeping his shoulders back, back straight and chest outward.
The appearance of his Espada number 9, still appears large on his back while his Hollow Hole remains unchanged as well, being in the side of his abdomen. His clothing is now naturally tattered, granted not as much as when in his resurreccion. The back of his robe is now torn, the number 9 appearing far more easily now. To this end, it is now easy to tell that Kazuna is the Noveno Espada. His eyes retain the same color.
Kazuna's ressureccion also receives an appearance update. No longer does his flesh become rotten. It does rot away initially, but only to reveal a thick skeleton like appearance. It is as if all the skin was stripped away to reveal the skeleton beneath. Bony connective tissue still connects all the bones, appearing as a meld between all of his bones. His face maintains a skeletal appearance, now appearing similar to depictions of the Grim Reaper.
His robes continue to remain tattered, now however, taking a black coloration. On top of this, his mask no longer forms into that of a traditional plague doctor. Instead a hood now drapes his head, covering the top of his head as well as his forehead. The cloak flows almost etherally even if there is no draft or wind. The front of the robes now drapes down to lower legs while the back continues down, tattering more and more as it sinks.
New History: Now having taken up the mantle of an Espada for quite a while, Kazuna has come into contact with others of varying backgrounds. These often varied from the usual Shinigami to even an eccentric Hollow. Together with Adolf, he met the Hollow Valentin who had them spar each other to see the development of the Espada. As Valentin did not believe them to be proper Espada and in fact, a mockery of the title.
In this time, Kazuna has gone through several proper fights, learning from each one of them. First and foremost, the most impactful encounter was with Sargon, the Tercera Espada. Not only being leagues above Kazuna, his interaction with him allowed Kazuna to face against a Hollows with several unique characteristics, deepening his understanding of tactics in a fight. Having to face Sargon was quite the experience, although it was only physical combat as Sargon and Kazuna are one of the only two Espada to utilize a polearm and as such, Sargon wished to judge Kazuna's experience with his polearm.
Kazuna's fight with Wycliff alongside Adolf was an interesting one. Being his first time to release in combat, Kazuna was introduced to the manic and psychotic side that was buried beneath his nihilism. Giving Wycliff quite a scare due to both Adolf and Kazuna releasing, Wycliff utilized a tactic consisting of shallow sword attacks with not much effort and the use of Kido which was problematic for Kazuna as well as Adolf actually ending with both of them being beat.
Later as he was tearing through people in Karakura town, he came to face to face with the Shinigami, Nola Vilde. It was there that Kazuna truly understood the differences in spiritual ability as he received a nasty surge of cutback, rendering his arm immobile for the fight. Kazuna once again releasing evened the odds a bit, but Kazuna came into contact with Nola's signature abilities. Experiencing both his and her memories sent Kazuna into a bit of a spiral as he had in the past buried emotions under a coat of nihilism, but Nola bringing them to life really made affected Kazuna.
New Powers
New Techniques:
Technique Name: Necrotic Shroud
Technique Description and Effects: By whirling his scythe around himself in a quick motion and spending 200 reaitsu, Kazuna may release a thick cloud of Reiatsu that encompasses a space of 50 ft. The cloud itself significantly reduces vision producing a fog like effect. Due to the thick concentration of reaitsu, any entity within or outside with an Energy Sensory less than 200 cannot sense the presence of an individual within the cloud. Kazuna produces the cloud around himself and as such he is always initially at the center of the cloud. The cloud itself produces a thick and noxious fume that slowly eats away at the victims flesh. The decaying effect produces a severe pain in the victim while producing a mild pain to its user. It does not eat away at the users flesh. Kazuna may spend 100 reaitsu to maintain the cloud itself. The decay will never kill either the user nor opponents, but it can in worst case scenarios drive them into extreme shock, rendering them unconscious. The cloud can be kept up for a maximum of 2 posts.
Drawbacks: This technique suffers several drawbacks due to the way it operates. The pain may be ignored by a Pain Tolerance of 3 or higher. This technique's Energy Sensory stipulation affects both opponents as well as Kazuna. He does not receive a pass to this simply by creating the technique. The other drawback is that while it does not actually harm Kazuna physically by harming his flesh, it does produce a mild pain that can render him unconscious if he has been beat down prior to utilizing this technique. Furthermore, the technique is basically rendered useless if the targets leave the shroud.

Technique Name: Miotic Trigger
Technique Description and Effects: Through the wonders of Biology, Kazuna has learned how to create a vile technique. Upon making physical contact of any sort with the target, be it: Being struck, striking his target, touching his target, etc., Kazuna may spend 300 Reiatsu to induce an increased rate of mitosis within the target. The technique absorbs Reiatsu used by the afflicted target. If the target spends 50 reaitsu, the technique used by the victim still works, but the cost is instead absorbed by the cells that will be undergoing rapid mitosis. Upon spending 400 reaitsu or 2 posts pass (whichever comes first), the target will first suffer a bout of nausea for 1 post. After that post of nausea the target will suffer chest pains and the coughing of blood for 1 more post. This is the final post of symptoms after which the technique dispels itself. If the technique dispels itself, however, the afflicted target will suffer an internal burst of reaitsu equal to Kazuna's RS that vibrates throughout the target's body. This causes a burst of incredible pain similar to the feeling of being stabbed by blades internally.
Drawbacks: The burst of pain experienced with the ending of this technique may be mitigated with a 3 in Pain Tolerance. A 4 will allow the target to completely ignore the pain. Furthermore, the target may spend 300 reaitsu to forcibly remove the affliction from their body, negating the entire technique. The technique may also be negated by the target having a 2x stat superiority to Kazuna.

What kind of update: Replacing two of Kazuna's original techniques. Also aiming to switch Kazuna from Soldier to Soul Specialist 1.
Current Rank: Noveno Espada
New Rank: N/A
IC Justification for Type Change:
Trouble, An Espada Specialty [NDE/R] - Fighting Nola proved difficult especially her high SpPr inducing a severe cutback that rendered Kazuna's hand and arm completely immobile. This forced him into using his release. While in his sealed state, Kazuna was calm, attentive, and logical. His release meanwhile turned him into a psychopathic fighter whose only purpose was to kill Nola in any way possible.
Espada vs 4th Seat (Closed NDE Fight) - In this fight, Kazuna once again fought a Shinigami who was too much for him to handle in his base form. As such, he released along with Adolf to try and defeat Wycliff. Much like with Nola, all calm and reason went away and was replaced only with the desire to kill, even using a Bala Obscuras on Wycliff with Adolf in proximity obviously showing no remorse over his comrades. While sealed, he was nihilistic yes, but he saw value in fighting together. While released, he suffered a flip in personality.
Sizing Up The Appointed - Sargon called Kazuna out to the desert of Hueco Mundo to fight several Hollows as well as Sargon himself. The fight itself did not involve Kazuna releasing in either occasion, but Sargon did note one thing. While Kazuna showed above average fighting abilities, he did not quite live up to Sargon's expectations. Sargon made the conclusion that Kazuna may be an Arrancar whose true power lies behind his release which along with the personality shift that Kazuna goes through during his release fits the Soul Specialist description.

New Powers
{Old Techniques}
Technique Name: Miasmatic Coverage
Technique Description and Effects: This ability allows him to detonate a volatile decay allowing a cloud of miasma to form. This can cover the entire body of a victim and applies 3 lumps pf Volatile Decay. Miasmatic coverage requires 300 reiatsu to execute. A preexisting volatile decay is also necessary. Miasmatic coverage will apply no volatile decays if the fume is initally dodged. The fume takes up a space of 15 ft.
Technique Drawbacks: This ability can only work if the victim is afflicted with volatile decay. Furthermore, once formed, Kazuna has no control of the miasma. Because of this, allies can be affected. This miasma cannot pass through clothing but can move through the finest cracks and holes. If Miasmatic Coverage is evaded, it does not apply any lumps.

Technique Name: Infestation Renewal
Technique Description and Effects:
Upon pointing at the desired target, a beam is released. If it strikes an opponent, the opponent has become infested. This causes the opponent to be afflicted with two lumps. Furthermore, Infestation Renewal can be fired from an existing lump on Kazuna or on an object. The beam travels at the speed and is the size of a bala. As such, it looks like a concentrated fast green beam.
Technique Drawbacks:
This technique has a few drawbacks. The Infestation can be removed through a form of cleansing. Once the duration elapses, the target gains a 2 post immunity against any future infestation attempt. This ability is ineffective against opponents with a poison resist of +3. If an Infestation Renewal is fired from a lump, the lump is sacrificed.
