Karakura is Under MY Protection ރ
I'm my own Person now. One that will destroy any who seek to harm Karakura
☠
Moving throughout the streets of Karakura Town as she did everyday was the Substitute Shinigami by the name of Nami Kawa who lived to protect the town itself and the citizens of the town itself. She had been thinking about how she could do her job to a better degree and after some time had eventually come up to her own conclusion. She had started to gather more information from everyone that was spiritual that lived and passed through Karakura in order to gauge whether or not they would be a problem.
In fact that's what she was about to do now as she continued to progress throughout the town towards a new reiatsu signature that was unfamiliar to her. That wasn't why her steps were quickly becoming quicker and quicker as she started to speed walk towards whoever was now in Karakura. The reason Nami was moving progressively faster was simply that she could feel many different races coming from this one entity which meant one thing. It was a Failure. Perhaps the most passively dangerous race to be in Karakura. Nami had fought against one in the past which proved to be one of the few times she hadn't been strong enough to achieve victory. As she turned around the next corner though she'd stop and look taking notice of the entity several meters away.
relius gazed at the afternoon sun. He was merely in a tattered grey suit and with a newspaper folded gently on his lap sitting on a park bench. A dead squirrel was behind him and the grass surrounding him for close to 30 meters was dead and slowly shriveled and seemingly dried out. Although surrounding him there were a lot of dead grass and the sorts. The brisk weather of the afternoon was upon him as soon as the wonderful leaves were changing. However, Relius knew that once more time had a hand in being before him and beyond him.
Age, weakening, and ultimately death of the leaves. The seasons were changing and what was awake was beginning to fall asleep. The leaves falling and changing. the trees merely beginning to head into twilight of their long what was supposedly "long day." they sleep. Thus the man had the hand of taking the life of these creatures. an unusual golden hue would fill the area as he would gaze at the contents of the paper quietly. lifting and glancing at the front line as the steps of a quick person would catch his hears as he would look up and glance at the person arriving around the corner of the archway.
"good day to you"
Relius would say as his shoulder length pink hair would simply be resting over his shoulders and he wuld raise an inquisitive eyebrow towards the newcomer.
"quiet a lovely afternoon if i say so myself. the season is changing slowly. the summer to the fall. perhaps even the wonderful call of the day would be considered... quiet a change."
relius would state as even if he was not quiet the most reasonable individual in energy arts. he was capable of telling that the person was quiet a strong willed individual. A testament to his quiet observations of the world and their coming's and goings. the man had traveled many places in his time so encountering the "gifted" was not so much as unusual. It was expected.

Once she came around the corner that gave sight into the park of Karakura the Fullbringer could immediately see the Failure sitting on one of the many benches in the park. It was quite unusual she thought that this Failure possessed pink hair. The last Failure had also had hair of the pink coloration. They were such a rare type of spiritual entity that the fact both of them shared such a strong physical appearance was quite an oddity. That mattered very little though and as the entity spoke Nami could confirm that it was male and at least to some degree was aware of the world around him. Nami now walking forwards at a casual pace her face a blank slate of reality. Although now she could feel things like most others could she had yet to start accepting what she felt choosing instead to stay to herself and keep her emotions at bay almost like they were being stored in a vault unable to breach their way through to the surface.
Getting to the Failure only took a few moments and while she walked it was easy to notice the scene at play around the Failure. So much had already died from him simply sitting there or at least that's how it looked at the moment yet it was possible that he had done it intentionally prior to her seeing him. Speaking of the environment around both of them as she reached him Nami simply starred into the eyes of the Failure her own cold silver eyes giving away that within her Nami was frozen and emotionally didn't possess the limitation of being empathetic. "If you are intentionally effecting what's around you cease it now. What is your name and why're you in Karakura Town?" Nami was getting right now to the important things she wished to know not wanting to give this Failure any oppurtunity to effect anything else negatively.
Well by the girl simply entering the feild it would not become apparent to her initially. Still it wasnt anything too terrifying. Thus the girl kept approaching. So as a proper gentleman he folded the paper and looked directly at her now. What were pupiles of his once a starking blue. were now hues of sky blue having gone through the initial life time prior.
Yet this girl seemingly was voided of the pleasures of life. Or better placed a chosen word. Her eyes were simply the eyes of one who was voided. Either that or it was by choice. Her face may remain blank but her words spoke otherwise. Which with a freindly smile, and a simple head bow he adressed the girl with light warm voice.
"oh im just passing through. Im known as relius. But on the upside it is a pleasure miss."
Relius would simply do an inclining nodd to the girl then she requested the impossible. In which he simply sighed and looked a bit down
" ah if i had the means to simply stop this all. Trust me i would. But it cannot be helped. It is rare that i show up in many cases. Most the time i am simply induldged with my writing, or i am simply fishing till i run low on paper and pens. A quick shop around would do the case for me. Before you know it i am gone."
Relius simply stated. His buisness was merely simple and rather dull. As it was a simple flash of his charismatic nature in the whole. A man that rather than simply fight back.
"It gets to a person when you watch so many things die. But thats what happens when you die a broken man. Only through seeking a greater truth do we find some awnsers in life."

It was even more obvious now that the Failure who was sitting on the park bench was one that hadn't began to truly develop his spiritual abilities yet was still like Failure lore spoke of powerful enough to effect the environment around him. That was the main issue at the moment as it was causing damage to the park that so many of the Karakura citizens enjoyed coming to in order to relax outside. Nami couldn't allow any further danger to the park even if the Failure wasn't intentionally doing it. She allowed him to speak simply listening to what he had to say as her facial expression or rather lack there of didn't change. Once he was finished speaking Nami was prepared to speak to him and get Karakura out of danger.
"If what you seek are instruments and equipment to continue writing then I'll bring you to one now so long as you leave Karakura afterwards." Nami would wait to see what the Failure was going to say or do. It seemed to her that this entity didn't have anything to live for at all. As he spoke again about how it seems he died a broken man and now he was out for truth Nami didn't quite understand. There was no point in her opinion and one couldn't die broken. When one died the purpose for their life was either complete or it had been stopped by someone with a alternate purpose. "Is seeking truth the purpose of your existence?"
relius merely smiled and nodded at the girl's simple request. His time in any populated area was small, around at the most a week as he chose to not simply blend in fully and relaxed in the forests of the outskirts of the large city complex. Only arriving out at night when individuals were asleep or small isolated areas of the city during the days like parks. Although here it was fairly vacant and so there was that. in that note relius did simply comply in his own way as the thing was that the girl was merely by the simple looks of it concerned for the safety of others. Admirable, But he was many steps ahead of the girl in the safety regards.
"no worries it is easy enough i shall be gone by at the latest a week. the time needed to simply get a good look at this town as it may be a long time till i get to see such a place. Most places on this land are nice. As other places well they tend to have the lack of liveliness of these continents."
relius simply addressed as he was being honest. It was refreshing as the need to avoid survival and such for merely the best part of the job. in that regard relius thought for a moment on the girl's simple question. From this there was very little in common. He glanced at a big larger picture. seeking more to why the gears worked the way they do. As opposed to the girl by the simple consideration he gave her in the brief moment of simple studying her. The posture of authority being wielded or trying to in that case. nothing short of workings of a tool although loose in the terms of a working tool. but more on a leash.
eh it is rare that a person simply needs to be blunt unless they are constantly engulfed in their wish to hold duty. For most part this is nothing short of the girl needing to dive into motives. Although i have little to hide. Still lets cast a reel into the girl for a moment and fish through her thoughts. see where she stands.
relius thought as he finally answered her question for her..
" some say a person must make amends to their actions and their selfishness, and/or their unwillingness to change. The truth as one would or was raised to believe is something that can set you free. But i only seek it to understand what makes the very gears of a personality, and their determination works. Why do we hold ourselves in a cycle of life and death? why must the soul of the individual remember what it was or forget some details in life. I can only assume this is because we are only meant to keep rolling in a ring whether we are dragging our feet, or simply swept by the motions. We all know that the simple void of a being is merely a shell of what was. To be disoriented and warped by time and consumption of others. But there truly is not a point in that there correct? they cannot stop consuming for what they have lost is the essence of their being, so then are we like a finite source of life. just to not in this incarnation but some incarnation down the line. Will we all in the end become mindless consumers of souls. Or perhaps there are other way's to see down new paths. The truth in the end will answer all of this, but at what cost? these are commonly the questions i ask something that we may only speculate, but in the end will we ever truly know?
relius gestured for the girl to simply take a seat as he spoke pausing and offering a kind smile. It was rare that he had anyone to talk to. The one thing he truly missed, and loathed being a failure of his calibure. conversations were scarce. nothing too large, or too great in the case of himself. but still eager and hungry for another perspective so he can ponder it quietly as he sat in his isolation.
"The hollows merely the soul in the shell. dead and lost in their indulgence. only to be vanquished and no more. Even a human that has died simply runs a full circle. but if there was something better to offer other then the deterioration and destabilization of a being's core. It would do much more great don't you agree? in the end the force that governs such a cycle of credulity, love, and joy. only shows to say no matter how strong one may get. the very truth will break them to their core. I seek to know why? why must it always run so far ahead of our grasp?" [/color]

Nami listened to what the Failure had to say, ALL he had to say. It was only through Nami's lack of most emotions and what she did have were less than what most people usually felt that she was able to continue standing in place with her expression remaining non-existent. After the Failure was finished speaking though Nami could tell that the Failure although he was long winded and causing a constant effect to the world around him wasn't one that seemed to wish intentional harm. Although she couldn't have him stay in Karakura for long this at least meant that she didn't have to worry about him attacking any of the citizens of Karakura.
"Do you like the sound of your voice?" Nami had heard many humans say this when someone else had been talking for more than a few sentences. Although she was oblivious to how rude it actually was she knew that it was common to say it when one spoke so long. "I don't believe it matters how life exists because it does. There isn't anything anyone can do about life other than take it away or keep it safe. I live my life with a purpose like all should otherwise there's no reason to exist." Nami always believed this way yet her purpose had changed on the surface yet the true purpose of her existence would never change that much Nami was certain of.
Relius laughed at the girls first question. As it was truly funny. Although it was a gleam into the depths of lonliness he endured each day. Taking a breath relius glanced at the girl with an amused look. He heard the rest that she said as well and simply had a smile to it.
"Perhaps when you too are alone for too long. Your voice may be your only comforting grace. I learned long ago to know that my voice is a comforting safe haven for myself. But like all intellegent beings. We do not seek to babble to our own shadow. Nor do i want to simply talk to the wind. I seek others for vertification of my thoughts.... imagine if you were voided of the world around you. The people, family... freinds, and even your leaders and thoes you inspire to follow. All gone. This life is lonely. I can know this better then anyother. When life decays around you and not even the roaches, wish to stand near you. You have it bad you see."
As if to emphisis there was a golden hue sorrounding him summary being that it was merely the force that was drained from the poor creatures, plants, and even the girl herself. Although not intentional. He simply sat there.
" can you imagine that where you step. Almost all flee. Just because of your prescence.... i grew to understand this over time you see. Wether you inately belive that life is to be taken or lived. It is only a two deminsional way to be thinking. Going forward or backwards. Point A to point B. In time you look to the plants and know that they too simply wither and fall. But to that last instant. They hold onto what is theirs. Their life. Because of purpose. Because of duty. Somewhere in the blueprint of creation. Even a rock holds the steadfast will to stay together."
Relius stated as he smiled at the girl and took a step. The bench seemed as if it too was voided of its own health and life force as well. More creaky. Yet all was not gone.
"If you are steady in your belif walk with me. I mapped out the quieter areas away from people. I would like to learn about this town. The spiritually powerful seem more abundant here then most other places. As if it was a small... or better said. Large area of spiritual gathering. You can tell even behind the writing of people here. They ask more questions then the average paper."
Relius stated as he kept the girl at a safe 8-10 feet from him and walked past her. Should she follow relius would simply walk as he would continue to head almost strategically around the city. Chosing quiet back alleys and seemingly with the delicate hand of a surgion he would make his way without even encountering a normal induvidual. Aslthough the hue seemed to grow.
Husks of insects, even birds managedctheir distance only to eat their meal while watching relius with beady eyes. The man was however careful. He would with occasion mutter a "sorry" as he would walk. Although not in control of it. He was aware and concious. He walked till he reached the outskirts of the city and sat on a dead patch of grass.
Wiping a few tears away softly from his eyes as he now took a breath.
