1. Life is but a Walking Shadow

In this thread, Himitsu confronts Shunsui Kasumi'Oji in an effort to weed out corruption from the Gotei 13. While Shunsui's conflicted by his allegiance to his family and his desire to do good in the world, Himitsu makes a strong impression on his fellow Lieutenant. Shunsui ultimately decides to help Himitsu in his crusade against corruption. This thread both showed Himitsu that he can't make assumptions about what's inside others' hearts and also displays his ability to call people to action. That is his main strength as a leader - his ability to inspire others to believe in his own mission.

2. Jack-O-Lanterns in July

In this thread, Himitsu returned to Soul Society with his memories and challenged July Kasumi'Oji for the leadership of their family. He learned after the fight that by challenging July in combat, he had been too aggressive too quickly, but Himitsu managed to convince his cousin to join his cause as well. He was able to persuade July to share his leadership position and make Himitsu his co-head of the family so that he could help Himitsu push his policy forward. This thread depicts Himitsu's ability to turn even those who may initially be opponents into his allies.

3. Brick by Brick

As the new Captain of Squad 7, Himitsu's newest challenge is strengthening the squad. In this social, Himitsu meets with his new Vice Captain Kaen Youji about the new policies he wishes to implement. Kaen is skeptical of Himitsu and his plans, especially considering that he did not respect the previous Squad 7 Captain. Despite Kaen's reservations, Himitsu is able to win Kaen's respect and convince him to execute his proposed changes. Together, they'll lead Squad 7 to a bright future.
