Circumstances: Wycliff (Class 4, Third Seat of Squad 13) is eating some pop rocks at the beach and Yoko (Class 2, Senior Employee of Uzaki Enterprises) spikes a volleyball nearby getting sand all over his stupid candy. Apparently this makes him mad.

Ah, what a beautiful day it was! It was the first day that Yoko had off since getting back into civilization. Clearly this meant she needed to head off go have some fun. Yeah, sure, she could have gone in to work on her day off and gotten some of the backlog taken care of, but where was the fun in that? Yoko had mellowed out a bit more over the last few years, and understood that it was important for her to take care of herself as well. But try though she might, it seemed like some sick part of her missed all the sand from being deployed to bumfuckistan and she had ended up at the beach on her day off.

Despite the fact that she went to the beach, she wasn’t obviously dressed for the occasion. Yeah, there was a bathing suit there technically, but it was hiding beneath some other layers. It was just a touch colder out than Yoko would have liked it, especially given that she was used to the scorching heat of the Middle East lately, so she had decided to keep some layers on until she opted for a swim. She was dressed in a rather plain outfit, though it might have been a bit dark for such warm weather. Her tank top, shorts, and tights were all nice and black, as were the gloves and hoodie she had on. The last piece at least had some red for accents to break up the monotony. She also had a rucksack with her with some beach gear as well, though that was a near-clash at a medium shade of gray. Standard issue surplus gear couldn’t always be perfectly fashionable now could it?

Truth be told she honestly wasn’t sure why she had ended up at the beach of all places. She didn’t particularly enjoy this place, or swimming, or sand. In the end she found herself on an idle walk along the beach. And no, before you ask, she didn’t consider this a great date idea. She rather hated that cliché. It wasn’t a great place to collect her thoughts either. There were plenty of people about, and perhaps that’s what the draw was for her. She enjoyed people watching. Trying to predict them was always a good challenge for her to try and sharpen her analytical ability. Lord knows she needed to brush up on how normal humans acted a bit after so many months hanging out with nothing but jarheads.

For quite some time she found nothing of particular interest. Most of the activity was painfully mundane. After quite a bit of walking she finally found something worth looking into. A gang of dude bros were accosting a group of younger children at a volleyball court. ”Suh dudes, this is our court now. Go color or something.” Jesus Christ it was impressive how fast those men ended up on her shit list. It would’ve been one thing if they had been polite, or even just not sounded so goddamn stupid. What the hell was “suh” even supposed to be!? She swore popular culture was getting dumber and dumber by the day.

”Actually how about you let them keep their court? They were there first.” She hadn’t been able to stop herself from interjecting. The dudebros seemed taken aback for a second. She watched as the gears in their heads turned for a few moments as they struggled to come up with something moronic enough to say. ”How about you suck my dick?” A flash of rage struck Yoko for a moment before she calmed herself. She was ready to destroy them. Not utterly, just in spirit. ”Fine then. We’ll play for it. All four of you against little old me. Normal rules, so I only get to hit it once since I have no one to pass to. First to 11. If I win, you fuck off. If you win, I’ll suck it.”

They had been ignoring her right up until those last few words. She knew how to manipulate guys like that. It wasn’t what you’d call challenging given how single minded their brains were. ”Oh you’re on now! Don’t you back down on our wager when we beat you!” Of course Yoko had made that wager because she had a zero percent chance of losing a contest of physical ability to normal humans. Every time the ball came over the net she appeared in front of it immediately and spiked it down into the ground without mercy. Given her superhuman speed, it was literally impossible for a normal human to defend. She had held back her strength a good deal until she had match point in her sights, and it was at that moment that she spiked it hard enough to create an explosion of sand that covered the surrounding area for dozens of feet in any direction.

”I believe that’s match fuckbois.”

[Wycliff]

The gentle sound of the waves crashing against the shore slowly started to be replaced with car engines followed by the voices of people walking down and looking for a spot to set up. Along with the sun's rays starting to slowly hit him on his face caused Wycliff to awaken from his sleep, he had been there since last night simply enjoying the night time atmosphere and the view of the stars. This had been one of those days that he had off from working in his squad so camping out on a beach was a prime way to spend his day off. It was early morning by the time he woke up fully to see that a few people had gathered at the beach to enjoy this somewhat brisk day.

In a borrowed gigai he had been wearing a pair of black and white board shorts that reached his knees and a simple pair of black sunglasses, that was it. There wasn't a need for anything else as he was laying back on a black towel with a smaller blue beach umbrella if he really needed it to keep out of the sun. This was the start to a very good day, the smell of the ocean, the sound of the waves and the sight of beautiful women running around in bikinis, almost as beautiful as that french fullbringer he met so long ago, he wondered what happened to her, but that was neither here nor there given he was currently watching the girls in front of him.

Not wanting to waste the day simply watching the girls walk around he got out some tanning oil and got to work on a tan. While this was utterly useless for him given that it was a gigai that he was in and the skin of the gigai would tan not his own he still felt as if it would accomplish something even though it really would be nothing more than a waste of time and effort to try and tan the skin of gigai that honestly probably couldn't even tan. Either way as he coated his body in the tanning oil and placed his headphones in from the beach bag that he had brought to the beach he started to drift off back to sleep once more, not giving a care in the world about anything just trying to enjoy his day off before something inevitably happened.

Several hours later Wycliff awoke once more to see the progress, and take a look around to see what was going on. The nap that he had gotten was nice, he ended up dreaming about the old squad he was a part of, the fun times he had and the lack of responsibilities in that squad. Sadly there had been no progress on the tan as a few soft clouds had covered the sun for the most part, making tanning utterly impossible A little upsetting, but not a total loss as there was always next time, not much could really make him upset, Wycliff was way too laid back to care about that and given that people were still around and enjoying themselves it seemed as if the sky would clear up soon enough.

Well if tanning wasn't going to work at the very least he would enjoy his favorite treat while at the beach with a soda that he had intended to go to his captain, but he figured that the captain wouldn't miss something that he never knew existed. Digging back into his blue bag he shuffled some things around looking for both the off brand soda that he had bought as well as the last bag of pop rocks that he had brought with him to the beach, yea he would be out, but he could always make a quick trip back to the soul society to grab more. Not a really valid use of the senkaimon, but heck who was going to tell him off? His captain? Naw and if so he could always promise him a soda and apologies for it later.

Wycliff cracked open the soda first before ripping the top off of the pop rocks ready to enjoy the mix of the soda's fizzyness in his mouth with the popping of the pop rocks. The best of both worlds in terms of random candy and soda mixing. Well that was till it happened, out of the corner of his eye he saw the ball heading nearby, but there was nothing he could do, it was too far out and he was still sitting on the beach towel, as if a bomb had gone off everything in the next few seconds for Wycliff seemed to happen in slow motion for him.

As the volleyball made contact with the ground he could see the sand slowly start to kick up off the ground and into the air. Each grain of sand slowly creeping it's way closer and closer to him, but more importantly his pop rocks. Only able to watch in horror as his last wondrous treat was assaulted with the course grainy salty sand that made up the beach. When the sand finally hit him and the pop rocks the whole world started to return back to it's normal pace and he heard the sound of a woman proclaiming victory over someone else, sadly for her one victory lead to another challenge.

It didn't matter that Wycliff was a nice guy, heck Wycliff was the nice guy. You wanted someone to help move your place on a Tuesday afternoon with no notice, Wycliff was your man. An old lady he didn't know was having issues crossing the street, Wycliff would carry her over and ask if she needed any more help. A kid lost their parents he would make it his mission to make sure that they would be reunited. None of that now mattered, because someone had messed with his pop rocks and it didn't matter who it was, they had fucked up. It didn't matter if they didn't mean it, they had messed up and now came the beast, the person that Wycliff hated to become he was out and about.

Looking up at the woman who claimed victory Wycliff slowly stood up glaring at her as he stood upright fully. This was his target and anyone else in the area was just collateral damage right now. He hopped that everyone would run as soon as everything started to happen, because if not there would be countless new cases of healthy young people becoming cocaine addicts. Still in his gigai and without warning he muttered under his breath the phrase that he had only said a few times in his life while also reciting the incantation of a kido in his mind. “Just one time, Chūdoku” Suddenly the air around him would change, the pleasant calm aura would be engulfed by a dark and sickly atmosphere.

The pure white blade that he had drawn from his soul changed to a much darker and gray great sword with a skull with horns curling back as the guard. Wycliff had released his Shikai and was ready to fight. However at the same moment he did so he finished his incantation. Suddenly six rings of light would wrap around the woman trying to hold her in place. He had used Rikujokoro  in order to hold the woman in place and set up for the next attack, this was all assuming that this particular girl wasn't able to dodge. Normally he would simply kill the person, however this was the worst part of Wycliff and he had taken a fancy to the way she looked, he wanted to have fun and toy with her mentally and physically before he would offer her the sweet release of death.

Cocaine was oozing out of the blade painting the black towel that he was standing on white and massing around his feet as the substance seemed to have a never ending supply. Swinging his blade in front of him he launched out a massive wave of cocaine that started to move towards where the blond girl was or should have been if she was still trapped by his kido. This would only be the start, but for now as he started to get more of his power back he would wait to see how this poor girl would react, him not knowing that the person that he attacked was a fullbringer and one that was actually a bit stronger than him in some regards.

It appeared that Yoko had goofed. Yes, she had won the volleyball match, but those children weren’t about to get their court back any time soon. Honestly, at the rate things were headed, it was unlikely anyone would get a chance to play volleyball for quite a long time. Yoko had no clue who this individual was, why they were there, or why they were so mad, but it didn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out to figure out what was going on. That final smash of the game had somehow agitated this man. No, he was no mere man. That style of phrase. That surge of energy. That shape of blade. This man was a Shinigami plain as day.

Though Shinigami were good guys, based on the situation at hand, it appeared that this man was not one of the heroes. Great. They’d given her another reason to despite them. Out of nowhere the man had released his Zanpakuto. That much was apparent even without energy sensory just by hearing him speak and the obvious physical change. Yoko’s initial reaction was not defensive. Instead, as loud as her mighty lungs allowed her to below she screamed out a warning to the civilians of the beach. ”Terrorist Attack! Run!” Honestly, it wasn’t the best way to get people going towards safety, but at least the few close by to her picked up on the orders.

She didn’t have any time to utter a single additional word before six bars of light formed around her. It wasn’t a spell that she was familiar with, but figuring out that this was both a hostile act and bad to let touch you was easy enough. She could have dodged in a few different ways, but a number of circumstances left her with only one truly viable option. Perhaps she could have dodged with a step of Bringer Light, but fleeing didn’t send the right message. This man had attempted to attack her, and had endangered civilians, for no obvious reason. It was a snap judgment, but Yoko was sure of it. This man was pure evil. No just man could commit these acts.

In the instant before the light hit her, the Master of Kunlun tensed and flexed every muscle in her body at once. This was the ultimate defensive application of Fist of Unbroken Air. A sphere of wind blew out from around her and impacted all of the bars at the same time. The two forces met in a clash, and though the spiritual energies of this Bakudo were great, Yoko’s defensive style of shockwaves that she called the Fist of Unbroken Air quite literally outclassed them. It’s raw power was a bit higher, but her technique was simply in a class of it’s own by comparison to a mid-level spell. The end result was that the technique was blown away by the raw air pressure, its course reversed from the intended direction as it was caught in the outward flow of air from the Fullbringer.

This man wasn’t about to get off that easy though. As Yoko tensed her muscles, she proclaimed the four words a villain never wanted to hear. ”I AM GUNDAM! AEGIS!” Just the release alone wouldn’t have been fast enough, and that’s where the first technique had come in. But release she had. This man was a villain, and he would be treated as such. Her dark blue reiatsu flowed out from the ID card stashed in her pocket and coated her entire body. Particle by particle they flickered and changed in color, their saturation draining away to pure white. Within an instant it was done, and she stood there in all the glory of her penultimate release.

What was before the man was no longer a slender young woman, but a human sized suit of mechanized armor. Her entire body was coated in this white armor, barring some clear sections where her eyes could see out, and some grey in the joints, hands, and feet. In her right hand was an absolutely monstrous blade, easily bigger than her own body: Dragonslayer. In her left hand was nothing at the moment, but a careful observer would notice the rifle strapped to her back underneath a shield. An even more careful observer would notice the small white tube on her left hip that wasn’t present on the right hip. These were the weapons that would be used to take down this villain.

”I will not permit you to endanger these civilians. Have at thee!” Her voice echoed out in defiance as the bloodlusted Shinigami charged at her with his sword. With her senses that eclipsed even many animals Yoko was able to notice that something white dripped off the blade and stained the towel the man had been standing on. That was only a hint towards what came next though. The man swung his blade at range, and a wave of white… something… flew out of it. She wasn’t sure what it was exactly, but her eyes were sharp enough to see it was made of lots of little specs. Was it a flour power?

Honestly, it was hard to say exactly what it was, but the rule of “don’t get hit by the thing the enemy did” is usually a good one. Yoko lazily dragged her comically oversized blade up off the ground up to her left shoulder. From there, it briefly looped around to help adjust the grip from underhand to overhand and she violently swept the blade at shoulder height towards her right. For some, these maneuvers would be problematic with such a large blade, but her strength was more than adequate to wield such a large hunk of metal with ease. The odd part to the untrained eye was that she had launched this attack while her opponent was still a good 50 feet away.

Of course there was a reason for this. She had utilized Blade of Severing Air, which was an expansion on the earlier Fist of Unbroken Air. This technique let her push the air in front of just the very edge of her sword. Though this was normally a razor-thin slicing attack, it worked a bit differently than normal with such an oversized blade, especially since she swung with the flat of the blade towards her opponent this time. With the increase in attack surface came reduced effectiveness at refining the air current down to a razor’s edge, but it also meant a physically larger attack than with a normal sized blade. In the end the result was that a rush of air that was physically forced along by the raw strength behind her sword swing.

The rush of air, though hard to see, would be obvious enough when the two attacks met halfway between the fighters. In fact, it would be obvious before even that, as it first sent the volleyball net flying skywards before impacting the white powder. This raw gust of wind hit with force equivalent to Yoko physically using her sword in the same space, and there hadn’t been enough space for it to dissipate at all. Had she used the edge of the weapon it would have cut clean through it due to the considerably higher offensive power that she had, but that was not quite the case this time. Since she struck with the flat of the blade, the impact was more dispersed, and instead blew the attack backwards and outwards. It did, however, have enough substance to prevent her Blade of Severing Air from going any farther.

Though Yoko didn’t quite know for sure if he was a “Garra-type” or not, there was a good chance that such a defense was a temporary measure at best. Many military advisors would lecture about how the best defense is a good offense… or maybe that was football coaches. Doesn’t matter. Yoko figured that if he was busy defending, then maybe he wouldn’t be up for attacking. Her blade continued it’s path, looping farther and rotating out to the side so that the tip pointed behind her. At the same time that she took a step forward, her left hand rose to grip the end of the hilt. As her foot hit the ground, her arms pulled the enormous blade down in an overhead slash, this time with the edge pointed towards her opponent.

Another Blade of Severing Air was launched towards him, this one razor thin. Though the attack was invisible to the naked eye, the lingering powder in the air would make it easier to detect, and her opponent had just seen her use this technique. The chance of a hit was admittedly low, but if it did hit, the sheer difference in raw physical strength would likely end up slicing clean through this man. All was not well though, as this technique took a considerable toll on the weapon used to create it. With a mere two uses a single, long crack had formed in Dragonslayer. The blade would only survive a handful more uses before shattering, especially since that first use seemed to be more stressful than usual since it was used in a slightly unconventional way.

This whole sequence was a fluid motion that lasted only a matter of seconds. The path of her blade was a series of well-rehearsed movements that she had practiced hundreds of times before. Usually not with such a large blade mind you, but given Yoko’s penchant for summoning bizarrely shaped blades this was hardly the first time she had used something like this. As she finished the final swing of her three-motion combo of rising to level it, the swipe across her shoulders, and the final overhead below, she exhaled a long, calm breath. As that breath left her body, she felt the rejuvenating sensation of reiatsu pouring back into her body from GN Drive, the property of her Fullbring that converted sunlight into reiatsu. It didn’t help her stamina, which always did take a hit from releasing though. There were some clouds at the moment blocking out the sun, so it wasn’t operating at maximum efficiency, but it was still enough. Besides, the clouds would pass eventually. Despite the absurdity, she was right at home in a situation like this, and felt ready to continue on.

Also, length can be made shorter than is pictured at will. Finally, rather than cutting like a normal blade, it cuts more lightsaber style, using thermal energy. This gives it some alternative uses like melting ice and such, but the power is still determined by the normal attack stat during combat, and the thermal thing is only really noteworthy for flavor or non-combat situations.

Technique Element: [Wind]

Technique Description and Effects: [This technique is something developed by Yoko after mastering Low Pressure, and reaching a truly high level of strength. Those with incredible strength are generally able to fire of shockwaves of raw power that can unleash terrible devastation. Such shockwaves have even been known to bypass Hierro. An unintended side effect of Low Pressure was that her shockwaves did not develop in the same way as most high-strength fighters. Instead of striking so hard that she shatters the air, her strength lets her "push" the air. At the most basic level, the difference between shockwaves and this technique is that the shockwave will "punch" things and this technique will "push" things.

Effectively, this technique allows Yoko to use her physical prowess to send out blasts of air. At learned or proficient status, it is only good for basic, ki-blast style gusts of wind from the hands or feet. The bursts of wind push things with force equivalent to Yoko's physical strength. That's the thing though. This technique doesn't cause direct damage, it just sends things flying. Granted, those who horribly neglect their strength may still get injured. If Yoko's physical strength exceeds that of the target by at least five times (ie: less than 160 strength target when Yoko has 800 strength) then they will still suffer bruising on impact. If her strength exceeds theirs by ten times (ie: less than 80 strength target when Yoko has 800 strength) then broken bones are expected. On the off chance that Yoko manages to exceed their strength by twenty times (ie: less than 40 strength target when Yoko has 800 strength) the impact alone is likely to incapacitate them. However, ALL impact damage is completely negated by any skin defense (ie: Hierro) or armor that can withstand at least one fifth of Yoko's strength (ie: Fancy Suit Mk 1 or Amaya's Tattersall Bindings). That won't stop them from going flying though, unless the defense specifically negates stuff like that (looking at you, Blut).

Regardless, the real risk of injury is what happens when they STOP moving. Slamming into walls at high speeds is rarely fun without high strength. If an emeny is hit by Fist of Unbroken Air, then they will go flying at a speed equal to Yoko's strength. The strength of this technique technically works off of impact strength, since it is a martial technique. That means it can be combo'd with techniques like Impact, and can bypass the 3x cap.

Mastery grants a finer level of control. The gusts of wind can be shaped to a degree. With mastery, Yoko can do things like change the gust to be a thin stream of air, a crescent, or even a sphere. Only simple shapes though. No sending any realistic drawings of Ben Franklin at anyone with this technique. The other advantage of mastery is that Yoko can launch the technique from any muscle she can flex. Tensing up everything at once can even briefly create a sphere of air around her that repels any weaker attack! Mastery also allows this to be used with weapons, assuming the user has a 3 in that weapon skill. Really though, the best perk of mastery in Yoko's eyes is the ability to hold back. With mastery the strength of this technique can be reduced as low as 1/10th of her current strength.

As a purely martial technique, this does not cost any reiatsu. Despite that, the gusts of air can clash with reiatsu. If the margin is close enough that the techniques cancel out, then the other technique will just be stopped in its tracks, and probably explode. If the margin is high enough that Fist of Unbroken Air completely overpowers the other technique, it will actively redirect it back along the path that Fist of Unbroken Air was following.]

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [At learned or proficient: punch or kick without holding strength back, and a blast of air comes out. With mastery, any movement or muscle flexed can send a burst of wind flying.]

Technique Drawbacks: [First, there are strict requirements to learn this technique. A minimum of 800 strength is required, as well as a 3 in one of two martial arts (listed above). A previous technique is required to be mastered, and that technique requires points in Calm Mind. Also, like Low Pressure caused Gravity Crushing to be lost forever, Fist of Unbroken Air causes the basic shockwave ability to be forever lost. Also, this technique will basically never do damage against a fighter of equal class unless they are standing next to a brick wall and have both low strength and no defenses. It's more of a defensive counterpart to shockwaves, which limits the damage output significantly. Oh, it can also be completely resisted (like, the target won't even move an inch) if they have strength 50% higher than Yoko. Others can resist being blown away by a variety of methods, including random stuff like Soul Commanding the ground they're standing on to be really sticky.]

Technique Description and Effects: [Probably one of the simplest techniques that Yoko has created, this one just applies the principles of Fist of Unbroken Air to the very edge of a blade. This just means that the edge of her blade is all that impacts the air. Since it's just that edge hitting the air, a very thin section of the air is displaced, creating an almost two-dimensional slice of strength. All that's noteworthy is that, like Fist of Unbroken Air, it can be held back to as little as 10% of her strength. The air slices fired off by this technique have a size based on the arc of the sword, but both expand and lose power as they travel.

This is a purely martial and air technique. That means the standard things apply. No reiatsu cost here, and the attack is invisible since it's made of air. It's based on impact strength, so it will work with both pulley and impact. Mastery doesn't grant anything fancy this time. Just normal "it's really easy to use" status. The projectile travels at a speed equal to the strength of the user.

One of the cool things about this technique is what happens when it doesn't work so well. Since it's based on Fist of Unbroken Air, it's more than just a cutting technique. If this technique hits something that it's unable to cut through, such as a skin defense, or a shield, instead of just fizzling out, the projectile spreads out a little bit upon impact and applies the base results of Fist of Unbroken Air instead. Rather than being utterly useless against a superior (or even equal) defense, this technique will just send them flying instead! That means that against most anything, (looking at you again Blut), it can be used to some advantage.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): [Use Fist of Unbroken Air with the sharp edge of a blade.]

Technique Drawbacks: [First off, this technique requires a minimum of 600 strength to use, and a minimum of a 3 in swords or some type of bladed weapon. Requires proficiency of Fist of Unbroken Air to learn, and mastery of that technique is required to master this one. This technique must always be telegraphed, as it only works with a slashing motion, and a bladed weapon. At strength/10 feet, power drops to 75%, but size doubles. At strength/5 feet, it drops to 50%, but size triples (from the original). At strength/2 feet, the attack dissipates completely. This won't bypass skin defenses or anything like that. It's just as effective as being slashed by Yoko's sword. No more and no less, so it's really just adding some range, and making it harder to see.

The real downside of this technique is the strain on the weapon itself. Any non-spiritual steel blade, that doesn't have an inherent toughness property, will feel the full force of the blow as well. With any normal sword, it will shatter after a single use of this technique. Spiritual Steel blades fare a bit better. After three swings, they will show a crack or two. After five, the blade will be severely cracked, and will be able to be broken with a single point of stat superiority. After the seventh use of this technique with the same blade, it will instantly shatter. The only blades that can survive this are things like Plasma Blades, or Yoko's Beam Sabres, which can reform the blade portion of it on-demand. ]

Wycliff's face soured as he saw the fate that behled the kido that he had casted . It had landed, it had held the female in place and would have resulted in her being hit by his wave of cocaine and her joining him in the bliss that is the drug he creates. Joining the countless lives that this drug affects and makes them it's slave. Enjoying the ecstasy that it has to offer and the escape from the harshness of life that it could bring to her life before he would end it with a sudden and final strike through the heart. However it seemed that he had underestimated the female which resulted in an out come that was less than favorable for him.

That young blonde female female who he assumed was a simple human was able to get out of his kido. Not only was she able to get out of it, but she was able to completely destroy it instantly the moment it had connected. Even as the wave of cocaine he originally planed to send to her continued on it's path he was shocked by this very fact. A human of all things had broken his kido, a kido that should have rendered someone entirely helpless and unable to do anything. One he had used so many times before in stopping foes and keeping them from attacking or dodging further.

The fact that she had done such a thing without using so much as a bit of reiatsu as far as he could tell meant that she was powerful. Power to match her beauty it seemed as the kido he had used had been reinforced with his incantation to make it even stronger than normal. Such a kido was hard to break which meant that she was strong enough to deal with at least some of his higher level kido that he normally used to incapacitate foes. He wondered for a brief moment if any of the kido he had would be able to hold her down while he injected the pleasure that was his drug into her body.

Yet his intrigue quickly turned into anger as he started to understand what this meant for him and for the revenge he had planned. He was pissed given that it would take longer than he assumed to let her join the white god and be one with it's essence. All this meant that it would take more time to have his fun with her both mentally and physically before he would discard her to the side like the three dollar crack whore that she was about to become. Like so many more before her she would learn the truth, that no matter how strong someone is, in the end Wycliff's special snow will break down your mind and render you nothing more than a broken shell.

Still given that she was able to beat down his kido with only her physical strength he wasn't about to go and jump in head first into a physical fight. To have that sort of physical strength to push back the kido with her strength alone meant that she was clearly hitting well above the strength that he has and was able to use abilties that could be stronger in class than anything else he had. This wasn't a fight that he could take head on, he had to wait and see what else this female would do in order to gain any sort of advantage that he could. If not this fight was going to end one way, with him in the ground.

As he watched her he licked his lips eyeing her body one last time before she activated her fullbring. Watching it form around her Wycliff could only think of one thing. Did this bitch really just make a god damn fucking gundam appear out of thin fucking air? Followed by him disliking the fact that she had covered up. “What's wrong sugar tits, don't like me eyeing you? Don't worry you'll be stripping for me soon.” He let out a cackle at the end licking his blade allowing some of the cocaine to get into his body. Sadly for Wycliff he couldn't get high off of his own stuff, but that didn't matter right now.

Fullbrings were difficult to deal with, most of them had strange and odd powers that he didn't' quite understand nor care to. It's not like he had to deal with so many fullbringers on a daily basis that he should learn what they do and how they do it. No all he needed to know was that she had a fullbring and he needed to deal with it's power. At the very least it wasn't an arrancar or a fellow shingami, that would have been bad. Especially given that she had called him a terrorist and deemed him as a bad guy. He wasn't a bad guy, she just messed with his pop rocks.

What's more after that it seemed that her fullbring would be a bit more annoying to deal with than that of other fullbrings. Most fullbrings he had seen were weapons, maybe a shield or a random item that really didn't have an obvious use. They still left the user exposed and vulnerable most of the time. Her having an armor made things a lot more complicated given he had to get past the armor or through it somehow. He had a few ideas, but nothing concrete at the moment as he waited to see how she would deal with his wave of cocaine that he sent flying towards her. After all maybe it was all for show and he over reacted.

His massive wave of cocaine that he sent out flying towards her was pushed away by a simple sword swing. Once more she had proven her strength, yet at the same time she had played her hand allowing him to understand what she had done before and what had happened to his kido or at least in speculation. If on the off chance she was able to use something like that to push against his kido given it shattered his wave of cocaine then maybe it could break apart his kido, but he wasn't too sure if that was what happened or if something else did resulting from her physical strength or power he hadn't seen yet.

Watching the swing and the resulting force of air that came from it he could tell that somehow she was able to use just the force of her swing to push air in a direction and use that to attack with. Something that would be rather annoying. As it meant that any sort of attack he did would have to get passed that ability just to even have a chance to get close. He would have to dig into his other set of skills to deal with anything she could or would throw at him. In one move she had proven that he had to take the defensive and that it would be her match to lose if he wasn't careful.

For now it would seem that normal tactics that he used wouldn't work as well as he had hoped as. Still an idea formed on how to try and infect her with the cocaine to make her fall into it's bliss and join him on the side of ecstasy came into his mind. A simple yet effective plan that only the most observant of fighters could even notice happening all enhanced by one very simple yet powerful fact that would help him deceive this fullbringer. He smiled knowing that he was about to set his plan into motion with the very cloud of cocaine that she had destroyed moments earlier.

Watching her motions he could tell that another wave was coming his way and that he really didn't want to be in the way of it. The last thing he wanted was to be hit by such a force. Even if it clashed with his cocaine given that it was able to utterly destroy his wave with little effort on her part it wasn't a good idea to be even near one that he wouldn't have time to defend properly against, he had time to react, but not mount a proper defense. Still this would only help his plan that he had in store for her.

Lowing his sword to the ground he continued to spew out cocaine as he shumpoed away from the beach towel that he had brought and closer towards her left side. He stopped about twenty five feet away. All the while leaving a trail of cocaine in his path that easily covered the sand. Now was time for his plan, instead of trying to hit her with a large wave he would try the subtle approach. As the original wave of cocaine shook with the force of the second attack he started to move it slowly downwards, but towards her. The same would go for the trail of cocaine that he had made leading up to him.

The movement would be slow and hard to tell from actual actions of it just simply dancing in the wind if one wasn't paying too much attention which he hoped to get her attention with his next action. Keeping the tip of his blade pointed downwards he flooded the area in front of him with the white powder and forced a mini tsunami of the stuff towards the fullbringer. It was an easy to see attack and one that could be taken out just as well as the one before, however he was betting on keeping her distracted long enough for the rest of his powder to get into place. It wouldn't take that long but luck was on his side as he could feel a soft breeze hit his back. The wind was on his side, a factor to help him slightly.

Unsurprisingly the Shinigami had been able to detect and react to Yoko’s second Blade of Severing Air. He had vanished in a step of shunpo. Well, no, vanished isn't the right word. Between Yoko's high speed and senses she didn't have a problem tracking him. By her estimate the Shinigami’s speed was only about half of her own. Maybe a touch higher, but it was definitely in that ballpark. It was always possible he was holding back his speed though. Either way, the point was that she didn't have trouble keeping track of his movements and wasn't caught off guard by a simple step technique.

Though she hadn't fully worked out that this was a Gaara type release ability she was up against, Yoko had seen the “throw a wave of stuff at you” attack once and that was enough. She knew she could counter an attack like that with Blade of Severing Air, and didn't hesitate to do so again. She brought her blade upwards in a slash with the flat side of the blade towards her opponent’s obvious attack. It was at that moment, mid-swing, that she saw movement on the ground. It was hard to make out even with her senses, but with eyes as sharp as a hawk she caught it out of the corner of her vision.

Regardless of having noticed that, she finished up her first swing. A wide blast of air was sent out to counter that fastest wave of white powder. As was the case before, the two collided in midair and canceled each other out. However, if her opponent was paying close attention, they would realize that this blade had grown into far worse shape. The repeated use of Blade of Severing Air with such an oversized weapon took it's toll quickly. Cracks snaked back and forth along the blade, and it was clear that it wouldn't last much more than one further use of the technique before it gave out.

As for the subtler attack that crept along the beachfront, though Yoko's eyes were good, they weren't good enough to pinpoint how much of the beach was covered in the powder that fast. She had seen some movement, but determining the full size of the threat by actually looking for it was too slow. If she had more time to play “spot the white dots mixed with the slightly more yellow dots” she could pull it off, but it just wasn’t happening with a quick glance. She had seen some of it between where the Shinigami had started and ended his step technique, so the safe assumption was that she needed to defend against an attack from anywhere in that entire area between those points.

Her blade had come up overhead after the latest swing. Given the sheer area she needed to cover, Blade of Severing Air wasn't the right choice. Instead she brought the blade around in a full body spin, with the weapon dropping towards the ground as she turned. She put the full force of her strength and rotation into a swing that slammed into the ground with a semi-circular cut. Though the sand wasn't the best terrain for a move like this, its lower weight compared to something like concrete made it relatively easy for her brute strength to move. And move it did.That attack into the ground send a tremor in an arc throughout the beach, on an intercept course with the white powder on the ground.

The two forces wouldn't even clash directly, but rather the very ground that the powder skimmed along was sent hurtling backwards. It wouldn't serve to destroy the powder, but rather delayed it long enough that that specific section wasn't an immediate threat. Under the force of her raw strength, the sand bucked and rolled out in a wave not unlike those crashing out in the nearby ocean. The wave of sand would force the powder backwards, but not destroy it. Therein laid the key problem the Fullbringer had in this fight. She had no great way to outright destroy the powder. All she could really do was delay it one sword swing at a time.

If Yoko wanted to stand a chance in this fight, she had to go on the offensive before she was overwhelmed. With that thought in mind she released her grip on Dragonslayer at the end of her spinning slash. It flew from her hands with a speed and force that would put the latest hammer throw world record to shame. With the spin she had been in guiding the attack, the blade spun rapidly end over end like a deadly boomerang. It flew out at a roughly 45 degree angle, halfway between vertical and horizontal, but arced back down towards the Shinigami it was thrown at the same way a curveball might. In truth it was a subtle application of the Psychoframe System that let Yoko telekinetically control her weapon as if it was still in her hand, but such a minor use was hardly noteworthy.

For only the briefest moment Yoko was actually feeling pretty decent about her chances in this fight. She figured there was a decent chance of her ending the fight if she could land a blow, especially since her latest attack had all the momentum of her greatsword behind it. But just as she had started to worry a bit less her Warning System began going absolutely NUTS. The angry beeps came by the hundreds. No, the thousands. Even attempting to count them was nothing short of madness. A literal cacophony of digital tones filler her ear from above and to the right. Her gaze shifted that way and she saw… nothing.

That was impossible. Warning System didn’t malfunction, and her eyes were sharp enough to make out just about anything. And that’s when she realized just how annoying this fight was going to be. Trying to make out a white powder against a backdrop of puffy white clouds was utterly impossible, but Warning System had never lied to her before. She put her trust in her powers ability to warn her of danger and pivoted back towards the direction all the noise had come from. She took a deep breath in and cursed her lack of ability to sense energy. If only she could tell exactly where the stuff was, this would be so much easier! At least Warning System’s ability to detect reiatsu made up for that somewhat.

With a roar of, ”ORAORAORAORAORAOOOOOOORAAAAAH!” a flurry of punches was sent in the direction the danger was coming from. She knew she had the strength to push back the threat, even if she couldn’t see it. Though it wasn’t a good long term plan from a stamina perspective, each of those strikes utilized Fist of Unbroken Air which made them slightly more tiring than a regular punch. The barrage only took an instant with her speed, but within that moment it seemed like the weather itself had changed. A massive gust of wind leapt from her fists towards the area where there was apparently another threat, and the beeping stopped for that moment.

Though she couldn’t confirm it completely, the momentary lack of beeping logically meant the powder was blown backwards by the attack. Like with all her defenses against this troublesome release, it was only a temporary measure though. No doubt it would be back soon, but those movements had confirmed one thing beyond a shadow of a doubt: this was a Gaara-type release through and through. Yoko had to be careful to avoid assuming there were limits to how carefully the substance could be manipulated. If she was unlucky, then this power had all the same tricks as the Kazekage. Several images from one of her shonen favorites flashed through her mind. Sand armor. Sand Shuriken. Sand Shield. Even Sand Clones. All of those and more were moves she had seen on screen, and if this power was anything like she was worried about, she would at least see a decent chunk of its tricks coming.

After realizing how versatile her opponent’s power could be she knew this could well be an uphill battle if she let him control the pace of it. By this point, Dragonslayer would have reached where the Shinigami was, and Yoko turned her gaze sideways and back towards the man trying so hard to kill her. Beneath the shield on her back her rifle rotated and leveled itself to take aim. The Psychoframe System took care of the movement without her lifting a finger. As this movement happened, Yoko’s right eye’s sight was replaced by the vision of her rifle’s sight. This was how Psychoframe let her aim. It wasn’t ideal since she was blind on the right side for a mere moment while she aimed, and it was exploitable if you knew how it worked and had enough speed.

Within a moment of Dragonslayer either being obliterated somehow, finding its mark, or embedding itself in the sand, two shots rang out from the barrel of her rifle. A slight pause. Two more shots. The timing was deliberate. She waited for Dragonslayer to reach where the man had been in case she needed to adjust her aim to stay on target with her rifle. The pause before the second pair of shots was for the same reason. Even in the event her adversary chose to dodge the greatsword then her shots would still be on target. On the off chance that the damaged greatsword was somehow overcome by raw power, it was unlikely that these brand spanking new bullets would meet the same fate, especially given the number of unique projectiles.

A single shot wouldn’t necessarily end the fight though. Her target was center mass for the highest chance of a hit, and aiming with The Psychoframe System meant she was only going to have half her shots on target. She had compensated for that by firing in two shot bursts though. Each bullet had 800 strength and speed behind it, making it faster than either combatant unaided by a step technique, and just as strong as a punch from the Fullbringer. Furthermore, the bullets were part of her release, and carried its class two status with them. Clearly they weren’t something to just be brushed off despite their small size.

Really though, the trick was responding fast enough and detecting the shots in the first place though. With Yoko’s Fullbring, the surge of reiatsu occurred when the weapons first came into existence, and firing them didn’t create much more than a loud bang. Granted, that last part was decently obvious, but reacting to gunfire was still beyond the reaction speed of most humans. She was left wondering how the Shinigami would manage to deal with it. Perhaps he would simply resort to a step technique, but she was willing to bet that her supply of bullets would outlast his legs if he couldn’t come up with a better out than that.

He smiled, given what his attack had done, it forced her attention to go from his cocaine that was creeping towards her back to the obvious wave of cocaine that was heading towards her. Knowing that this attack would easily be destroyed or intercepted he had a back up idea for this attack it wouldn't be wasted and would make plenty of use of all the cocaine in the air that it had created. Even when it was spread out by her attack it had some use.

It was as the wave of air crashed against his cocaine tsunami that he saw something interesting happening to the blade that this female fullbringer was using. When she had first summoned it, the blade was a solid color and appeared to have no damage on it. As if it was a brand new blade just pulled from the kiln of a blacksmith, now that very same blade had chips and fractures all over it. It would be broken soon enough,too much stress on the blade maybe from the way she was attacking him? Either way he had a few ideas about how to deal with that sword, now that it was about to break.

As he watch the female fullbringer stab her sword that appeared to be breaking apart into the ground he got ready to launch his next attack, thinking that her doing that odd motion was pointless and rather silly. He didn't know what she was planning to do by doing that. Had she drained her stamina and was getting tired after such few swings of her blade. If that was the case then the cocaine that was creeping towards her would be her undoing and easily take her out or at least incapacitate her for the moment.

What he didn't expect was that by her slamming the blade into the ground and spinning it was an attack to counter the ground creeping cocaine that he had tried to get closer to her. The shaking of the attack was more than enough to push back the cocaine at least temporarily. Even with it being pushed back he would still slowly force it to move back into place. He wasn't about to give up the advancement that he had made with his wonder drug. It would only be a matter of time before the fullbringer would fall to it.

If the fullbringer thought that would stop his attack she would have to do so much more than just that given that even as she swiped away the cocaine that had been creeping towards her more had been spilling from his blade now coating the ground around his feet entirely in the pure white drug. The color of it blending easily with the sand everywhere. This battle ground was perfect for him as no matter where he placed the white drug it would blend easily into the sand. The advantage was his, he just had to use it to best trick and beat this fullbringer.

Tho what he didn't expect was for the fullbringer to let go of the weapon and fling it towards him, well not exactly towards him, but in the general area that he was standing in. An odd choice, but maybe she hoped that he would be hit by the blade and knocked out. He wasn't about to let that happen honestly, given that for the moment as far as he could tell she was without a weapon and would be easy to target. Still he wondered what she was planning with simply tossing away her weapon at him and not in a very directed way.

Yet a frown came across his face as he saw what the fullbringer was doing, punching the air. At first it seemed like it was random, but he knew exactly where she was punching, the cocaine that he had been slowly bringing closer and closer towards her. Pushing it away and resetting all the progress he had done with bringing it closer to her. Annoying but effected. Yet at this point it wasn't as if everything had been lost. No in fact this was a great opportunity for him to take advantage of. An opening that she had made and one that he would take advantage of.

From the chunks of cocaine that were still somewhat close to the fullbringer he launched his attack. While she was punching rapidly at the air small seeds no larger than a dime shot out and would travel nearby the fullbringer's feet. He wasn't aiming to hit her nor even have the seeds land on her, all he wanted was to get them close. He assumed that in between her rapid punching of the cocaine mist that was creeping towards her she wouldn't be able to tell that something had gotten that close to her. However this was all speculation, something could warn her, but could she react or even know what happened?

The moment the seeds would land they would instantly sprout and grow into somewhat tall trees that would stand around four to five feet in height. The growth taking less than a second would have the trees sprout up and fully ready to serve the purpose that Wycliff made them for. While the trees themselves might not be that dangerous to the fullbringer it's what they start producing, the very same drug that he had been trying to get to her all this time. The instant the trees were fully grown a mist of cocaine five feet wide would engulf the trees and everything around it.

It would be hard to avoid this cocaine mist if she didn't avoid or stop the seeds. Even if she had a fullbring that wrapped around her body he could assume that the suit it's self wasn't air tight and had gaps in it. Because of that he knew that even a little bit of a cocaine will enter in the armor that was her fullbring and eventually make it's way to her skin or an orifice which would enter her blood and take effect from there. However he would make sure that there was a boost in helping make sure that there would be some cocaine entering her system.

By willing the cocaine to push closer to her from all sides to help find gaps. If and when the cocaine would reach her skin or orifice she would instantly understand what it was and how it would affect her. There would be an instant high that would engulf her and allow for untold ecstasy and bliss for only half a second. Followed by the feeling of dread and loss. This was the immediate effect of Wycliff's cocaine on someones mind. Followed by a heightened heart rate that would spike her blood pressure as well. However this was only if she couldn't dodge the trees.

This was all his offensive while he watched her toss attack the cocaine in the air. However he had his own issue to deal with, the blade was still coming towards him and he had little time to react. By drawing up the cocaine around him he created a solid wall of cocaine in front of him to act as a barrier. This wall of cocaine wasn't made to keep the blade from hitting him, no it was only meant to slow it down for just a second as the real counter to the blade was getting ready. As the blade hit the wall of cocaine he was ready.

Suddenly a force wave of energy pushed out from Wycliff hitting both the wall and the sword. The impact from the force would push blade it away after it had been intercepted by the cocaine and the sudden wave of energy. Wycliff had used Surasorutoiera to push away the blade, but more importantly also the wall of cocaine that he had made right before him. Suddenly the entire battlefield would start snowing the white drug everywhere causing a slightly obscured vision for everyone for a short while. This was Wycliff's plan all along, to set up a defense that would be an attack. Yet he knew better than simply to stand around, after all he didn't know what else would be coming his way.

With his blade in hand he continued to pour cocaine as he made his get away. Moving again in a circular motion around the fullbringer. By using shumpo right after the explosion of cocaine covered the battlefield he was able to escape the attack he hadn't expected. While moving he heard the sound of two gunshots. Lucky? Maybe, one of the bullets did graze his arm causing a bit of blood to spill on the white and yellow ground. Grunting in pain from the gunshot wound he held his arm

What Wyciff didn't know is that the automated alarm system that the fullbringer had should be going wild as there was cocaine around everywhere and falling all over the place. It would make it hard to track him and see him at least for a few seconds, buying Wycliff more time. This girl had a gun, one that he hadn't noticed before or even saw. Could she have had it all this time? Was she messing with him. He wanted to rush in now and hit her, but he wasn't going to do that. He had already been clipped by a bullet and it hurt like shit.

He didn't want to stay in the same location so as soon as he landed he shumpoed once more ending up on the right side of the fullbringer after hearing two more gunshot fire off. He had been lucky that time, no additional bullet hole wounds. Now that he had a bit of time he laughed and spoke” did you enjoy the bliss, I can give you more, just take it off and you can dance in the snow with me.” While the cocaine continued to fall the fullbringer would notice something odd and off about the cocaine. While it was falling, it also seemed to be spinning around and around her. Wycliff was manipulating it so that the initial falling cocaine would continue to fall all around her making it harder to dodge the drug.


Right now the shingami had a few options, but the one he wanted to do was limit the movement options of the fullbringer. By using his reiatsu he was able to create cocaine mines around him and under the ground. Moving the mines to be around the fullbringer he waited to see what she would do if she would actually move if she did the mines would start to go off and cocaine would spew everywhere once more. Right now the battle was in his favor, but that could change easily.

Things were starting to look bad for the Fullbringer. It was all she was capable of doing to delay things for a moment at her current level. She had tried a number of tactics so far, but they all had the same result against this power she was embattled against. She had thought to make some progress with something a little more physical, but even the tremor she had made that shifted the ground itself was nothing more than a roadblock to overcome for her opponent. No matter how much she delayed the inevitable, that’s what it was beginning to seem like. Was she destined to lose this battle? Was her fate to fall before this power?

In the midst of her fending off an attack she couldn’t even see that floated up in the sky, two much louder beeps entered her ear on the left. At that moment, that’s where the closest white particles were, given that they were the ones that had been struck backwards least recently. She had planned to take more time to aim, but it looks like that simply wasn’t a luxury she was afforded in this fight. Her plan accelerated forward at a breakneck pace in an effort to try and accomplish everything before she was overwhelmed on the defensive. Then again, it probably didn’t matter that much that she replaced her eyesight in one eye with the feed from her gun given that she couldn’t see what she was punching anyway.

She looked down the scope of her gun towards the other man and realized that she couldn’t afford to stay stationary any longer based on how loud those beeps in that direction were getting. Her thrusters kicked into life moving her towards her right at her maximum speed. She skimmed just over the surface of the ground. While it did cost her solid footing, it was better than trying to punch and run at the same time. Still, the lack of stable footing meant her punches lost just the tiniest bit of oomph, and that meant the airborne powder didn’t get knocked away quite as far as the Fullbringer would have liked. At least she made up for that lost distance by moving physically farther away from it.

Her barrage of punches ended a split second after her thrusters kicked on, and she fired off her shots while skimming to the right. She had no way to know that her movement had done more than just keep away from being crushed for a little bit longer. At this point she was still under the assumption that the power was an exact clone of Gaara’s. She figured she was up against brute physical force, and knew none of the actual effects of this power. Without a good way to gauge the strength of the effect she was fighting, and considering that she didn’t have any confirmation of how it worked, she had been playing cautiously.

As for the shots themselves, the first two went off just as those two loudest beeps ceased for a second and re-emerged. It was only because Yoko had been gaining distance on the origin source of that attack that she was able to fire before they caught up to her. Had she stood still, there was no doubt that shot would have been hindered by what happened next. Just after those shots sped off towards their target, two trees sprouted up in the spot she had been standing a moment ago. The Fullbringer considered this to be a lucky dodge thanks to her thrusters, but in truth the ground next to her was what the man had aimed for in the first place.

It was also by this point that her opponent had disappeared behind a wall of white powder… and oh god it was coming her way. Beep. Beep. BEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. God damnit Warning System had really started to get on her nerves. Yes, there was danger to the left. She got that much already. It was pretty hard to miss when an entire wall of something was headed your way. This one she knew was coming even without Warning System helping her. She felt the expanding sphere of force push back Dragonslayer the instant it happened. With Psychoframe System active while she was in her Level 2 state, all her weapons were able to be wielded as if they were in her hand as long as they were within a mile. Of course that meant she could feel the resistance and position change of her telekinetically controlled greatsword.

So Yoko had quite a few issues to deal with at that moment. She had to deal with these trees that had emerged, the expanding wall of powder that was headed her way, her sword that had been thrown back, there was some powder on the ground creeping at her, and there was powder in the air headed her way. It was an awful lot to deal with at once. She had already committed to the idea of shooting at her opponent again, so that was the next thing to happen. Of course she couldn’t see him through the wall of powder, so those were just blind shots in the vague direction of where she thought she heard footsteps.

Most of the things she had to fend off didn’t seem like an immediate threat. The powder on the ground and air was still far enough away, and moved slowly enough, that it wasn’t a pressing concern. First had to come the trees and the veritable wall of powder. She wasn’t sure what the trees did, or how they did it, but she was convinced that they were a problem simply because they existed. Her fighting style was cautious to a fault. If the trees had been nothing more than a distraction, she still would have assumed they were a problem. That was one of the issues she had in combat. She wasn’t dumb, but she wasn’t the type that figured out someone’s power just by looking at it once.

What Yoko had going for her in this instance was the very same thing that aided her a moment ago. Thrusters had continued to carry her away from the trees as they grew, but she made a very key mistake in this moment. She didn’t keep that advantage up. She planted her feet into the ground a few meters away from the trees so that she could put all her weight into the strikes she intended to defend herself with. Though her hands were empty, she didn’t need anything in them to utilize Fist of Unbroken Air. Another barrage of punches was let loose in the direction of the trees and the wall of white powder that advanced towards her.

”ATATATATATATATATAWAAAAAAAATAAAAH”

Her kiai punctuated the air around as she dealt with another attempt to get her with the white powder. The fight was still fairly young, but they were playing through the same song and dance yet again. Rushes of air slammed into waves of powder and the result was the same as before. The only difference was that there were trees this time. They rustled and bent in the breeze, and then they fell down. Try though they might, the sand of a beach wasn’t a good spot to try and grow roots. Though her attacks were stronger than the trees by a good margin, the nature of Fist of Unbroken Air simply pushed them down rather than destroying them outright.

Though Yoko didn’t know it, that meant the trees still produced a mist of powder. She was outside their range for the moment, but given that she had no clue what the trees actually did, she figured that knocking them over was a good start. Either way, they had only been a bonus hit, as the main benefit of that rush attack had been dealing with the same wall of powder that seemed to send Dragonslayer flying. After that attack, there was a very brief reprieve where she allowed herself to take a breath. The trees and the wall had just been blown away, and no new source had yet reached a threatening distance.

In that ever so slight lull between the attacks on her person, a few things occurred. The first was a mental admission on her part. Whoever this man was, he was incredibly annoying to fight. Yoko had not yet figured out a good way to destroy his powder outright. One might even say it was making her a bit salty. For her, unless you were overwhelming weak, Fullbring Level 2 was effectively her starting point. This was her base level for anything that was worth fighting seriously. Even if this man had been weak, the fact that he endangered civilians meant he deserved to be taken down, so why had Yoko been holding back so long?

She didn’t have a good answer to that question. Given all the random massive gusts of wind, the tremors, and the other sounds of battle, the beach had at least cleared out somewhat. What a shame too, as the sun was almost ready to poke out from behind the cloud cover at long last. As much as Yoko wished details like that were the most important part of her day, they were far from it. The Fullbringer had accepted that she needed to step up her game a bit. Luckily for her, she still had quite a few ways to do that before she was out of tricks. First and foremost was good ol’ Dragonslayer.

Greatswords were all good and fun for throwing at people, but most of the time you would expect not very good results. Yoko had accepted that previous outcome only because she had been too distracted to go for a good result a moment ago. A wave of force had sent Dragonslayer reeling across that battlefield, but that was possible due to her not applying any force on it. Had Dragonslayer been in her hands, it barely would have slowed down. She had used a touch of her ability earlier to correct her aim, but had switched it back off to focus elsewhere. That had been a mistake, and it wasn’t one she planned to repeat.

Dragonslayer had been blown straight back the way it came by the wave of force, but that actually worked out fine. There was a smell of blood on Yoko’s right side. Even though the man had only been in that position for a moment, arriving via step technique no doubt, Low Pressure helped all the scents of the area come to Yoko ever faster. He had moved to the side that Dragonslayer was already on course for. Now the man might be dumb, that was always possible, but he wasn’t dumb enough to go stand right where a greatsword was going to fall out of the sky by sheer luck or anything.

Pyschoframe System was the key at this point. This Level Two Fullbring Property let Yoko wield her weapons as if they were in her hands, even when they weren’t. That meant they seemed to move on their own, but they struck with all the force and speed of her own muscles. With naught but a thought, Dragonslayer ripped down from the sky straight at her assailant. It moved at Yoko’s own 375 speed and had all 800 of her strength behind it. Based on what she had seen of the battle so far, the man had no way to stop it with brute force. If he didn’t find a way to deal with it, the greatsword would continue to chase him until it ran through his chest. Given how fast she had seen the man move so far, it shouldn’t have an issue catching him either.

But the reprieve only lasted long enough for those few things. A breath. A thought. A mentally commanded attack. There was time for nothing more before Warning System blanketed her awareness with beeps and buzzes. Whereas before they had come from only one side at a time, it seemed that everything before had merely been a setup. The Fullbringer was surrounded on all sides, and she couldn’t help herself but curse her luck in her mother tongue. ”Yare yare daze.” To deal with everything at once she needed to go faster, but that wasn’t really an option. Instead, her answer was to do more at once. Her hand had been forced by am omnidirectional attack.

”Trace… ON!”

As the powder closed in around her from all sides, her reiatsu flared noticeably for the first time since she had released her Fullbring. In that instant that her power spiked, four more small tubes, each the same as the one on her left hip, were willed into existence around her. At the same time, the one on her left hip detached itself with the aid of Psychoframe System. Their formation was straightforward. One tube in each hand, one on each side, and one behind her. A low hum crackled out as all five beam sabers lit at the same moment, and that hum only grew as each blade swiped diagonally downward, looped back up, then diagonally down again from the other side, forming an X with the sides connected as their path.

With each of those diagonal swings of each of the five blades, the blade flickered out and back on so quickly that it was nearly imperceptible. The better chance to notice it was the brief distortion in the hum that the blades gave off. Each slash had a Fist of Unbroken Air launched from it. Yeah, that ought to show you that Yoko was rusty at fighting people worth a damn. She had been using Blade of Severing Air, which was designed to cut things, against a Gaara type. She totally knew how to use Fist of Unbroken Air with swords, and it was only because of her own rustiness that she hadn’t done so with Dragonslayer.

The result was the same as it always would be when Fist of Unbroken Air clashed with this powder. The omnidirectional sword swings even reached overhead as part of her slashing motions just for good measure, since she could hear beeps above her too. ”MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUUUU…da?” BOOM! Though her barrage was successful at literally blowing away the attack she saw coming, there was another one that she hadn’t seen that got the better of her. It was a sensation she knew all too well from her time fighting against terrorists. A landmine. When had that gotten there? How had it gotten there? She wasn’t sure. But what was odd was that she felt no pain. Perhaps it was just numbness from shock. The medics had certainly warned her about that in the past, but it simply wasn’t the case here.

On instinct, she had adjusted her stance when she swung just now. The swordswoman had known her defense to be sufficient against the white powder, and so she had instinctively taken a large step to the right to begin chasing down this man. That was when she had stepped onto a landmine. A literal explosion of the white powder raced upwards, and there was no way in hell she had time to dodge it when caught so horribly unaware. Maybe if she had known it was coming she could have avoided it, but that wasn’t how mines worked now was it? The only saving grace she had was that her entire body wasn’t over the dang thing, and it was just an outstretched leg for the most part.

But where was the pain? It looked like the stuff wasn’t there to obliterate her or smother her, but rather to get inside her. Most of the exploded powder was blown outwards or upwards and flowed harmlessly around Yoko’s armor. It appeared that the simply didn’t have any piercing ability to it, let alone the crushing that the Fullbringer had been worried about. The effect it had on her was arguably far worse. Some of the white powder, about half a liter of it, slammed itself through the ventilation holes in Yoko’s helmet and went right up her nose. As if the fact that there was a bunch of powder crammed up her nose wasn’t bad enough, that didn’t even cover the effect of the powder itself.

All the sudden Yoko realized what the powder truly was. Cocaine. Glorious cocaine. Jesus Tapdancing Christ it was amazing. AND IT WAS GONE! For just a fleeting instant she had the single best high of her entire life. Throughout her adolescence full of delinquency and two tours in the Middle East, the Fullbringer had tried just about everything under the sun once. She had never had anything as potent as that. Not even close. Part of her wanted more, risk be damned. Thankfully she was able to calm her mind and resist that suicidal voice in her head, but no amount of calm could sate the stinging feeling in her nose. She tolerated the physical pain from it, but damn that fucker itched.

Regardless of the outcome of the landmine though, it was worth noting that the Fists of Unbroken Air had also blown a pressure blast outwards in all directions. Though the cocaine made them easy enough to see, if her opponent thought he was immune to them just because his cocaine was on them, then he had another thing coming. If any part of her omnidirectional counter caught her opponent, then he would go flying just as easily as the cocaine had. Getting hit by that attack was the same as getting shoved by all of Yoko’s 800 strength, and even if it wasn’t a punch, getting shoved by something that strong would still hurt like hell, and keep you from holding your ground.

Between the landmines and the overall situation, it didn’t make any sense for Yoko to stay put. Her thrusters kicked back on and she flew backwards and upwards, out into the relative safety of the sky. She had created an opening to escape with her latest barrage, and what she had discovered she needed was distance. The Fullbringer had allowed herself to be surrounded only because of the fact that she had been standing still. If she was a moving target, then she was much harder to hit at all, and surrounding her would be a much harder feat to accomplish. As far as she could tell, there weren’t any mines in the sky either, so that gave her one less thing to worry about.

While she flew through the sky, Yoko mentally reconfigured Warning System a bit. There was no sense in paying attention to far away reiatsu signatures for cocaine. Her Warning System let her tag individual energy signatures, and a release definitely had a distinctive one. That helped filter out some of the literal noise she was dealing with. There was one noise that she explicitly wanted though. Though it hadn’t featured yet, that was only because no flaming or freezing attacks had been utilized. Warning System also packed thermal sensors, and she willed those into searching for the rough range of 90-110 degrees Fahrenheit: a reasonable range for temperatures of a body. With that, she could at least keep a rough direction of her opponent at all times, even if he obscured himself behind a wall of cocaine.

By this point, Dragonslayer could well have found it’s mark, but Yoko wasn’t about to leave that to chance. This was a target to be exterminated with extreme prejudice. With the aid of Psychoframe System, the beam sabers in her hands floated in front of her for a moment, but then they all docked in and latched on to her waist. Her rifle found its way to her hands and she quickly sighted in her target. She knew that she couldn’t outrun the cocaine from seeing how fast it had moved so far. The moment that she confirmed where the target was, she vanished from sight. A single step of Bringer Light took her to, from her target’s point of view, his right side. Even if he had moved to run away from Dragonslayer, that’s where she chose to appear.

She was careful not to land directly on the ground, but rather utilized her thrusters to hold her aloft a foot off the ground. Having figured that the things around him were more mines, she was also smart enough to not close to melee and instead stayed just out of their range. When she arrived there, she held down the trigger that her finger had already been on. A short burst of gunfire, four shots, rang out at a fully automatic pace. Given that the HK-417 her rifle was modeled after reached a rate of 600 shots per minute, a burst of four was just under half a second from first to last. Since she had aimed manually, all of those shots were on target, right between the mines, aimed for center mass.

How would he deal with an assault like this she wondered? Her attacks thus far had been, frankly, casual at best. Her bullets were far faster than even she herself could move without a step technique, and her use of Bringer Light was far and away the fastest thing on the battlefield. At such a close range, dodging the bullets would be tricky, but it would be even trickier to try and prepare a spell of some sort. Figuring out which one to use and casting it all in that short space of a time would be impressive. Hell, at this range, even realizing there was a gunshot before the first bullet hit would be noteworthy.

She did hope that this would be enough to seal the deal, if her earlier offensive hadn’t already done so. The Fullbringer had been going all out in terms of her strength and speed, and was starting to break a sweat. Her stamina only faired as good as it did because she had been conservative with both her reiatsu utilization and footwork. Until just a moment ago she hadn’t left the spot she started the fight in, and outside of summoning her Fullbring she hadn’t used much of her spiritual abilities. At this point, GN Drive had been enough to keep her reserves full, even behind cloud cover. Though that property didn’t restore her stamina, she knew that by not outpacing her supply she could at least keep herself going for quite some time.

The trees that he had tried to plant within the range of the female fullbringer had taken root and sprung up almost instantly, however due to something that was warning her he saw that his trees would be knocked down and pushed down as well as the cocaine mist that they would be producing. That wasn't a big worry for him though given that they weren't destroyed and they would continue to produce the white powder for him to use as another avenue of attack later on when the fullbringer least expected it. It meant that for now there were two other places that cocaine was being produced even if he wasn't making any himself.

In that moment that he saw his trees fall he knew what he had to do, he had to protect himself from the attacks that would follow. Without saying anything cocaine slowly started to stick to his skin and form a second layer of protection around him. For now this would help deal with any unexpected attacks that he would get from the fullbringer, this wasn't a catch all, but being able to avoid being killed outright by an attack by this fullbringer would be useful for the moment. With luck he had been able to avoid being getting into close combat given his speed and power, but if it came to that he wanted to be ready.

The moment he saw a puff of white cocaine spew up from the ground he let out a soft chuckle knowing exactly what had happened and what was about to happen next to her all in the few seconds that followed that puff of smoke. The wondrous experience she was about to have from all of it, all from a simple little object. A mine had been stepped on and the fullbringer chick hadn't seen it. How could she? It was next to impossible to detect something under the ground that he could move at will without it causing ripples or breaks on the surface.

His plan had worked, she had been exposed to his drug, she would feel the pleasure of the best high of her entire life followed by her being brought down harder than a crack whore trying to quit sober. That feeling of it all was too much to handle for those that were weak willed. Many simply fell to it after the first try, those were the ones who simply had no control over their own vices, those that did tho, they would feel a rush unlike anything that could be offered anywhere else. The bliss that they had for a feeling second would be enough to cause most of them to fall from their moral high horse.

It was the same every time, just one taste and they would be forever hooked on his special nose candy. While some would protest that they don't need it, he knew the truth. They would all fall to it and beg him for more eventually groveling by his feet licking his shoes just for a single flake of it. This was the fate that held for all those that fought him when he released, when he got serious and decided that it was time to fight for real. The only factor that would determine how long it would take for someone to fall was their will, and with each second he knew that he could slowly break down someone's willpower.

When fighting with Wycliff it always became a contest of who could last the longest. By staying back and not using too much movement while limiting his reiatsu usage as best as he could he could usually outlast his foes. However he knew that this particular foe was a bit more annoying to deal with given how her fullbring worked and the way she was able to push away his cocaine with ease. While she wasn't destroying it, it did reset everything he did, that was fine spreading all the cocaine around was beneficial to him as well given that it gave him options that she didn't fully know about.

Still the first taste was always the best. As the cocaine mine exploded he cried out to her in a loud voice. “Can you feel it, DO YOU FEEL THE BLISS I CAN BRING YOU! SUBMIT TO IT ALL AND REJOICE IT AS YOUR NEW GOD. I AM WYCLIFF! EVERY CELL OF YOUR BODY WILL BURN WITH MY WHITE-HOT ECSTASY. COCAINE IS THE TRUE GOD AND I AM THE HUMAN INSTRUMENT OF IT'S WILL. BEND TO IT AND BECOME ONE OF THE TRUE FOLLOWERS.” Wycliff really had to stop reading old comic books from the eighties as bad as it was somehow a line from a one time villain with cocaine had creeped it's way into his taunting.

While those effects were subtle one thing the fullbringer should notice is that her heart rate should have gone up and isn't coming down. The drug it's self has a nasty habit of forcing those that partake of it either willingly or unwillingly to have their heart rate start to climb up. Those that use more of it can feel it, but even just a bit would be enough to make someone take notice. The drug would force those who fought against him to tire quickly as their body would be working harder. Sure it didn't seem like much to those that kept standing still, but anything that did cost some form of stamina would be more taxing now. Not enough to make a massive difference for now, but it would make it harder to outlast Wycliff in a prolonged battle.

Seeing the forces of air being pushed towards him Wycliff acted once more this time using the cocaine that was being forced back to create three walls of cocaine to take in the impact of the blast being shot at him. Each wall would break, but the force of the attack it's self would be reduced just enough to only push back the shingami, while the impact of the attack did hurt it wasn't fatal only due to having three walls of cocaine take the brunt of the attack it's self.

As the cocaine started to settle down from the landmine that had just exploded, he saw that the fullbringer was tying to escape. He had an idea one that could cause him to lose this fight, but if it paid off he would win. Without saying anything a seed was created in his mouth that he quickly swallowed. The tree would grow and sprout inside of Wycliff causing cocaine to flow from his body freely in the same range that the trees would have. With that done quickly he did his second action all part of his gamble.

From where she was at. He smiled knowing that this would be a gamble, but one that could pay off in his favor, he shumpoed right towards the fullbringer not letting there be any distance between him and her. As he did so closing the gap he used the very same kido he had used before right as the combat started. He had used the pathway that had been created by his three walls of cocaine. This was a risky and dangerous gamble that he knew the fullbringer wasn't expecting. After all he had kept his distance the entire time, why would he even risk getting this close to her?

The answer was simple by casting Rikujokoro  so close and within striking range of both of them without warning that this kido was coming out it would be hard to even counter such a kido given that there was no indication as to what was going on. At the same time Wycliff was covered in cocaine that would allow him to at least block a bit of the attacks that he would get if there was one that would react to that. Given that he assumed that she would still be on the downswing of his drug he wanted to take advantage of what should be her lowest point.

Being so close there would be little chance for her to avoid the second part of his attack. The cocaine being produced from the tree from the seed he had swallowed would instantly fill the air making it so that even a little bit of it would get into her suit. There once more would be another brief moment of her being affected by his drug and causing her to join the ranks of those that knew the true bliss of his power. This wasn't meant to harm her, just hinder her slightly so that he could take advantage of her state only to help himself land the kido with more ease.

Again a risky gamble, but it could work. There were so many things that could go wrong with this attack, but at the same time so many things that could go right, if she was captured by it. Then again if she failed to be caught by that kido he would be in one of the worst positions possible given that he wouldn't be able to easily get away. Not that it would be impossible, but it wouldn't be easy to get away from the fullbringer as it stood. There were two options as to what would happen next all depending on if this kido did land.

If the kido did land and the fullbringer found herself unable to move Wycliff would ooze out cocaine from every part of his body and force it into her suit of armor. It would be harder for someone to fight back against the kido if they were being drugged constantly by his drug. From there he hoped that the moments of her sanity would be far and few imbetween as he used another kido to further incapacitate her. Casting Dendō Hōden as such close range it would cause her entire body to be engulfed by the kido and forcing her to be unable to use any of her body.

From there the fight would be his, he would continue to pour in cocaine from all over into her suit forcing her to eventually break down and lose all control of herself. From the moments of sanity that she would have it would be hard to focus on anything other than when the next high would come. As the moments would pass he would speak again. “Give into the pleasure and remove your armor, it does you no good anymore. You don't need it to enjoy the bliss that I can offer you.”

This was assuming that he was able to land the Rikujokoro, if he saw that it would fail he would instantly back off using shumpo again to fall back and gain some distance. By this time he would see that the giant greatsword that he had pushed away before was coming towards him. Catching his breath for a moment he would convert part of his spirtual pressure and feed into his own reiatsu strength boosting it's power. Following that he let out a fully incanted Raikōhō. The strength of the kido would shatter the blade.

Wycliff would be there standing in the air slowly catching a bit of his breath as he had wasted a bit of reiatsu just to survive this round. However given that no matter what he had gotten in close enough for the Fullbringer to taste the cocaine he was sure that she would be affected by it he would taunt her again. “Come now let's have some fun, can't we all just enjoy my little gift~”

Yoko’s plan had been interrupted. She had planned to close the distance towards her opponent in one fell swoop, but it seemed that her opponent had the same idea in mind. Between her speed advantage and animalistic observation skills it wasn’t hard to figure out where her opponent was headed and follow their movements. It also wasn’t that hard to prepare for his arrival either, given that she had already thought of most of this sequence, just without him doing part of it for her. Still, there was a slight hesitation. A dash of concern. With the seed of worry beginning to form in her mind, she decided this was the moment to play a trump card she had in this fight.

As soon as she had realized what the power of her opponent was, she realized she had a good way to deal with it. Given that it was cocaine, and not a sheer mass of force, it had to actually make contact with her body to do anything useful. Though she hadn’t unlocked the powers of it yet, the form of her secondary Fullbring was all she needed. ”Haro!” Though her opponent wouldn’t be able to see it happen, her Secondary Fullbring had formed itself beneath her armor in the time that it took her opponent to reach her. So how was this a trump card without any additional powers? Quite simple. It was a closed ecosystem. Not even air made it in or out. Given how tight that seal was, there was no way that any cocaine could reach her body.

That meant Yoko was immediately on a clock. Her Pilot Suit hadn’t yet developed its ability to give her fresh air, and that meant she could only keep her visor down until she ran out of breath. In the midst of combat that wasn’t likely to be long, but it would have to do. Her instinct had told her that if the opponent was suddenly willing to charge her then she needed every advantage she could get in that moment. And she was right. She had managed to prepare that defense, and her weapons had just finished their rearrangement. Sure, she didn’t know exactly what her opponent was up to, but she knew one thing for sure. She had to end that fight now.

When her opponent reappeared in front of her, it wasn’t a move that caught her off guard. It confused her, sure, but she was willing to play right into it. Her hands raised the rifle towards the opponent and she went to pull the trigger. It was in that instant that she felt the bars of light slam into her sides. She couldn’t pull the trigger. Her opponent couldn’t see it, but she had burst out into a smile. Was this an acceptance of defeat? Was it a subconscious realization that she would be pumped full of more cocaine and get to experience that high once more? No, it was none of those things at all.

Her smile was because she had won. Though her body couldn’t move itself, paralysis was a minor hindrance at best in this fight. Dragonslayer was allowed to careen off into the sand below them. It needed no more guidance. Instead the Psychoframe System’s powers were focused onto the five beam sabers on her hips and the rifle in her hands. In one instant the sabers all erupted back into life and the trigger on her rifle was pulled by the aid of her power. Even if she couldn’t move a muscle, she didn’t need to. She was already well aware that her power was of a higher caliber than that of her opponent, so she knew the attack would succeed.

It appeared that the Shinigami had coated himself in some cocaine as a means of defense, but it mattered little. The beam sabers would all fly into him. The bullets would rain in. Each stab carried with it all of Yoko’s impact strength, and given the difference there in physical might that was likely enough to shatter every bone in her opponent’s body. The only thing that seemed to save him for a moment was a brief shimmer of an aura, but it faded as fast as it came into existence. It had stopped the first beam saber, which had been weakened enough that the cocaine armor was able to engulf it, but the other four sabers and a hail of gunfire were all unaffected by whatever that had been. It seemed like some kind of emergency defensive measure. Maybe a lucky charm or something. Too bad it could only stop one attack.

That was the outcome of their battle. The man had sealed his own doom by rushing into Melee against someone who specialized at that range. He’d had a decent plan by attempting to paralyze Yoko, but by moving close enough to try and catch her off guard he had put himself directly into her range. The beam sabers hadn’t even needed to move off her hip to put him in range. The barrel of her rifle had been an inch off his skin. There was no way he had time to dodge, let alone cast another Kido, especially with his speed. His defense was insufficient as well. Yoko’s Fullbring Level Two was stronger than a Shikai. It sat in a league of its own, comparable in power to a Shinigami’s Bankai. Quite simply, there was nothing the man could do to prevent his own fall once he had closed the gap.

And so he would fall before his plan could even be finished. No doubt he had planned to execute some kind of attack to follow up the paralysis, but the man hadn’t caught on from Dragonslayer that Yoko didn’t need her body to be working for her offense to work. That mistake in analysis of his opponent’s power was what had cost him the battle. Nothing more and nothing less. If he had stayed back and played to his strength of ranged combat then he may well have been able to wear Yoko down, but that was not the method that the man had stuck with. What a shame. Despite how annoying of a power it had been to deal with, the Fullbringer was a little sad that had ended not with her winning via skill, but by her opponent losing patience.

Having delivered a mortal wound to her opponent, his power would flicker and fade in that instant. The function of Yoko’s muscles returned to her as the man fell down towards the beach. Having sustained that much damage he simply couldn’t maintain a spell strong enough to hold her back. Ever the cautious one, Yoko let her thrusters carry her up and away from the ground. She was pretty sure that the battle was over, but she also knew there were landmines all over the ground, and she wasn’t sure if those were disarmed. For now, she mentally commanded her visor of her pilot suit to open up and get some fresh air in her lungs.

The tension of the situation had left in in some discomfort and her heart rate couldn’t seem to settle down. No doubt that was the effect of the cocaine she had ingested, but it was also fueled by the rage that burned through her veins in that moment. This man had endangered civilians with no reason, and all the things he had shouted finally got processed by her brain. That bastard had been telling her to strip, and probably would have shoved his dick inside her to try to shoot his “white-hot ecstasy” into her. Were it not for the helmet in her way she would have spat on him. At the end of all that she found her mind had come back to the same sentiment she had a few moments ago.

”Yare yare daze.”

He was so sure that he would be able to get her, he had already thought about all the horrible things that he would do to her and what he would make her do for the simple cocaine. It had all flooded into his mind as revenge for the destruction for his precious pop rocks. So many things flashing before his eyes and so many options to do, yet all of it wouldn't happen, none of it would work given that his attack, while the hit did reach her, it seemed that it didn't matter.

He heard the all too familiar sounds of gunshots, it wasn't the first time he heard them in this combat, but he wasn't able to figure out why he heard those sounds. He had gotten her with his kido, he had stopped all forms of movement that she would be able to do. He had this, he had won this battle, yet he heard the sounds of gunfire, more specifically he smelled the soft sent of gunpowder in the air, one that shouldn't exist this close. She couldn't have fired her rifle, she was paralyzed, the kido was around her he saw that.

As the bullets struck his body he felt the pain course through his body. The hot bullets melted his flesh as they rip through his body. He felt the pain come from his stomach where they were buried deep in his body. While being shot like this was something new the pain felt like something he had experienced before. The pain from being shot by her gun in his stomach triggered a memory of his human life. Simply because of the location of the pain and the intensity of it. A memory he thought that he had repressed so long ago

Wycliff's mind drifted back to when he was a child,living in the slums of England. He could smell the smog coming off of the factories. He was back in his home, the rotten and dirty place that it was. He saw his father, who was a drunkard who only lived to drink and abuse everyone in his family. Wycliff's young child eyes started to widen as he saw what his father was doing. Without warning he saw his drunk stumbling father walk towards him with a hot poker. “Why ain't you working at the factory. Do I have to teach you better boy.”

“No papa, don't I” Before he could finish his sentence he started to cough up, this had been one of the few times that he was actually sick and unable to work. However his father didn't care about that. His father only wanted his kid to work so he could take the money they earned to use for more booze. “Don't care what your excuse is your going to be punish.” As Wycliff's father said that he felt the hot poker stab Wycliff in his stomach. The memory ended with Wycliff remembering his cries for help for his mother who ignored what was going on.

The memory ended as he felt more pain strike his body. His eyes went over and saw what had happened. He had been slashed by four blades. Each blade cutting deep into his body, spilling his blood all over his body painting the white powder crimson red. He had been struck, not once, not twice but several times over by several blades, the blood spilled didn't belong to the fullbringer. No it was his own and it was covering his bare chest. He had taken a hit and he didn't even know it. As his eyes looked down he saw the cuts across his body.

The deep slashes forced a shift in Wycliff's attitude and facial features one that Yoko could easily see. The aggressive smile and violence filled eyes were quickly replaced by eyes filled with sadness and a face filled with regret and loss. The aura of aggression and hate was all gone, and Wycliff's lips slowly parted as he tried to mutter out something to the fullbringer. It wouldn't matter how hard Yoko tried she wouldn't be able to make out what Wycliff was trying to say given no matter how hard Wycliff tried he wasn't able to mutter out what he wanted.

His blade started to slip from his hand as he felt his body falling from the sky the massive great-sword would fall rapidly and sink deep into the sand. With the blade hitting and sinking into the ground it shifted back into what it originally was. A pure white blade with a simple red mark near the hilt of the blade. Wycliff's release was over and the cocaine that had been created started to vanish slowly, none of it had it's addictive property left nor the high that it normally offered to those who either willingly or unwilling ingested.

Wycliff's mind started to come back to him as his body fell to the ground. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as he started to fall. Everything he had done slowly started to dawn on him. Each action, every single word all because of his reaction to his pop rocks being ruined by a simple accident. Wycliff hated this, he hated the fact that he had lashed out simply because of his anger. He wasn't sure as to why he had this sort of trigger and wanted to get rid of it. He knew that he had just caused so much unneeded destruction and chaos for nothing.

Wycliff's body would land hard on the soft sand, the blood pooling out of his body turning the sand red. Wycliff would look up to the fullbringer coughing up blood. He knew that this was it, it was the end. He had lost this fight, but he wanted to let out one thing, one final word said to this fullbringer. Using the last of his strength he was only able to mutter out a blood gargled word of forgiveness. With that Wycliff would black out, not knowing if his word would reach the fullbringer or if she would even care about his apology.

Her opponent had fallen to the ground and was rapidly bleeding out. She he managed to put an end to the threat. Thankfully, it seemed that as he bled, his cocaine vanished with him. That meant that the threat was gone for real. It was one thing for him to be unconscious, but if his power didn’t fade with them then the quarantine effort would have had to begin next. Though she wasn’t sure why, a feeling of sadness had come over her. In truth it was the cocaine’s aftereffects, but she wrote it off as frustration towards how ridiculous this entire fight had been in the first place. The very idea that this scenario had arisen at all had caused her to lose even more of her faith in the Shinigami.

With the battle concluded, she didn’t stay around for long. A gate opened in the sky, a clear sign of more Shinigami that she had learned to recognize. No doubt that they had detected the surge in reiatsu from this battle. Without any communication from the man she had fought, and no context to go on, it had made sense that backup was deployed. She didn’t want to be around to try to explain to these other Shinigami that she had acted in self defense. That was an argument that would only create more problems. Of that much she was sure. Rather than stay and be questioned, she vanished in a flicker of Bringer Light. Her Fullbrings both returned to their sealed state, and her power was suppressed from then on to avoid a potential interrogation.

Confident that her work was done on that topic, Yoko realized that she needed to cancel her day off even more. Fuck. She just realized she’d abandoned her bike at the beach. Oh well. She’d wait a few hours and go get it back. For the time being, she found a bench somewhere and pulled out her phone. It wasn’t her preferred tool for this, but she wanted to get her work taken care of while the battle was still fresh in her mind. As always, it was important to document everything she had learned about her foe and submit a report on it. There was always the chance that he would be back, and that someone else would have to defend themselves from him. With that in mind, Yoko tapped away on her phone screen and wrote up her thoughts.

Incident Report – Attack by Unknown Cocaine-Wielding Shinigami

As is often the case it seems, I found another fight while off duty today. I was down at the beach and was attacked by a Shinigami for reasons I am still unclear of. Were it not for the method of his attack endangering so many civilians at a crowded location I would have attempted to avoid the fight, but his sheer disregard for potential casualties forced me to act as a defender. It was unclear if he would have attacked civilians directly if I had not intervened, but I was able to hold his attention and managed to evacuate the area without any known casualties. I consider that the primary victory of the day.

I do not know the name of this assailant, but his physical description may help. Subject was a fairly lean man with blonde shaggy hair. At the time of our battle he was clothed only in a fairly long pair of swim trunks and sunglasses. I did not observe any scars or tattoos that would allow his identity to be confirmed in the future. That said, his power is very distinctive, and anyone who engages in combat should be able to recognize him as soon as he releases his Zanpakuto, Chūdoku. It’s power is a telekinetically controlled swarm of cocaine. From what I can tell it possesses no innate offensive power, and is just a super concentrated drug.

He does posses a few interesting ways to use the power though. He was able to shape it into more dense structures that resisted my blows, but ultimately fell to them. He is also able to create landmines with the cocaine. I advise staying in the sky against this foe. Another thing that I caught, though I don’t know if this was part of his zanpakuto or not, was that he was able to resist exactly one fatal blow from me. The foe was dispatched with a multi-hit strike delivered nearly simultaneously, and the first thing to hit him did not penetrate. It is unknown if there is a cooldown on this ability, but multiple attacks at the same time were not prevented.

Additionally this foe possesses some degree of talent in the Shinigami magics. Though he did not display a wide range of spells against me, his power was considerable. I was able to shake off one binding spell with Fist of Unbroken Air, but he was able to deliver the spells without any obvious windup time or invocation. When he managed to land a binding spell on me later, it was able to completely paralyze me for a moment. It is my belief that this is generally indicative of a talented spellcaster. He likely knows far more than he showcased against me, as he seemed to falsely believe that his zanpakuto was his best bet against me.

In conclusion, here are my recommendations when fighting this foe. New Employees should immediately flee. The cocaine he wields is very problematic if you cannot defend against it, and New Employees will likely not be able to overcome it. If he releases this power, flight is the only sound choice for those who cannot outrun it, blast it away, or outright destroy it. Senior Employees will be a mixed bag, and discretion should be used. If they posses enough strength to outright destroy the cocaine, and can do so reliably, the fight should be easy. However, if a Senior Employee is unable to do so, they should try to end the fight as fast as possible before an overwhelming amount of cocaine exists on the battlefield. His speed was not exceptional. Blitzing him may be a viable tactic. Managers and the CEO should be careful to avoid being surrounded, but otherwise should have enough strength to defeat him without issue.

A day after this battle occurred I saw that someone had apparently filmed part of the battle. Given that the Shinigami showed up on camera, I believe he was using a gigai. I have attached the video footage to this report, so that we have clear evidence of what the man looks like.
