Thread Title: Smashing Good time Participants: Kitai Yoru, Rio Demoniogalgo World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: A small town out in the countryside. Wide sweeping plains, dotted with boulders, low houses, and very little of note. A pleasant little place that is sadly, and very likely, about to be wiped off the map by the ensuing events of the day. Special Conditions: None Circumstances: After several years of inactivity, Rio Demoniogalgo, the Quinta Espada, has grown weary of beating up on weaklings. He has come to the Human World to wreak havoc and hopefully draw out a potential challenge to the Espada so that he can once again taste the fruits of a good battle.

All was quiet in this part of the Human World. Birds chirped, and dogs barked in the distance. People walked the streets, exchanging pleasantries. It was a quiet place. Secluded, and out of the way. A perfect place to vent. Invisible to anyone not possessing spiritual power, a rift in reality opened up and a tall man with medium length black hair stepped through. Rio had bulked up considerably over the last four years. A once slender and deceptive build that in no way hinted at his colossal strength had given way to a stockier and more muscular build. The Quinta had fallen into a long slum of near-depression over the last four years when one of the few people in Las Noches he could stand to be in the company of-- a Numeros named Miho, had disappeared into the desert wastes of Hueco Mundo. Rio had initially been indifferent, but that indifference had slowly turned to anger, and then to.... well.... Not quite sorrow, but certainly a certain hollowness. And then, finally, after several years, to boredom. He'd gotten complacent. It was time to change that. He'd heard about Kuroi's attack on Soul Society, and was infuriated that he hadn't had a chance to join in. So now, he was coming out here to vent.
Rio stepped from the Gargantua that he had travelled through and absently wandered through the town. So many people. So mundane. So pleasant. It sickened him, and the rage in his heart grew. He passed two young men having a pleasant chat in the street as they walked side by side. Rio's teeth ground as they walked past him, completely unnoticing the arrancar. A sure sign of people who lacked spiritual presence. He.... He couldn't stand it. "Fuckin' people." He snarled as he reached out with two large hands. The Espada suddenly balled them into fists around the men's heads. They didn't have a chance. With one hand each, Rio crumpled their skulls and brain matter as easily as one might crush a wad of paper into a ball. Their blood spurted, some of it landing on Rio. "You fuckin' shits." He growled, and then turned to walk away, uncaring of the screams that followed behind him, accompanying the sudden and violent ends of two innocent men. As he walked, Rio threw an absent backhand strike at the redbrick wall next to him. The impact caused the wall to shatter into pieces, sending deadly shrapnel hurtling through the air into the village square. Rio didn't care, just as an earthquake or tornado did not care as to the devastation left in their wake. Rio was not a man to these people. He was nothing less than a force of nature.

Kitai is a special kind of person. One unburdened by the whims and woes of people. He did what he did because he could, and that was all that mattered to him. He didn't care what others thought of him. No.. wait, that's a lie. Kitai loved hearing what others thought of him. It's always ever so amusing to listen to what exactly someone thought of the fullbringer. He loved people so much, always willing to listen to their tales and sorrows, wanted only to know them. Kitai Yoru was a strange person. He stood above the rest, quite literally, at seven feet tall, add an inch if you count his boots. His skin is pale white, looking dead and clammy. His hair was bone white, and covered the top half of his face and falling down to the small of his back, leaving only his beautiful smile to look at.
He was wearing his black straitjacket over his white dress shirt, as well as a nice hat. Currently, he was walking on the top of some buildings to avoid the people. Oh how he hated them. Mindless worms, the lot of them. He looked down at them, grinning his usual twisted smirk. They were so weak. It would be so easy just to end their suffering... but no, that'd be too easy. They deserved to suffer. For what? Who knows. He was sure there was a reason, but he really didn't care to find one. So he let them continue their lives, saving them all by not acting. His smile grew wider, nearly splitting his face. "I'm a Hero! I just saved the city! This calls for a reward!" He was thinking of something to treat himself with, when he saw something pass by his face. Oddly enough, he also hear something go squelch.
He looked down again... and got hit in the face by a spray of blood. Blinking, he spied the source of the bloody reverse-rain. It was people! Of course, how could he be so silly. But what was this? Some guy who looked like he got his iron by eating actual nails decided that wack-a-mole would be more fun by using actual humans. That was... "YEAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The madman started laughing, holding his gut, howling in laughter at the creativity of this guy. He swayed on his feet, before falling over the edge of the building. He rolled down the wall, before grabbing it, sinking his fingers into the stony siding down, leaving a huge groove as he descended down. His laughter never stopped. He touched down to the ground, not with a thud, but with an unsettling silence, knees buckling to soften it, giving him the appearance of a rag doll.
He didn't stay there long though. He shot to his feet and began walking over to the killer, looking rather excited with an odd spring in his step. he had an eager smile on his face, and his eyes were still hidden behind his huge hair. His arms were at his side, and if the arrancar looked at his chest, he'd see a silver Quincy cross hanging from his neck. Four sided. "Kyukyukyu~, well hello dere handom! You luk lik jus muh type. Surrounded by bodies! Hehahahaha!" The fullbringer suddenly sounded like a woman, flirting with the killer. She had a think accent, and a crazed, but perverse tone to her. She got close to the man, uncomfortably close even. Then the apparent lunatic swung their arm at him. A beam of white energy erupted from the sleeve, intent on cutting the man down. Or, it would be, if it wasn't set on a course for his legs. "Woops! My hand slipped!"

As Rio stalked through the town venting his endless anger, he heard something that made him even angrier. Someone was laughing. A great, booming laughter that shook the area. Rio paused a moment. Then turned his head. There was a great big fucking idiot standing there, howling with laughter. And it was clear he was laughing at Rio's actions for it had only intensified as Rio had caused further havoc. There was something off about him. Something unnatural about how he moved. On another day, another minute, Rio might have studied and considered this, but right now he was too busy venting to care. All those unnatural mannerisms did, was ensure this guy was going to be the Espada's next target. Rio's movements were deliberate. His body language aggressive. These combined, resulting not in Rio moving like a golem-- composed and ominous, but like a great lion or terrible beast, his movements telling of unspeakable violence to come to those who stepped in his way. Although deliberate there was no stoicism or slowness in his movement, and there was an obvious air that if you moved into his path you would be blown aside as if trying to bar the path of a hurricane. And this natural disaster in human form was heading directly towards Kitai.
The other man approached Rio as well with that unnatural gait. He wasn't looking around curiously for the cause of the disturbance. He was looking at Rio. He could see him. "You can see me...." Rio growled. "And you're not running?" The Espada stood at his full height, which was still over half a foot shorter than Kitai. Rio was not a small man. He would have towered over most normal humans at six foot three in height, and yet Kitai was bigger than him still! That was astonishing, really. The man spoke to Rio with a mocking tone, and Rio's vision filled with a red haze. "You'll regret not high tailing it when you got the chance you--" Rio was cut off, his instincts detecting danger, and his eyes sharpened just in time to see the flash of movement and light. Rio shifted to the side, flinging his arms out and clear, and the beam of light lanced past him. For a man in an unbridled rage, Rio was extremely fast! And despite his thuggish demeanor, he was not a fool. Nor did he suffer them. In the next instant, Kitai would likely experience an impact slam into his torso. A normal human would have been more or less disintegrated by this impact, which would be akin to being hit by a train. In the instant Rio dodged, his arms flinging out to clear them from the path of Kitai's attack had simultaneously unleashed a shockwave of force. Rio was extremely well trained in using his shockwaves and could wield them as freely and flexibly as breathing. Launching one with a simple swing of his arms was a paltry task, and unlike many other shockwave users, his did not diminish in force. Kitai had just been attacked with the full force of one of Rio's natural punches.
And the best part, was that unless Kitai had the eyes of a hawk, he wouldn't see it coming. Wouldn't notice the ripple in the air, as it crashed toward him. "You're going to die." Rio snarled an instant after the shockwave would have struck. He postured up again, imposingly. "You're a Quincy are you?" He asked. "That's a shame. I'd hoped you were a Shinigami in disguise. No fun in beating down a chickenshit like your kind." He snapped. Rio had certain preconceptions. And to his eyes, all Quincy were cowardly little archers who feared getting up close and personal. Not worthy sport. Rio may have had a singular absolute hatred of all Shinigami, but he'd credit them with this much. At least the Shinigami's signature weapon was a sword, that forced them to battle in close range. They were looking their enemy in the eyes when they killed them, and saw the nature of their foe when they died. They were warriors. Pansy, third rate warriors that couldn't compare to any true arrancar, but he would not deny them that they were still warriors. Else there would be no point in this entire war with them. "There's no sport in killing your kind. I'll make this quick." He hissed.

To say Kitai wasn't able to react would have been an understatement. Not only was Kitai far too slow to even hope to dodge the point blank shockwave, from a master of them no less, he also lacked the perception to even see them. Thus, when Kitai was thrown back into the building he had jumped off of, it came as little surprise to anyone who knew the madman. To Kitai however? "...Ohh yes~..." To the fullbringer, it was a happy surprise. This guy was powerful, but more than that, this guy was strong. Kitai had used shockwaves enough times to know what one looked like, and that was a shockwave.
As the monstrous human lay there in a pile of rubble, the grin on their face grew. Finally! Someone that can match him in raw power! Kitai sat up, smiling inhumanly at the inhuman, before hearing it speak. "Quincy?" He asked, his words coming out like a barely contained laugh, almost mocking the arrancar. "You mean, heHA, YOU MEAN THOSE WITCHES? YEAHAHAHAHA!" Kitia seeming losing control over his laughter, laughing his words out at the hollow. The fullbringer was holding his sides, looking like he was barely holding himself upright from how hard the demented laughter came out.
If Rio could look past his rage for a moment, quite the feat since this 'lesser being', was mocking him so thoughtlessly, he'd notice that the Quincy cross was no longer around his neck. And if Kitai had been any quieter, he might have noticed the sound of what could only be described as something heavy, grinding into gravel. In fact, that might still be audible over his laughter. Kitai was crushing his fractured rib cage back together, as well as the many cracks in his arms. As durable as the albino might be, he was far from invincible.
He was quite the actor though, and hid his pain and injuries well. Kitai tried for his plasma blade, only to find it missing. More than likely destroyed in the blast. Lovely. Kitai quickly stood up, still wearing that twisted, hungry smirk. "HehHEHAhAHeHA! BRAVO, MY GOOD SIR, BRAVO! MY HAT GOES OFF TO YOU!" The fullbringer did a mocking bow, his hat in hand. Then he stood straight, and a Bazooka suddenly extended out of his left sleeve. "Now die for me!" The cannon fired a powerful yellow ball. It had 600 speed, and 900 strength, and it was headed straight for the arrancar.
Kitai might not be a Quincy like Rio claimed, but everything else he said was spot on. Kitai was a deceiver, a coward, a weak man hiding in the body of someone powerful. He had no qualms about lying, cheating, fighting dirty. He screwed with his opponents heads as much as he could. He was a pathetic sniveling coward, with the facade of a strong man. Kitai knew that honor was pointless once you were dead, so he got rid of it. The hat in Kitai's free hand transformed, taking on the appearance of a sword hilt, but the blade was replaced with a dark liquid. Only time would tell what it was.

Rio's face grew a savage grin as Kitai went flying into the building behind him. "Hyahahahaha! Well, I'll have to thank you afterall! That felt good!" Rio growled out gleefully, laughing wickedly. The laughter cut off as Kitai climbed back out, and resumed his laughing, the grin giving way to a scowl. "Well, you're still alive? What the shit?" Rio started advancing towards Kitai as the man howled with laughter at Rio's assumption. Rio had good ears. He could pick out the sound of Kitai's ribs being pressed back together with sheer muscle strength alone. "....I see. So that's how it is..." Rio said. Kitai's praise struck Rio, moments before the Bazooka did. The Espada's eyes noted the weapon that suddenly procured itself, instantly. "Fuckin' bitch...." Before the projectile hurtled at Rio. He was too close. No time to dodge it. Not that he wanted to. While Rio wasn't a complete idiot, what he was, was arrogant and prideful. Proud in the strength of his own two arms. The Espada did not even try to dodge Kitai's blast. Rio spaced his legs out and braced himself, and then, he caught the blast. Or tried to at least. Rio's arms surged forwards, catching the attack, only to realize the force was much greater than expected. His feet dug furrows into the earth as Kitai's attack drove Rio back. The Espada was unwilling to give even an inch, but the ground he stood upon was not so unyielding. The force of Kitai's attack pressed the Espada back, dirt and stones flying up behind him, as Rio attempted to use all of his strength to stop the ball. Even so, the Espada's arms were bending back, towards him, the attack pressing closer and closer.
"S.....Son of aaaa-----" The instant before the attack shattered Rio's defenses and struck the Espada squarely, Rio pushed off to the side, instead of directly against it. As though caught in a whirlwind, the Espada was thrown aside as Kitai's attack flashed onwards, undaunted, Rio hurled aside in its wake. The Espada smashed into a small brick house, hurled by the force. Kitai's blast smashed onwards through the town, without anything to slow or stop it now, and left a moment of silence behind it. Two deep trenches dug into the earth where Rio had been driven back, and the settling dust and debris from the hole he had just made in the building. A few additional bricks, balanced precariously, fell. Then the side of the house facing Kitai exploded outwards. Debris and another shockwave hurtled out from it straight at the Fullbringer, as Rio stormed out of the building, having blasted the wall apart with the same shockwave he was attacking Kitai with. The Espada's hands were trembling from having tried to stop Kitai's attack. His whole body was shaking, actually, as though his muscles were still adjusting to the effort and strain he had put upon them by trying to stop the blow. It was possible that his palms were burnt by trying to withstand Kitai's attack. "You're tougher than I thought." Rio snapped. "....That's fine." The Espada had a sword on his hip, but he had not yet drawn it. "This just means I can use you as a punching bag, and you won't break easily!" Rio said, setting off into a charge at Kitai.
The shockwave the Espada had blasted the house apart with, would possibly have blasted Kitai back. In which case, Rio was pursuing the course the Fullbringer's body would have been flung. Of course it was possible he had braced himself against this one-- the exploding wall had made it much easier to anticipate than his previous attack. Rio was mindful of the Bazooka now, as well as of the strange weapon that Kitai had drawn. This wasn't like ordinary vermin. This was a human that could fight back. That was rare. And it was even rarer that someone could attack with enough force to break through Rio's formidable physical strength. Rio was still angry. Oh he was livid. But he was cautious too. Rio spent so much time angry, that by this point in the arrancar's several millenia long lifespan, its affect on his mental facilities was minor. He could focus, pick up small details and even come up with strategies beyond "hit the other guy really hard" while in a blind rage. ...Right now, he just didn't want to. Kitai had proved himself dangerous, but in Rio's eyes he was still just trash. Resilient trash was still garbage at the end of the day. Only good for being broken down and cast aside. Though he hadn't launched a follow-up attack yet, the Espada rapidly closed on Kitai's position in a full charge, ready to resume his assault.

Kitai watched in twisted glee, as the foolish hollow chose, pfhh, chose to try and CATCH his attack! And as much as Kitai wanted to laugh at him for it, that was SO FREAKING COOL! The smile that came to his face became a little more genuine, as he looked on in a mixture of glee and surprise. Sure, the man was still thrown back like a bug trying to fly against the power of a fan, but the look of determination he had on his face while trying was just incredible! "HAHAHAHAHA! WHAT A BADA$$! D@MN I WISH I HAD THAT ON FILM! Jack gushed in jealousy."
Then he threw the thing to the side! He took a moment to appreciate the raw destruction he was able to cause from a single shot. And what was it his bazooka had fired? Why, hehe, it was a giant ball of raw cheddar cheese! Rio would be very able to smell the cheesy goodness that was now undoubtedly coating his hands, albit lightly. The cheese was extremely hot, so if Rio didn't shake it off quickly, it might start to cause him problems. Not that Kitai cared too much. It wouldn't be his fault if his opponent couldn't hang onto his blade. Actually it was!
He had been watching the cheeseball fly to nearly the edge of the city, thanks to a handy item on his eyes, when something exploded. It seems that the arrancar had indeed been tossed aside from the power of his fullbring. Man this guy had style! Trenches in the ground, destruction everywhere, what wasn't to like about this guy!? Then Kitai remembered what exactly he was. "D@mn. I'm sure we could've gotten along fine." He said under his breath, a dash of regret in his tone, not thinking he would be heard. Instead, he responded to the inhuman. "HEAHHAHA! A complement!? Are yall flirtin wit me?" Jill responded.
The Fullbringer chose not to let the Arrancar get to close, knowing that they were at the disadvantage in terms of speed, Kitai used his favorite move, breathing in deeply, and blowing winds matching and even surpassing anything a tornado could create, hitting the hollow with dust, debris, and enough wind to push him back. That and the smell of his rotten breath. He really loved being strong. In the middle of the distraction, Kitai raised his weapon, and fired a cheese bullet at the ground before the ghost, hoping to catch him with the explosion it would create.

The Fullbringer countered Rio's charge with a very unorthodox strategy. He had taken a deep breath and blew at Rio, creating a hurricane class wind. No fuckin' way... Rio could perform comparable feats, of course, but on a much smaller scale. The Espada braced himself against the hurricane, stamping forwards towards Kitai against the wind. As powerful a gust as Kitai was releasing-- one that would have blown away a lesser being, Rio was quite strong himself, and if it was just Kitai's breath, the Quinta could withstand it, even with debris slamming into him, and shattering on impact. Rio was an arrancar though, and his Hierro was not about to be broken through by simple rocks or fence posts, blown by a hurricane. As for the Espada's hands, while it was true they burned, Rio had a high threshold for pain and was angrily pushing through it. In fact, it was likely that Kitai's windstorm was blowing the cheese right off, and Rio was all too happy to let it, opening his palms to allow it to get blasted off. "Your breath reeks!" Rio snapped, and for someone with his heightened, animal-level senses this was true. It was unpleasant. But it wasn't so unpleasant, that the Espada didn't read the second cannon shot being readied. "You trash...." As Kitai fired, Rio allowed himself to get blown back, the cheese strike hammering the ground where he would have stepped an instant before, had he not read Kitai's move and used the Fullbringer's windstorm to his advantage. Now Rio was going to begin his counterattack.
A dark green orb began to form in his right hand. A Cero! Rio's eyes gleamed with savage delight, looking for his chance. Just as Kitai's storm would begin to slow down, Rio threw his arm forwards and a lightning fast shot hurtled out of his hand, at Kitai. Kitai's attack and Rio's defense, had pushed the Espada to medium range, but the attack he had just fired at Kitai through the aftermath of his storm was fast enough that reaction time would be very narrow. Kitai had a split second to avoid this attack. But something was odd about it. How odd would depend on Kitai's knowledge of hollows and arrancar. Although Rio had clearly charged a Cero, the attack he'd fired did not resemble one. It was too fast, and moderately small. Furthermore, most Cero took the form of giant beams or waves, not projectiles. Whether Kitai knew this, or even had the time to consider the oddity in the time needed to evade was uncertain. But there were possibilities of course. Perhaps this was a unique Cero, that Rio had devised himself right? Well. Such an answer would only be partially correct, because the attack flying at Kitai was not a Cero, but a Bala. Not that Kitai would know that for sure, until he saw the damage it could cause, or took the damage that is. But that also left a question. What the heck had been the attack Rio was charging? One of the advantages of Bala was that in addition to their speed they needed no charge time. Had Rio merely been holding it until the windstorm had slowed enough to fire it safely? Not a bad guess, but an incorrect one.
The Bala was a distraction, because Rio had fired a Cero. A very special kind of Cero. Cero Artimana, sometimes known as the Trick Cero. This Cero was noted for its ability to suddenly disappear and reappear behind an opponent. And that was precisely what had happened. Rio was an expert with this Cero, having trained it extensively to use it like this. Rio had fired the Cero and Bala simultaneously from the same hand. Rather than instantly colliding, however, the Trick Cero had vanished instantly, while the Bala had flown straight. While Kitai was watching the Bala, he was about to take a direct blast from behind, thanks to Rio's Cero, which suddenly bathed Kitai and his surroundings in a violent explosion of green reiatsu. Rio had accepted Kitai's strength. It pained him to admit it, but Kitai's physical might was probably greater than his. But how was his resilience to reiatsu-based attacks, he wondered. Just in case though.....
As the Cero Artimana and Bala detonated (hopefully) on Kitai's location, Rio leaped skyward, with incredibly powerful leg muscles and began to hurtle downwards toward's Kitai, arm primed for an attack. The moment, Rio detected a hint of Kitai's form in the dust cloud after his attack, he intended to hammer down on Kitai and send the man six feet under. Quite literally. I mean... Rio was no slouch in the strength department either, and while Kitai's physical strength was plenty ample to withstand Rio's punches, the ground beneath him probably was not, and would readily shatter under the force transmitted by the Espada's swing, quite likely driving Kitai into the ground. While Rio's arrogance allowed him to conceive that Kitai was severely or even fatally wounded by his Cero, and the Espada himself merely delivering the coupe de gras with his fist, it was certainly possible that Kitai had withstood or evaded the attacks. Still. This was a dangerous and aggressive combination attack from Rio, the Quinta Espada, and Kitai would have to work fast to react.
