Ah, the thrill of the hunt. Beast was tearing down a street, chasing after a quincy that he had the good fortune of running into. He wasn't fast though was the problem. She was highly scared though, and kept looking over her shoulder and tripping over things and allowing him to catch up. Soon she tripped and broke her leg as she fell down a flight of steps, eliminating her ability to run any more and get away. As he approached the woman, she formed a bow to try and fight him off with her arrows, but he sidestepped the arrow and broke her arm with a powerful kick. Incapacitated, he was about to place his hand on her face and devour her energy when his hand suddenly passed through her face like he was a ghost.
"What the..."
As the rest of his body vanished, he found himself standing in an abandoned looking warehouse with nothing but a big black puzzle box to show for his effort in hunting down the Quincy. Frustrated by the lack of a meal, Beast took a look around himself to see what else was in this place... Maybe he'd find a meal yet.
In his very typical manor Wycliff had been sleeping on a beach somewhere in the human world, not giving a care about anything other than enjoying the warm summer rays on his skin and the pleasant smell of sea salt in the air. This was truly his ideal way to take a nap. He had been so relaxed that without even knowing it himself he started to snore loudly, luckily this embarrassing act wouldn't be seen or heard by anyone around him given that he was the only one at the beach that had any sort of spiritual pressure.
His bliss however would be short lived as he was being slowly transported to another place, he however had no idea that this was going on still sleeping as the transfer finished. Laying on the floor in plain sight of all other people who had been bough here against their will he rolled over onto his side muttering something about it being cold. Still even though he had been rapidly and suddenly relocated from his warm sandy, beach bed to the cold, hard floor of what was a warehouse he still hadn't awaken yet.

Shōkan had been minding his own business in his study. Looking over reports. This Captain Quinn was audacious. Unfortunately Shōkan didn't yet have enough power to face her, if he didn't act soon then... Well, it certainly wouldn't be good. Sighing, he got up and went to stand on the balcony outside, rubbing his eyes, blurry from reading so many reports. He needed more power, and fast.
Suddenly, almost as if in reaction to these thoughts, Shōkan disappeared. When he materialized again, he was in a rundown, abandoned factory. Also in the area were two more Shinigami that he couldn't recognize, one blonde, laidback looking one. And another with a rather savage look about him, calmly, Shōkan assessed the room. In the center was a strange looking cube, floating in the center of the room. It looked almost like those puzzle boxes one could find to try ones wit. Sighing yet again, Shōkan thought to himself, 'No rest for the wicked I suppose.'
Turning to his fellow Shinigami, Shōkan said, "I assume none of us knows where we are?" Looking around, continued, "The doors and windows I doubt will be of any use." Shōkan thought this, purely from common sense, you don't get teleported to a mystery room, with a floating box in the center, and walk out the door. It just doesn't happen. "I can only conclude that we must interact with this box in some way gentlemen, thoughts?"
Shōkan used his aura and leadership ability, to help project a calming aura, one of confidence and reliability. If they all worked together, they would be much more likely to succeed.

It seemed that things were coming into place as more and more individuals would appear in the abandoned warehouse. At the beginning there had been no one and now the room was starting to be filled with spiritual entities. The first to arrive was a spiritual entity that reeked of ill will and Hollow reiatsu. He was a large broad entity that didn't seem to happy to be in this new place. The second to arrive would be a blonde Shinigami that didn't react really at all he simply appeared to be sleeping and kept it like that for he had not been awoken.
As the third entity arrived it started to appear in the warehouse finally an individual that was thinking about the situation and what must be at hand. Questions were stated or asked by him to those around him which might wake the blonde shinigami sleeping on the floor. These weren't the only entities to appear in the warehouse. Just after he had finished what he saying did another entity start to appear in the warehouse. A tall short dark haired man would appear that would instantly be giving off the sense of a Fullbringer.
As time continued just after the Fullbringer had finished appearing did another begin to appear. This entity was one that was known by more than a single entity already in the warehouse. A long dark haired Shinigami with a Vice Captain symbol attached to his left arm appeared. His eyes instantly scanning over the area around him. He quickly realized that one of the people around him was a family member that he had trained with known as Shokan Kawada. The other was the Vizard Grodd. Whatever this was it wasn't good at least not so far.
After Tsukuyomi appear the black box would send out what looked like a hologram made of light that it was projecting into the middle of the room. The hologram didn't take the form of an entity, but instead those of words. "You're lives are now at my disposal. Complete the assignment and you may return." What appeared next was the face of a Beast made from the hologram. This Beast didn't look like a threat at all it was small and seemed to be a rabbit. Beneath it's face were the words. "Weak yet fast, kill it quickly."
A sleeping Shinigami, a talkative Shinigami, and a blasted cursed damned fool of a Shinigami appeared after Beast. And a fullbringer, for some reason. Beast was less than talkative, cursing his bad luck. With being this outnumbered, he wouldn't gain a meal at all, rather it could cost him his life if he tried. All he could do was nurse his burn wounds on his chest that had been inflicted by the Nakabakki Vice Captain and grumble in the corner. The black box, however, let out a hologram of a rabbit like creature. "Weak yet fast, kill it quickly" the words said.
"A hunting mission... That's easy enough." Trying to stay away from the Shinigami who probably would do him harm, Beast just stuck to the side of the room next to the Fullbringer while he studied the hologram coming from the black box.
Wycliff eventually woke up as Shokan started asking questions about if they knew where they were or what was going on. Late to the situation as always it only dawned on him after he stood up and let out a loud yawn that this wasn't the place where he had taken a nap before, nor was it sunny. At the very least looking around the room there were two other shingami's one a vice captain and the other an unseated. His fourth seat marker on his right shoulder would let both of them know that he was at least a seated shingami.
Looking over at the black box it seemed that it wanted them to go and hunt a rabbit like creature. With the only clue that it moved quickly but it was weak. This situation really wasn't his type, but whatever it seemed that the other two were more than interested in doing it rather than trying to get back to the soul society. “So ya, have either of ya two tried using Senkaimon to get back to headquarters?” Wycliff had been the last to actually take note of where and what was going on so he didn't know if either of these two had tried anything yet. He wasn't exactly excited to go and hunt down what looked like a cute bunny.

The time limit was nearing its end as the participants that had been gathered for the assignment were shown there target. One of the individuals seemed to have no problem with the idea of hunting down the rabbit while the other didn't seem to have any drive to do so at all. He was more concerned with whether or not any of the other Shinigami present had tried to actually get back to Soul Society or not yet. While his question was one that should have obviously been asked it wouldn't matter because even if they all tried opening a Senkaimon Gate wasn't possible and one could only guess because of the box.
Tsukuyomi stood looking over the display of the same rabbit looking creature that he knew to be a Beast Clan. His former Captain had always told him that Beasts were especially powerful and adapt practitioners of physical combat and that they were some of the most stubborn and strong willed entities in existence. He knew that for her to speak on anything like that it meant that they were truly something to not be underestimated. He knew that he was fairly quick compared to the average entity, but he wouldn't count that as an advantage when the box was already informing them that this rabbit was fast.
He knew that Grodd was in the room with the rest of them and although the both of them had only fought little more than a week ago and his wounds had only finished recovering a few days ago this wasn't the time to finish what had been started in London. Tsukuyomi was exhausted. He hadn't been getting much sleep the last week after what had happened in London thanks to Grodd. Although in truth he blamed himself more than the Vizard that was a mere two meters from him. He would deal with this box first and then try to capture Grodd.
Suddenly each individual in the room would feel the weight on their dominate side get only a pound or so heavier. It was of course on their dominate side and if they bothered to look they'd see that there appeared to be what looked like a hilt on their belts or sash. It looked futuristic made of pitch black metal that was cold to the touch. There was no blade to be seen though so what was it's purpose? They'd have to find out later as suddenly each of them would see a different projection in front of them. A Clock!
3:00:00
2:59:59
IT WAS COUNTING DOWN!
This brought in a whole new factor to what they had been gathered to do. They weren't only being sent to hunt down this small Beast, but now it seemed they had a time to do it in. Then yet another change occurred. Suddenly they'd all feel something cold around their dominate wrist. Just like the hint it had suddenly been where it hadn't been. A black wrist band with a small blue crystal in the middle that was shaped like a diamond. They wouldn't have any time to discuss this with one another as all of them would suddenly see massive buildings all around them, bright lights, cars all over the place not to mention people and then it'd hit them. They were in New York City!
As soon as his feet "hit the ground" in New York City, Beast was off, dashing as far away from the other Shinigami as he could get. His hand slipped into his pocket and removed his precious item that he had found just lying around one day. His Soul Searcher. He wasn't sure what this sword hilt and bracelet were for, but he didn't really care right now. Instead, he would rely on his Energy Sensory, his wits, and his Soul Searcher. As he was right next to Wycliff and Shokan at first, the compass would point towards them. As he dashed through the traffic, eventually it would turn to face a different target. The nearest spiritual figure.
Hopefully that would be the beast that he was tracking. A small rabbit like creature. Beast had inherited Grodd's absolute distaste, distrust, and really hatred of Beast Clan. They had never done right by Grodd, and Beast had felt that seep into his soul. That hatred burned in Beast's heart and soul as he pursued his prey. This would be a challenge to complete in three hours, sure, but it would be fun. And at the end, maybe Beast would even get to consume the beast clan member. Beat it up, have some fun with it, then eat it and drink of its life force and power... Yes, that would be something to look forward to. All he had to do was keep those Shinigami away from him so that his Soul Searcher would work...
Wycliff felt the weight on his belt as something was added, a solid black hilt of a blade. It seemed to lack an actual weapon, but that was fine he really didn't need to use anything to try and capture the rabbit like creature. Tho he was wondering where a rabbit like animal would try and hide in such a gray and odd looking place. It's not like there was anything here that really could hide them. Just as those thoughts passed his mind he felt the same sensation as before and was instantly in New York, he could tell from the buildings and a subway station saying something about 5th avenue.
With the wild man running away he shook his head and looked at the other two shingami who had been strangely silent this entire time. Wycliff really didn't care for cities like this, but there was one good place to this city of stone and metal. “Central park, we're looking for a rabbit right? Well the best place for a critter like that would be the park. The both of ya can head which ever way ya want, I'm heading to the park.” To him it made sense that the rabbit like animal would be drawn to an area with vegetation and plenty of places to hide. With that he took off for the park his eyes looking around as he moved towards there just in case he saw something of interest before he got there.

Seeing as how Grodd was going alone, Shōkan was inclined to let him do so. However, he had no skill whatsoever in tracking, only above average senses for a normal human on top of that. For this, he would have to use his wits to analyze the situation. New York City was massive, however, there were only a few places where a rabbit speeding through the city wouldn't be strange, and cause a hubbub. The most obvious of this place was, as Wycliff had said, Central Park. With this information in mind, Shōkan walked after Wycliff, catching up to him and informaing him of his observations.
"Wycliff, you're of Squad 4 right? I'm Shōkan Kawada, of Squad 11. Central Park is probably the best place to search for it, seeing as how that would be the only place it wouldn't attract undo attention. I don't have any tracking skills really, but I am exceptionally quick and strong, I feel like our skills would synergize a bit, assuming you aren't a front line melee fighter as per your squad. We should work together no? Divide and conquer Central Park?"

Beast was on his own not wishing to get involved with anyone else at all he went off on his own utilizing a tool that hadn't been given to him by the box, but one that he had acquired elsewhere. As he moved throughout the city he was tracking down the reiatsu signature of what had to be the closest one near him. It would take him a few minutes to reach a distance away from the other shinigami that had been summoned as well as the Fullbringer before the compass of his soul searched pointed in a different direction. Assuming that Beast would immediately head off towards that new location he'd reach a modest enough apartment building after a few more minutes.
He'd most likely go right on in since as a spirit no one that wasn't spiritual in nature would be able to see him. Once inside it wouldn't be hard to follow the soul search instructions which would lead him to the third floor to a plain enough looking grey door at the end of the hallway with a window to the corresponding alley on his right side. The soul searcher was giving him the go ahead whatever it was pointing at was behind this door which meant he'd more than likely be the first one to find and kill this small little rabbit.
2:44:25
As for the others Shokan, Wycliff, Tsukuyomi and the Fullbringer they all seemed to stick together. Tsukuyomi was content to think over the situation that somehow he had gotten into while Wycliff and Shokan spoke and came to a conclusion on where exactly they think the best possible location for a rabbit Beast clan to be at in New York City. They came to the agreed conclusion that the best bet was going to be central park and when Tsukuyomi heard it he honestly didn't have anything to include it seemed as reasonable a assumption as anything else he could think of.
So onward the small group went for a few minutes until they eventually found the largest green piece left on the small bottom edge of New York. When they got there they'd see that it was dark unlike the rest of the city it didn't have as many lights sure there were still some, but it was much darker in the park than in the streets. They were all spiritual aware though and three of them were shinigami so backing down just cause of a little darkness wasn't going to happen. The human kept looking over his shoulder and for some reason just seemed to be wrapped up in something else like he was worried about something.
He was constantly shaking in what one would think was terror, but why was he so afraid? If any of them took a moment to look they'd actually be able to see that there was sweat running across the human's body. What had him so scared that he was this physically shaken? Tsukuyomi was still trying to find the reason for the hilt and bracelet that each of them had been given, but it seemed that despite all reason saying they were both important he couldn't figure out how. As they entered into central park the night was sure to begin anew. As anyone could could sense reiastu would suddenly pick up the reiatsu of a Beast clan in the center of central park.
