Walt sighed as Zahra yelled to be let out of the chair. All he wanted was peace. With a snap of his fingers, all of the chairs were replaced with stools that could be sat on or didn't have to be. He restored freedom of movement, prompting some of the mercenaries to physically move over to the Demon's "side" of the bubble. Walt shook his head and rubbed his temples. "Alright, there you go. My dream was for all of us to sit as equals, but I guess there is too much animosity in the Beast Clan and the Vandenreich for us to be able to do so. There's your freedom, do with it as you wish. If you walk twenty feet or so away from this table you will find yourself back in my theme park."
Zahra yelled and yelled to be let out of her chair and once she was released, she almost threw herself forward. She caught herself before she fell forward and just sat there in awe. The pressure was gone. She looked around and it seemed that everyone else was freed as well. She looked around and noticed others were moving. She listened to him tell her the way to get out and she was thinking about that.
Until she remembered something. He was holding something shiny. Her shiny alarm went off in her head. It was almost unbearable. To go after the shiny or to leave this place.... It was a very hard decision for her. Actually, not that difficult for you see, shiny won out every single time. So, she walked straight up to the man and looked at him. "Zahra want shiny. How Zahra get more shiny?" She was very curious as to how to get more shinies.

Amalia chuckled to herself softly, finding the reactions of the others to be laughably naive. For Amalia, it was of no concern how others decided to embrace this request. Initially, she was insulted by the deception, though she understood it. There would have been no reason for any faction to aid this man unless he provided a reason for them to be suspicious. As elaborate as this even was, it was taxing her patience. Even so, she couldn't deny her boredom. She had been searching for something exciting for a while. With bitter reluctance, she accepted that this would be entertaining no matter how it transitioned.
The sooner she gains access to her powers, the better. Then the fun will truly begin. Also, the man never mentioned that she couldn't betray the others as she went about completing these various tasks. What better way to catch someone off guard than to feign an alliance. She contemplated for a moment before staring directly at the emissary of hell. "Alright. I'll participate in this little game. I'll side with you. I'll collect those colorful rage crystals, but I expect to be compensated in some way as I collect them. I can't be expected to do much without my powers, though." She scoffed as the thought of having to do this without her techniques.
Staring calmly at Souza, and with a faint smile, she asked him to follow. "Souza, wouldn't you much rather come with me and we can work on this task together? After all, we only just met and it would be such a shame if we were separated so soon. It would be especially sad if this divided us. There is so much fun to be had!" She said flirtatiously, bearing her teeth in a smile. "It will be much easier to gather these 'rage crystals' than collecting a myriad of other crystals wanted by him." She gestured disrespectfully at Disney. "If if pleases you, we can eve bring your pet." She leaned in and whispered softly. "I can't say I'll be nice to the rabid beast, but if she amuses you, we can't bring her." Amalia turned and smiled at Zahra, her words dripping with insult.
"So, what say you emissary of hell? I would like you to further elaborate on where these crystals can be found. And why you believe they alone can slay this creature when he explains that a collection of the three will suffice? What about these possessed greater power, I wonder?" She said, staring curiously at the red crystal. She wanted to know what power these crystals possessed. The whole situation felt very peculiar and she wasn't about to commit to something without all the facts. She wanted more information on the man representing hell and why he believes the rage crystals are the key to defeating the creature born from this man's nightmares.

Dread lifted her brows when of all things, Walt gave in to the demands and allowed them free roam. She of course noticed that almost instantly, Niraja made her way over to Zahra and had begun petting the Jackal. Rolling her eyes, she sighed, but well, at least hopefully Nira's skill would save her. She was very good with animals. But that aside, Dread shifted her attention to the quincy and simply watched calmly as the woman went on. However, her attention did shift over to the man she seemed so very... fixated on.
Dread tilted her head and couldn't help but chuckle softly, shaking her head a little and rubbing the side of her face. A Kuchiki. Her eyes had passed over his name for a moment. And Paiva's as well. But his only now suddenly caught in her mind. Someone as old as her didn't live by not being aware of the Kuchiki. That smile on her lips widened and she couldn't help but rub at the back of her neck, letting that gorgeous pale hair of hers spill past her shoulder as she turned her head. Fingers carefully running through those locks in little pinches, her fingers preening herself in pairs as she spoke.
"I suppose introductions have become somewhat moot at this point." She noted, glancing at her own name over her chair before she let her shoulders roll back. "So then. Souza Kuchiki. The spitting image of Onuya." She mused thoughtfully. At least compared to the last image she'd seen of the man. But even that had been so very very long ago. Her head canted to the side, and she paused, lightly tapping her chin softly. she tried to remember the last Kuchiki she had actually met in the flesh... "You seem much less ruthless than your ancestors. I suppose reminding you that whatever choice you make here will reflect what sort of family you represent would be a bit pointless wouldn't it?" She shrugged lightly, casually steepping in the man's direction as her eyes only briefly shifted toward Paiva. Briefly. Almost dismissively.
"But. If memory serves. Your family does love it's pride does it not? If you like, I'd like to propose a little bet. If you'd rather not, there's no worry. I understand that well... a decision of this magnitude is a dire thing. Even a Kuchiki would have to focus his attentions. So I understand if something extra would prove far too much for a young man like you." She noted with a shrug. Playing him casually. Idly. Not caring if it worked or not. She was too old to care. Were she not part of The Seven, she might not have even listened to walt disney. She would be walking out of here, to head back to her menos forest.
But since she was here. An attempt at amusement was always on the menu. And Kuchiki were so very fun to play with. Lifting a finger, she gestured pointedly at Paiva. "Why don't you join her? I'm sure the rest of us can handle mr. Walt's task well enough on our own. We are weak creatures, but there are quite a few of us. Yes? But should we fail. I'm sure you as our backup? We should be in very safe hands." She pointed out reasonably. Logically. "So go and join this fine young quincy. And....." She would lean in and if he were so calm as to allow her, she would gently whisper into his ear.
Before standing back and smiling. She was well aware that it was a silly bet. VERY silly indeed. Almost childish and stupid. And chances were any normal individual would ignore it. But he was a kuchiki. And he had been, however casually, challenged. And in fact, she would be MUCH more entertained if he declined. After all, if there was one thing Dread had learned to enjoy as she aged, it was being proven wrong.
"If you like, we can even speak later about a wager. But for the time being, you don't even need to answer. I just thought I'd snare your audience when I had the chance." She noted with a fond little shrug. Promptly about-facing and making her way back over to Ryunossuke.

Souza had hoped to interact more with Amalia but it seemed that this was where paths would diverge. Unless, of course, he could convince her to change her allegiance. Also a possibility. However he remained silent as he watched and listened. Amalia voiced her opinion of trying to get him to side with her. Kazura Uzaki intended to side with Walt Disney. Yet it seemed all of those present were here to take sides... Were it for the greater good or for self benefit. Yet how odd to trust these people so suddenly? To lock them in chairs, to even temporarily rob them of consciousness, to strip them of powers... Souza understood the reasoning behind it, yet the deceit made him skeptical all the same.
How could he suddenly volunteer to work with anyone here? Especially if that also entailed being on the same side as an Espada or members of Xcution. He did not necessarily mind races or even working with other factions, but he doubted that he could even get permission from the Captain Commander for something like that. Furthermore, without a Captain for his own Squad, Souza needed to act as if he was the acting Captain for now. He needed to show a certain level of poise and dignity, leadership even, until a new Captain appeared. For now, Souza decided that the only person to trust was himself. The best option was to trust not in new powers, but in the Soul Society that had stood for 33,000 years.
"All of you make good points," Souza said aloud. "For a man as clearly good hearted as Kazura Uzaki to trust you, Mr. Disney, I cannot help but put some faith in you as well. Yet Amalia too has a point. The circumstances under which we were brought here merit skepticism." Souza's eyes drifted well toward Amalia and he looked at her right in her beautiful eyes. With a cool headedness that he had not displayed even with her, a whole new level of sudden professionalism and poise, Souza continued to speak. At that moment he looked like a Greek God of old, a Roman statue perfectly comfortable as if he owned the room. Haughty, head held high, Souza's voice was commanding and would resound throughout and capture the room.
This was one of the advantages of being raised in such high birth. One learned natural leadership of this variety. "Yet I cannot trust a faction from Hell. Hell, which is known to be deceitful. Which is known to give power at the greatest cost in the world. Therefore I can trust neither of these parties. I am not interested in petty bets or in growing stronger still. I am as strong as I need to be. Instead, what I will do is work separate from any of these options. I will confiscate these crystals in the name of the Captain Commander of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads. To me, that is the definition of what is the greater good. For this, I will work on my own terms."
Souza then focused exclusively on Amalia. "And if you were to join me, Amalia, we could form our own faction in this venture. When we are victorious we can decide together how to divide up the crystals... Through a battle too if you would enjoy that." And along came a cool smile of absolute confidence. An infuriating challenge. That Souza thought he could never possibly lose to Amalia in combat was obvious. He was certain that she would fall every single time. No, he was certain that he could even bring her to his side during combat. And that in itself may very well be infuriating to Amalia herself... So this was Souza's decision.
"I am always victorious. Therefore I am always correct."

Amalia contemplated Souza's words. "Create our own faction, you say?" She tapped her fingers on the chair as she closed her eyes. Tap. Tap. Tap. "Well...there are some advantages to having you along for the journey. Then again..." Her expression darkened as she glared at Souza. "You are a Shinigami and instinct has always told me to distrust you as a people. You're not particularly good at holding your end of the bargain." Amalia waved her hand in the air as she spoke. "I suppose, for now, I can overlook such historical facts and work alongside you."
"Who would be accompanying us? Unless you plan for it to be just the two of us?" Amalia was willing to side with Souza, but unwilling to trust him. She knew all too well what Shinigami were like. To make matters more complicated, she trusted him even less for being a Kuchiki. His arrogance was practically infinite. From the the tone of his voice alone she knew he believed to be advantaged in this pairing. Despite her attraction to Souza, she couldn't resist the hatred coursing through her veins. Such detestable arrogance. He appeared to be one of the more arrogant Shinigami she's encountered.
It all ends the same way, however. She's come across many like him, men and women alike. They possess the title of Shinigami and so they are cradled by entitlement and a false sense of superiority. In the past, she has always received tremendous pleasure from watching the mighty fall to their knees before she lops off their head. Scenes from the Soul Society replayed in her mind. She could see their faces, their weapons. It all ended the same way, with them lying on the ground awaiting death. Oddly, however, she didn't want to kill Souza. In fact, she was hoping his Shinigami nature would be subdued. She wanted to enjoy his company without having to worry about him trying to kill her for being a Quincy.
Her instincts were screaming from the center of her being. They were screaming for her to maintain her guard for he was nothing more than a Shinigami. A shinigami who has already declared himself the winner before a fight had even been decided. Amalia quieted the voice inside her head and stared calmly at Souza. "Okay." She said matter-of-factly. "I'll side with you." She tilted her head and smiled at the emissary of hell. "I guess you were factored out of the equation." She said with a honeyed tone. She placed her hand on the chair and squeezed tightly. "So,when can we get started? I'm bored. I'm also growing increasingly impatient."

OOC: Wrapping up this thread now.
The Hell Emissary scoffed at Amalia's flip flopping of allegiances so quickly. Fire burned a nearby patch of earth and vegetation as he forced him and his mercenary groups out of the bubble with a flash. Hell had left, for now, having converted none of the high profile factions to its side. But it would always be there, a temptation for those who wanted more power. They didn't even have to use the power against the Demon, necessarily. Those who found crystals and wanted power could always seek the Emissary and he would find them and grant them the power of anger and rage trapped in the dream crystal.
Walt sighed at Souza and Amalia's decision to keep their dream crystals for themselves. "In what way does it merit skepticism? I invited you to my birthday party, enforced peace among factions that would kill each other in a heartbeat. If that is how you feel, then I must let you go from here on your own. If Quincy and Shinigami can work together, perhaps I am not needed." With a wave of his hand, the two were gone from the dream bubble. "If you want the shiny, Zahra, you can go with them. Or you can bring them back to me. Your choice."
Disney looked at the remaining representatives, the ones that had pledged themselves to him. "I have many dreams that I have located that need your attention. Please, approach the globe and explore which dream you would like to help me with."
PM me with your choice in mission and who you will be threading with and I'll get it set up! Maximum 2 people from this thread per dream bubble since this event is open to the whole site.
