Disney World... The Land of Magic. People come from all over the world to lose themselves in the excitement and the magic of the theme park. The park was usually filled with guests, but on this day the first of December it was fairly still. It wasn't a cold day, but it wasn't warm either. The air was mostly still save for the hum of electricity in the air. Very powerful spiritual figures had arrived at the entrance to the park. The flocked from numerous factions, all bearing golden Magic bands around their wrists. One by one they were allowed into the park by cheerful greeters who told them to enjoy their stay at the Magic Kingdom.
The park was filled with devices that were distinctly spiritual. Lightning rods were on top of most every building, but did the opposite of taking in energy safely. Instead, these rods filled the air with an aura of peace. Kidou, Cero, Releases, every form of technique was currently shut off by the park. Dozens of guests had tried to get violent, only to find that the costumed characters were more than strong enough to eject them from the premises and revoke their ability to return. Someone, or something, was extremely intent on keeping the violence between factions at a minimum. After all, that was a minimum if you were going to invite some of the most powerful armies in the Three Worlds.
Ryunosuke Hamada, the Segunda Espada, represented the walled city of Las Noches. He would be investigating how even Sonken Kouhai could not detect or stop an intruder from entering the throne room of the city of night. Souza Kuchiki, Vice Captain of the 13th court guard squad of the Seireitei would be representing the Order of the Soul Society. He would be investigating how the Soul Society could be invaded without use of the Senkaimon or the Dangai that his Squad oversaw. Paiva Amalia Vollbrecht, loved Stern Ritter of His Majesty's Vandenreich would be present as well. She would be investigating how their secret world had been breached so effortlessly. Though the three would be at odds, they would be unable to fight very well in this place.
Shizuka Sanamizu would represent Xcution and complete her duty as one of Satsujun's Rifles if the need arose. She would be investigating how both Satsujun's office and Byrpesia were breached, though the later was just a network of the minds of Xcution members. Was it a mole? Or something more serious. Zahra the Beast clanswoman would also be present, as her people, though scattered and mostly leaderless, also had received invitations. Many more powerful figures were present, such as Uzaki Enterprises' CEO Kazura who was worried about the security of his company. Even recordings had no clues as to how the boxes were left.
All the players were present, with their only instructions to enjoy themselves and make sure to check out Cinderella's Castle before they leave.

Ryunosuke was a genre-savvy-asshole. It was like one of his defining features. He could tell a con when he saw one, and he knew when an offer was too good to be true. If someone was bullshitting him, he'd known. And so, in one of the most aggressively artificial places that the human world had to offer, located in what was according to his formerly-American opinion the shittiest state, he was fucking floored by how goddamn stupid everyone had to be to be fooled by the magic of Disney.
Like, holy shit. Attention to detail out the wazoo, but things were just too fucking perfect. He hadn't seen a goddamn bug since he'd entered the park, and given where they were? That was just outright suspicious. But honestly, the biggest question resting on Ryu's mind was who was behind all of this. Where did the Disney magic end, and where did the spiritual magic start? As he wandered through crowds, he began to realize he recognized people every so often. People of some renown in the spiritual world.
Which made sense. Everyone had the golden wristbands, which had been delivered to Las Noches, and presumably other factions, in a very suspicious way. Which was to say, at all. No one really sent things to Hueco Mundo, and those who did certainly didn't deliver it directly to Kouhai's throne room without fucking getting caught. Kouhai had looked genuinely....befuddled, when he had opened up the gift box, and retrieved the wristband from inside.
And Ryu, as his new right hand man, had been selected to accept this invite, and figure out who was running this shitshow. So here he was, in Disney world. He briefly checked his wallet. Shit. Only a few hundred bucks, that would barely cover a meal in this bizarre attraction. Whatever. He was in, that was what mattered. And honestly, more importantly, he was back home, in America, in the human world. No matter how much of his humanity he abandoned while working for Kouhai, he still had an affinity for the human world.
He glanced around, eyes settling on a sign. "No fucking way. Since when?" He asked, the crowd around him oblivious. He broke into a dead sprint, muttering to himself on repeat. "Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit, holy shit." He began to tunnel vision, tracking the signs, ignoring the crowds around him, dead set on going to the single best exhibit here, the only exhibit worth visiting. He'd of course be on the lookout for clues, but like, this shit was also a vacation, right?
And given that he hadn't managed to make it to a comic con in a few years, Ryunosuke wouldn't miss the Star Wars attractions for the goddamn world.
A pair of long, slender legs stomp toward the gate, as though the pavement were a runway. The ankle-cut boots making a subtle clicking sound as she glides across the ground, her voluminously, layered skirt bobbing as she walks, her hips accentuating her every move. Her tight corset-type top sways slightly beneath her snow-white, cropped cape-jacket, embossed with the Vandenreich symbol. Her gait allows her to quickly catch the others, as they enter the mysterious wonderland. She places her hand on her hip and glances at her surroundings, keeping a close eye on the others. Her eye instantly focuses on Zahra, causing her lips to purse and face to crinkle softly. "Despite the vexing circumstances surrounding this invitation, I would expect there to be a modicum of refinement. Even beastly dogs were invited to this blasphemous gathering. How insulting!"
She continued to assess the locale and the company quietly in her mind, though she could not help but find the mechanisms and masked figures alarming. Her eyes carefully surveyed the area, her senses attempting to pick-up on the slightest irregularity. She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, "I cannot sense anything particular about this place. It is devoid of what I might expect. All I can truly sense are the others, which makes this venue you all the more concerning. Who would have the audacity...no the power, to bring us all here?" She looked at her wrist, the golden band glowing softly. Rolling her eyes, she raised her right hand abruptly. "No answers will be discovered by simply staring and gaping." She commented loudly She snaps her finger, but is followed by absolute silence. Her eyes grew wider, but she shrugs off the bewilderment for but a moment, snapping once more. She incredulously stares at her side before placing her hand in front of her, opening her palm as if she expected something to appear there.
She gasped and stared quizzically at her palm, her eyes shuffling back and forth."What the hell?" She returned to the safety of her mind, quickly trying to assess the circumstances she just witnessed. "I can't summon Teilchenaufprall...In fact, I can't seem to gather spirit particles at all." She tries to maintain her composure, hoping the others were too distracted to notice her brief moment of panic. "Dammit. If I can't use my powers, I am completely vulnerable. I need to find a weapon! I am in grave danger without my ability to summon my Eiku." She stared forward, her eyes scanning the area. She softened her face, confining the confusion and panic to her mind. "How can someone be powerful enough to stifle my abilities? Did they thin the reishi in the area? I can barely read such things. It is as if my spiritual self is being repelled."
She exhaled and inhaled deeply, calming her mind. "Calm yourself, Amalia. First, find a weapon. Then you can determine what is creating this dissonance and who is responsible, though I have a pretty good idea of what might be causing such difficulties." She stares venomously at the buildings and masked characters walking about. "I wonder what these fools are thinking and will do next. I can only assume they are affected, too. I highly doubt I am the only one experiencing such difficulties... I suppose I could find a way to enjoy myself. I should find out where are the princesses spend their time, I obviously am the only one that will be privileged enough to stand among them. Yes, this is a fabulous idea. I'll seek out where the princesses hide and procure a weapon and elegant company. Every princess should have a weapon..." She chuckles to herself softly, walking past the others, glaring back to see if any dare follow.
"Murder? No, I don't involve myself with anything quite that barbaric. What I do is simpler: I cleanse the world of those not suited for existence." - ✱Paiva "Amalia" Vollbrecht✱
Zahra looked up at the massive buildings and gate. She still couldn't believe what had arrived at her doorstep. She had never received anything that looked like this before. It was something golden and of course, she loves her shiny things. Therefore, she immediately put it on. She then looked at the note in the box, saying that she needed to get to a place called 'Disney World.' She didn't know of a place like that existing.
So, she ventured into the Seireitei where all the shinigami gathered. Since she saw them using that gate so many times, she figured that she would ask them. So, once she got there, she asked the first shinigami she saw about the place called Disney World. The first one just looked at her funny and when she talked, his eyes bugged out and he ran off. She looked at him weird and then asked the next shinigami.
She calmly told her where it would go and actually led her to the division that would know more about the schedule of the gate. She thanked her and resisted the urge to lick the woman in thanks. She knew that anyone outside her own kind would probably hate anything like that. Once she was led to the division, she started to talk to other shinigami. It seemed that there was another shinigami that was heading for the same place.
Zahra was a little surprised that there was one and they just told her to not touch anything and wait for his arrival. It didn't take too long until she saw another shinigami arrived. The first thing she noticed was that he was wearing a similar gold band. The shininess immediately distracted her and she just stared at his wrist. The gate was opened and he moved forward to enter the gate. It was then that the shinigami that was working the gate snapped his fingers.
It immediately got her attention and she motioned for her to move. Since she had used one of these gates before, she quickly ran through it and saw the light at the end of the tunnel, following the shinigami. It led her to staring at the buildings. Since everyone else was moving, she was moving with the crowd, just looking around at all the bigness. She didn't really pay attention to anyone else in the little group.
Once through the gate, the smells hit her. Her ears immediately started to flick around the area, trying to catch all the sounds and her nose was trying to discern all of the smells. Her tail flicked excitedly as she tried to figure out just what to do next. It was then that she saw them. Huge animals. She looked and smiled at them, immediately thinking that they were other Beast-Clansmen.
She would walk up to them and sniff around them, trying to figure them out. The only thing was, they didn't really smell like what she expected the animal to smell like. She was looking confused, looking all over one of the costumed animals before moving onto the next. She was puzzled as to why this was going on. Why didn't they smell normal? Why were they just standing around? Why are they acting so weird with me doing this when this is the social norm?
After doing this for a good amount of time, she heard someone snap their fingers. She immediately turned her head towards the noise, since something that sharp grabbed her attention immediately. The woman then said what the hell and the look on her face was interesting. The woman was obviously confused. Zahra started to walk towards the woman, since obviously she had something to say.
If she didn't have anything important to say, why in the hell would she snap her fingers? She slowly walked towards the woman as she saw her face go through some weird features before going back to a more stoic expression. Once Zahra got close to the woman, she asked, "You okay? Zahra heard snapping of fingers. You need Zahra to do something? You very pretty." If the woman answered her or not, Zahra would start to follow the woman.
"Come on, Souza!" Her face was beautiful, it really was. Foofy, flowing brown hair, thick and bearing an appearance of softness, high cheekbones on a face with hazel eyes, and lips always in some sort of smile. Even without makeup, she was a sight to behold. With makeup, she was a goddess. And she always looked trendy, too. It had been cooling down lately, so the turquoise sweater she wore was appropriate. But, she was never tacky. Jewelry on one of her thin wrists made sure she still had uniqueness to her appearance, and her jeans did not clash with the outfit either. She could dress, and she was beautiful. More importantly, she was good natured, funny, and very intelligent.
Rebecca Chu-Li. Souza quite liked these human world girls. She was born to this country, "America," but her parents hailed from a heritage which more resembled Souza's family, "Asia," which was a greater land mass called a continent. In particular, the country was called "China." He liked these human world girls for their modernness. For the mixes and blends of culture surrounding them. Girls in Soul Society typically belonged to a much more traditional lineage, and their values were much more predictable. Certainly, this was true of the nobles whom Souza frequently went out with back home. These trips to the human world to meet people were far more fulfilling.
Autumn leaves descended from a tree above in a cascade of beautiful orange, brown, and all the in betweens. Souza, a smile on his face, gracefully took only two or three steps to take her hand in his and join her. You're popular, aren't you, boy? the voice of the white dragon asked in his mind. It's important to keep trying. The moment you give up, you're lost. That was the mistake my other self made. Then, a second voice in Souza's mind, that of his other self. We'll see.[/b][/color] Yes, Souza was on a date with a human world girl here in Disneyworld! Of course, she had no idea who he was. Not even the faintest clue. She just knew he was some good looking guy around her age who had some degree of wealth.
And the wealth, she would only be able to tell by evaluating his outfit. Black tommy hilfiger shoes, not the cheap kind from Ross, but the more pricey ones you could only find in Top Shop. Well fitted, deeper red khakis that Souza's father would have approved of. A very dark gray crew neck long sleeve, though his sleeves were rolled up to the elbow. On his left wrist, a silver, metal watch from Raymond-Weil, worn on a different wrist from his wristband for the amusement park. Around his neck, a light silver chain with a pendant shaped into a black rose attached to it. A solemn reminder of Souza's own broken heart. His hand in Rebecca's, being led to the next ride by this beautiful girl, Souza already knew this one wasn't quite it either.
She was wonderful, and he truly did enjoy being around her. "Space Mountain is your favorite, isn't it?" she asked him. "I'm surprised you remembered!" Souza replied as they strapped into the ride. He leaned in close. "But between you and I, French Space is much cooler than American Space." A reference to how Souza preferred Disneyland Paris's Space Mountain attraction to Florida Disneyworld's. Rebecca's eyes rolled. "There is no such thing as French Space. It's all just space," she admonished. "Yes, except part of it is French and better," Souza responded with a wink. "You're ridiculous." Another eye roll. She was fun, and she was beautiful.
But.... When he saw her, his heart didn't elate as it should. This wasn't their first date. Souza always tried to be thorough before deciding. First dates were always fun, but not enough to decide how far it could go. Love did not happen all at once, but by now Souza knew this date might be the last one with Rebecca. No matter what, when he looked at her beauty, it was as if the black rose pendant around his neck slammed as a heartbeat, telling him this was wrong. As if the mark left by Ivy Reizei even now foretold to Souza that his heart was still too broken by the loss of his best friend, the girl he'd grown up alongside. And, it foretold of Shiaki too. The girl that had betrayed Souza to Lord Callus.
Two heartbreaks were even worse than one. The temporary couple was engulfed in black as lights exploded around them and the roller coaster began. Yes, Souza's fragmented, fragile little heart was still all too brittle. In the distance, beyond his thoughts, he could hear Rebecca's ecstatic cry of joy at the ride. He too smiled, deciding to pocket that for the moment. Certainly, Souza was on a mission, which was why he'd picked Disneyworld. However, he was also on a date. It was a good opportunity, right? The ride ended, with the two stumbling off, she laughing and him smiling. "You didn't scream once on that ride, either!" she exclaimed. "Are you sure you enjoyed it?"
"I don't make noise on roller coasters, but trust me, I love them," Souza replied coolly. "Well, okay. I just want to make sure you're having a good time," Rebecca said. "It's not fun if only one of us is enjoying themselves." She was sweet, and ever so thoughtful. She really did want him to have a good time, too... She wasn't just there to take advantage of his looks and wealth for a good date or Instagram bragging rights. Souza appreciated that. "You are wonderful to be around," Souza said, eliciting her sticking her tongue out at him--a common routine whenever he slipped into more formal speech, as was his customary in Soul Society, and ever so hard to shed for human world colloquial.
"You're always fun," Souza said. "But-" Suddenly, his eyes saw past Rebecca, right at another woman. His eyes widened. Though his powers had been suppressed, his ability to sense reiatsu had not, and the instant he'd detected a Quincy's spiritual energies, his gaze turned straight at it. And there she was. Gaunt face held high in pride, tall, poised, and cloaked in black and white, with a symbol on her outfit that Souza recognized all too well. Vandenreich...! But, Souza, maintaining his cool, and recalling his place, looked at Rebecca. "I'll be right back," Souza said. "I just saw someone I know, and I'm going to say hi." With that, Souza strolled right up to the Quincy.
Evaluating by what he knew of the Vandenreich and her current stature, outfit, and decorations, she was a Captain Supervisor. Her rank, therefore, was just below Wilhelm Kohler, the man most despised in the Quincy Army by Souza's father. It went without saying that she was probably a Stern Ritter. Standing right in front of her, and clearly not the least bit intimidated, Souza spoke. "Hello there," Souza greeted. "What's a princess such as yourself doing all alone this fine day? Surely Der Kaiser wouldn't see one so beautiful unaccompanied and alone, would he?" It wasn't flirtatious. It was about intentions. Now she knew that he knew who she was. And she could surmise who he might be. Rebecca waited in the background, patiently.
Post by Shizuka Sanamizu ✮ on Sept 12, 2016 20:50:47 GMT -5
Shizuka was absolutely ecstatic. It had been since March that she'd visited Disney World with her friend, Madeline, so she already had a pink Magic Band from that wonderful visit. Madeline was her roommate in college along with her other friend, Kaylah, but Kaylah couldn't go with the two of them. She was already visiting Universal Studios with her boyfriend, whom Shizuka hated. Still, whatever made Kaylah happy was fine, even if he did suck monkey balls. He was mostly just really inconsiderate. He wasn't particularly mean, but he did take advantage of her kindness most of the time. Shizuka, being the overly protective friend that she is, did not appreciate that. But regardless, they've still been together for an obnoxiously long time, so something had to work.
Anyway, she was in Disney World! Again! This was going to be amazing! She had time to explore and get so much food from Epcot and do all of this stuff, and she'll even get to ride Test Track one more time! Or a few more times. Either way, that was awesome! Test Track was the ride where each person designed their own car and put whatever they want on it, and based on their designs, their cars would be tested for handling, responsiveness, efficiency, and power. It's sponsored by Chevrolet now, which is super great because the entire experience is the most beautiful thing Shizuka has ever seen. Chevrolet isn't even her favorite car company, but they did such a good job on this ride.
The people around the Fullbringer didn't even bother her. Since the weather was nice, she wore her signature halter-top, black denim shorts, and denim jacket outfit with her star symbol on the back of both the top and the jacket. She wore a pair of sandals and kept a bag with her heels since she knew she'd be doing a lot of walking, too. Despite the fact that she's worn these same shoes for years and they really didn't bother her, she went for comfort over anything else when in Disney. She didn't want to have to worry about any potential issues, and as long as she carried her shoes with her, everything was fine! They wouldn't go anywhere.
Honestly, the woman was so distracted by the fun and the experience that she didn't even think once about why she was brought there. It was such a surprise and very sudden, but she jumped at the opportunity and couldn't wait to get started. If her only order was to enjoy herself, she was going to make the most of everything! Besides, most of the lines weren't long since it's the off-season, and she got to ride a few things multiple times in a row. She'd made a few temporary friends along the way and rode a few things with them, too, so she wasn't always alone. She was practically skipping across the entire park because she was so happy about being there!
Shizuka's presence was pretty obvious since she was a bit of a stand-out, but not because of what she was wearing. No, she occasionally had a bit of a tendency to turn some heads as she walked by because of her blonde and bold demeanor. She was a bit of a shy girl, but no one would ever guess that unless they saw her in the middle of a crowd of people. Since all of Disney was a crowd, it was somehow easier to ignore all of the people and just be herself. That, and she had her phone. She needed her phone. The Fullbringer would occasionally smile and wave at a couple of guys who were looking at her, which probably surprised them a bit since she appeared so outgoing, but she was quick to get away from them. She wasn't fond of talking to strangers.
She was acting like a little kid again. Anyone who saw her would just assume she was a younger girl until they realized she was at least in her late teens (she did look a bit younger, after all). She bounced around as if she was on a trampoline and loved every minute she was there. She had a park hopper, too, so she could go anywhere she wanted! Since she chose Epcot first because of the food, today was dedicated to this park. Of the four, this one was the most delicious. Especially in France! She adored the foods there. Italy was, obviously, very good. But something about France made her want even more!
Food aside, Shizuka couldn't sense shit for crap, so she had no idea that anyone else was even around. Little did she know that a jackal, a Quincy, and a disgusting Shinigami were all within the parks around her. It seemed to be that none of them were in Epcot along with her, but she wouldn't know. She only barely knew Ryunosuke and he wasn't around. She would have noticed. So instead of worrying herself over missions or anything like that, ignoring her problems seemed like the best bet! Without any further ado, Shizuka plastered the biggest smile she could muster up on her face and began having some serious fun.
Still, the thoughts came back into her head every now and then. Why did Satsujun ask her to come here? She'd heard about the breach and what might potentially be going on within Xcution, but did that mean Shizuka had to go to Disney World of all places? Shecould have probably taken care of everything on her own somewhere else. The trip, alone, was such a hassle that it didn't even make much sense. Was something even bigger going on here? She really had no idea. But since her only major instruction so far was to just relax, that's exactly what she intended to do! She wasn't going to become distressed over anything quite yet.
[Honeypotting - The art of manipulation to obtain information. Basically, a girl gathers enough information about her target - male or female, doesn't matter - and dresses accordingly or changes how she acts to be able to get them to do whatever she wants or tell her what she needs to hear.] {3}

OOC: Posting order is loose. Feel free to post whenever. Amalia, Zahra, and Souza can freely post between themselves for the time being. Just let me know if/when you want me to add things. Social interactions between the three will be more fun than interruptions anyways, in my opinion.
Disney World is comprised of four separate but connected parks: The Magic Kingdom, the Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. At the moment, Ryunosuke was in Hollywood Studios visiting the only park that had the Star Wars exhibits, Shizuka was in Epcot exploring various world cultures and cuisine, and the rest of the spiritual ambassadors were in the Magic Kingdom where most of the well known attractions were. The Magic Kingdom itself was broken up into many separate themed areas. Amalia, Zahra, and Souza were currently all by the main entrance in Main Street USA. The Kuchiki ambassador from the Soul Society had gotten there early, apparently, having come from Tomorrowland's Space Mountain.
With so many big powers in the park and so few humans, something big was bound to happen sooner or later. Already some of the other visitors were finding out, like Amalia, that their powers had been completely nullified within the borders of the parks. It was forcing a ceasefire and a peace among races who were usually extremely hostile against one another. Tensions were high even in this place of exceeding joy. And there was still the unanswered question floating around... Who had called them here and how? So far, Souza was the only one who had the mission in the forefront of his mind. However, he seemed more interested in bugging Amalia at the present moment while his date stood patiently to the side. The Kuchiki didn't seem at all interested in the Beast Clanswoman, though, who stood out a little more than the Stern Ritter.
Ryunosuke would find himself in Hollywood Studios, a park with less attractions than the Magic Kingdom but with a large amount of space dedicated to all things Star Wars. There were meet and greets with Chewbacca and Kylo Ren, multiple videos of the past and future of the franchise, restaurants with Star Wars themed food, and a few different shows. One of the shows was just finishing as he arrived. He'd see white armored men with large guns marching away double file following a silver armored woman. The Imperial Army was on the march. Meanwhile, he could see a staff member off to the side of the stage pacing back and forth checking his watch obsessively.
Shizuka chose to be in Epcot, the park known for culture and cuisine. And quite a few options for shopping as well. The bubbly teen caught quite a few glances from those around her. A few guys tried to get the courage to talk to her, but she avoided them so effectively due to her shyness that they quickly lost hope and moved on. One man, however, had no fear in getting close to her and addressing her. She would recognize him instantly, as well, so hopefully she didn't run away. Ms. Sanamizu. So nice to see you here. Hopefully you've recovered well? You seem to be doing well." The CEO of Uzaki Enterprises had decided to make the trip to America himself to investigate the mysterious package that he'd received. That he bumped into Shizuka was pure coincidence. But a pleasant one, hopefully.

Amalia shifted her body, her azure-colored eyes now scaling the colorful beast heading in her direction. Her long lashes fluttered as her eyes slowly scaled Zahra's frame. A surprisingly deceptive member of her arsenal, having the potential to conceal her contempt and disgust. Instead, her eyes project as little information as Amalia chooses. For now, they project confidence and intrigue, her outfit wealth and opulence. She couldn't help but find herself intrigued by the presence of such a colorful creature. The fact that she strolled up to Amalia without any reservation indicates one of two things to her: Either she is quite foolish or quite formidable.
Placing her left hand on her hip and leaving her right hand to fall by her side, Amalia greeted the female jackal tepidly. "You okay? Zahra heard snapping of fingers. You need Zahra to do something? You very pretty." Amalia stared quizzically at Zahra, not entirely sure what to do with her brazen approach. "Does this creature want to serve me in some way? Pledge its obedience?" She couldn't decipher Zahra's behavior. It felt authentic, but a part of her could not escape the possibility that it was but a ploy, intended to lower her guard. Amalia was unwilling to fall prey to such devices, but was in desperate need of an ally. This beast won't need to rely as heavily on reiatsu, potentially possessing raw strength and fighting prowess. Her frame certainly implies agility, which could benefit Amalia greatly.
Deciding to play along, Amalia plays her part. She continued to debate with herself whether she should reveal her discovery. In one hand, it is completely reasonable to assume the others have already felt the difference, but if any of them haven't, this could be a strategic advantage. Amalia quickly softened her expression and halted her internal dialogue. She tilted her head and smiled, speaking her honeyed words. "Well, aren't you a truly adorable member of this esteemed group. The beautiful accents in your fur reminds me of the many majestic things I have seen on my travels. It is quite stunning, truly." Amalia widened her gaze, staring directly into Zahra's eyes, and brushing a portion of her bangs to the side. "It seems we've entered this place without the knowledge that once here, we would not have access to our reiatsu. It is quite the conundrum." She said, making sure her tone is warm and welcoming.
"The snapping you heard was me failing miserably in my effort to test the depths of this restraint. It appears I have absolutely no access to my reiatsu-based techniques." Though she smiled, mentioning this aloud summoned a queasy sensation in the pit of her stomach. It was truly awful to be without her powers, creating a massive disconnect. "I suppose if you are willing, you could accompany me around this place. It wouldn't be all that bad, I hope. I make for wonderful company, if I do say so myself." She cheerfully laughed, spotting Souza from her periphery. "Hello there. What's a princess such as yourself doing all alone this fine day? Surely Der Kaiser wouldn't see one so beautiful unaccompanied and alone, would he?"
Amalia observed the proud Shinigami approach her, his presence stirring mixed emotions. She sighed and turned her back to him, gesturing for Zahra to follow her. "I believe you said your name was Zahra? Why not follow me? It'll be our own unique journey. Think of the fun we'll have!" She peered over her shoulder, grinning flirtatiously at Souza. "Beautiful and unaccompanied I may be, but surely you couldn't care less. After all, you have that woman over there to keep you company and share with you her beauty. Look at you, assuming your handsome face and fit physique would somehow woo me senseless. Such a pity, you being who you are. Under other circumstances, surely your company would have inspired a great deal of amusement, among other things. If you find yourself bored, you can always follow the fragrance of my perfume. You'll find it distinctive. Nothing she can afford, so it will be easy to follow." She said, winking at Souza.
Amalia glanced back at the woman he was accompanied by. She delivered a subtle, but wicked smirk. "She couldn't be plainer. How unsatisfying." Amalia felt nothing special from the woman accompanying Souza, which meant she was absolutely no threat. She could be leverage if matters came to that, so him bringing her was fortuitous in that respect. She couldn't help but be mildly thrilled by her new companion. "This colorful creature will prove rather useful if my cursory inspection was accurate. She'll become my loyal hound, protecting me should I be threatened. I can play nice, long enough to nullify the effect this damn park has on my reiatsu. If she ends up killing one of the others, or them her, quite honestly, it is a win-win." Smiling brightly, she looks at Zahra. "Shall we?"

Disney was such a beautiful, distracting place. All of Shizuka's sorrows and woes of things that she'd experienced throughout the last year seemed to fade away into nothingness, just as she had hoped. Her past didn't define who she was in the now, because her past was not today. No, instead, she wore a bright smile across her face that couldn't be removed even if she wanted it to. Her fears melted away right in front of her, and she moved onward as if nothing was wrong. Admittedly, she was running from her feelings just as she always did. The horrible truth was that Shizuka didn't know what to do about how she felt or what it all meant. Loss was a terrible, terrible thing.
Amidst her inner monologue and turmoil, outer feelings of genuine happiness burst through her like a firework. She wanted to push that negativity away so badly that she was desperate enough to completely internalize it, attempting to force it to leave her. It never would, though. Not even Epcot could do that for her. What she needed to do was cope, but she was terrible at that. She hated coping, especially alone. What was she supposed to do, cry to everyone about her problems? They didn't know her. They didn't understand. There was no point to unleashing her emotional fury if there wasn't a single friend around to listen. But, at the same time, it was her own fault for not letting anyone in.
With one more glance around the beautiful place, Shizuka pushed her negative thoughts aside and honestly tried to continue enjoying her time here. Everything truly was magical, even if she did actually know how they were able to make everything work the way it did. It didn't matter to her, though, because she loved every second. The blonde was about to turn around and make her way towards Italy when she heard a familiar voice call her name. Her eyes widened and her smile mirrored the movement. As she turned around, she saw a handsome face that delighted her to her very core.
"Kazura!" Shizuka proclaimed as she threw her arms around his neck in a tight, friendly hug. "Oh my gosh, I missed you! I'm doing super awesome, thanks! And, please, just 'Shizuka' is fine. You don't have to be formal with a friend!"
She was happy and giggling while she kept herself close to him, though not in a flirty way. She was just genuinely glad to see him! He was able to make her fears disappear for even just a moment, which made the Fullbringer incredibly thankful. She asked him how he was doing, not letting go of him for even a second. It had been a while since they saw each other last, and his appearance suddenly made her wonder about how everyone else was doing. She hadn't seem them in a while, either. It was strange, but she was just glad Kazura was here! Although, if the CEO of Uzaki Enterprises was in Disney, Shizuka assumed the weird mission she was given was more serious than she thought.

Shizuka threw herself at Kazura, embracing him and acting completely different than his formal introduction. The man seemed to soften and his lips curled upwards in a smile. "But of course, Shizuka. It is good to see a friendly face after all. It's quite busy here despite the time of year, and I'm still no closer to understanding much more than I did. What brings you here alone?" The fullbringer began to walk with the Xcution Rifle as they talked, pointing out some particularly nice looking shops and restaurants as they moved through Epcot.

Souza had barely noticed the creature that was in front of the Vandenreich Quincy, assuming it to be some low level servant. But, judging by the way this Quincy spoke to it, it had simply been curious, and now this Quincy had full advantage of seducing its loyalty and taking advantage of it. That poor creature would become a slave in due time, as all did when the Vandenreich got involved, and it would die when its usefulness was outlived. After all, he knew the creed. Only purity could survive in the world of Der Kaiser and Wilhelm Kohler. Purity meant a pure race. Those who were bestial were impurities, and in time they would face genocide at the hands of the Holy Invisible Empire.
Souza also noticed the woman's eyes gazed past him for a moment at Rebecca. He could practically see the gears in her head turning, hear them even as his energy sensory allowed him to establish the emotions she felt and their intentions rather quickly. He could literally see her thinking about how to use his date as leverage against him should the need to fight arise. The Quincy woman had already surmised what Souza had learned upon entering earlier. Reiatsu based powers were useless here, which gave some people who were skilled in other disciplines an advantage. Take a hostage, however, and the tables quickly turned. Realizing that if he wanted to continue to pursue, he would need to secure Rebecca's safety, Souza decided there was no need just yet.
"Hahaha! You're right. Guilty as charged." Souza said with a haughty smile and a genuine, well practiced and warm chuckle. "I thought I could woo you senseless, but I guess not after all." He gestured toward the park around them with one arm, taking a step toward her as he did. In doing so, he would note the scent of her perfume immediately, and he even recognized the brand and approximate price. That was something you learned as a pretty boy and Heir to the Kuchiki Family, whose wealth went back over thirty thousand years. In turn, Souza, because of that wealth and prestige, wore a cologne whose subtle scent would be propagated by the gesturing of his arm when he stepped toward the Captain Supervisor before him. She would also be able to smell it, and detect the gaudy lifestyle of the Kuchiki Heir.
His cologne beat hers in price and high regard, as it would for anyone else's save his father or one of his siblings. The unimaginable luxury of nobility allowed him only what was considered the absolute finest. Even being used to wealth, Amalia couldn't even begin to comprehend the sheer influence and decadence of a family that had been wealthy since the beginning of Soul Society itself. Every detail, every small facet of Souza's exterior was molded by being the culmination of all of that thousands of years of grooming. It might not seduce her, after all what cologne could do that by itself, but it would catch her attention, especially if she was able to recognize brands by smell alone as well.
Actually--funny story. She might recognize the brand, but not the exact model. It was a limited edition, with only a hundred bottles existing. Getting it was almost impossible, requiring not only wealth, but influence that could be achieved only through generations of power.
"But you're right. I couldn't care less. It's obvious that you can take care of yourself. I just wanted to see you up close, because you are very beautiful, and I wanted to confirm that it looks like your reiatsu has been nullified in this area." Souza didn't say that he could use his, but by only talking about hers, he bluffed a little bit. Amalia might now think about whether or not he was bluffing, and might consider whether or not Souza could actually use his powers here. Of course he couldn't, but she didn't know that. And Souza, having overheard her as he approached, knew that she couldn't. How frustrating that she might just now have given away valuable information about a weakness to an enemy.
"Well," Souza said, putting an arm on his hip as Amalia winked and started walking away, informing him that he could follow her distinct perfume if he wanted. "I might take you up on that offer later. Likewise, if you need a friend, give me a call." Souza reached into his pocket and pulled out a fine gold coin, flicking it toward Amalia to catch. With her reflexes and speed, not to mention her instinctive training, it would be easy to whirl around for a split second to catch it after hearing the sound, and catch Souza's smile as he turned away from her. The coin itself had the Kuchiki insignia on it, and while it would go a long way in paying for things in Soul Society, it was useless in the human world. Souza was teasing her by giving her the coin.
As he left back toward his date, Souza spoke again with a cocky smile. "Careful, though not to fall in love with me too quickly. After all, I can afford that perfume, and perhaps more." With that, he returned to Rebecca's side, taking great care to keep himself aware of his surroundings. It appeared that like him, Amalia wasn't the perpetrator here. She was just another that had been brought by whoever's machinations. Still, Souza realized that this place was too dangerous now if a Captain Supervisor was here. Who knew what other kinds of dangerous people might be here. Still, he could protect Rebecca, at least for now.
"What kind of dog was that?" she asked, referring to the beast clan member. Souza didn't answer her question, instead adopting a face that appeared painfully honest. He sighed. "Rebecca, I must be honest with you," he said, seizing an opportunity to maintain his cover and still tidy up his social life. "That woman is my recent ex girlfriend, and I'm not quite over that. You've been wonderful, but seeing her like this... I'm not sure I can be fair to you. I'm not sure we can keep seeing each other." Rebecca's eyes widened, and began to tear up a little. Souza's own eyes appeared troubled. They were troubled, but not because of this, rather because he had to lie. "I'm sorry..." he said. And Rebecca slapped him. Then and there.
"What, so you just led me on?!" she demanded of him. "No, but I-" he tried to explain, but Rebecca slapped him again. "I need to use the restroom. Just take me home afterward," Rebecca said. They walked to the nearest restroom, and she disappeared inside of it. While waiting for her, Souza exhaled. He sat down on a bench near the restrooms, as if he was waiting for someone, and crossed his legs as he rested an arm on the top of the bench. He pulled out a cell phone, using the only number in its contact list to establish communications with Soul Society as he sat. "Souza Kuchiki," he said. "Squad 13 Lieutenant, reporting in. There's a Vandenreich woman here, at least Captain Supervisor rank. However, her reiatsu appears to be disabled in this park. No reinforcements are needed. I'll report back after further investigation."
For just one moment that day, Souza sat alone in that park.
"I am always victorious. Therefore I am always correct."
Zahra stood staring at this woman. She sniffed the air around her and smelled something funny, making an obvious face. What in the heck was that?! Was she trying to mask her scent with this horrible smell?! If she was then she succeeded in leaps and bounds. Zahra put her hand over her nose, looking at the woman and breathing more through her mouth to get rid of that horrible smell.
The woman then started to talk about Zahra, saying how pretty her fur was. Zahra smiled, seeming pleased. She had always thought that her fur was nice, but it was finally nice to have an actual human tell her so. She had only heard it from other Beast Clan, so she had never taken too much notice about the compliments before. But now, she looked at herself and she had to agree. The teal set off the black rather well.
When the woman started to talk about reiatsu, Zahra's eyes got wide. So this woman knew about that stuff? Does that mean that she is like the shinigami? But she was DEFINITELY not dressed like them. It confused Zahra slightly. She had heard that there were normal humans that could see spiritual beings so maybe she was like one of them. When she said that she tried snapping to get her powers to work, a little light bulb lit up for Zahra.
She then took her right hand, pointed it up, with her left still over her nose, and snapped her fingers as loud as she could three times. She then moved her hand down and looked at her fingers. "Zahra can't either. Weird." The truth is, she had never really used her 'power.' She knew that Beast Clan had a level of power but she had honestly never used it because her base strength had always been enough.
She couldn't even know how to really activate it. So, for her doing this, it was also a little test to see if she could even try to release her strength. Obviously snapping her fingers wasn't the way for her power to get released. When the woman offered her company, Zahra's eyes lit up. She always liked to travel alone, but this was a new area and things were confusing, like those Beast Clan that didn't smell like Beast Clan.
From that alone, she wagered that traveling in a group might work out a little bit better. It was then that a man walked over. She looked at him and immediately recognized the man. He was one of the shinigami she followed to get to the 'Human World.' Right there, she at least knew one person. Well, not knew him per say, but knew of his kind and had a little inkling of what he would do.
After he spoke, she looked to him. "What's a Der Kaiser?" Then the woman told her that she should follow because they would have fun. Zahra's tail flicked, but now she had someone else. The woman seemed interesting, to be sure, but that horrid smell was slightly off putting now. The man, however, was shinigami. She knew how to deal with some of his kind.
So, she stood there with two choices. The woman asked her shall we. She looked towards the woman. She started to walk off and Zahra started to think about her perfume. While trying to think on things, Souza talked his whole speech and flicked a coin. (The next part I'm writing with an assumption that Amalia would be able to grab it before Zahra can. If this is not kosher, let me know). Zahra was staring into space and at first didn't notice the coin. It wasn't until it was almost out of Zahra's sight that she saw it and yelled inside her head 'OH SHINY!'
While it was in motion, she would try to reach out and grab it, but she just didn't notice it fast enough before the Quincy got ahold of it. Zahra whined a little that she couldn't get the shiny, then smelled the woman's perfume again and put a hand back to her nose. She stood there, while they both walked off, trying to figure out what to do. She hated the woman's perfume, but she had a shiny.
The man was her way to get back to her den. Looking between the two, knowing that she would be able to get back to her den outweighed the shiny of one coin and the horribleness of the woman's perfume. She decided against the woman and by the time she had decided and walked back towards Souza, he was sitting down and talking into a phone. She heard Squad 13 and knew immediately she was right. She walked towards the man and sat several feet away from him, watching him in curiosity. She then starts to talk to him louder. "WHAT'S A DER KAISER!?"

Amalia ventured forward, though she still had not received a confirmation from Zahra. With her back facing Souza and Zahra, she reflexively places her hand behind her head and flicked the incoming coin with her finger. This caused the coin to reverse its trajectory, flying narrowly past Souza's face and landing in front of his guest, Rebecca. She glared over her shoulder, watching as Zahra walked toward Souza. "Vile beast! How dare it reject my offer, especially under these circumstances." To Amalia, this was an unforgivable insult. Under different circumstances, she wouldn't hesitate to execute such blatant impertinence. This was something she took seriously, and, as a consequence, seldom forgot.
She turned and kept walking, fuming internally. She couldn't fathom why such a creature would turn down her generous offer. It was humiliating. And if there was something Amalia loathed, it was being humiliated, especially by something so grossly inferior. She knew it was only a matter of time until her powers returned to her, and that would be the defining moment of this experience. She strutted down the path, passing others and delivering a condescending gaze at the others. "What a pity that mutt didn't take my up on my offer." She sighed and inhaled deeply. "Once my powers are returned to me,I'll be sure to reintroduce myself to the colorful hound, but not before I put dozens of holes in her chest. I'll watch her bleed to death on the ground. It is then that i'll introduce myself fully." She revealed a sinister grin as she came up to a castle.
Choosing to venture inside, she was pleasantly surprised. There was a semblance of luxury to this place. It was clear from the setting that those who come here intend to eat. She watched as a waiter hurried in front of her and pulled out a seat at a nearby table, gesturing for her to sit. "Oh? So, you bring me her to seat me and serve me food?" She said humorously, sitting down at the table. "A menu? Or are you intending to recite to me the entire menu by memory?" The man said nothing, instead handing her a menu with many pages. It was like a book, with so many items to choose from. She couldn't help but acknowledge her hunger. "Well, I suppose I could use a rather strong cocktail." The man shook his head silently before snapping his finger. A tray was brought to her with an assortment of coffees and teas, each in a colored kettle. "Seriously?" She said incredulously. "I'm not allowed an alcoholic beverage?" She scoffed and placed her napkin over her lap. Gesturing to the man, indcating she wanted the sweet orange tea.
Another waiter poured the hot brew in a cup, placed it on a saucer, and set it in front of her. "Bring me swordfish, and be sure it is well-seasoned. I'd also like a side Bouillabaisse soup and some soft-shell crab. Do be sure to steam it! Do not boil it, it ruins the meat." She demanded. A wait staff and well-prepared meals was not unfamiliar to Amalia. The dutiful wait staff and the selection of food felt nostalgic. It reminded her greatly of living in her family's castle estate. There were always servants prepared to tend to your every need. To Amalia, this was no different. They were here to serve, nothing more. She sat quietly, sipping her tea and staring out the window. Her leg bobbed while crossed atop the other. For a moment, she was care free and unencumbered by the threat of this whole situation. Reality quickly set in once again, however.
"That wretched Souza Kuchiki..." She thought to herself. "It doesn't surprise me that he is here. Lecherous fool." She continued to sip her tea as her food was brought and placed in front of her. She inspected the silver and the dishes. She allowed the scent of the Bouillabaisse to flood her senses. It smelled marvelous, but a part of her was concerned that it could be poisoned. Such thoughts never left her mind for long. Some would say she is paranoid, but when you are in the position she is in, it is only reasonable to assume such things. She slowly tasted her soup. Everything about Amalia was noticeably refined. Her breeding was impeccable and such a lifestyle offered her superior education and refinement, which was on full display. "I wonder how long it will be until that man seeks me out. Unless he plans to stand alongside that boring woman. I'm much better company!" She smiled at her own compliment and continued to dine.

"But of course, Shizuka. It is good to see a friendly face after all. It's quite busy here despite the time of year, and I'm still no closer to understanding much more than I did. What brings you here alone?"
Shizuka smiled. This kind of company didn't happen often, and she genuinely enjoyed it. Seeing Kazura here was such a surprise, but definitely a welcome one. He was happy to see her, too, which made everything that much better. Though, it did make her wonder why she was actually in Disney World. She was grateful that Satsujun trusted her enough to go on this mission, but what was the mission, anyway? The knowledge she had was limited, so she knew that coming here meant she would have to look into everything even more. Until then, however, she was told to just have fun. So, that was all well and good, but why was Kazura there?
"Actually, Satsujun told me to come here. It's some weird mission thing, but I don't honestly know what's going on. It's kind of an 'insider' job, if that makes sense." She spoke with hand quotations when she said 'insider.'
The truth was that she honestly had no idea what she was there for aside from the fact that something was happening within Byrpesia. She was a bit confused about that, as well, because Byrpesia could only be accessed by members of Xcution. That meant it had to be someone from within the organization doing something they shouldn't, and that typically meant Shizuka had to dispose of them. She'd been down this road plenty of times. Someone would do something to cause Xcution some kind of harm in some way, and Satsujun would give her a time and a place. Whoever showed up at that exact point was the person she needed to take care of. This was only a small portion of her job, but Xcution took their business extremely seriously.
Her bubbly voice was loud, even amongst the crowds. Kazura would have no problem hearing her, but she didn't care if anyone else did, either. If they were a threat for some random reason, she was tough enough to take care of them. But the Fullbringer also knew that there wasn't much of a worry since she heavily doubted the target was here. Even with that, though, what would have been the purpose of going to Disney? It kind of didn't make much sense the more she thought about it. Despite appreciating the chance to go here, she also wondered if it somehow connected to the string of problems happening within her organization.
"What about you? It's not often that I see you away from your company unless we get dragged into something together. Or, maybe you get out more than I thought you did!"
That part was the truth. She never sees Satsujun outside of Xcution, but she knew he didn't live around the company. That would be kind of silly, even for the CEO. It was just by chance that she never saw him elsewhere. She was a little scatterbrained as it was, so maybe she just didn't notice when he left, or if he ever did. Shizuka pushed the thoughts out of her head for now, though. They weren't really the most important things to think about, but her mind was just a continuous train of thought. It was part of what made her such a skilled investigator and assassin, because she always thought out of the box.
"Or, oh!" Shizuka started, turning herself towards Kazura. "Oh, oh, oh! You're on vacation!"
