The remnants of a fire stands before the Shinigami known as Tsukuyomi. The ceiling of a wooden building long since destroyed by a forgotten fire, brings in the faint rays of light to his pale cheeks. Sitting next to him against the splintered support beam lies a corpse of newly decaying flesh. The smell is fresh, lingering death fills the air and very soon the nostrils of the waking Shinigami. Though shattered, splintering and destroyed the room lies empty and seemingly safe for the time being. A strange fog lingers lightly through the decrepit small building covering the ground itself like white smoke consuming the very room in its ghostly shade.
Outside lies other scattered buildings and a faint flame lingering at a bonfire where Garret the wanderer will awaken against a tree. A cool breeze will slide against the dead grass carrying little dirt to destroy what remained of a faint flame. Leaving only the lingering ashes to the one eyed brute upon his waking. All around the rogue will be nothing. Cornered by a fog and the decaying wooden corpses of shelters no longer fit for the living. Nearby a humming will be heard. Gentle but full of oppressed sorrow and confusion.
Though faint it will carry itself to a pit full of excrement and other such waste. Molded by years of use, Vannan will awaken to the filth around him. The walls disgustingly covered with the mess, make for a messy escape. A place one would not wish themselves but nonetheless it is where this Quincy will wake. The fog creeping above will shelter the man from the sky. Though small a cave will show another way for the Quincy if he dares to creep through its disgusting depths. Once outside he to will see the burned buildings of a strange and foreign place. The humming will come from a small church just beyond the three. A place once held sacred to those who thrived here.

Body spread out across the dead wood of the floor that many moons ago had shined proudly with light was the Fourth seat of division seven, Tsukuyomi Kawada. How he had gotten to this decrepit shake was unknown and now as the young Shinigami regained consciousness his cold eyes looked throughout the room. He was in unfamiliar territory. The situation was unknown as were his whereabouts. The last thing he knew or had done consciously had been laying down in his bed only for slumber to take him away.
Now though reality had reclaimed his soul and this was where he had awoken. He had been spread out across the floor with his front downwards. Moving his hands downwards in front of him Tsukuyomi pushes himself up to his backside as something familiar and yet nearly forgotten was realized. There was a scent one that he knew all to well. One that had at one point in his life been his most notorious companion. The scent of the deceased wasn't something easily forgotten and right now it was filling his nostrils.
He was still clothed in his uniform attire including his zanpakuto. It had been in front of him where he had been slumbering yet now was in his grasp once more. Tsukuyomi had looked around and seen that this building was made of old wood that had to been centuries old. At any moment the structural integrity of the building could fail. Sitting there for a few moments though he took the time an analyze what was around him. His eyes closed he sat there listening to the world around him.
Even after being blessed with sight from his dark heritage the young Shinigami hadn't lost any sharpness to his other senses. He couldn't hear anything, but the faint flittering of the dying flame beside where he had been in deep slumber. He was alone at least for the moment. Standing up Tsukuyomi moves his zanpakuto behind his back and places his arm on the outer sleeve of his uniform. "Farewell old flame." Tsukuyomi spoke softly down at the dwindling fire as it finally passed away.
Making his way out of the building that he had been in only took a few moments. Now stepping down from the building Tsukuyomi looks out over the surroundings. A strange fog blocked his vision so yet again it seemed that his previous experience of blindness was actually more of an advantage than just a piece of the past. Listening once more Tsukuyomi could pick up the sound of humming. It wasn't pleasant though not one of a child nor of something that enjoyed life. This was something that had been through to much and hadn't been allowed to rest.
Everything around him was like a bad memory. Having grown up in one of the lowest districts of Rukongai had been difficult for him. In all fairness it was difficult for all of the unfortunate spirits that had to refer to such a place as home. Having been born blind and with a sickly mother only made things worse. It was why he had picked up the scent of death and decay so easily. Once those districts got ahold of you there were certain things that you couldn't wash away.
The humming had to be coming from something though. Whatever it was more than likely had some information as to where he was or possibly could be the reason he was here. Either way standing around and inhaling the deceased wasn't going to get him back to the barracks. Moving throughout the area only using his sight to evade obstacles and his ears to guide him Tsukuyomi navigated throughout the fog. It wouldn't be long until he arrived at the front of the burned church.
He had only been able to find it by following the source of the humming. He though he been trained not to advance into a situation such as this blindly for doing so was potentially dangerous. He didn't know where he was and had no way of sending a signal to his Captain. So for the moment he had to survive and find his way back himself. So jumping up to the side of the church Tsukuyomi did his best to conceal his sound. Now he was on the roof and doing his best to find a hole in order to look down to get a sight of what was inside without being found out himself.
A pungent odor hanged in the air, that odor was the thing to awaken him. As he opened his eyes he was greeted to a soft light coming down piercing a heavy gray fog that seemed to hang a few feet up above. Moving his hand to try to push himself off of the floor he felt it. The sensation of something soft and squishy, as he tried to stand up his hand sunk a bit into whatever he had been laying in and it made a soft squishing sound as it oozed around his hand. Not fully awake he wondered what he was feeling and where he was.
The smell continued to assault his nose as he managed to get on his feet. As he took a step forward he again heard the sound of something squishing under his feet. Before him there was a ladder that seemed to go into the gray fog, yet to the left was a dark void that seemed to lead deeper into whatever this place was. With very little light he couldn't make out where he was or what he had been in, then as he started to put two and two together he understood what was on the walls, on the ground and more important on his clothing.
Disgusting, he had awaken in a pit of excrement and waste, looking over near the ladder he saw a bone sticking out of a large pile of what he could only describe as organic matter. At least it seemed that there was more than just fecal waste thrown down here, he didn't know if that was suppose to make him feel better or worse though. He shook his hand trying to remove some of the waste that clung to his hand. As he did he noticed that his quincy cross was still on his wrist. Calmly he took in reiatsu as he tried to use what little light was available to get some clue as to where he was.
It took him a few moments but he started to understand what was going on, bit by bit the subtle clues started to fill him in on where he was, the air was heavy with spirtual particles, but not that of Hueco Mundo no this was more like the soul society however something was off. What was most important though was that he stood in a pit of excrement in his full Vandenreich uniform along with his items in tow. Which meant that he wasn't kidnapped, no more like he was taken out of place and maybe time. If he had been kidnapped then they wouldn't of left his items on hand, not when he could use them to escape.
For now to get more answers he had to continue on one way or another. Above him there was a heavy fog blocking most of the light and before him what seemed to be a cave leading somewhere. It seemed that heading to the surface would be a better choice, however something in his gut told him that was too easy, so his choice was clear, he would venture deep into the cave to figure out where he was. However he didn't want to do it covered in this filth, using movement he quickly took one step forward flinging any fecal matter on his clothing off of him leaving him relatively clean.

Item Name: Super Stealth Cloak Item Type: Clothing Item Description:
Item Rank: A Item Description: This is a cloak created by the infamous Mr. Hat & Clogs and upgraded by the famous Kazura Uzaki designed to enhance the natural stealth capabilities of those with Reiatsu. It was inspired by the Lothlorien Cloaks from Lord of the Rings. Basically, it creates a field of Reiatsu around the user, masking them from site by blending them into the background, while simultaneously masking their spiritual pressure further. With added Reiatsu storage, channeling, and nullifying abilities, it goes beyond the abilities of the original cloak. With 1 point in Stealth, someone would need 200 in Senses or Energy Sensory to detect their presence. Each point in Stealth beyond the first adds 50 to the requirements.
It can only be used for 10 posts total in a thread, before becoming a normal cloak for the duration of the thread. To use, the user must give up 100 reaitsu for each post, and draw the cloak around them. Techniques up to Class 5 can be used while the cloak is being used, but Releases and techniques of Class 4 or higher cannot escape detection. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of the network of reiatsu storage and transfer, taking a direct physical blow to the cloak causes it to cease functioning at peak nature. The user will be able to be sensed with a flat 200 Senses or Energy Sensory, regardless of level of Stealth and their techniques. Obviously, something that exits the cloak such as a Quincy's arrow will no longer be hidden. Price: 100,000 Ryo Donatedtoshop?(Yes or No?): No

It was the gentle breeze that drifted across that skin that finally caused the swordsman to open his eye back up. When did he fall asleep? He wondered the answer as things slowly became clear again to his blurred vision. The remnants of the bonfire that lay before him was put out by whatever force compelled it, the ash that remained drifting past the swordsman who slowly began to get to his feet. Where was he? Garret narrowed his eye as he began to look to the left and to the right, inspecting his environment as a picture began to paint itself for him.
Once again the question had to be asked; where was he? The last thing Garret remembered was the fortress of ice being constructed around him, as both he and his travelling companion Kimiko had begun to prepare for the battle that would come with the setting sun. It had been the same as every night since the two had begun travelling together. A fortress would be made, and soon after the fight would begin. Reaching back as far as he could, all Garret could remember was speaking to his companion followed by erecting the barrier to keep them safe.
But now? Where even was he? What Garret saw was an environment that he did not recognize. Around him were the relics of buildings that could no longer accommodate the living, ruins of either a time long past or the remains of some fierce battle. In all honesty, what Garret saw was familiar to him but was nothing more than fleeting nostalgia. If the Rogue had been cast in silence, then perhaps he would have begun to feel uncomfortable, but alas he was not. There was a sound, something coming from deeper in the ruins.
His cloak was pushed lightly in the breeze, the swordsman's footsteps his only companions as he began to head in the direction of the humming he heard. Beneath the cloak he wore the tip of his greatswords grip poked out, the only visible sign of the weapon that he carried. There didn't seem to be anywhere else to go, and there was a chance that the humming could mean someone was around who could answer Garret's questions about where he was. So he decided to just head in that direction and see what he would come face to face with.

The air fell gently against the Shinigami as he found himself atop the rooftop of the church. The echo of the humming remained on its sorrowful way. Upon further inspection Tsukiyomi would find a broken window easily allowing the boy to get through to the ground floor below. upon entry a thick fog would cover the entryway shrouding the other windows of that church like an ashen blanket. It would block all of the exits for the boy and yet why would he think to leave just yet?
The Wanderer too would soon find himself before that church. Once marked with splendor and esteem now an old dead place of prayer. Two large doors would tower before the brute and the humming would echo gently throughout the halls. Through the many cracks scattering the church. Upon entry the Rogue would find himself seemingly locked behind a thick ashen fog and a barren hallway would mark his path. Many chairs broken and splintered littered the floor. What seemed like a woman shrouded in black humming that depressing tune kneeled before a dated statue in what looked to be a prayer. How the two would proceed was up to them.
The Quincy upon entry to that cave would find himself facing a small stream, gently faltering down further into the cave. The excess filth floated and diminished as it scattered throughout the cave system. Dead torches would mark the Quincy’s way out. Long forgotten, this place was empty or seemed so. Barking would echo throughout that damp place and the sound of a jingling bell would follow. In an instant a darkly coated tom cat would jolt up the mans legs digging into him in a frantic attempt of escape the coming mutt. In a mad sprint the illy looking dog would take the corner. Eyes nearly bloodshot the beast snarled, its speed though was easily stunted by its one broken hind leg as it went to bite the man now carrying its meal.

Moving from the roof of the church downwards towards the first broken window that he saw Tsukuyomi made his way as quietly as he could inside of the church. As he passed into the church throughout the window he looked around and saw that everything within the church was virtually ruined. It looked as if it had been abandoned hundreds of years ago. The humming was louder inside this church which meant that the source was definitely in here.
Moving around slowly to keep himself from making much noise Tsukuyomi crouched down and made his way to the edge of the floor he was on. He looked around though and could see that all of the exits now seemed to be covered. He didn't really know what it was that covered them though. It looked like some form of ash. "Damn this isn't good. Looks like I've walked right into a trap." He thought as he looked down from behind one of the few standing beams that could cover his body. He was going to speak to the woman when he saw a massive individual and decided it'd be best to observe for the moment.
His footsteps came to a stop, his entrance now blocked by a wall of fog that had appeared once he had stepped through the threshold. Garret turned to look at it, his eye narrowing as he realized what it was. While it merely looked like fog, he had every reason to believe that it was actually a barrier. But why? He had followed the humming through the ruined village, following the only sound that could be heard. He had ventured into a place of worship, ruined by both time and whatever had done all this damage to the world. Garret really wasn't one for worship of the unseen, having had his beliefs in the afterlife shattered by the realities of the world and Cycle of Souls.
His eye rested upon the figure of a woman adorned in black, kneeling at a statue that showed its age. First sign of life? Perhaps. Or perhaps it was an enemy. Garret kept his guard raised, his footsteps beginning again as he began to head deeper into the cathedral. "Where is this?" Garret asked, stopping a good twenty feet from the kneeling woman. He was referring to where they were as a whole, not really where they were right now. But, regardless, Garret wasn't the best when it came to asking questions or being a talker.
The foul odor that filled the pit seemed to linger slightly and dissipate the further he ventured into the cave. Along with that it seemed as if the water that was trickling into the pit seemed to clear as it had less and less fecal matter in it. He still had no idea where he was, but at the very least there would soon be a source of clean water to wash off his clothing. For now it seemed that venturing into the cave was the right choice, he didn't know what awaited him on the surface, but the lack of life so far in this cave meant that it should be safer than up above.
However his ideas about that were quickly changed as he heard it first, the sounds of something running down the cave towards him. Quickly he pulled out one of the guns he carried and filled it with spiritual bullets. As it got closer he saw what was heading his way. A scared cat, before he could react the cat dug it's claws into his leg. Then the barking came, and before him he could see it, a dog, rabid and hurt as it limped towards him at a rather fast rate. It seemed that this cat had been running from the dog and now the dog saw him as a meal.
Vannan wasn't worried at all, his gun was filled with bullets and the speed of the dog wasn't that fast that he couldn't react to it. Aiming right at the head of the dog he pulled the trigger firing off one bullet to hit the beast in the forehead. Followed by unloading the rest of the bullets into the animal's body blowing off bits and parts of it. He wasn't taking any sort of chances, if his past adventures had taught him anything, it was that you should make sure whatever you attack is really dead before moving on. Drawing in some reiatsu once more to recover a bit that he had lost for arming his gun he looked at the cat that still clung to his leg. Wondering if it would let go and run off like the wild animal it was.

"Where is this?"
The sorrowful humming would stop as the Rogue spoke up. Sullen darkly blues would sway in the direction of the wanderer, soon lighting up like light upon water. The sadness within them seemingly washing away within an instant as if hope stood brilliantly before her. A single tear would draw its way down her very cheek as she stood up staring at the stranger before her seemingly bewitched. She would stare keenly as if checking if the man before her was but an illusion. But no she felt his strong presence and she knew he was real.
Brushing back her black hairs a small smile would perk before the man. Letting her joy drip she would rush towards the the rogue in a child like skip. Her hands swaying she would stop herself as she stood before the brute before her. One hand would gently place itself on the mans chest. Unwarily thinking of the consequences she would drip from her now trembling lips. “You too have a heartbeat.” She nearly couldn’t contain herself as she spoke though she would immediately remove herself from the man.
A faint rosary buried itself against her cheeks as she performed a curtsey. “The summons has brought me forth a champion. Truly a great kindness.” The girl would smile once more looking to the wanderer with endearment wiping away but a single tear. “You have come to cleanse this unnamed land to free us trapped here.” She would wander around the man inspecting every inch of him. “Though I was not expecting just one of you. Are there perhaps more?” She would ask curiously moving her head to the side.
“Yet you will do finely. Indeed you carry yourself strongly dear champion.” She would return in front of the wanderer at that, that ever present smile perking gently against those rosary cheeks of hers. “Dear champion, please free us from these lands so that we may know peace. I am Rika last of my people. I have summoned you from what knowledge I have learned of the spells the first have left us.” She would press but a finger to her lips as if pondering something.
“Kido I think it was called. Oh yes such mischievous magic put away in those dirty old books. To think those old exiled spells would come in handy. ” She would giggle half heartily at that before peering into that one gray iris noticing she had went off on a tangent. “This is a haven dear champion. known to us as the church of Felidae. Though the worship of the Golden Eyed One is no longer present. The ashen fog still protects it from the strays that still linger the streets.” She would glance warily around her. “Are you sure there is no one else dear champion?”
The mess wrought forth by the Quincy would cover the damp walls in the blood and guts of the dog. Fearfully the cat would remove its claws from the man settling itself on its haunches. Peering up at the pale man, the cat would not mew. “Such a disgusting mongrel. Did you not see the look in its eyes? Truly bloodthirsty beasts.” The black tom cat would begin grooming its now bloodied furs. “And of course its insides spill on Patches. What luck can a black cat have? Patches must be cursed or just have extremely bad luck.”
The feline would laugh at that. “Yet Patches must have some luck to have run into a sane two legged one in the exiled morgel’s caves. Patches must thank you two legged one. Though next time please don’t leave such an unsightly mess upon Patches furs. Patches is proud of Patches darkly furs and appearances must be kept even in this filth invested cave. Rotted and littered by trash as it is.” The cat would begin grooming itself once more. “Disgusting and vile, will this taste ever leave Patches tongue?”
Ears twitching faintly the feline would return its gaze to the Quincy. “Two legged you have saved Patches life. A most humble and brave of feats, to best the mongrel in its very tracks. Does the two legged have a name or is he stricken with the curse of silence perhaps?” The cat would peer closer at the Quincy before changing its attention to the pattering of footsteps. “Lay rain upon them, two legged one!” The cat would hide behind the Quincy at that. The sounds of barking would soon fill the cave in its echo. Fours dogs fell around the corner one after the other. Their furs and skin stricken by the look of decay. The dogs hobbled forward as they charged forth seeking out the flesh of the man before them. (OOC Dogs stats are the same as the first)
While some of the blood and guts of the crazed dog did hit his clothing he wasn't too worried about it, that was till the seemingly normal cat that clung to his leg started to speak. His first thought was that this cat was actually a mod soul and if that was the case then he assumed he was in some place in the human world, however the feeling of reiatsu all around him told him that that wasn't the case at all. He had to be in a spiritual world and while the reiatsu wasn't as tainted as that of Hueco Mundo it still had a lingering taint to it that kept him from thinking that this place was the soul society. So where was he? It seemed that this Cheshire cat knock off could speak and understand so he was going to get answers out of it.
The cat had an odd way of speaking to him, calling him two legged one.....Annoying for a moment he was glad that most animals couldn't speak or better yet they couldn't understand the sounds they made as words if all animals were as chatty as this cat. Still knowing that there were more dogs heading this way going after him was something he was grateful, not that he wouldn't of seen them in a few moments. As they came into view he saw it, four of them. Without saying a word he pulled out the other hand gun he had on his belt and filled both of them up with EG bullets. Twelve rounds, four dogs it meant three bullets for each dog, but really he would only need one for each.
Pulling the trigger he fired off the first round hitting the two front most dogs right in their temples. They quickly fell to the ground sliding a bit as their momentum carried their bodies a bit further. The other two which weren't discouraged by seeing their kind shot down like the animals that they were continued forward for a few more feet before they met with the same end a bullet to the temple of both of their heads. Each time he heard a slight yelp and whimper from the dogs as they passed from living to death. With the apparent end of all foes in sight he turned back to face the cat who called himself patches. “So Cheshire rip off wanna tell me where I am and how the hell I get out of here?”
As he waited to hear what the cat would say to him he drew in reiatsu once more. While he wasn't lacking in that there was never such as a thing as being too prepared. Vannan's uniform was now coated in blood and filth from this place. He wasn't happy in the least bit about this. “Also while your at it tell me where the hell I can find some clean water to get this filth off of me.” His voice wasn't asking no he was demanding, this wasn't the time or place for pleasantries.

Tsukuyomi continued to hide in the shadows of the church on the second floor while the woman who it seemed was a priestess of this church spoke with the other individual that had entered. The way that she spoke was one of a time long since passed and Tsukuyomi somehow could tell that she had been here far longer than anyone should remain in a single place. He didn't really believe in the possibility of Gods even after learning of his demonic heritage. What he saw blocking him in from the outside though matched up with what she was telling the giant.
Tsukuyomi didn't have any sort of skill when it came to sensing the reiatsu of other individuals. It was a skill that the Captain continued to hound him about developing. He knew that it was something he would probably be better off with yet refining his swordsmanship always seemed to take the majority of his time. All he was doing was staying in place while the woman of black spoke to the giant listening to everything that she was telling him so that he could use it for his own assessment and knowledge.
That was when she asked if he was sure that he was the only one and Tsukuyomi froze making sure that not a single part of his body was in motion. At the moment he didn't know if it would be wise to reveal himself or not. So while he wasn't the best at stealth anymore he would do his best to keep to the shadows and make sure that no one would find him as he suppressed his reiatsu and continued to listen from above.
