It had taken quite a bit of research, but Kazura had finally gotten the details of his Lacrima Production all worked out. In Hueco Mundo, in his isolated Batcave, he had set up his Altar, a complex series of circuits and channels that allowed him to turn a Soul into energy and imbue some of his Lacrima Crystal with that energy. To the outside eye it may seem like Sorcery or Magic, but to Kazura it was Science. It was a science that took the utmost care, and yet could still go wrong easily.
At the center of the altar was the receptacle for the Lacrima that was to be enchanted. That bowl had four channels leading into it, all at ninety degree angles from each other. Those channels were fed by circuits comprised of a mixture of Kazura's reiatsu circuits and raw lacrima crystal. Those circuits connected the channels at the top of the altar and the compartment at the bottom of the altar that the Soul would be placed into. From there, it took exceptional will and strength to tear the soul into its raw essence and squeeze it through the circuits, condensing it into a liquid that would cover the Lacrima completely.
It was an arduous process that required Kazura to pour half of his reiatsu into each attempt at crafting, an exhausting effort to try and do in mass quantities. In fact, it just wasn't possible to do without days of rest and trial and error. Which is what Kazura was here to do. He had a few days off, that he had devoted purely to getting this recipe correct. He needed these Soul Storage Crystals if he was going to be able to make anything powerful. His blunder with the volcano had taught him that.
Setting the raw chunk of Lacrima into the bowl, Kazura began the ritual. First, he used Energy Generate to summon up a great deal of raw energy out of his own body. That would be the catalyst for this Raw Reiatsu enchantment that he was working on. He then used even more reiatsu to tear apart the reiatsu that he had given physical form to, feeding the soul into the circuits to condense it as pure soul matter and filling the bowl with it. Wiped out from using so much energy, Kazura stepped back and hoped that he had been successful.

Attempted Lacrima Production -
{Batch of Soul Storage Crystals Rank 1}
Item Name: Soul Storage Crystals
Item Type:: Tool
Item Rank: E
Creation Skills: 4 in Crafting, among others
Item Description:
This Crystal is a simple Lacrima creation. By enchanting the raw Lacrima with Raw Reiatsu, the crystal forms an empty vessel. By pressing this crystal to a corpse, the souls of the body can be drawn into it. For example, by pressing the crystal into the blood of a human, a Rank 2 Water Soul would be drawn up into the Crystal. This desecrates the corpse, twisting it into a scorched and charred figure, a hideous and gross perversion of what it used to be. Obviously, as it does so, only one soul can be extracted from a corpse. It would be more efficient to extract the mask of an Akki, and its Chains, and its Bones rather than just get one soul out of it. However, this way you don't have to carry around flesh.
This Lacrima recipe can be produced at multiple Tiers. For each Tier of enchantment (Rank 1, Rank 2, Rank 3, Rank 4), this Crystal can store more powerful souls. While the cost of the raw material stays the same, it takes a more powerful soul to be used in enchantment to be able to store souls effectively. A Rank 1 Enchantment can store Rank 1 and Rank 2 souls. A Rank 2 Enchantment can store Rank 1, Rank 2, and Rank 3 Souls. A Rank 3 Enchantment can store any soul. A Rank 4 Enchantment can store 2 souls of the same rank, but they obviously must come from different corpses. They can even be different types, but they must be the same rank. When the Soul Storage Crystal is used in the production of another Lacrima item, the crystal is consumed in the process of extracting the soul.
Each successful crafting of this Recipe yields 5 Soul Storage Crystals.
The Lacrima Recipe is:
1 Rank X Raw Reiatsu Enchantment (Any Rank will do, effects detailed above)
Price: (10,000 Ryo per batch)
