Basic Appearance:
[Geoffrey, or 'Joff' as he is called, looks to be around 17 years of age. He is handsome in a 'pretty boy' sort of way, with mid-length raven hair. He has delicate features, and exceedingly pale skin. His eyes are so dark, they almost appear black. Joff is of medium build, with a bit of muscle, but nothign substantial. His attire consists of a classic western suit, no overcoat, simply a clean, white silk shit and a black vest, along with a bowtie. He also wears high quality black pants, slacks, and a belt. It should be noted that while all of his clothing is consistant with a high quality servant, it is also perfectly suitable in combat conditions, allowing perfect range of movement.]
Basic Personality:
Joff's relationship is almost less that of a servant and his master, and more that of a mentor and his student. While Joff is most certainly subservient to Shōkan, Shōkan often offers him advice, and his instructions always have something to teach Joff. Joff is, in essence a good person, deep down, at the core of his being, he is good, which is one of th ethigns Shōkan likes about him. However, Joff is also very young, and often hot headed, as is the happenstance of youth. Joff is also completely and totally loyal to the Kawada, and Shōkan. He would rather die that betray them... Another thing Shōkan likes about him. Additionally, while Joff is perfectly polite, and has superb manners, the absolute ideal manservant, he poses a wit and sarcasm so subtle and skillful, its almost a masterpiece. This is what Shōkan really loves about Joff. Of course, while Joff is usually very well mannered, with excellent ettiquet, he loses that to anger very quickly when he percieves a threat or slight agianst the Kawada, or Shōkan in general.
Powers Overview:
Sealed Form: Geoffrey's sealed zanpakuto is that of a simple katana. With a black sheath, and grey gandle & guard.
Shikiai Appearance: Pair of Perfectly white, crisp gloves. On the back, the Kawada Clan symbol is evident, a black phoenix rising in glory. Name of the zanpakuto is Nomin.
Overall Ability: Nomin's overall ability is simple. With Joff's extreme amouns of Spiritual Pressure, his reitsu naturally leaks out all around him, saturating the area for around 20 yards. In this area, Joff can control, and solidify air. In his overall, the amount and complexity of his control is rather small, simply shadow-boxing, controlling an amount of air slightly smaller than both of his hands. He can also give the air sharp edges, for cutting power. Something unique about this release, is that once Joff has taken note of you, either with his powerful senses or Anti-Stealth, he can keep track of your location by "Feeling" you with his reitsu. This only extends to as long as you are in the field of his reitsu. The drawbacks for this overall is that if he can't see you or find you, he can't really do much. Once he DOES however, it is very strong. Because his reitsu is saturated EVERYWHERE, one cannot use ES (Unless they have at least 400 in ES) to sense where he will attack from, they must use senses or instinct. 250 Senses is enough to easily feel the air around a specific body part that will be attacked. 150 would be a watered down version of this effect. The thing that makes this overall special, is that when he's shadow boxing, Joff can channel the kawada Clan kentoujutsu techniques into his air punches.
Zan Techniques:
~Mamorimasu~
Mamorimasu is Joff's defensive technique. With his ability to control air, Joff hardens the air around one specific part of his body, i.e. one limb, torso, neck etc. The strength of this hardened air requires the enemy to have an offensive stat of 25% more than his SpR to cut through, this is just to cut through it however, there will still be resistance, like trying to cut through mud instead of air. There is NO resistance if they have 50% superiority. The cost for this technique is 100 reitsu. The real power of this technique is that he can use it multiple times in one post, and can even use it to protect allies. By expending duble the normal reitsu, he can create two areas of hardened air on his body, or an allies. 3 is triple, etc. This is maxed at 5.
Drawbacks: While using this technique, Joff CAN'T use the offensive capabilities of his overall, i.e. shadow-boxing. This technique is mentally straining when using it multiple times, it reuires intense concentration to condense the air, and the more its used, the more tunnel vision he gets. 1 is fairly simple, like reading and walking at the same time, at 3 it becomes harder, Joff is only able to give his full attention to one thing or person at a time, and fighting multiple enemies at once like this is very dangerous. At 5, Joff can hardly even move or his concentration is disrupted, 5 in a single post means that Joff can't really battle, and this would be used in more of a supporting role.
~Sacrifice~
Joff explodes with his SpR, condensing the air in the area his reitsu saturates many times over. The air pressure becomes so powerful that it simulates the effect of a diver coming up too soon from deep sea diving... Imploding their body, paying special attention to weak parts i.e. eyes, ears. resisting this effect requires equal offensive stat to his SpR. owever, it requires double to not be injured at all. Having equal willsimply keep you from dying, you will still have major internal bleeding, and will STILL die if no medical treatment is found quickly.
Drawbacks: The same effects that happen to a person with equal offensive stat happens to Joff. He will be incapacitated, and most likely die if no medical attention is found. Also, this technique effects allies as well, so it is best not used unless his allies are overwhelmingly stronger than him, in which case it probably isn't necessary in the first place.

Necessary Backstory:
Joff was born the Third son of a long line of Kawada servants. Their family had served the Kawada for over 2,000 years, and had served them faithfully in all of that time. Joff's father, was the Kawada Clan's Chief Seneschal. Meaning that he was in charge of all of the other servants, organizing, hiring, firing paying, the works. As such, it was a bit of a surprise when Joff joined the Kawada Guardsmen (Most people thought he would use his fathers connections to gain an easy, comfortable position.) , the people who guard the Kawada Manor and grounds from tresspasers, on average, these men range from low to mid level seated officers, with the leader usually being that of a 3rd seat, or possibly even a Vice Captain in some cases.
Joff's unpredictability did not end their, as he rose throught the ranks of the guardsmen, and gained the rank of Captain of the guard at only 110 years of age, a very impressive feat. This brings us to how Shōkan met Joff, and how he became Shōkan's personal manservant. You see, when Shōkan fell out of the stasis dimension from the sky, it was Joff who found him, and brought him to Squad 4. Shōkan, seeing the immense skill and potential in Joff, moved his position from that of Captain of the Guard, to his personal manservant and bodyguard. This, in reality, was perhaps the highest honor a servant of the Kawada Clan can reach. In this time, Joff has strived to be as perfect a manservant as there ever was, and has not failed Shōkan yet.
