OOC: Training for CTP
IC: Vesta was walking around Karakura, exploring the town. She had been here long enough to have actually done this already, but she had gotten so busy, with meeting Jin and Tsukuyomi. Meeting them and schoolwork had definitely eaten up all of her free time. She was now walking around town, just observing everything that was in town. The town was a lot bigger than she had originally thought. But then again, she had only really been to school, her house and the woods around her house.
She had just been walking around aimlessly, window shopping with all the stores that she passed on the streets she walked, not really stopping long enough to look thoroughly. She just didn't know why she was so restless. She continued to just walk, putting one foot in front of the other and just walking. Eventually, it led her towards a rundown part of town. She stopped and looked around, not knowing where she was. She started to retract her steps when she thought she heard something. "Is anyone there?"

(OOC: TRAINING FOR TTP)
Masa was walking around the town's roofs of Karakura. He was given some more time in this world because the garganta he was supposed to receive ended up never picking him up at all, including his trusty companion Myah. Myah, a hollowfied small cute dog was jumping with her master/friend on the roofs with Masa, just killing him. She was a loyal little thing, not leaving Masa's side once. However, then Myah smelled something in the air. She sniffed and sniffed in the air and Masa turns around, "Don't stand there mutt, let's keep going," but Myah hesitated.
She quickly sprints off, jumping down safely off the Karakura town's roofs and sprinting off to go this source. She dodged everything in her way and eventually found that source. It was a young girl... She hides in the shadows, wagging her tail in excitement. As soon as the girl stopped and said something, Myah quickly barked and quickly ran towards the girl. From there, she jumps on the girls legs and begins to wag her little tail. She begins to sniff and lick her, obviously attracted by her not just because she's a cute girl to the dog but her energy was actually strong. The dog barked and barked wanting to be picked up.
If she happened to pick her up, she'd begin to lick all over her face, wagging her tail. If she left the dog alone, she would whine to the girl to pick her up. However, something fearsome has followed the dog. Masa slowly steps down and looks from the shadows at the scene. He gave no emotion and no aggression to the sight. However, he felt like testing this little one. Myah wouldn't be attracted to someone unless they were powerful. He begins to release all his spiritual pressure in the air, making it thick and unbearable to spiritual beings. Myah whined and quickly jumps or runs towards her master's side in the shadows. Masa would slowly step out, "You, girl. Identify yourself."
Masa's appearance was rather scary. His samurai armor and sword on his side presented a threatening pose. The question of rather he'd attack her was secretly negative in Masa's mind but he wishes to see if she can handle this strong power the Espada can release. If she happened to handle his power well, he'd applaud her. If not... well, no reason to keep it going. Either way, once she responded and showed her signs of handling it or not he'd lower this power to a normal state again. His orange eyes peer at the little girl, causally watching the girl's actions and her manners. In the Bushido code it is stated to never harm a child and so Masa will follow the code.... Unless, something turns...

Vesta was standing there when she heard a barking noise. She loved animals, but thought it was rather weird to find an animal here. She looked and saw something that looked like a dog run towards her and jump up her legs, wanting to be held. Vesta just couldn't say no to an animal, so she picked up the cute little dog and felt it's warm tongue lick all over her face. She giggled when it did that, feeling the dog's tail hit her arm from how much it was wagging. She was enjoying the company of this dog, for sure. The sniffing was even cute.
Then, she felt something. She immediately dropped the dog, watching it run towards the man that was starting to materialize. She was dropped down to her knees, with this invisible weight put on her shoulders. She couldn't even stand due to the pressure. She had no idea what was going on, but she saw the man that had stepped out of the shadows. He had something on his face that she remembered, it was like a piece of a hollow mask. But, this guy looked like a human. What in the world did that make him? She was confused.
When the man told her to identify herself, she definitely wasn't going to say anything. "My daddy told me to never talk to strangers. You are for sure a stranger, so I'm not talking to you." She stayed on her knees, trying to get up, but it was impossible. She even tried to grab for her necklace, but with all the weight on her, she couldn't do that either. So, she looked up at the man, trying to stay upright and not fall over under this weird, invisible strength. She was thinking to herself how she even got in this mess
Post by Masa Kumasaka on May 21, 2015 22:51:22 GMT -5
He was sure the power was off to let herself go... He slowly sighed, looking at the girl with her response. He nodded and agreed with her, "Your father is a man that surely knows the real world. You are correct, I am stranger. However, a stranger who's not going to hurt you. It's against the rules in my book to harm such a girl as yourself," he would explain to the young girl. He slowly would approach her but only 4 yards away. He wasn't showing hostility, "My name is Masa Kumasaka," he says before suddenly he zips his chest guard's zipper down. A tattoo of a Nine appeared and he'd drop his hand afterwards, "The Ninth Espada of the Arrancars of Las Noches," this would probably leave her clueless.
He'd slowly take a few more steps forward, looking down at her, "You seem to posse something unique little one. You can see me and that's a unique blessing for a human such as yourself," he explained to her. Myah slowly walked beside him, barking at her in a passive tone. He looks down at his companion and doesn't give any emotion, "I see you've met Myah, my little mutt who happened to be attracted by your reiastu," he tells her. He'd slowly look back at her, "I assume you don't know what I am. The mask on top of my head and some samurai armor on me... I'm known as an Arrancar, a race of aggressive and battle hungry hollows that have artificially evolved to become more human. Unfortunately, not everyone in my race is as passive as I am. I regained some... sense in my humanity," he would explain to her once more.
Myah barked like she was explaining it too but Masa shook his head. "You mentioned you had a father little one, where is he and why isn't he with you? You do know there are beasts around here who stalk the innocent, correct?" he asked the girl. It was actually unique for Masa to show his care to this soul but he had no reason to harm someone innocent to him. She was just a little after all. He didn't show a sign of aggressiveness in his tone but was rather careful in his tone. He had no emotions to express but she could perhaps tell somehow maybe that he's not going to harm her.

Vesta felt the weird power release as the man looked at her. She took a deep breath and slowly got to her feet. She listened to what this man had to say. He said he wasn't going to hurt her, but he was still a stranger. She had no reason to trust him. He slowly walked towards her. She instinctively grabbed for her locket, not pulling it off her neck yet, but having it in the palm of her hand, just to have it there for comfort reasons. He didn't seem to be going for an attack, but she was still rather inexperienced at fighting, so she wasn't sure.
He introduced himself as Masa Kumasaka. It was an interesting name, to be sure, but when he said Ninth Espada of Arrancar, she cocked her head to the side and just stared at him like he had grown another head. "...A what?" He continued talking, but she was still curious what this word 'Arrancar' meant. She had never heard it before, only hearing of hollows. This new 'Arrancar' made her think of what else could be in Hueco Mundo. She only assumed he was from there because of the part on his face that reminded her of a mask.
He called her unique, which she definitely was. He named Myah, which she assumed was the weird little dog that she had met earlier. He then described Arrancar, a race of battle hungry hollows that became more human. She ripped her locket off of her neck then, grasping it tightly in her hand. He said that not everyone of his race is as passive as he is. Though, logic would dictate that if he was like he described his kind, he would've already tried to go after her. So, she thought that he might be actually telling the truth.
He then asked where her father was and why he wasn't with her. He also asked if she knew of the beasts around that stalk the innocent. "My father knows that I wander around the town and knows that I have enough sense to not get in too much trouble, Masa. I do have a way to protect myself and I do know of the hollows that stalk people. I have fought a few myself. My father doesn't need to be around me all the time, I have to venture out on my own. But, beasts can come in many forms and just because I know your name, doesn't mean that you're still not a stranger to me."

Masa listened to her as she explained that her father just lets her do whatever. He continued to listen until the very end including how he's still a stranger to her. He doesn't honestly blame the girl because this world is full of weirdos and creatures that attempt to harm children like her. However, Masa simply sighs and removes his samurai mask, his face being emotionless appears and he looks much more 'human'. Masa doesn't hesitate to say this though, "I understand you are not trusting of me and I completely respect that little one. I just want you to understand that all it took was for me to simple release a lot of my energy in the air to put you down. I could have easily just slain and left you there to die but I am not that way at all. You are young and innocent and have no reason to be harmed by me. If you simply wish to not reveal yourself to me than that's up to you. I'm no monster, I can promise you that," he explained to her.
He slowly puts his mask on, "I only simply wish to know who you are because you are interesting and I have a feeling you're more than a human but I cannot tell with my senses. If it helps you gain my trust, I'll answer any questions you have deep down to ask. I can even present you some of my powers that are rather unique only to my race. However, I wish to be just outside the city so I do not harm anyone. If it makes you feel better, I'll even throw my zanpakuto somewhere during my presentation so I can show you I will not hurt you. Do we have a deal, young lady?" he asked her. He wasn't going to break his promise but the little girl doesn't know that. He'd look down at her and hopefully get to know this young girl. If she was strong... he could teach her a few tricks on being more powerful... It's all up to her however.

Vesta listened with interest. She thought that no one would be talking to her like this if they actually meant her harm. So, he showed off his power so she knew that he could easily kill her, but he didn't. It was an interesting thing for him to do, explaining everything out like this. She was still tense, but she did relax a fraction around him. She did have Zorn if she needed her and if he actually attacked her and she lost control, she had her demon powers that would activate for her. So, all in all, she thought she might be able to stand against him.
If not, she figured she could use the demon powers, if they activated, as a distraction to maybe get away. Hopefully get away, since she had no idea what his power was. She only knew that he was stronger than her. He promised that he wasn't a monster, and she was actually starting to believe what he said. He could easily kill her at any time, but he wasn't. He was just talking to her, trying to explain everything. She still held her locket, but now she wasn't as tense, letting her body relax but still holding the locket near her heart.
He called her interesting because she seemed to be more than human. He was then willing to answer any questions she has, even showing his powers. When he mentioned a zanpaktou, she perked up. She had no idea that he would have access to a zanpaktou. He asked if they had a deal. "Deal. First, my name is Vesta Zweig. I still don't completely trust you, but I'm curious about two things. First, I am interested to see how your power is different from a hollow. Second, how could you have a zanpaktou? I thought only shinigami had zanpaktous?"
Post by Masa Kumasaka on May 22, 2015 21:04:42 GMT -5
Masa would once more remove his mask from his face, however this time he actually clips it to his side. He looks down at her and nods, "Vesta... A nice name for a girl such as yourself. As promised, I shall answer those two questions," he says before slowly unclipping his zanpakuto and putting it beside Myah so he cannot release or pull tricks on her. However, if she had tried anything to grab it Myah would most likely bite her finger or Masa would stomp his foot down on the sheath to avoid it from moving but it was most likely trusted that she wouldn't go for it. He puts a finger up and reaches down his vest to pull out a pack of smokes and pulls one out just for himself and brings his finger towards the end. Instantly, the cigarette is lite and he slides the pack away.
He breathes the smoke in and breathes it out away from Vesta to not get any on her, "Right... Now to answer number one, we arrancars may seem and appear human but we still posse the powers of a hollow. As you can see on top of my head, that was my hollow form long ago... A Hawk-like hollow and yes I did sadly devour poor souls..." he took in a breathe and exhailed out smoke away from her. "The hollows you see around here are different however from the hollows in Hueco Mundo. They're a lot stronger and posse powers that rarely enter this world from Hueco Mundo. I assume you'd not want to leave this area but I can show you a technique we get from being a Gillian class," and slowly he'd raise his hand up in the sky. His hand would open up and a small orange ball of reiastu begins to gather. He'd charge this mighty ball up to become bigger and bigger...!
He'd look up at the sky before giving his chant, "Cero!" and with a loud bang a large Cero flies into the sky and travels far within the distance. With his 700 Reiastu the ball goes off far in the atmosphere and causes a large explosion to be seen. It was fairly huge but it was lucky not harming anymore. He'd slowly bring his arm down, "That is called a 'cero'. This is our unique ability and technique we get from being a gillian as stated earlier. We hollows evolve and gain new abilities as we go. Ceros are pretty much natural to us," he explained to her. He'd look down at her and breathe in and out smoke away from her. "I am only a minor Espada but that's all I have in that field other then my balas. Balas are the same as ceros but are much faster and do less destruction. They're also smaller too," he explains to her.
He then looks down to his zanpakuto, "This now leads to your second question, arrancars are artificially made to counter shinigami in way. We both do indeed carry zanpakutos but ours is rather completely different. We do not have a spirit inside our swords nor shikai and bankai but rather all of our natural hollow powers into one blade. We call our release, "Primera Etapa" which means First Release. Most of us have a first release, as a matter of fact almost all of us do. However there is a "Segunda Etapa" but I've only heard stories that it's only accessible if you truly prove yourself to be the strongest of all Las Noches. We all have our themes as these hollowified animals or whatever. Mines... You can already tell. A hawk! And what does a hawk use? Winds. I'd be honored to show you but I'm afraid I'd put this entire area at risk," he explained this all to her with a source that seemed fairly true.
Masa slowly breathes and drags the cigarette in and exhails it all out away from Vesta. Myah would simply wag her tail and just causally watch over the zanpakuto, "If you are wondering about Myah, she's a hollow that wasn't human. She was previously a dog spirit that got hollowfied and managed to come to Hueco mundo, only to be chased by other hollows for food. Now she's my mutt that me keeps company," he explained to Vesta just in case she wanted to ask. Pretty much straight forward from this point Masa explained all her questions in detail. It was up to Vesta to keep asking the questions or even start gaining even more trust. He wasn't going to do anything, he stands there now awaiting for Vesta to reply with something now.
Post by Vesta Zweig on May 22, 2015 23:29:13 GMT -5
Vesta smiled when he said she had a nice name. She was pretty proud of her name and liked that others also liked it, though it was weird that she was doing this around a man she just met that was an Arrancar. Though, to be honest, she still wasn't completely sure about this Arrancar race. He took his zanpaktou off and left it with the dog, who barked happily next to him. She looked at the dog and thought something so cute would not hang around someone that was purely evil....would it? She watched him pull out a package of cigarettes.
She immediately sneered at them. She hated cigarettes. They were so bad for you, but he was an Arrancar. By what he's already said, if they're from hollows, then he's already dead, so honestly, it wouldn't hurt him to smoke. Still, the idea was grossing her out. She did like the little trick he used to light the cigarette. It made her look at her own finger and wonder if she could manage to do that. He then explained that Arrancar appear human but have the powers of a hollow. She hadn't really seen anything too unique from the hollows she had encountered.
Though, now looking back on it, she assumed that she had only dealt with lower level hollows. When he mentioned his head, she looked and did notice that it was hawk-like in appearance. She just thought it strange that he would look back on those times with sadness like that. But, she didn't know the man that well, so she really couldn't assume anything like that. Also, for him to say that the hollows in Hueco Mundo were stronger than the ones here freaked her out a little bit. She already thought that the hollows here were strong, but to face some even stronger? She didn't like that thought.
He then wanted to show her a technique from Gillian class, whatever that was. He pointed to the sky, she saw a huge orange orb of light appear in his hand and then shoot out while he yelled Cero. She was amazed by it, watching it go into the sky and explode like fireworks. She had never seen anything like that. The hollows she had faced never used a technique like that. The hollows in Hueco Mundo must be strong to have a technique like that. When he said that they evolve and learn more after that, she knew she wasn't ready to face them.
When he mentioned balas, she couldn't believe that something could be smaller and move faster than that attack. She was trying to process all of this when he went into explaining about the zanpaktou. He said that arrancars were artificially created to combat shinigami. It didn't seem possible, but she didn't know a lot about science. He mentioned that shinigami have a spirit inside their blades, she immediately thought of Tsukuyomi. She wondered if he knew that there was a spirit inside his blade. So, all of their hollow power is in the zanpaktou?
It sounded cool. Arrancars had a first release and fabled second release, which sounded really interesting. The themes of animals she really enjoyed, since she loved animals so much and had an animal for her doll. He had wind power, which would be pretty awesome to use, but she didn't want the area to get destroyed either. When he talked about Myah, a dog spirit that was hollowfied, it made her feel better about him that he would save an animal like that. "Well, you don't seem scary like the rest of your race, if I can trust you.
So, I guess I can talk a little bit about myself, though sadly I don't know much. I am what's called a Nakabakki. I am a half demon. The other half of me could be, as far as I know, any number of other spiritually aware beings, though I only know of the shinigami and now Arrancar. I would guess hollows don't really count, since they are just beasts. But, it just doesn't seem possible with your race or hollow, from what I already know. ANYWAY, this gives me somewhat of an advantage, as I can tap into the power from my demon parent and spiritually aware parent. My other half is Bount.
I don't know if you know about the Bount, I barely know about them myself, but our power is summoning a doll that we can use. The dolls take their shape from their Bount, but they have their own personality and power. They can act on their own, but while still communicating with the Bount user. The actual power that the doll has varies depending on the doll and user. My doll has lightning powers. It would be rather interesting if my lightning went up against your wind." She sat for a moment, thinking about what would happen.
Post by Masa Kumasaka on May 23, 2015 11:43:07 GMT -5
The Arrancar listened and gathered what information he can from Vesta and was rather amazed that she isn't really human. She's a Nakabakki, Half Demon and half something else. It's rare for an Arrancar to come across these guys but Masa had the privilege to finally meet one. However, Vesta should too feel honored to meet an Espada. She explained it could be almost anything but he knew it couldn't be a hollowfied race... Arrancars and Hollows cannot reproduce with these humans so it's impossible. She can also use demonic powers and the other half of her powers? Very interesting, she'd be someone worthy of fighting if she ever got strong. Masa had thoughts of perhaps asking her what her powers were but soon enough the Bount equation comes.
Now, it's very rare (Like the Nakabakki) for an arrancar to come across bounts and this was actually unique for her to posse a bount's power as well. Masa's heard rumors of one Bount so powerful that he may rarely use his doll but he's not completely sure that's true. Bounts seem to rely on their dolls heavily in order to do damage to their enemy. What she explained to him was what he partially already knew. Masa has heard these 'dolls' had their own personality and even power. However, he did not know it varies depending on the doll and user. Then she brings up the power colliding with his which quickly makes him shake his head. He would quickly speak, "I'd rather not test that, Vesta... Not just for your sake but everything around here might turn to ashes if something like that ever happened," he says, shooting down her idea quickly.
He would look across the streets, seeing it rather empty. "I guess I can further explain the evolution of hollows. I'd like to bring up what you said earlier about all hollows being beasts. That is not completely true," he says breathing the last bit of the cigarette in before kneeling down to extinguish it. He would pull something out of vest, a little bag and place the butt into it. Perhaps he was against littering? He'd put the bag away and continue to explain, "You see, the hollows that roam around here are indeed 'beasts' but that's because all that comes in their mind is feasting. When the hollow feasts upon souls they become more satisfied and somehow manage to leave this world and enter the world of Hueco Mundo,"
He'd look down back at her, explaining further, "You see, when a hollow enters Hueco Mundo, there's not fresh souls that we can feast on and what becomes a new source of food? Ourselves. We would begin to fight and cannibalize on each other, eventually a large group of hollows that are attempting to devour each other bond together, forming something towering and very tall known as a Gillian. As I said, this is where intelligence becomes real once more. Gillians are mindless but there always seem to be one hollow inside that Gillian that takes control over everything. Once the hollow takes complete control, the Gillian will then begin to devour and cannibalize on other Gillians, evolving once more to become smaller but about an seven to eight foot length... An Adjuchas. This is more of a common hollow I've personally seen in Hueco Mundo. These hollows no longer act as beasts but rather as savage being who tend to gather groups up and even have loners... I unfortunately, was at this state before artificially evolving into the unique new race. Anyways, adjuchas have a lot of powers that Gillians don't receive and usually they would stop devouring from here sometimes. However.... There is another step that can come into play in our evolution. A Vasto Lordes," he'd explain once more to her.
This was a lot for the young girl to know but she was interested in this knowledge that Masa was willing to share this information with the young girl. He continued to teach her more about his kind, "Vasto Lordes become smaller, the size of your average humans but don't judge them by their sizes, these guys are a foe to reckon with. Vasto Lordes are almost as powerful as us Arrancars but even could be more powerful then some of us. I've only heard rumors of these Vasto Lordes but their existence is so small that it is almost believed they are dying evolution. Why? Because the arrancar evolution is taking that spot. However, if a Vasto Lordes truly believes they can become even stronger then what they are they would evolve themselves to become an Arrancar. There are two ways you can do this, one is you can come to Las Noches and have our king break your mask... This would trigger a new evolution to come forth and even bring in new powers. Or you could fight and devour one of the strongest creatures and being in Hueco Mundo and have a natural evolution but it's unlikely this would one hundred percent work," he explained.
From there, it would seem Masa would stop talking about this. He told her everything he mostly knew about hollows and arrancars and even the evolution. He look back to the street, just passivly watching what happens in the distance but there was nothing, "As you learned all that, just remember not all hollows you think of are complete beasts. Some hollows were souls that never asked to become hollows. Rather forced or accidentally becoming hollows. I accidentally became a hollow long ago but perhaps I could tell you more about my past maybe later. However, I'd honestly like to ask you something Vesta, if it doesn't trouble you," he would get kinda serious at this point but he would refrain from sounding aggressive because he's not going to intentionally force this. "Would you like to learn some combat from an Espada?"
Post by Vesta Zweig on May 24, 2015 13:58:05 GMT -5
Masa was still adamant to not test their powers here. Vesta, of course, didn't know the full extent of his powers, so she wouldn't ask the question again. She thought about what being an Espada might mean. Obviously, it was a title that held some weight behind it, from the way he said it, even if she hadn't heard it before. So, until she knew anything else about this title, she was going to treat the title with respect. Also, since he had already shown how much power he had, she wasn't going to step on his toes either. She wasn't that stupid.
But, since he was going to teach her more about hollows, she wasn't going to say no. She loved to learn more about the spiritual races. Since her father would not tell her about them, this was the only way that she could learn. She shut her mouth and listened intently. She was going to try her best to remember everything that he was saying. But, before he could actually get into any detail, he put out his cigarette. She was expecting him to just throw it on the ground, but after he put it out, he pulled out a ziploc bag and put the butt into it. She guessed that he wanted to protect nature, so that raised his cool level.
So, it turns out the hollows that she had been facing are small fries. After they eat enough souls, they enter Hueco Mundo and eat more stuff, but what they eat is themselves. A look of disgust crossed her face at the mention of cannibalism. It didn't make sense to her, but hey, whatever works for the race she guessed. She knew that animals would do something like this, with a few different species, which made her think of hollows more like animals than actual people. The next form for them is a Gillian, which she thought was interesting, since it was like a swarm of hollows make the one.
Then, once one hollow from the pile that made the Gillian takes control, they do it all over again, except with other Gillians. Then, they become Adjuchas, which are more common in Hueco Mundo. Instead of beasts, they're more like savages, staying in groups or alone to hunt. It is at this point that most will stop devouring their own kind and have a lot more power than the Gillians. Though, when he mentioned that there was another step left that was possible, it sounded to Vesta like this step was completely unheard of.
Vasto Lordes become the size of humans but are a force to be reckoned with. They can be as powerful or more powerful than an Arrancar. Vesta's eyes got bigger as he said that. Based of what he had already said about Arrancars, it was pretty impressive that a hollow could get that kind of power. Though, there aren't many Vasto Lordes around because of the Arrancar evolution. How they can become Arrancars is either have the mask broken by their king or devour someone stronger than themselves and it would be a more natural evolution.
He continued that some hollows never asked to be a hollow, since it can be forced or they could accidentally made. She didn't know that and now she questioned the hollows that she had faced before. Were they like he just said? She thought about that for a minute before she heard him ask if she wanted to learn some combat from him. Her eyes lit up at the question. Ever since she found hollows, she's always been interested in learning more combat. "Yes! I need to learn all I can to become stronger. Ziege Dich, Zorn!" It was then that she dropped the locket.
What Masa would see next is as the locket got closer to the ground, the locket itself was starting to change. From out of the locket, he would see paws, a tail, the body and then the head of Zorn. Once he was fully formed, he would roar loudly, stretching his body out before shaking it quickly. He looked around and then ran over towards Vesta, nestled up next to her and staring down the Espada, growling lightly. Vesta put her hand in his fur, to try to calm him, but she knew that he sensed his power and wouldn't rest easy just yet.
Post by Masa Kumasaka on May 25, 2015 18:54:12 GMT -5
He would hear her gladly accept the offer. Before he knew it, she dropped something... It certainly wasn't something he was expecting. He didn't even know she had something in her possession like that. He thought the doll was something else but he can see it now. Bounts must use items to release their dolls much like a Fullbringer uses an item to summon forth their weapons. He kept note of that but he would speak as she calmed the creature, "Do you rely on that doll in order to fight? Surely, you must know combat yourself or else you could be the troubled one," he asked the half demon girl.
Masa kinda thought about it because if she relied on her doll, she could pretty much be that weakness and it's over for her and the doll. If Masa was to fight her seriously ever, he'd target her and eliminate this fight quickly. He kinda shook his head, "No... Let's focus with you. You have a decent doll and it seems fairly powerful, but somehow I feel like you could be stronger then the doll... Let's hear this first... Do you know any techniques?" he asked her. This is where he will better understand her

Vesta tried her best to calm Zorn, but he had seen what had happened between the two before he was summoned. Well, he hadn't technically seen anything, but he was able to feel what Vesta did as soon as she touched the locket. Through her touch, he was able to feel what she was feeling. He did know that she was a lot more relaxed around this 'Espada' person now that he had talked to her, but Zorn was still skeptical. He was always protective of her, and this time it would be no different. They both listened to his comment and Zorn got angry.
He knew his strength and it was one of the reasons he wanted them to leave as soon as possible. He didn't want her to get hurt or for himself to get hurt. How Zorn understood what he was saying was that Vesta only relied on him to fight. This was not completely true, but he still didn't like it when others pointed it out. He growled. "HOW DARE YOU SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT?! Vesta can fight! She doesn't completely rely on me to fight!" He was standing completely in front of her, hackles raised and growling at him.
Vesta grabbed at his fur, trying to calm him, standing next to Zorn's face. He kept trying to stand in front of her to protect her from him, but because of her holding tight to his fur, he could only move so much. "Stay calm, Zorn. Masa's not going to hurt us. If he wanted to, he would've done so already. He said he would teach me how to fight and I need all the combat training I can get. To answer your question, I don't completely rely on Zorn for fighting, but I will admit that he's the one that would land the killing blows on an enemy."
Vesta listened, hearing that he wanted to focus on her power. He commented on Zorn, which made him growl louder. Vesta held tight, knowing that he wasn't happy with the comments he made about him. She tried her best to send him some of her calm, but she figured that it wouldn't actually work. But, it didn't hurt to try at least once. She was going to answer honestly. "I, so far, haven't learned techniques. Zorn, however, knows at least two techniques. It seems that while we train together, he's able to unlock his power more quickly than I can. I don't know about my demon powers. I don't remember anything once I change."

Masa would give the doll such a blank stare but this deeply made Masa chuckle down his soul... He should easily surpass this doll in combat and oh how evil he was thinking... However, he promised Vesta not to harm her at all which means the doll will be remained unharmed as well. "I request you don't raise your voice at me, Vesta's doll. I am not here to harm you or Vesta," he said in a calming and smooth voice. Honestly, he was being honest with his words but he was annoyed of the doll's protection over Vesta being overly protective. He'd listen to her carefully and nodded each statement she made about her doll and her.
"That's good that your doll, Zorn knows techniques but we certainly need to get you some techniques. Without any, you'd be an easy target for a ton of people," he would slowly turn around behind himself and not face Vesta. It was going to be fast, but suddenly a sudden weird noise is heard and before Vesta could tell what's going on, Masa disappeared in front of her with the sword still on the ground and Masa being right beside her with his fingers out like a playful gun towards her with one hand and the other towards the doll. This would pretty much be a checkmate in Masa's mind. "You see, if you had a flashstep technique or awareness technique your kind may know it'd be easy to avoid these moments. I could easily send a bala blast towards you and your doll. It'd be game over," he'd drop his hands and slowly walks back towards his sword with Myah barking at him with her tail wagging.
This might encourage Vesta to train training just herself with techniques. Masa may have easily just blown her away if he was truly hostile. "Vesta, let's focus on you. The doll can respectfully stay out to make sure you're safe with me but you're the one who needs the training right now. If you're doll has two techniques of its own and not you yet then you surely need your training to catch up with the doll," he said turning around lookig Vesta directly in the eyes. "So, Vesta, will you agree to learn my combat strategies?"

Vesta was watching everything that was going down. She was trying her best to keep her doll calm and under control but she knew how he was. He would try to protect her from everything, but even he couldn't do that. When Masa spoke to him, she shouldn't be surprised that he was actually being nice and polite to Zorn. But, with the way he has carried himself so far, she was happy that he did. She didn't know how he would react to the yelling and growling from her doll. She gripped the doll's coat tighter, trying to get him to calm down a bit.
Though, when Vesta directly spoke to Zorn, trying to show him reason, he calmed slightly. He knew what she said was true and that if this man wanted to, he could've killed both of them already. Zorn also knew that Vesta needed the training, he just didn't like that it came from this unknown man. But, he did lessen some of his tension, the growling getting lower in his throat. Vesta knew that this was the closest thing to him being calm about the entire situation. She lessened the grip on his fur slightly while she was talking.
After she finished talking, Masa pointed out that she definitely needed techniques because she would be an easy target if she continued to go without techniques. He turned around and then, in an instant, he was gone. Vesta's eyes widened in surprise. It was like what she had seen Tsukuyomi do in front of her. She was really curious as to how he was able to do something that a shinigami could do, but he also had a zanpaktou. Maybe it was because they were made to combat shinigami that he had fast movement like they did.
When he reappeared, he was right next to her with his hands out, pointed at her and Zorn. She honestly didn't even catch when he appeared, but was able to catch something in her peripheral vision. She turned and saw how he was standing and knew that they both would've died if he actually attacked. He then said what she was thinking, while walking over to his zanpaktou. She looked towards Zorn and he looked shaken as well. Zorn was strong, but it was pretty obvious that Masa was stronger than him. The display shut him up, but made him stare at Masa, never letting his eyes move from him.
Vesta took a deep breath to steady herself from what just happened and looked at Masa. He spoke, saying that her doll can stay out to watch him and make sure that she was safe. Though, she would be the one that would be doing the training, since she would need to catch up with her doll, since he had two techniques already. He then asked her if she would agree to learn from him. She looked to Zorn, who didn't look to her, but kept his gaze on Masa, not doing anything, but Vesta knew what she wanted. She looked back towards Masa and nodded yes. She was ready.
