Vesta was still holding her head in pain. She had no idea what had just happened, and she was starting to get a little woozy as well. She looked over and saw something that she couldn't believe. It was a man, a huge man, clad in armor and his blade covered in a sort of black flame. She was confused, and her clouded mind didn't help her any. She vaguely recalled that Tsukuyomi and her were the same race, half demons, but even that memory was hard for her to pull to the surface. She felt tears stinging her eyes as the pain in her head from whatever happened didn't leave.
She turned back towards the ground, looking at it and trying to compose herself as much as possible. Thankfully, Zorn had stepped in front of her, growling at this new enemy. Their link was open and he was ready for any input that she would be able to give him, but all he felt now was Vesta's pain. Her pain made him even angrier. The anger pushed him over the edge, letting one of his techniques activate, creating a ring of lighting around him. He let some of his reiatsu into the circle and watched the fireball come towards them.
Vesta fell to the ground, in the fetal position, not knowing why there was so much pain coursing through her body right now or how the landscape looked so horrible. She blamed most of it on the fire man that was in front of her now, but there was other signs of another power there. She didn't know for sure if she had caused it or not, but she tried to delude herself in saying that it wasn't her. Zorn, while she did this, watched the fireball and once it entered his circle, lightning raised up to destroy the attack. Zorn stood his ground, protecting his owner.

Well the massive ten foot squared ball of pitch black fire moved through the air right towards Vesta as Zorn created lightning all around the both of them. The lightning was normal in appearance being a bluish coloration yet it would have been strange to witness something manipulate something that very few eve got to see more then a brief flash of. However, even naturally Tsukuyomi was blind and had never seen lightning he had only ever heard thunder and right now the demonic figure clad in pitch black armor heard the crackling of the lightning.
The sound of the massive fireball burning the air was also very apparent along with the actual heat that it gave off over the area. The grass on the ground below it actually turning grey and wrinkling up due to the incredible heat that simply dried out all of he hydration within each blade of nature. It was only a few moments until the massive ball of pitch black fire struck against the lightning and Tsukuyomi stood listening most likely as the sound of the two massive forces of reiatsu clashed with one another.
It was then that the sound of the fire vanished yet the crackling of the lighting remained and it was apparent that the lightning that Zorn had created had emerged victories over the hell fire. It was then that Vesta and Zorn would get another clear view of Tsukuyomi in his demonic state as the helm faced them as if he was actually starring at the both of them. All of a sudden though Tsukuyomi's helm cracked all over the sound loud enough that Vesta would actually be able to hear it over the sound that Zorn's lightning was making.
It was then that the entirety of his black armor started to crack all over each chip making the loud noise. Even the broadsword that he held in his left had was cracking small little sections chipping off piece by piece. If Vesta or Zorn looked carefully they would see that the small pieces that actually broke off and began to fall to the grass suddenly turned into small black flames that danced until they hit the ground and then smoldered it like they were burning deep below the ground. That was when the cracking all of a sudden got incredibly loud and dozens of breaks could be heard as the entirety of the armor broke along with the broadsword.
Every part of his demonic appearance suddenly broke apart like it had been smashed with pure force. The armor and blade turned to the black fire moving to the ground and burning the ground until the ground that Tsukuyomi dropped to his hands and knees on was nothing, but black dirt that had been burnt to a crisp. Tsukuyomi suddenly was there now small once again sweat dripping off his face as he panted for air. The young boy was once again back in control of his body yet just like the last time he remembered everything that had happened and the guilt of everything immediately began to weigh on his heart. '
He listened around the area and could still hear the sound of that damn fire burning nature. It was then that he moved his fingers and felt the charred ground that he was kneeling on right now. It was as if the fire had actually killed the dirt itself with how it felt and Tsukuyomi surged with hatred for his demonic power. Let alone the fact that he had been attacking the person that actually mattered to him. The last time it had just been some asshole Shinigami this time it was Vesta and he didn't know what he would do right now if his demonic nature had been successful in killing her.
That was when his expression shifted completely to shock. The images of Vesta's demonic form leapt into the front of his mind. How her voice had been so much more like evil itself and the strange power that she had wielded that Tsukuyomi right now still held very little knowledge about. All he knew was that it was something like a liquid that she had been able to solidify into weaponry. Yet at the same time when it made contact with something it caused whatever it was to decay. It was easy to determine that her demonic abilities might in fact be more dangerous then even his own and that was something that he knew Vesta would not like to hear especially right now.
Tsukuyomi focused struggling to stand up on his feet as he realized even more that his body right now was at a point that exhaustion wasn't even the proper term anymore. It was the same as last time an it was enough that Tsukuyomi came to the conclusion that going into his demonic like form would more the likely always leave him in this kind of condition. That much power flowing through him was always going to place far more stress then what he should allow not to mention that the power was infected with an ill nature.
So with that Tsukuyomi began to walk painfully over towards Vesta holding his left arm with his right as it was obvious that his left arm was hanging at the side as if it was disconnected or dead. Tsukuyomi realized that he couldn't move the arm without feeling overwhelming amounts of pain and that it wouldn't be wise to move it at all. "Vesta are you alright?" Tsukuyomi stopped when he realized he was about three feet in front of Zorn. He wasn't sure if Zorn was going to allow him close to Vesta now that he had seen his own transformation.

Vesta didn't notice what was going on, but Zorn did. He didn't let his eyes leave this man. So, he finally knew the weirdness that was inside Vesta. He personally didn't see her change, but he felt a weird energy leave her while he was being summoned. It was the same weirdness he had felt in her when he was first awakened as her power. Well, as her first power. As he watched the figure before him crack, he could almost feel the same weirdness from this...thing. While it was cracking, he could feel Tsukuyomi inside it.
So, what he said was true. He was like her, except with a different primary power. They were both half demons. Zorn had been surprised when he had heard Jin first say that, but he couldn't argue what was right in front of him and what he had felt from Vesta. They were definitely different. But, Zorn hadn't met too many people yet to actually see how different they were. He growled low in his throat as the figure continued to crack in front of him. He was very untrusting of what was going on before him. Before too long, the cracking was over.
When it was, Tsukuyomi fell to the ground, panting and covered in sweat. Zorn cocked his head to the side. He trusted this boy, somewhat, near his Vesta. But, what he had just seen now was disturbing. To have that much power for a child didn't seem possible. But, he looked to Vesta, thinking she had something that was like his, but he couldn't say how strong it was until he saw it for himself. He saw that Tsukuyomi seemed angry and then in shock. Zorn had no idea what he was thinking of, but watched as he came to his feet.
Zorn took a breath and let his lightning net go. Even if he needed it again, it was just a call away. He didn't want to have it out and waste his energy needlessly. He was completely exhausted and slowly made his way towards their location, holding his left arm. It must've been damaged during whatever happened. They both seemed to be in pain. Tsukuyomi stayed a few feet away, which Zorn was thankful for. He had no idea what to do about him. But, when he spoke, Vesta snapped out of her confusion. "Tsuki?"
She slowly got up and started to walk over to him. Zorn was going to stop her, but knew it was useless. He had seen how much this boy meant to her. Even if he did something, his lightning was quick enough to char the boy where he stood if he tried anything. Vesta walked as fast as she could and wrapped her arms around Tsukuyomi's neck, crying. "Tsuki? What happened? I don't remember anything..... What did I do? Everything looks wrong. I don't....remember... Please tell me what I did, what happened." Her body was shaking and she started to cry from fear that she did this without even knowing about it. She pulled him in tight, trying to ground herself with Tsuki.

So it seemed that Vesta had regained her consciousness just as he had and was able to speak now. However, Tsukuyomi recalled that Vesta had said that she had never experienced her demonic transformation before. She had said that when the two of them had started talking today so what had jus happened to her was he first time it had happened. Tsukuyomi couldn't help, but remember how much grief and sorrow he felt after what had happened the first time. It was just like how he felt right now only worse due to his lack of understanding.
Tsukuyomi heard Vesta say his name in a bit of confusion and realization that he was conscious again. Tsukuyomi had to be there for her that was one thing he knew for sure. He hadn't needed to be there for someone else since his mother. Since then he had only ever been detaching himself from those around him. Vesta was the only one that he had come to forge an emotional attachment too since his mother's death. The only thing that he could do was help her through this time of confusion and sorrow so she wouldn't suffer as much as he did after the first time.
The next thing that he heard was the sound of Vesta getting up off the ground and slowly her foot steps moved over towards him. Over the next two moments he could tell that Vesta's foot steps were increasing in speed and she was rushing right towards him. Tsukuyomi hadn't expected it all of a sudden as her arms reached around him and she hugged him only to start crying while she held onto him. Tsukuyomi had grown to hate his power for how dangerous it could be and the horrendous results on nature, but it seemed that Vesta was handling her transformation far worse then even he had.
Tsukuyomi stood there as Vesta began to speak at a super fast pace. Tsukuyomi couldn't interrupt her as she asked all of her questions and just couldn't understand what had happened. When she said all of that Tsukuyomi could hear the rapid beating of her heart and knew that she was panicking. All of a sudden when she reached the end of her questions she would feel Tsukuyomi's right hand on her head patting down her hair as his forehead pressed against hers gently. "Take a breathe Vesta calm yourself everything is alright."
Vesta was crying and panicking on what she could've done. She had no idea what happened and why everything looked the way it did. She knew that Zorn was watching her, but she had noticed the way he looked at Tsuki. Did something happen to him? When she was going towards him, she didn't see anything different on him, so why did he look at him like that? Ever since they started to meet, Zorn was skeptical, but this was something completely different. She pushed that to the back of her mind once she felt a hand on her head, patting her.
She breathing was still a little ragged with fear and she was still crying, but when he pressed his forehead against hers, she started to calm, but just slightly. He then told her that everything was alright while patting her hair and trying to keep her calm. She tried hard to think about what happened, but it was a total blank. Then, she remembered what Jin had told her, that she was a half demon, and the proof of the other power at work. It wasn't fire, it was decay. She knew she had demon powers, and she tried her best to never think about that side of herself.
But, it was fairly obvious to her now, with her mind starting to clear from Tsuki's presence, that it had to be her. Her demon side was pushed to the forefront and caused all of this decay. A new flow of tears came out of her eyes and she pushed a little more into Tsuki. "I did this, didn't I? My demon created all of this decay. I hate it, that it causes so much destruction. I'm afraid of it now. What is going to set it off to come out again? I don't want to destroy everything, Tsuki. I'm actually afraid of myself now. Do you have to leave and go back? I don't want my father to find this new power....."
She hugged Tsuki in tighter and moved her forehead to look him in the eyes, with the tears streaming down her face. She moved her face in to his so their noses touched. "Please.....I don't know what to do anymore...." She felt Zorn come closer to them, but keeping a respectable distance away. He was getting bored, so he started to wander around the little perimeter that he had created. Vesta then moved and laid her head on his shoulder. She was so glad that he was here for her in this crazy time. She couldn't picture anyone better to be here to help her.

Tsukuyomi felt from the contact that he had at the moment with his hand on Vesta's head and their foreheads pressed together a few different things that were going on with Vesta right now. Her skin wasn't soft right now like normal it was clammy and cold. Her transformation had to be just as exhausting as his own and that meant that right now she wasn't just layered in sweat like him her skin must feel strange and just unacceptable to the norm. He could feel her heart beat I was slowly down a bit, but not by much so she still wasn't calming down a huge deal even with him close.
It was then that her heart started to beat faster and faster again and her skin was twitching and her body shaking with freight, confusion and horror. Tsukuyomi stood there while Vesta spoke once again in fear of her own demonic abilities just as he was. She was so much more of a talker then him and Tsukuyomi couldn't even find an opening in what she was saying to interrupt and tell her to calm down. By the time she was down speaking Tsukuyomi was about to speak and then stopped when he heard the sound of her tears moving down her cheeks.
Her last words were the first in a while that actually made a cold icy grip close around his heart. Tsukuyomi knew that for whatever reason he was connected to his girl. It couldn't just be because that the two of them were half demons it had to be something more. Tsukuyomi felt almost the same way that he did towards his mother for this girl and hearing her the way she was right now wasn't an option. It was then that he felt her head on his shoulder and Tsukuyomi moved his arms down wrapping them around her torso and holding her tightly.
"It's alright Vesta it's alright. Nothing that happened was your choice." Tsukuyomi's mind was rushing past possibilities how could he help Vesta what could he do. Everything that he thought of was relatable to himself as well. Just like her he was afraid of his powers and hated them. There was only one way to make sure that their powers wouldn't cause unwanted destruction anymore. Tsukuyomi also was clashing with his allegiance right now. It took him about thirty seconds to speak again. "We'll both learn to control our powers. I'm going to stay here and protect you."

Vesta only realized after what she said that she had been truly speaking from the heart. She didn't want her father to find out about this and she honestly didn't know what to do anymore. But, the thing that surprised her the most that she said out loud was asking if Tsukuyomi had to go back and leave her alone. She didn't mean to say that out loud. It was the truth. She didn't want him to leave her. She enjoyed his company too much. When he started to soothe her again, she felt a blush start to color her face. So far, he didn't say anything about it.
Then, when he said that they would both learn to control their demon sides and that he was going to stay here and protect her, she actually got giddy on the inside. She would get to see him everyday and they would be able to hone their demon powers together. She felt Zorn coming back and knew that he had heard everything that he had just said. Zorn walked up to them, stopped about two feet away, and glared at Tsukuyomi. He felt offended that he felt the need to protect Vesta when he was around. Tsuki would never see it, but Zorn wasn't leaving now.
Vesta nuzzled into his chest, her blush growing, trying to stay calm, but the happiness inside her was bubbling almost out of control. She was so happy. After the nuzzle, she moved her head up again, pushing her forehead against his and looking him in the eye. She pushed gently, so their foreheads and noses touched. "You don't have to stay just because of me. I honestly figured you would just say no. I know you have duties to Soul Society. I'm just a friend, at least that's what I get from you. Is a friend worth you leaving what you know for?
Or, Tsukuyomi, do I mean more to you than a friend? Honestly, to me, I just know that I look forward to seeing you everyday, looking for you when you aren't here in my free time. When I do find you, I get so excited, I don't know what to do with myself. I get sad when you leave because I never know when I'll get to see you again. I've never had this kind of feeling with anyone before, and it confuses me. Though, I just run with it, because it's not hurting me. Do you have any idea of what I'm talking about Tsuki?"

Being so close to Vesta was like nothing else that Tsukuyomi had ever felt in his life. There was just nothing else that could compare to how Vesta made him feel. Since the death of his mother he had had a pit I his stomach and when he was with Vesta it was like that hole just felt shallow. As Vesta moved her face closer to his own Tsukuyomi just tried to keep his breathing and body under control. He hadn't ever been this close to another person besides his mother and never in this kind of manner. When he felt her nose touch against his he really knew how close they were together and he began to blush uncontrollably.
Well it seemed that Vesta knew that Tsukuyomi had duties that he had to do whether he wanted to stay or not. He thought for a moment and even though he was more fond of Vesta then anything else he could think of the image of Captain Kimiko glaring down at him make the young Shinigami gulp in freight. "Vesta I don't really know how to put it into words. You're my friend, but I care more about you then anyone else I know. I'd do anything for you and would be hurt if anything bad ever happened to you."
"You're right that I have duties to Soul Society and at the moment I don't have a high enough rank that I can just leave whenever I want too. I'm going to do my best to grow strong enough that I can have more free time to come visit you. While I'm gone do your best to get strong." Tsukuyomi began to hesitate, but just as he began to move awhile Vesta would feel his lips press on her forehead and then watch him turn around. All of a sudden a Senkaimon gate appeared in front of Tsukuyomi as he walked in that direction. "I'll be back as soon as I can Vesta." Tsukuyomi then walked into the open gate and returned to Soul Society.

When Vesta put their foreheads and noses together, she noticed that Tsuki was blushing pretty bad. It made her smile. It seemed that there might actually be something happening, but she had never really felt this way about anyone outside of her family. She waited until he spoke again. He then said that he didn't know how to put into words how he felt. He said that she was her friend, but, and there was a big but, he cared about her more than anyone else that he knew. He would do anything for her and get hurt if something bad happened to her.
Her eyes got bigger at that statement. She had a feeling that he felt that way. He continued saying that he did have duties and couldn't leave Soul Society whenever he wanted. He didn't rank high enough for that yet. He was going to get stronger so he would have more free time to come and visit her. He then mentioned that he wanted her to get stronger while he was gone. She lightly nodded, since their foreheads were still touching. Tsuki slowly started to move away, and Vesta was getting the feeling that she always got when he was getting ready to leave.
But then, something else happened. He turned around and before she knew what he was doing, she felt his lips on her forehead. The action made her freeze in place, with eyes wide. He turned around and said that he would be back as soon as he could and left through the glowing gates again. She was frozen, watching him leave while she thought about what he just did. He kissed her. On the forehead. He left and then a huge smile spread across her face. So, he liked her too. The kiss made that obvious. She slowly started to walk back home, smiling like an idiot, still feeling the warmth of his lips on her forehead. She was going to need to talk to her dad about him now.
