It took just one meeting for these two to become friends. One meeting changed their lives forever, and neither one of them regretted it in the least. Shizuka found a new companion, a close comrade. Hebika was someone whom she could confide in and care for. Ever since their first encounter, Hebika had been staying with Shizuka at her humble abode. They slept in the same bed, of course, as Shizuka warned Hebika that she was a fierce cuddler. It was comforting and Shizuka loved it. She enjoyed the company that Hebika brought and the supportive nature. They got along great and Shizuka even dragged her along to her classes a few times to just sit and be bored while learning about engineering.

Unfortunately, all of that happiness drifted away over time. Hebika was leaving more and more, going strange places and never telling Shizuka anything about it. The human wanted to follow her snake friend, to find her again, but she failed every single time. Nothing was bringing them closer and all she felt for a while was sadness. She wasn't sure how to deal with the sudden loss of someone she held so close to her heart - literally - for weeks upon weeks. She was afraid she would have to let go of something she never wanted to lose and it frightened her. She just didn't ask questions, though. She didn't want to impose or cause problems. The truth was, Shizuka felt bad. She didn't want to be rude, but she really wanted to be with her friend again.

More recently, Shizuka was on a short break for a few days and didn't have to attend classes. She was sitting at home, peacefully relaxing while watching some My Little Pony and obsessing over Rarity, her obvious favorite. She loathed the fact that she didn't have anyone to talk to. Shizuka had friends and all, but they were mostly from school and her busy schedule with Xcution made having outside relations pretty difficult. Friendships weren't friendships. They were mostly colleagues, if anything. This bothered the girl and she wanted nothing more than to have her little stuffed animal friend back again. She sighed, realizing that this wish was most likely not coming true any time soon.

She laid down on her back as her eyes started to flutter closed. It was only the late afternoon, but Shizuka had been up late the night before trying to interrogate some random guy for Xcution. She was glad that they sent her on these missions because it meant that she got paid, but they really had no regard for how jet lag worked. Shizuka was not immune to such a thing, especially since she was almost always sleepy in the first place. As she began thinking about her day and life ahead of her, Shizuka began slowly drifting off into a soft slumber. Semi-vivid dreams began transitioning by, covering her subconscious in exciting adventures. She woke up every now and then because she was startled, but she quickly closed her eyes once more and kept on dreaming.

Oh, how she wished she could curl up with Hebika again...

Initially she didn't exactly remember precisely why she'd started venturing out. She loved being around Shizuka for one, and to be quite frank it was simply her....restless nature in her tiny little body. She hated being still, being....useless. For many many years she'd played stuffed animal for a child, and as lovely as that was she had always hated having to pretend. But with Shizuka she didn't have to and as such she just...sort of....walked around more. Of course she couldn't walk WITH Shizuka. Seeing a walking talking snake going beside the gal would have landed her in the nut house no doubt, and she would have lost her only friend. Of course....that wasn't all. 

She was too attatched, or rather too.....nervous. Being around Shizuka was just insane. The woman was just so....lovely. She had to be careful, and her own fears of rejection and loss had simply...persuaded her to be a bit more absent. That is until....she'd gotten it. It being the thing she had wanted for so long, even with having received such a surprise unexpected gift from that shady man, to test this body. She had immediately gone to the gym and as such had....sortof vanished for the better portion of the day. With a little money borrowed from one of the other gym member's bags she'd gone and gotten herself showered up and a new set of clothes. IT was just so great, she actually completely forgot about her issues with Shizuka. 

It felt natural, light, and it was so free with motion. She could punch, kick, bite, headbutt. She felt so much less....constrained. And best of all the body felt natural so she barely even thought about it when she made her way back to Shizuka's home, noticed the girl lying in bed, seeming to be dosing off before smiling, dropping her bag next to the bed and slithering in next to them, nestling into the sleepy gal, not realizing that from Shizuka's perspective, some stranger had just flopped into bed with her.


Soft blonde hair that cascaded down to her shoulders, braided over her chest and down along the front of her sternum. Not necessarily short, only barely shorter than Shizuka, but certainly not tall, and a body that screamed subtle athleticism, a gymnats's body that almost had that serpentine flexibility. Not to mention that calm, smooth look in the woman's eyes as well as that ever-subtle aura of hers. In a way, Hebika DID scream "Hebika", but even so, it didn't matter that Hebika was still herself, she hardly looked like the tiny snake she once was, and all the charm in the world was probably not going to save her from the misunderstanding that was about to occur.

Shizuka was in a light napping state where dreams were occurring but she was still easily startled if woken up. Actually, at this very moment she was dreaming about some odd alternate life where she could breathe fire and had a raven-like bird companion. It was strange to her, seeing as she could not normally breathe fire. The beast that could was still her companion, but instead of a raven, she was a dragon. The dream went on, flowing into some random story where Shizuka had to fight her sister and light the oil in her sister's den on fire to draw her out. The more she thought about this, the more Shizuka realized she was dreaming. Once that realization happened, the dream transformed into something entirely different from what it was before.

Now she was laying on soft sand at some beautifully warm and secluded beach in the Caribbean islands. The water was the brightest blue she had ever seen and the weather was wonderful and sunny. Everything about this was perfect, including the cat laying next to her that talked to her about possible activities they could get involved in during their stay. Shizuka groaned, not wanted to get up from her perfectly warm sand nest. The cat pleaded with her, saying they should do something fun before the sun set and they had to go inside for the night. If they didn't go inside, the sharks would come out of the water and start trying to hunt them. Perplexed, Shizuka rolled over and grabbed the fluffy animal, pulling it closer to her in a soft cuddle.

In the real world, Shizuka was making soft mumbling noises as she almost began to talk in her sleep. During her dream cuddle, she actually reached out in reality and grabbed the unsuspecting Hebika within her arms and pulled her in closer. The large effort put in to moving a physical being compared to a dream cat started to wake Shizuka up completely, startling her as she realized that someone she had never met before was laying next to her in her bed within her embrace! Her eyes shot open and she sat up in barely a second, scooting as far back as she physically could to distance herself from the stranger. This was incredibly confusing and she had no idea how this person could have even gotten in to her house in the first place, let alone her own room!

"W-w-w-wait! Who are you and what are you doing in my room?" Shizuka said, pointing a shaky finger at the girl.

She inspected the figure, realizing she looked just around her age, if not a few years older. She was serpentine in appearance, striking Shizuka's memory something fierce. She couldn't for the life of her understand why this girl looked so familiar even though they had never met and it was incredibly frustrating. Her eyes darted all over the place, mostly focusing on looking over the body of the person sitting in front of her. She seemed small, but not much smaller than Shizuka. She had light hair, making Shizuka feel a bit better because people with lighter hair tended to be nicer. She was a little biased, though. She was blonde, after all. Everything else about her just kind of said that she was a normal human, but Shizuka knew better.

She had no ability to tell what someone was and could not sense anything particularly special about them. She had to analyze them and figure out if she could see anything spiritual and figure out if they weren't just any average human. Unfortunately, this girl radiated an aura that spoke to Shizuka, telling her she had some abilities she was hiding. Well, not hiding per se, but probably something along the lines of just not showing them. Shizuka tilted her head in confusion, wondering just what was going on. She was peacefully asleep and in her wonderfully strange dreamland when this girl showed up out of no where and surprised her! Nothing was making sense.

"Um, I'm sorry for freaking out so much, but I seriously have no idea who you are or why you're here! This is all so weird..."

Hebika's smile simply widened a little as the woman subconsciously put their arms around her and pulled her in, brows lifting slightly as she entertained the thought of Shizuka simply sensing that it was her right off the bat. She relaxed, gladly leaning into the woman that had pulled her in, right up until those soft eyes of theirs suddenly popped open like soda cans and a very amusing, not to mention frantic, scramble to get away from her ensued and she enjoyed the sight of Shizuka looking so surprised and shocked. Thankfully she hadn't pulled her fullbring on Hebika, she could be glad of that at least, so at the very least she wasn't in any danger of having anything dangerous squirted onto her face. 

Relaxing, she took a brief moment, smiling warmly at Shizuka as the woman seemed to scan her, and she lounged a little, showing off just a tad, quite proud of the form she had so been bestowed as at long last the girl apologized of all things. Pleased, she promptly allowed her spiritual pressure to gush out, washing over Shizuka and bathing the woman in a VERY familiar warmth as that incredibly positive pressure of hers would almost seem to smother the anxiety in shizuka. (Light Aura 95) MEanwhile Hebika leaned in and reached out, lightly placing her hand on the younger woman's shoulder, a soft chuckle escaping her with a voice as smooth and warm as it was familiar. "Well well well. Here I go through the trouble of getting a new look and you hardly recognize me." She noted coyly, pausing to think before she gave another smile.

Leaning in, she let those brilliant yellow eyes look right into Shizuka's, a private look if there ever was one, before very gently, she'd lightly bump her nose into Shizuka's, calling back to when she had accepted Shizuka's proposal to let Hebika live with the woman, and signaling the beginning of their time together. "For what dreams we may but reach for, I kept mine close to heart. That I might have shed my rubber coils, and instead hold you in my arms." She mused poetically, additionally further referencing her previous form, but not outright saying who she was, trusting in their relationship to bring the answers to her companion.

As startled as she was, it didn't phase her for one moment that this person could potentially be incredibly dangerous. She had a certain look to her, one that was both familiar and foreign. It was shocking, to say the least, to have someone like this practically invading Shizuka's precious home. This was her sanctuary, her place of calming, the very room where she had her own spirituality and relaxation to take comfort in. But just as she was starting to relax, this stranger had the audacity to intrude! Well, she thought stranger, but there was seriously something about her, something simply far too relative for Shizuka to outright ignore. But it wasn't just inspecting the girl that gave her the knowledge she needed. It came to her the most when she began to speak.

"Well, well, well. Here I go through the trouble of getting a new look and you hardly recognize me."

Shizuka began to feel calm again. She wasn't sure why, but she felt incredibly relaxed and immediately stopped freaking out over the intruder who was sitting in her bed. She felt the warmth of love and care cascade over her, completely washing away any worry she previously had. This was nice. Shizuka never felt something this nice before. She knew what love felt like and enjoyed it, of course. But this was different somehow. It was something that was beautiful and friendly and just all around comforting. Shizuka sat there, looking at the girl who smiled at her, not being able to hold back a smile herself. Still, she couldn't quite place who this person was. She seemed intent on knowing Shizuka, though.

Just then, the girl looked at Shizuka with eyes so familiar. She leaned in delicately and touched her nose against Shizuka's own, sparking a fond memory that had been developed over the previous few months. It was a memory of when she and her precious reptilian friend met and she offered for Hebika to stay with her at her house instead of a disgusting abandoned apartment somewhere in the middle of who the heck knows. After a grateful acceptance, Hebika began a new chapter of her life as Shizuka's closest friend. Slight pain washed over Shizuka for a brief moment as she remembered the time apart and how she thought it was because Hebika hated her. But as soon as the memories stopped replaying in her mind, she began connecting the dots.

"For what dreams we may but reach for, I kept mine close to heart. That I might have shed my rubber coils, and instead hold you in my arms."

Rubber coils? Wait a minute... "Hebika?!"

Shizuka smiled widely and practically leapt forward to hug the girl as tightly as possible. She began nuzzling her cheek against Hebika's pretty intensely, physically showing just how much she missed her friend. She even kissed Hebika's cheek, blushing a little bit after realizing what she had done. She got over the embarrassment soon enough, though, and continued hugging the now-human-snake she had come to be so fond of. She had no idea how Hebika even became a human, now that she thought about it. Last time Shizuka saw her, she was still a small snake toy. Was that how Mod Souls worked? It was honestly all a bit confusing. Shizuka pushed the questions aside momentarily and nuzzled her nose against Hebika's once again.

"Where have you been all this time? You never told me where you were going and you kept leaving in the middle of the night! I'd always wake up and you'd be gone, sometimes for days. That is, until you just stopped coming back... I was so scared that you hated me! Is everything okay?"

She knew she was being a bit invasive, but she would be lying if she said her feelings weren't hurt at all. She felt abandoned and hated, absolutely HATED the thought of loosing friends. It was one of her biggest worries because she truly treasured each and every relationship she had. Then when she got particularly close to Hebika, it was especially hurtful to see her leave all of a sudden. After a while, Shizuka tried to tell herself to ignore it. She figured Hebika was going away on some mission or something the way Shizuka did sometimes or anything along those lines. Honestly, they were all just ways she could make herself believe she would see her friend again one day. But as soon as she started to give up, Hebika shows up again out of no where in a human body!

"I know my questions are a bit rushed, and if you need time to rest you can absolutely have it! But, uh, why are you human now?"

Now wasn't that the million dollar question?

Hebika was just as surprised when the woman suddenly had thrown themselves into her arms, a smirk playing across those soft lips before se gave pause in response as Shizuka leaned in, turningher head to see what she was doing before lips touched her, having caught the kiss perhaps not where the woman  had originally intended. But that did not bother her, she was quite pleased actually, that smile widening slightly as a hand drifted up and lightly ran along Shizuka's cheek, a chuckle escaping from her as she lightly canted her head to the side, those playfully curious eyes delving into the fullbringer's own hues. 

"I do apologize, I have been enduring some...restlessness as of late. I was frustrated due to....circumstances. I confess, being around you and being constrained to that form, it was maddening at times." She noted calmly, lightly running her fingers through her hair, smoothing it back as she leaned in and gave a gentle roll of her shoulders. "But I assure you, you'll not be rid of me so easily now." She noted, that smile returning as she gave a light reciprocation of the gesture Shizuka had so offered the woman, quite content with their close proximity before pulling back and slipping her hoodie off, doing a proud flexing of her muscles as she displayed her athletic body.

With the hoodie gone she was left in sweatpants and a sports bra, giving plenty of room for the woman to view the very light tone her body had to it, as well as her general shape. Giving a little athletic spin before lifting a knee, her other foot then snapping up, almost touching the ceiling as she kicked almost completely vertical, looking as though she were doing a standing split, before at long last that foot dropped slowly and that beaming grin refocused upon her friend, clearly just gushing with enjoyment at her new form.

" It was something a bit experimental, but suffice to say I was given this body. It's not a true human body, of course for all intents and purposes it is. But it i technically a gigai, an artificial body that are usually used by spiritual beings so that they can rest in the world of the living and fit in among humans. Allowing them to interact and not have to be isolated from contact during missions. We mod souls were actually designed to inhabit gigai."' She explained, opening her mouth, letting her tongue hang out just a bit as she pointed to the back of her throat before returning to her explanation.

"My actual 'body' is in fact a tiny pill that is swallowed. I was put into that snake toy you saw me in before. It was the most....subtle form I could use to hide from shinigami in my weakened state. However, by taking my pill from the snake's mouth and putting it in the mouth of the gigai, or really any human body, I can usually eject whatever soul is using it and take control of the body as if it were my own. Of course I cant use any of it's abilities, but I have my own powers as you'll remember. In fact we Mod Souls were altered forms of 'Soul Pills' Which Shinigami use to eject themselves from their physical bodies in order to fight." She explained, giving Shizuka some time to adjust, leaning in and lightly nuzzling the woman before clearing her throat.

" If you like, I'd very much like to show you why I've been gone the past few days, as I've been a bit...occupied in enjoying this new form. No powers of course. But... if you didn't mind...." She trailed off, lightly reaching in, running a finger along the underside of Shizuka's chin, grinning. The woman clearly much more confident in her new body now. "And of course, answer any of your questions you might have in the process, I know I owe you as much at the very least."

Shizuka watched as her friend showed off her new athletic build, obviously quite proud of what she's become. In fact, Shizuka was proud of her, too! With everything that had happened to her, Hebika deserved to have something nice like this to show off and be happy about. Besides, as confusing as it was that this little snake was now a human, it was exciting and new! Nothing made Shizuka more enthused than seeing someone so close to her get something they desired for so long. Now she could really blend in with other people instead of being just another toy. Hebika explained what the body was and how the term "gigai" came into play, a word that Shizuka had never heard before now.

Apparently, souls could be ejected from their original bodies with these pills. That seemed strange and Shizuka had never really been told stuff like this. It was all very new to her, so she was trying to soak up as much information as physically possible. Actually, the thought of seeing herself ejected out of her own body was a bit tempting and she could tell that Hebika wanted to try it, too. Shizuka thought to herself briefly on the effects of such an advance and if it would hurt her. She couldn't think of any downsides, and she figured it was worth a shot. Hebika nuzzled against Shizuka, reaffirming her calmness and allowing her to feel safe with her friend. She decided she would see what the fuss was about.

"If you like, I'd very much like to show you why I've been gone the past few days, as I've been a bit... occupied in enjoying this new form. No powers of course. But... if you didn't mind..." Hebika ran a finger along the bottom of Shizuka's chin, causing the Fullbringer to blush heavily. "And, of course, answer any of your questions you might have in the process. I know I owe you as much at the very least."

"I absolutely don't mind at all! I think it would be pretty cool! I just wished I knew what would happen to your own body. Would it disappear? Or maybe not... Wow, this is already confusing me a bit!" Shizuka said, chuckling.

She knew it would be worth it but she couldn't find the nervous feeling she had in the pit of her stomach. She knew nothing of other races until recently so all of this information was a bit shocking to Shizuka. She wanted to accept it, though, since this was who Hebika was before and continued to be now. The body was different but the voice and personality was all the same. The only major change was the fact that she was even more confident now than she had been before, but Shizuka knew that it was rightfully so. She hated the idea of living like a pill for her entire life so she could only imagine how constricting it could really be. Shizuka sighed to herself and gently brought Hebika into a tight hug, placing her right hand on the back of her head.

"So, uhh, how exactly does this work?"

Shizuka pushed Hebika back on to the bed and positioned herself on top of her friend so that the two could lock eyes and Hebika could see the excitement shining in Shizuka's. She was really interested now and she wanted to be able to try something new! It was a little scary, but that was just because Shizuka had never done something like this before. She laughed at herself thinking that this whole thing could practically be compared to a girl losing her virginity. She felt silly after thinking that, but it was true! Well, sort of. That experience is a bit more intimate. Shizuka blushed again, darting her eyes away from Hebika's. She hoped that Hebika wouldn't notice her awkwardness, but she may notice it anyway. Oh man, I can be so awkward!

Hebika didn't know what she'd expected, when she had offered to show the woman the body she'd forged. In her mind she'd assumed the woman would pick it up as a sort of demonstration, as she had, really, intended it to be an offer of a spar. And yet, suddenly, she found herself gently pushed back, landing on her elbows with her roommate slightly ontop of her, eyes opening in the most sudden of silent alarms as Shizuka leaned in so close, into her personal space, and really it almost seemed like she was trying to smother the mod soul with her affection. She took a brief moment to pause, staring up at the woman before that smile softened. She certainly hadn't expected this type of reception to her new form. 

She had considered the alternative, thinking, before suddenly it occurred to her. The girl wanted to try her out? She'd asked what would happen if she left her body. So the woman wanted to see what would happen if she swallowed Hebika's pill? The woman paused, taking a moment to consider how it would be that the pair of them would  do this. And after a brief moment of contemplation she actually realized what it was that they'd have to do in order to test this little theory out. 

She leaned back, her shoulders hunched slightly as she smiled up at Shizuka and gave a slow nod. There was, technically, no reason NOT to show the girl. And they could always spar afterwards, given that the little experiment shouldn't take too long. A quick in and out. Though she paused, realizing that if this worked she would, temporarily, be inhabiting Shizuka's body, and shizuka would be ejected. It would certainly be an...interesting experience to say the least. Smiling softly she reached up, gently slipping her hand behind Shizuka's head as she leaned up.

"Well, if that's what you want to try. You'll have to swallow my pill. So....well... the simplest way to do it....." she trailed off, shrugging her shoulders a little as she leaned in just a bit closer. It wouldn't be weird or anything so long as they didn't MAKE it weird. Right? At the very least it was in the name of curiosity as, admittedly, she'd been designed for even powerful shinigami to use to eject them from their soul. Reasonably speaking ejecting Shizuka should be easy. Theoretically. As after all shinigami were not so intimately connected to their Gigai. But they'd see now wouldn't they? 

With a light sigh, she smiled up at her fullbringer friend, leaning in and speaking a bit more softly. "Don't use your teeth, and remember to swallow." She instructed, as being chewed to death....well...was impossible. THANKFULLY her pill was not so frail that it would shatter from being chewed, but she sure as fuck didn't want to try her luck. In any case she would bring herself up and lightly pull Shizuka down to her as she locked lips with the woman. She wasn't going to lie, it was pretty nice. The gal was nice and soft and she had to focus not to get too distracted as she would use her own lips to part the woman's, and then do the thing she always did. It was not so much a motion as it was a... flex. A little internal mechanism that she used to force her pill up without the stomach heaving to do so, just a little climb up the throat before that little sphere that was Hebika would roll along the gigai's tongue and into Shizuka's mouth.

From there things would get, thankfully, a whole lot less awkward. Once inside and swallowed, that little pill of hers would settle in and work it's magic. There would b the briefest of delays, where Hebika's new body would slump into the bed and go quiet, alive quite obviously, but just asleep it would seem. Shizuka would likely feel a slight....push, as she was promptly shoved out of her body, Just as Hebika would pause, blinking as she found heself staring down at her Gigai Body, pausing for a moment as she pulled back, wiping her/Shizuka's mouth before she glanced over her shoulder to see how Shizuka was handling her new spirit body. She herself unstraddling her Gigai as she paused and began testing shizuka's limbs. the girl certainly was much more limber than she appeared. "You alright?" She'd ask, sounding somewhere halfway between herself and Shizuka.

"Don't use your teeth, and remember to swallow."

"You know, if what you just said was taken out of context, it would be so inappropriate."

Shizuka laughed at her own joke a little bit, half ignoring what Hebika was explaining. She was a bit caught up in the strange advances her friend was making, wondering what exactly she meant by "swallow." Mod Souls were artificial, right? So the small pill that contained their life force had to be transferred somehow. Does that mean it has to be swallowed? Well, that could be okay. Shizuka was fine with swallowing a pill since it seemed to harmless. She'd never seen it done before or anything, but she was willing to try just about anything to see what this would be like. That way she could finally have some questions answered and everything would start making sense!

"Well, jokes aside, what did you me--"

Shizuka was immediately cut off when Hebika pulled her down and forced them both to lock lips. Shizuka's eyes widened dramatically and blinked a few times during the brief few seconds that their kiss lasted, completely caught off guard by what was happening. She thought Hebika was just going to remove her pill somehow and give it to Shizuka to swallow but this was a bit different than her original thoughts! It kept getting more intense, though. Shizuka's mouth was gently forced open (although she helped a little bit, it wasn't like she minded) and Hebika's tongue entered. She was, admittedly, a little bit surprised at what her friend was doing. Almost reflexively, she cupped her hand against Hebika's cheek and kept her close until the pill was swallowed. Her own actions startled her a bit as she realized what she was doing. However, she didn't care all that much. Afterwards, Hebika's body slumped back against the bed and Shizuka gasped heavily as her soul was separated from her physical body.

She watched as her own body readjusted its position over Hebika's limp gigai and became much more relaxed. Shizuka was sitting at the edge of the bed behind her physical self, thinking how odd it was to watch her body move and stretch when she wasn't in it. She never realized just how long her hair was, either. That may need to be trimmed a bit soon. And were people as surprised as she was when she saw her eyes in person for the first time instead of looking in the mirror? The bi-colored irises were a bit dramatic but also very unique and beautiful. Shizuka began feeling a little conceited as she saw herself through another angle, something she never believed to be possible. It was then that Hebika's voice - er, was it her voice? - broke Shizuka's mind babble.

"You alright?"

"Alright? I feel a bit lighter. It's really weird... But other than that, I think I'm okay! I just don't feel bound to much anymore, is all."

She stretched her arms, trying to make sense of the whole feeling. She knew she was herself and felt like herself, but she was looking at her body being used as a host for someone else. It was a little stressful and confusing, but she was trying to learn how to get used to it. The biggest thing she wasn't sure about was if she could touch things. Did this mean she was a ghost or something? Well, Hebika could still see her even though she was in a solid form and Shizuka was more of just a spirit. Shinigami were mostly just spirits, too, right? So that meant Shizuka could still fight and use her powers! Well, that's what she hoped. She really wasn't sure about any of that right now.

She tried standing up, a bit surprised by how easy it seemed to be. It wasn't as if she felt weightless, but more like she just felt stronger since she was no longer bound to physical limits. She smiled and laughed, looking over her body. She looked the same; didn't feel like a ghost and didn't have a translucent appearance. Yet, she was so excited to be able to experience something like this. She assumed this meant that normal humans couldn't see her if Hebika could, especially since she figured it would be the same deal as it was for Shinigami. Unless she had a gigai - or in her case, her own body, - she couldn't be seen by others. She attempted to pick up a book that was lying on the floor and saw that she was able to, realizing she had all the abilities she had before in her physical form. That was a bit relieving!

"So I guess I'm not a ghost, huh? Okay, that's fine. But non-spiritual humans can't see me, right?"

Shizuka glanced back over at Hebika as she asked her question, pleading for an answer. Once she got a few mysteries solved, she wanted to try to spar so that she could explore how it was to use this kind of body. She'd never fought herself before, of course. She knew her own strengths and weaknesses and assumed Hebika had all of them now. Shizuka grabbed Hebika's hand and pulled her out of her room and down the stairs, sneaking past her family in the living room. Even if they had noticed Shizuka, it wouldn't have mattered. Hebika could have just imitated the right voice and it would all be fine. Once the both of them were out the door and in the yard, anyone passing by would think Shizuka was just practicing her own techniques. Besides, if it got too bad, there were woods and a nice open area that they could go to.

"So! What should we try first?"

Hebika would have been a liar if she didn't admit that the kiss was pretty nice. The feel of Shizuka's tongue lightly sliding against her own for that briefest of moments, as much as she expected. But what she hadn't really expected was for the woman to go along with it, somewhat kissing her back and even seeming to encourage the contact as a hand gently reached up and was placed agaisnt the soft of her cheek, holding their lips together. She wasn't entirely sure how to respond as she had not the slightest idea as to Shizuka's sexual inclinations, but for the time being she simply pushed all that out of her mind, at least for now as she was, briefly enraptured in the brief terror.

It was always scary. Leaving the body she was in, whatever that body happened to be. For the briefest of instants she was just in her pill form, and she was...well...defenseless. Sure she was nothing easily destroyed, designed to resist biting, chewing, and stomach acids, but even so one could just as easily spit her out and keep her trapped in pill form. She truested Shizuka to do no such thing, she knew it was a silly thing to worry about with her. But she couldn't help that brief snap of fear as she moved. Until at long last she had spread into Shizuka's body. 

She was quite amused to see the woman's reaction to her bodylessness and even her own eyes wandring over the newly-inhabited body that Hebika had so borrowed. Smirking childishly she promptly reacted to the woman's stare, running those slender fingers along both of her sides and along Shizuka's body's hips,, giving her own tush a brief squeeze, surprising herself when she noticed it had it's own firmness. Shizuka had a surprising layer of muscle under there, but she supposed she really shouldn't have been so surprised, the woman was a fullbringer and probably fought hollows rather regularly. Even so, she was not as....jiggly as she had assumed. "Hmm.. firmer than I thought." She blurted out loud, staring off to the side for a bit as she slowly reached up to the chest. She couldn't help herself. 


Once that little bout of childishness was done she was, quite promptly pulled to her feet and rushed out side, barely snagging her gym bag on the way out. Pausing a moment as she adjusted to her new height, as well as the slight difference in build, though they seemed to have astoundingly similar body structure. In any case with them both outside she paused, brushing herself off for a moment and cricking her neck, a slight smile on her face as she gave a light chuckle, rolling her shoulders as she ran her fingers through that long, blonde hair. "Right right, well then, let's make our way to  somewhere more secluded hm?" She noted, leading the way. Of course once they arrived at that little clearing she'd turn and smile toward her sparring partner.


No more self-exploration. Rather she took a moment to flex, setting down the Gym bag she'd snagged along the way and proceeding to change out of Shizuka's clothes. She certainly didn't want to get them dirty. She changed into one of the clean changes of gym clothes, a set of sweatpants and a sports bra. She paused for a moment as she adjusted, noticing that the pants were a tad loose, untying the string to the waistband and retying it to make it firm and secure. In any case she took a deep breath, flexing her arms as she began to hop from foot to foot, throwing a few light jabs before executing the beginning of an axe-kick.

That left leg rocketing up until she practically did a standing split, that knee of hers pressing to her chest as she promptly slashed a pinecone a good five inches above her head, knocking it to the ground as that leg would snap back down, pausing as she noticed that Shizuka was perfectly limber for Taekwondoe, a grin spreading across her features as her attention shifted to Shizuka. "Right then, now about that spar~ Shall we find out what it's like to kick your own ass?~" She crooned. Whomever won this little exchange, it would really be shizuka in the end that suffered the damage. Her spirit would carry over damage once she returned to her body, those ontop of whatever Shizuka inflicted on Hebika while in her body. Of course, she'd find that all out later.

In any case she promptly got into a proper tiger stance. With her fists at her sides and rotating her right foot slightly outward as she stepped forward with her left foot, allowing only the front pad of the foot to touch the ground while her heel was slightly elevated, a stance derived from the motions of a tiger, thus the name of the stance, as she waited patiently, those sharp eyes watching the woman closely as she waited for them to make the first move in this little exchange.

"Right then, now about that spar~ Shall we find out what it's like to kick your own ass?~"

"Kick my own, huh?"

Shizuka had no idea that fighting herself was going to be a lose-lose situation. Even if she won against Hebika, she would harm her own body. If she lost, the injuries she received in spirit form would transfer over to her actual body. These specifications didn't cross Shizuka's mind, though, because she didn't really think about it. That never occurred to her. As soon as she figured out that it would effect her badly, she would have to come up with another plan to avoid hurting herself as much as possible. Unfortunately, some injuries were going to be inevitable. However, she was going to figure that out eventually, somehow. Until then, Shizuka smiled at how her friend was posing as she prepared for their little spar.

She wasn't one to really set herself up in any position, unlike Hebika. She had no major martial arts training and taught herself everything she knows. It can be good and bad since she can use that to throw off her opponents, but she isn't really the best at responding to particular attacks. She analyzes her opponent's movements and counters with what she knows based on that. Hebika was going to be a bit difficult to fight since she had actual martial arts training that was, admittedly, quite foreign to Shizuka. Regardless, she was going to do her best to defend herself against such a distinct form of fighting. It worried her, though. She knew Hebika could counter quite a few of her attacks.

The Fullbringer looked over at Hebika as she stood still, considering what she could do as an initial attack. The thought process took mere seconds in real time but so many ideas passed through Shizuka's mind. As if taking charge of her own spiritual body now as she made the first move, Shizuka ran towards Hebika and grabbed both of her hands, fully unaware of any harm this would cause herself in the long run. After she grabbed Hebika's hands, she spun her around and picked her off the ground briefly before flinging her about twenty feet away. Once she was distanced, Shizuka braced herself and ran as fast as she could at Hebika, hitting her shoulder against Hebika's chest.

Hopefully the act of flinging her away would give Hebika pause just long enough for Shizuka to run at her with as much force as she could exert. Unfortunately for her physical body, it would also cause some bruising to eventually show up due to the impact of something so hard as a bone on a shoulder being smashed against her ribs. If all went well, Hebika would be knocked against the ground and Shizuka would be standing over her just a feet or two away, enjoying how it felt to be in a spiritual form. Sadly, the celebration wouldn't last as long as she wanted once she gained her physical body back and realized how much pain she was going to cause herself.

Hebika's eyes narrowed, thost soft lips curling into a smile as she noticed the brief hesitation in Shizuka, noticing as they seemed to pause, analyzing her for the time being. No doubt she knew she'd probably have to use her powers to be able to keep up with the woman, and her theory was confirmed the moment the woman started bucking it towards her, her ability to focus on the woman's actions comming in handy, her mind already noticing the shift in the woman's stance as they started moving. Within the first few moments she could see the woman was much faster than her, painfully so in fact. But it was physical speed. She could see the woman perfectly fine. She could react. Even if the woman could cover more of a distance than her in the same motion, it did not mean she was completely helpless. As Shizuka barreled towards her, she focused, a soft rumble sounding as a thin....something ripped it's way out of the ground like a scaly whip, wrapping itself around Hebika's leg before winding up and around her waist. She personally didn't need to be as fast.

The moment that the incoming fullbringer reached for her hands, she shifted on her back heel as the whip-like snake of fused rock and earth suddenly arched it's body, swinging that leg up much faster than she could have in a powerful rising heel, aiming to snag the incomming spirit with her heel, in hopes of stunning the woman before then dropping that heel directly onto the woman's shoulder, of course avoiding the clavicle, as she hardly wanted to snap the woman's bones. If she succeeded she'd have likely stopped the chain of events that Shizuka had planned, though it was entirely possible that this pair of blows, even if it did connect, would not stop her, in which case Hebika would find herself flung up and into the air, wincing a bit as she corrected herself in flight before the spirit-bodied blonde would launch themselves up at her, that snake slithering rapidly along her skin to wind around the woman's chest, offering only solid rocky coils for the woman to slam into, absorbing much of the sharp impact, though the momentum would still slam Hebika into the ground, skidding her back.

{Scorpion Snake}

Even if the snake could aid her in the speed of her kicks, it would do absolutely nothing for actually allowing herself to move her entire body around as fast as shizuka. She would be able to defend with plenty of speed, but so far as attacking she likely would not be able to do so directly, and she was, of course, not going to send one of her little ones at her for a ranged attack. This was a spar after all, and she was only using Scorpion Snake to ensure she didn't wreck Shizuka's body. Although... She paused, grinning for a moment as she waited, watching Shizuka again, this time biding her time. She was hoping for the gal to come at her again, prepared, waiting like a sprung trap. In that brief exchange it would have become abundantly clear that whilst Shizuka was much faster, she did not have Hebika's reflexes. Meaning that like so many that had speed outmatching their own perception, if she made rapid reactions or obstructions during their rapid movement, she would be able to trip her up and surprise her. One's awareness of the environment was typically blurred when going fast, as one focused on the destination and the path between them and it.



So, she waited, hoping for Shizuka to race towards her once again, and once she did, Hebika would unleash a palm thrust, though at a considerable distance, that snake racing along her borrowed skin to wrap around her arm and then lance outward, a soft mental 'Get over here!' going off in her mind as that viper would shoot out, keeping it's tail wrapped around Hebika's arm as it would shoot out and aim to wrap around Shizuka's neck. OF course, the fact of the matter was that shizuka was stronger than Hebika. Not by a whole llot, but by enough, if she simply tried to reel her in by yanking, it would certainly fail, so instead she had her snake yank the weaker of the two, launching Hebika at the fullbringer with foot raised in an aided flying kick aimed for Shizuka's torso.

[Shizuka Sanamizu ✮]

Unfortunately for Shizuka, her plan was sabotaged by Hebika's quick movements. She didn't anticipate her use of her powers at all, and Shizuka was honestly not very familiar with these abilities. So instead of keeping the offensive the way she originally planned, Shizuka had to defend herself against Hebika's heel as it came crashing down. At first she was stunned when the rocky serpent assisted Hebika's heel in raising itself quickly. She barely had time to react, but she was able to watch as Hebika lifted her heel and respond. The only logical follow-up would be for her to bring it back down to hurt Shizuka, so she reacted accordingly. Shizuka crouched down slightly and raised her arms up in a crossed position so they would hold just above her head, blocking the attack from hitting its intended target. She winced a bit and couldn't stop her arms from being knocked down briefly since the snake made the attack much stronger than it would have been otherwise. Still, she managed to avoid getting her shoulder hurt.

During Shizuka's time of recovery from the previous attack, Hebika managed to get some distance between the two. This was partially Shizuka's original intention since she wanted to fight mostly hand-to-hand and found it was easier to just run at her like a football player. However, she got this outcome a completely different way from her plans before so she had to reorganize and think of a new strategy. She considered her options once more, deciding it would still be worth it to charge at the woman. It was a decent shot and Shizuka could at least stun her a little and pin her down, calling the fight as her win. Sadly, though, as she ran towards her opponent, Hebika expected it and countered properly. She shot one of her snakes out in Shizuka's direction as she ran, catching her off guard as it wrapped around her neck.

Shizuka thought for a moment that she could just escape, but she wasn't being suffocated or anything. It was more like a strong grip. When she felt a slight tug on the other end of the snake's body, she realized Hebika was flying towards her with her leg stretched out. Analyzing the situation as much as possible, she realized this snake acted as a bungee cord-type of thing where its purpose was just to bring Hebika towards Shizuka's direction. Shizuka side stepped to the right to move just enough so that Hebika's foot wouldn't make direct contact with her body. This left a huge opening, though. Shizuka caught hebika's leg within her arms and gripped it against her side with her left arm as she reached out and grabbed the woman's ankle. This way, she couldn't kick at Shizuka anymore due to the restricted movements.

As she grabbed the other foot, Shizuka would slide her hand down Hebika's borrowed leg, keeping it squeezed up against her side as much as possible. Once she reached the ankle of this leg, she gripped it as much as she could and swung the woman outward, making sure she kept a distance between her own body and Hebika's hands. With her grip, she gathered as much momentum as she get and sharply turned towards the left, allowing Hebika's directional movement to aid in the attack. From there, she would stretch out her arms and swing Hebika over her own body and down to the ground, smashing her body face-down into the dirt. If this worked, she would continue to hold on to Hebika's ankles and move her body around quickly to sit on her, facing the direction her legs were pointing. This made it so that it would be harder for her to move and Shizuka could respond accordingly if she needed to.

Hebika's eyes narrowed as she watched Shizuka blocking her heel drop, but noticing that she had managed to inflict soem damage, satisfying her greatly as she had so managed to at least inflict some pain on the woman, those eyes focusing further as she continued with her asault, a bit of adrenaline pumping through her as she realized just how awesome a human body was. She had never gotten this excited in her gigai, so this was her first experience with adrenaline and it was... for lack of a better term : Fucking awesome.
She could feel as if her perception was getting even better, her muscles getting even more responsive, and her body pushing itself even harder. It was truly marvelous. 

As she flew toward Shizuka for the second attack, she was hardly surprised when the woman sidestepped, though she did notice those hands reaching for her leg, eyes narrowing as she relaxed, allowing the woman to grab hold, and in the same moment, the whip-like viper around Shizuka's neck clamped down, enough to cut off the woman's airway as Hebika was slammed into the ground, knocking the air out of her before that shapely posterior settled itself ontop of her, trapping her beneath the woman's butt. Sadly her entity would have no ability to free herself directly, the only real thing she could do was try to choke out her sparring partner and.....well... appreciate the view. 

Throughout the entirety of the spar, she had to admit that it was super nice to fight Shizuka. IT wasn't as if she had anything to stare at but the gal, and at the same time inhabit her physical body. A pretty sweet deal either way. So whilst the Scorpion Snake was busy choking her out, she slid underneath Shizuka, pushing her hips up as she attempted to lift her free leg and hook it around the woman's neck. She didn't know just how strong Shizuka was, only that she was stronger than her, but in either case she attempted to crank her leg down and slam the woman face-first into the ground. Of course this meneuver relied on Shizuka's seat to be closer to her chest than her pelvis. If the woman had sat down more toward her lap then she'd need a different stategy. 


In the event of such an orientation, she would instead lift her torso up, using the arm that was not busy holding Scorpion Snake to hook up and under Shizuka's armpit to try to get the woman into a half nelson. This would make things tremendously easier as she would aim to crank the woman's head to the side. She was not very into wrestling, and honestly had only seen a few of the guys at the gym at one point, but she HAD seen this hold and it certainly had appeared to make the recipient very uncomfortable. Hopefully it would persuade Shizuka to relinquish her seat.

[Shizuka Sanamizu ✮]

Shizuka didn't expect Hebika to really use her snake to actually choke her. So when she felt the coils wrap even tighter around her neck, she panicked and flung her hands up on the body of the snake, gripping it tightly to try to pull it away. Unfortunately, the snake was much stronger than Shizuka was, so this was a losing battle. All she could do was slide her thumb between the body of the snake and her own neck to make room and allow air flow. Breathing still wasn't easy, but she wouldn't suffocate now. She felt Hebika start to try to move underneath her, so Shizuka focused her Spiritual Pressure immediately and applied Gravitational Pressure to Hebika, forcing her to stay down against the ground.

She didn't apply full pressure. She knew enough to where if she did, her own physical body would be destroyed. Instead, Shizuka applied just enough to make it very difficult for Hebika to get up at all. This meant she wouldn't be able to move any part of her body without resisting a great amount, too. Since that was taken care of, Shizuka got up off of Hebika and tried fighting the snake off her neck. She pulled as much as she could but she just couldn't get the snake to release its hold on her and her strength just wasn't enough. Tears started falling from her eyes because of the strain the snake was putting on her, but she had an idea. She hated having to do this, but she genuinely couldn't find another way out.

"H--Hebika..." Shizuka struggled to speak through the choking. "If you release me... I-I'll let you go..."

Shizuka threatened her a bit as she flexed more of her Spiritual Pressure and caused a slightly more intense gravitational pull towards the ground. She was worried about hurting her physical body, but Shizuka hoped Hebika would be merciful. She couldn't think of a way to get out of the snake's grasp without harming herself somehow, so she was really at a loss for words. Both figuratively and literally. Shizuka fell to the ground as she struggled against the snake but tried desperately to keep her thumbs against the reptile's body, pushing it off her own throat so she could breathe. She didn't want to end the fight like this, but there was no way she'd get out of this. Hebika had outsmarted her this time and used something that greatly beat her opponent in strength.

Shizuka gasped once again. She was able to breathe, though barely. Yet she still smiled to herself, proud of how much Hebika had grown in the time that they knew each other. Her powers were amazing and she really knew how to use a gigai, whether it was purely hers or not. In fact, this would be an excellent way to kill someone if she could manage to get herself inside another body. Shizuka knew it would be difficult to fight herself because she was worried about hurting her physical body, and she knew the Gravitational Pressure she was applying definitely wasn't doing her any favors. Still, she tried to keep it at a level that would cause Hebika pain and not damage her body too much.
