The Olympus system lies on the outermost edge of the Calixis Sector, in Imperium-controlled space. Notable amongst this sector is the Forgeworld, Daedalus IV, a producer of many of the Imperium's great war machines. Notable for its production of the powerful Shadowblade tanks, this Forgeworld is an important cog in the Imperium's workings. And every cog in such a vast machine must continue to work smoothly. However, Daedalus IV has recently begun to experience a series of rebellions. Whether through traitors or heresy, such a force cannot be permitted to take control of such a vital world. Thus, the Inquisition has opted to send a group of Acolytes to investigate....
Daedalus IV gleams like a fiery red gem in the distant sky. As your transport ship, the Eye of Terra emerges from Warp space, the various barriers and screens over the windows that kept you from observing the raw energies of the Warp unprotected, lower, allowing you to gaze once more upon the beautiful starry skies of the Olympus system. Your destination gleams ahead of you. You have been briefed on the basic details of the mission. The Forgeworld, Daedalus IV has been suffering from a series of rebellions. You are to root out the cause, and eliminate it, in the name of the Holy Inquisition. Thus far the rebellion have not seemed to have taken hold of the greater population, though little information has been forthcoming as to their movements.
Aboard the ship are three individuals.
One of them, Lanric Hupstedt, is adorned in the robes of the Administratum. A flak helmet rests under his arm. Though difficult to make out beneath the flowing robes, is a laspistol, a warning that he is not helpless should someone choose to assail him. He is surprisingly fit for a member of the Administratum, with tan skin, black hair and green eyes. He is noticeably taller than the other two individuals present.
On the other side of the room, stands Maria Lucifuge. Her face is hard, offset by her mousy brown hair, and eyes. She is quite short, but wears the uniform of an Arbitrator of Gunmetal-- one of the more dangerous and notorious Hives in the Calixis sector. A shotgun rests on her belt, clearly deterring an attempt on her life.
Lastly, stands Aar-ek Vol. His face is quite youthful, and bears the look of simply regal bearing. A man who has had a relatively easy life, compared to his comrades on this assignment. His appearance is striking with blonde hair and golden eyes, and skin as white as snow. His build suggests a man who certainly has yet to miss a meal, and he bears a fine looking staff in his left hand. His apparel suggests a member of the Ecclesiarchy.
Although all three of you know each other's names, you have not been informed of much beyond that, besides that you will be completing this mission together.
