Thread Title: Impo vs Takara Participants: Impossible, Takara World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: An island off of the coasts of Japan Special Conditions: None Circumstances: Impo has suddenly abandoned Uzaki Enterprises after the disappearance of Kitai Yoru, both of which have not been seen for months as of now. Takara is determined to find one or both of them in an attempt to either have them join back, or kill Kitai Yoru.
Impo sat back on a stone chain, at the lip of his mountain cave, watching the sun rise across the vast ocean. Impo was alone here. He couldn't hear anyone, nor could he sense them. He felt at peace with the loneliness here. He had come to this island to think about his life up to this point, to try and reflect upon all that he's done. He wasn't stranded here, he doubted there was any place that could detain him for more than a few minutes, but he was separated from everyone else. He leaned forward, palming his eyes with his hands. "What am I doing with my life...?" He asked himself.
He was weighing everything he had done until now. Every fight he's had, every life he's helped, every job for UE he's gone through. How much good had he done? He couldn't remember anything past a few years ago, and he had been violently denying that aspect of himself. He kept telling himself everything was fine, that he was the right one, while everyone else was just wrong or dumb. It hurt to lose that mindset. He let out a heavy sigh, as he leaned back into his chair.
Killing that insane monster had forced him to rethink a lot of things. He didn't hesitate against Kitai, he knew he couldn't if he wanted to end it. His instincts wouldn't let him stop. Kitai was dangerous, not only to him, but to the world at large. He wanted to destroy for the sake of destroying, and Impo wasn't going to let that happen. And because of that... He took his life. He frowned. Now he knew how far he was willing to go to protect someone. He was willing to risk everything to save someone, to save countless people pain and suffering.
But was that too far? He killed someone, took their life because of crimes they haven't committed yet. Some reflection let him realize that he had a disturbing trend when he starts losing fights. For years, he rejected the reality of what he was, calling himself human. Yet, when push came to shove, he was more than willing to use his unstable body to kill his opponents. It was scary that every time, Impo would kill himself, refusing to accept a loss, or just fleeing. What was wrong with him?
As he sat there, head in hands, he stopped suppressing his reiatsu. He was a far enough away from the mainland that he felt safe enough to just let loose. He came here to try and calm his evershifting emotions, to help his inner turmoil settle. He needs to relax. He sighed again, and started walking down the mountain on an airground stairway. He wouldn't let his depression keep his from eating. Or more accurately, his instincts wouldn't let him. He might have to do something about that eventually, they might be the source of a lot of his issues.

Setting foot on the island was something that Takara wasn't all that happy about. This was another one of the track them down and handle them requests from Kazura that seemed to only ever be asked of Takara. She understood the logic in asking her as her heightened senses and ability to sense reiatsu was certainly developed it enabled her to find almost anyone so long as she had somewhere to start from. It was one of the reasons why she was slowly beginning to find the other Mod Souls. Right now though she had to take time away from aiding her children in order to aid Kazura a human when he needed her to track down a former member of UE a Failure by the name of Impossible.
Takara hadn't ever really met Impossible, but she had read a file on him and knew that he was supposedly sporadic and unpredictable with a powerful flood and a preference for both Hollow and Shinigami techniques. As soon as she set foot on the island Takara closed her eyes and extended her mind outwards trying to pick up the frequency of a spiritual entity and sure enough right on the island only a few miles away was who she assumed to be Impossible. "Next time he's going to give me an easier way to reach whoever he wants me to get." Takara began to walk across the island towards Impossible wishing that she had someone to drive her yet happy that at least she wasn't wearing her heels.
In fact Takara was wearing a different attire for this assignment. The typical dark violet dress and high heels weren't adorning her figure today instead the Mod Soul was covered in a loose fitting dark purple shirt accompanied by a pair of matching sweat pants that were tied at her waist. Her dark long hair was tied back into a high ponytail and her feet were covered in purple sneakers. The only piece of her normally worn attire on her besides her natural beauty that couldn't be overlooked were the matching twin necklaces that adorned her neck. This was perhaps the least classy attire that Takara had ever worn with the exception of sleeping attire.
30 Minutes Later
Takara had been walking for awhile now, but it would only be a few more moments until she came face to face with Impossible who from what she was sensing hadn't moved that much or from the spot that she had originally sensed him at. What she could sense easily was that his reiatsu was incredibly potent and if a battle between the both of them broke out she wouldn't be able to hold back all that much without risking herself. He was certainly impressive when compared to the majority of reiatsu that she sensed, but based on his file that would be the only impressive thing about him.
When he finally came into view he was sitting on what appeared to be a stone throne. Takara had to do all she could to stop the need to either laugh out at him or kill him right now for such an arrogant unfounded position for someone such as him. He knew nothing about ruling over others. Sitting on a throne wasn't a privilege or a right it was a responsibility and one that she had been given from her father to the rest of her people. "Impossible I take it. Kazura would like to speak with you."

He had sensed her approach a while ago. He had been hoping that it wouldn't involve him, but he supposed that life was never that kind, especially to him. He could have left before she arrived, could have done that easily with a Garganta. Such a useful ability it was. Still, he might as well see what she wanted with him since she went through all the trouble to make her way over here. She sure took her sweet time though, probably walking over here. He sighed. He wished he hadn't slacked off on his energy sensory training, if he hadn't, he could have gotten a clue on what she was like.
'Well... maybe if I focused...' His face twisted slightly. Nah, that would feel like cheating. It would be like spying on someone in their soul. It was creepy, and could probably be considered illegal. Oh well, he could just wait here then. He wasn't hungry enough to go down to the water and fish. Impo smirked. Lightning made for quite the fishing rod. Still, waiting ten minutes sitting in a rocky throne wasn't the most pleasant thing. Still, gave him some more time to watch the sun rise. It was beautiful in a way that couldn't be copied. So many colors, so peaceful.
And then the person was here, standing ten feet to his right. He didn't take his eyes off the horizon yet, waiting for them to speak up. He wasn't disappointed, as they did so a few moments later. Or, rather, she did. She knew my name, addressing me as Impossible from the start. She wants to take me to Kazura. I turned my head slightly to look at her with one eye. My eye was an empty purple, but it wasn't blind. She was a pretty woman who looked like she had better things to be doing. She was dressed in an excessive amount of purple, making him raise his glowing eyebrow in slight amusement.
I looked back towards the ocean in an act to seem arrogant and dismissive. "You're wearing an awful lot of purple for a messenger. You have to be careful with how you dress, it's generally a tell that shows off your ego." He said, his voice sounding bored, with a noticeable ring of amusement in it. Definitely enough for the mod soul to notice, especially with how perceptive she was. He stayed there in the chair. She might not know it, but he was defended, regardless of how it seemed. "So, do you actually know what Kazura wants, or did you walk all this way to try and force me to follow?"
He had a slight laugh to his tone, making it clear he was laughing at her. He didn't think she could do anything to him. Impo wasn't perfect, nor did he claim to be. He considered himself a good person, but he had his faults. He knew he was someone powerful, or at least had a great deal of raw power. He tended to get an inflated ego from time to time, with now being one of those times. He flared his reiatsu strength, creating a pressure over the island, and Takara. The pressure made Impo seem horrifying, and scared all the birds off the island, making them leave to anywhere else. "Because I doubt you can force me to do anything, b*tch."

By the time Takara managed to get up to the location that she could sense Impossible at on this island the minutes had passed into the double digits and she could tell that although she went walking periodically throughout Karakura more so out of boredom than exercise she might want to start doing it for the latter more. Her gigai wasn't particularly strong not just from lack of her own strength, but from lack of development which although she specialized in distance combat could still prove to be a problem in the future and one that she could easily fix in the present. When she saw the Failure that she had been sent to speak with Takara could tell why he might have left UE. Sitting on the stone throne fashioned on this abandoned island was such a motion of pride for someone so obviously lacking in insight.
This was definitely the Failure that she had been sent to speak with though. She had been given a picture showing her what he looked like and although his hair and eye color didn't match what she had been shown in the picture she could still tell that it was the same entity. A Failure shifted colors something that all spiritual individuals should know which would make sense to why his features were different now than whenever the picture had been taken.
Takara had been able sense the strength of Impossible's reiatsu from the moment that she arrived on the island and although she had kept a constant focus on it while traveling to meet him at the moment she only focused on his appearance allowing his reiatsu to fade into the back of her consciousness where it would only be brought to the forefront of her mind if he were to cause his reiatsu to spike in preparation of use.
Takara allowed Impossible to speak although his physical actions of only giving her half of his attention and then completely looking the other way with disinterest made Takara feel that perhaps torturing him as punishment would be justified. She still had to at least try to get him back to Kazura though if she wanted to keep utilizing Kazura's resources though. "I don't care what you do. Go see Kazura or don't I've done what I was asked to do."
Takara began to turn around ready to start the walk back down to the boat once again. Part of her really wanted to simply accelerate her speed in order to hurry this day along, but doing so could cause some issues on this island while in heels. Takara wasn't the least bit interested in what this Failure did until he spoke again that is. When he flared his reiatsu Takara although suppressing her ability to sense reiatsu still felt like someone was pushing down on her temples.
It seemed that this Failure was looking to push his longevity. The laughter that left him caused Takara to turn around and face him once more a cold stern look over her face as she started at him while taking in all of the surroundings. It was becoming obvious that he was looking to prove himself not to her, but to Kazura. The arrogance of this Failure. He had blatantly called her arrogant only a few moments ago which Takara had willfully ignored yet here he was now claiming that she couldn't force him to do a thing.
The island was going to receive a makeover it seemed. Connecting with the Omega Arsenal Takara manifested two separate weapons from the era of the American Civil War. One looked to be a simple musket rifle positioned five feet to Takara's right side aimed to fire directly at Impossible where he sat. The second weapon was what appeared to be a cannon ball launcher like from a pirate ship or battlefield. This was actually easier to see as it was positioned five feet above Takara. Instantaneously from being manifest the weapons fired.
A single bullet was sent flying towards Impossible's chest from the musket with a force of 250 at a speed of 350. The cannon ball wasn't sent flying towards Impossible though. It was sent above striking the rocky side of the mountain above them at a speed of 300 with a force of 500 causing rubble from the wall to descend downwards where it would strike down on Impossible if he didn't move. Whether or not he did move though Takara would be ready it was time to reveal to this Failure what someone who truly say on a throne could do.

Takara, it seemed, was far easier to manipulate than he realized. Easy to anger, and quick to prove her worth, Impo was able to pull her stings like a puppeteer, and goaded her into attacking him with next to no effort on his part. Honestly, a part of him had hoped that it would be harder to do, but he supposed the 'how' didn't really matter, only that it had happened, which it indeed happened. The artificial soul manifested two seperate weapons, both being guns of some sort, Impo had never really been a major weapons guy, so he really didn't know what exactly they were called.
Still, he wasn't dumb. Guns meant that she liked to fight at long range. Two loud bangs were heard, as two shots were fired in different directions. It mattered little where they were aimed though. Impo gave her a smirk, as his slightly raised hand charged up the easily recognisable ability. "Cero." He said, something that the Mod Soul would probably be able to hear, before a booming noise overtook all other sound in the area. Impo was a powerful failure, even if he had yet to reach his potential.
Even still, his Cero was massive, more than enough to consume and destroy both of Takara's bullets. It didn't stop there though, as it bulldozed through the cave, as it headed straight for the well-dressed woman. Impo used this time to stand up, and dusted himself off, not looking at all worried for her. She would be fine. Even if her body broke, her pill would be strong enough to survive the attack. He doubted it would wound her though, seeing as she could probably dodge it. Using his decent energy sensory, he searched for her location.
Where Takara was a strategist, using the environment to her advantage, Impo was cunning, manipulating his opponent into unfavorable conditions, much like this one. The cero destroyed much of the cave just now, taking away any cover the woman might have to use against him, while Impo could power through her abilities, given how weak she felt in comparison to himself. He had to be mindful of his reserves, sure, but he had more than enough tricks to get him through the fight, especially if she was as brash as he thought she was.

Well she had sensed it long before she even reached the island and sometimes while this Failure had still been in Karakura at the UE building. He definitely possessed strong reiatsu which Takara had known was going to be an issue if a battle between the both of them began. The simple issue was that this Failure had a mouth and simply didn't wish to return to Japan. Insulting someone like her when she had in truth done nothing to bring about the insult was not something she could turn a blind eye towards.
She had known not just that the strength of this Failure's reiatsu was might yet that her weaponry from the Era that she had manifested them from wouldn't be able to do anything if he was able to counter them. The cannon ball as well as the bullet that had been fired off from the rifle wouldn't succeed. Takara could feel the flow of this Failure's reiatsu spike and based on the level that it went up she could tell the magnitude of the technique that he was channeling to use against her.
The speed that he was able to channel a cero with though was rather impressive. It wouldn't be enough though as Takara executed Caelumintro which was actually rather strange for Takara to give ground yet even she knew that the size of this cero was to much for her to block with any of her weaponry. She could break through the cero easily that much she already knew yet doing so while so close to the Failure wasn't advisible.
The massive red beam of reiatsu would rush through the cave and out its mouth soaring through the air across the island. To anyone that watched from the outside it would actually look like the cave itself had just breathed out the beam. Takara was now outside of the cave and in fact above it several meters. This brought an idea to Takara's mind. "Damn if only I had enough time to learn that technique right now would be great for it."
Alas she would have to make due with the Omega Arsenal like almost always. The cero would die down and Takara would reconnect to the Omega Arsenal this time on a much more grand scale. "Well I suppose I should watch out for myself." Takara had almost forgotten to take the appropriate step to make sure that she didn't hurt herself almost as much as this Failure with her next attack. Just like that though Takara wouldn't be able to hear anything as she shut down the sense manually.
Afterwards a large World War Two looking bazooka would be manifested above Takara an additional few meters which then was fired downwards at the top of the cave. Upon impact was what anyone who knew what a bazooka was would expect. The massive explosion of orange and red coloration and heat as the impact blasted the top of the cave. Destroying the cave though wasn't what Takara had in mind.
The cave was strong enough to stand up to what she had just used against it yet the tremors that it had sent through along with the might of the explosion were the true attack. As the cave around this Failure would start to collapse inwards around him. Takara knew that if the Failure were to die then he'd explode yet would the cave be an effective shield or would it be torn through like wet paper.
Only time would tell her if the Failure didn't succeed in getting out of the cave or protecting himself. In truth Takara believed that this Failure would likely be fine otherwise Kazura wouldn't have sent her after him yet because of that she was paying close attention to where he might be and what he might do. It was obvious that this Failure possessed more powerful techniques than the typical cero. The question was though why had the Failure decided to be an asshole to the messenger instead of Kazura.
