Thread Title: Show me what you Got Participants: Ajraka Kuchiki, Luke Clyburn World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: A recently obliterated forest. The entire place has trees filled in ridiculously tightly, in every direction for miles is just trees barely a few meters apart from eachother. However due to a recent battle, a massive cut swept through, severing everything more than 10 meters tall, creating a massive flat surface that spans a good section of the forest, making the entire battlefield one big series of platforms. Each tree is about 2 meters thick. Special Conditions: Circumstances:

It was just another run to the human world, intent on getting some supplies. Namely food and the like, things had been a little scarce for her crew. Sure most of the Sands were well stocked, but she was a part of the wanderers, and with their infrequent visits to HQ, it was every now and then that they had to restock in the world of the living or even soul society. This was one such trip.
As her crew, or at least the human members of it, were off retrieving supplies, Ajraka herself was surveying the land, with no lack of disappointment. A massive ammount of trees had been chopped down. It didn't take her long to deduce that it had probably been at the hands of some spiritual fight. A lot of those had been happening as of late, and not just in soul society but the battles were spilling into the world of the living now.
She was....not sure how she felt about it, especially seeing the sheer scope of some of these battles. Then again, with her own strength, she wasn't surprised too much. She was by no means the strongest around, but even so, she was a testament to how quickly a particularly determined person could grow in a short amount of time. Her father had certainly seemed to realize as much. And that was the key. Guidance. Someone to make sure that those springing into the newness and the fervor of their new power would go down a...proper path.
Perhaps a more focused presence in the world of the living was necessary? There was so much that she could offer after all. She had been taught so well by her father, adopted as she was. Of course, she didn't really think about what sort of effect her spiritual presence might have. She was not quite...THAT deep a thinker. She was focused, driven. But not thorough. She had led a good many souls to a life of virtue. Why not bring that same attitude to the world of the living.
As if on cue, she sensed someone off in the distance, those sensitive ears perking up as she began to look to the west. Someone had probably sensed the spiritual presence of her ship. She really probably should be more careful, but well...her strength, as well as the strength of her crew, did come with a sort of lenience. She was used to not having to be careful after all. She decided not to bother telling her crew to wait up for her, in no time the ship had cloaked itself, but she remained, and made no attempt to hide her spiritual presence. For now, she wanted to see who it was.
"Will you shut the god damn fuck up??" Luke barked, out loud, for once. It wasn't often he spoke out loud when talking to his Dolls. In fact, it meant that someone had done something to piss him off. Well, the culprit wasn't that surprising. "Why you gotta get so mad?? I'm just trying to get to know my Master better.." Jäger whined, almost like a little girl, which only served to further grow Luke's irritation at the Doll. "Bullshit. You're just wanting to troll." Luke responded as his feet touched the grassy flatlands that would soon turn into forest. "That's not true at all. I just want to know if you think it's gay to have sex with a futa." "Yes it's gay! They have a dick, Jäger!" Luke growled, stopping for a moment to try and end this argument.
"But they're a girl. How does it make it gay?" Jäger asked back, trying to hide his snickering. "I'm going to kill myself." Springflut groaned in the background. The second Doll had the right idea. Luke was thinking the same thing if it meant not having to listen to Jäger's stupidity anymore. Regardless, Luke decided to just erect a mental wall between him and Jäger, despite the Dolls protest, and get back on with what he was doing. The wind pressed gently against his face. The cold night air felt good against his skin. Thankfully he'd brought a jacket just in case it got too cold or started raining. But it was a clear sky night. The stars and moon were on full display out here where there was no light pollution.
I know I felt something out here. Luke frowned as he stretched out his Energy Sensory again to try and get a reading on what he'd just felt. It wasn't something like a girl being chased by Hollows. Instead it had felt like one big signal with lots of smaller ones mixed into it. What had gotten him to hit the emergency brake on the bus, and get threatened to be banned from said bus, was the fact it felt like a Hollow. Tapping his Zanpakuto, Luke scanned the horizon of trees for any sign of anything. Whatever it was it was hiding. Well, Luke had a knack for sniffing out things that were hiding thanks to his training with Aevus.
Focusing even sharper than before to find that energy again, Luke stretched his awareness to the very limits it could go ahead of himself. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe he felt a Hollow fart? He wasn't sure really. Maybe he was just wrong about this. But as he began to pull his awareness back, he suddenly felt something. A ping. There was an energy source! Well, wait, hold on. It wasn't a Hollow but...what? What was that? It felt like someone was just...out here in the woods at night. Okay, granted, so was he but he was being responsible and looking into a possible big ass Hollow. Frowning, Luke opened his eyes back up and stared ahead in the direction of where he felt the energy from. Just what had that been?
"Going to check out?" Springflut asked. Luke could tell he was curious about what Luke had sensed as well. Yeah. If it's trouble I should look into it. In case someone gets hurt. Luke replied, before reiatsu kicked in his legs and the Bount vanished with a gust of wind. Travelling through the forest with his speed wasn't hard. And as he moved through it he didn't fail to notice the condition of the trees. Had a fight happened here? He didn't know anything about it, but he wasn't sure if it mattered or not. Breaking the tree line, Luke had the moon to his back for a moment before he descended through the air before landing on one of those cut down trees.
The Bount rose to his full height, and decided to just get a look at who he...what. What. What? The Bount blinked before just going...wide eyed. What the fuck was that? What the fuck was that?? He'd expected to find a person standing here in the forest not...not a..."Is that a human sized rat?" Jäger asked, his voice dripping with interest. Was Luke...looking at a furry? Was this some dude, or chick, in a really good fursuit? Luke wasn't about to interrupt a yiffing session was he. The nerves and composure he'd built up just moments ago was all gone. He was just...staring at Ajraka. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?! Luke screamed in his head. "How the fuck would I know??" Springflut replied just as confused. "LUKE IT HAS TITS! TIIIIIIITS!" Oh god Jäger was right. OH GOD NO!! "Uh......hi?" Luke finally commented just...waving a little at Ajraka with his single, right, arm. "Is...that a suit or...?"

Ajraka leaned down, the spill of her bust very clear in Luke's view as suddenly, she was no longer a few safe meters away, or more along the lines of the 10 meters she would have allowed before closing the distance. Without even the tell-tale signs of a step Ajraka had simply seemed to blip into Luke's personal space, a bright, warm smile on her face, though she was hardly Zaluu. She did not have a warmth radiating from her. She seemed...very neutral. Almost hard to tell what she was thinking. A sort of quirkiness about her that kept one guessing as she gave a merry laugh.
"Hmmm, Fullbringer? No...bount. Yes the smell of Gigai too. You're quite the connected young man." She noted with a fond look on her face, tapping her foot as she stood upright, towering over Luke, certainly challenging Jager's assertion of 'man' sized. Not only that but she was rather shiny. Her entire body was sleek and oily, making every aspect of her form very emphasized by the shine. "I don't usually get humans who can see me. You must be quite the fascinating little man! And do not be alarmed. I am....friendly, yes? Kawaii as you humans say." she chortled.
She waved a hand. "You are here because you sensed hollows. Don't worry. My crew are just enjoying the air. I decided to check in on the area." she noted, turning and eyeing the cleft trees thoughtfully. "I did not know that the world of the living had become a battlefield as well. I do hope that you have not been the cause of all of this." Even with her back completely turned, her tail moved in a blur, lightly bopping Luke on the nose, so gently that he would have no idea how truly strong she was. She was incredibly good at holding back her strength after all.
A glance over her shoulder, looking Luke up and down. "Oh yes. You asked question. Suit!" She exclaimed, smiling as that powerful tail, as long as she was tall, whipped around herself, cracking like a whip at a solid 150 speed, superhuman to say the least as she then looked back to him with a smirk. " I prefer not to wear any suit. Unless it's for a special occassion. My father always insisted I wear a dress. I do not mind though. Ladies all liked me! Well, until I grew in." Her eyes briefly dipped down to her own chest, shrugging once again before she looked to luke.
"Do you prefer suit or a dress? I have a few of my crew who say man in the world of the living wear both." She inquired, now curious, clearly having misunderstood the question.
That sudden burst of speed caught him by surprise. Normally when people moved that fast there was a detectable amount of reiatsu being used, since normally only a Step Technique let someone go so fast. But nope. One minute the thing was there and the next it was right in his face. Even though a smile like a puppy dogs greeted him, Luke still leapt backwards out of instinct. From the tree trunk he came skidding to a stop, eyes wide with surprise. He instinctively reacted to her. He didn't make the conscious decision to move backwards. It had been his body moving on its own. "Calm down there skippy." came Jäger, but Luke was distracted by the creatures rather merry laughter.
He blinked. She could tell he was a Bount? How? Was it how he could tell the races of people by the feel of their reiatsu? Or was it something else? It was an animal. Did Bount smell different from normal people? And Gigai? Wait...did she mean Taka? Luke only knew what a Gigai was after having it explained to him by his landlord. A skin suit, or false body, developed by Shinigami so that they could interact with the World of the Living. Luke had seen them before Taka had given him that explanation. Yetsuna had used one once before. The oversized creature continued talking though. He couldn't help but note the broken english and the accent. Did she just call herself kawaii? Luke asked, with a hint of entertained disbelief. "Well she is pretty cute."
"So this makes two animals you want to fuck."
As the two Dolls began to bicker, Luke noted that Ajraka said that she was friendly. That she didn't normally get humans who came and saw her. "Crew?" Luke asked, softly under his breath, when she mentioned just that thing. What did she mean by that? Luke also just decided to start referring to her as her, instead of it. The tits, hips, and voice were all give aways that she was a woman. A woman...what...though was the question. Turning his attention to the surrounding forest when she mentioned it, Luke finally decided to talk. "Not sure where you've been...but there's always been a lot of fighting. Especially in the city. But no. I don't know what happened here." Luke replied with a shake of his head.
Well, then the conversation got off topic. "Uh...I'm a guy so a suit. Guys in suits and girls in dresses. But that wasn't what I..." Luke started to say before shutting his mouth. "Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuke!" Oh no. "Do you know what this means?" Please don't. "Furries are reaaaal! We need to let the world know!" No. No we do not. "It is destiny for man and furry to yiff. Accept your new goddess." God damn it. "Oh for the love of fuck Jäger put it away!!" Oh no. "Oh come on Springy touch it!" Aaaand the mental wall just went up.
"I was asking if you were some weirdo in a suit. There are people who like to dress up as animals and yiff themselves into a coma." Luke said, clearly uncomfortable with the thought of people in animal suits doing stuff like that. "You're obviously not that. Just, like, what are you? And what're you doing out here?" Luke finally asked the important questions. He could still hear Jäger harassing Springflut. This was going to be...a very long night.

Ajraka was rather amused at Luke's response, at least in terms of his expression as so very obviously it was a bit of a struggle for his mind to wrap around what she was saying. "Yes, I'mwhat you human world dwellers call a Pirate." She noted with a bright smile, chuckling a little as it was....technically true. They had ships, and often they acquired supplies from...well just about wherever they needed it. Sometimes stolen, sometimes bartered, all of it to support the racial diversity of their home.
She did pause, and for the first time, Luke would see an intelligence not belied by her speed, those brows would lift slightly as he explained what he meant by suit and she rolled her eyes just a little at that. And then she smiled. And for the first time since their little encounter, she let her lips peel back. Most people didn't know what an otter's teeth looked like. And Luke certainly would find out once she did so. "I most certainly am not. If you're asking what my species is, I'm an otter. But my race is that of a beast. Shinigami call us Beastclansmen." She noted in a much more...formal tone. That Kuchiki upbringing shining as her speech became so much more clear.
"As for what I'm doing out here. If you like I could tell you. But I am curious as well. I have a few bount in my crew, but I've never met one as young as you. If you don't mind I'd like to have a little spar with you." She noted softly, stepping forward and then bending down, that grin widening as her tail arched up in the air. Unlike a human who would have to put their palms on their knees, her tail worked as a perfect couterbalance, her arms staying right across her chest, meaning Luke would see quite a bit of cleavage as she moved down to his level. "I don't expect you to win. This is hardly going to be a constest. But I just want you to show me what you've got. And from there If you've done well, I'll tell you why I'm here." She noted with a bright smile.
"Eh?" Was how Luke answered Ajraka when she said she was a pirate. A pirate? Was she serious? A pirate of what? Wasn't like they were near the ocean or anything. But maybe Luke wasn't understanding something. No. He was certain he wasn't understanding something about this situation. But besides that little confused grunt he otherwise remained quiet. Finally he received an answer to the question that was really important. Ajraka explained that she was actually an otter. A giant otter in fact. Luke could confess he'd never seen a otters teeth before, and found himself looking at them longer than he should have been. The idea of having those things chomping down on him did not sit well with him at all.
But more than her just being an otter, she was something called a Beast-Clansmen. A name given to her people by the Shinigami? Ideas were beginning to form in the Bounts head. She's from the Soul Society? Does that mean she's a ghost otter? Luke wondered. "Ghost or not, I'm stuck wondering if every animal that dies becomes something like this when they die." Springflut replied. No. It couldn't be. Otherwise we'd have seen more of these things. Maybe some animals just have stronger souls than others? Or have reiatsu while others don't? No fuckin clue. Luke and the Doll went back and forth trading theories, while Luke continued to try and listen to the mammalian pirate.
She mentioned how she had some Bount in her crew. Cool. Okay. Luke didn't really process that or care much about it. But what caught his attention was the comment about his age. But what really caught his attention was what came after it. He blinked. Confusion and surprise clearly painted on his face. "Eh?" He repeated. "Luke look down." Jäger teased. No. "Luuuuuke look at those big fat otter tats!" Nope. Not doing it. "Oh come on don't be such a dick in the grass."
Her comment about how she didn't expect him to win their little spar ended up causing a bit of irritation to form up inside him. Where did she base that assumption from? She was a pretty cocky otter. She enticed him with bait saying how she'd answer why she was here if he impressed her. Luke frowned. Those eyebrows narrowed together into a v as he simply looked at the smiling otter, trying his best to focus on her and not the cleavage she was showing off. He remained quiet as he simply looked at her. As if he were studying her. Like he was analyzing her. After a few tense moments of silence, the Bount finally answered. "Nah, I'm good." placing his hand on his hip as he spoke.
"It's pretty obvious you're not here to cause trouble, especially if some little spar is all it would take to get you to spill the beans. I'm not a fan of pointless fights either." Luke explained with a shrug and a sigh. "Oh come ooooon! I wanna hug the kawaii otter girl!" Jäger was being ignored. "If you do happen to cause trouble in town, however, I won't treat what you'll get coming as a simple spar. So, yeah, good night and good luck with your pirating thing, Miss Otter." Luke explained as he turned away from Ajraka and actually began taking steps back the way he had come. "UH...UH...UHG...UGH...UUAAAGH...NOT FAIR!!"[ Jäger shouted. "Will you shut the fuck up already? Because I swear I will rip your damn arms off if you don't." Luke really tried his best to ignore the two.

Ajraka lifted a brow slightly, as Luke really didn't seem to retain much information about what it was she was saying. That said she was...amused! She did notice his eyes straining to focus on her face and she honestly was entertained. Being such a recent addition she was always fascinated with the effect her new morphology had on those around her. That said she was rather intrigued when he declined her offer. And even more he gave quite the heroic little threat~ Oh it was adorable. He had such a firm attitude about it as well!
In the next instant Luke's face walked right into an oily valley. arms slipping around him as in the span of just a few fractions of a second, she picked him up, hugging him tightly, juuuuust hard enough to pop some of his back, but nothing that would actually do any harm. She then spun, five times in less than a second before finally stopping and grasping Luke by the shoulders and as though she were in a re-enactment of the lion king lifted him up and into the air as though he were a child, smiling.
"Ah you are no fun! Such a serious boy~ Surely you must fight for fun at times yes? A man such as yourself does not get a look like that from only fighting for his life. You do not look nearly as haunted!" She pointed out, her animal instincts very spot on, picking up on Luke's body language. He didn't seem too jittery or twitchy. He didn't seem like the man vicious and ready to kill anything on a moment's notice. Men like that learned to enjoy combat now and then, to keep from growing too bloodthirsty or to think too much about ending lives.
" Do reconsider please? Surely there is some way we can have a friendly little bout? Must I challenge thine honor? Perhaps I could offer something of a bribe?" She asked, that radiant smile still on her face as she lowered him down into her arms, resting him against her chest as she rocked him from side to side. She had to admit he was still absolutely adorable. Acting so cool~ She wondered if he was single! Perhaps she could introduce him to Siji! A man so protective and strong most certainly would make a lovely partner for the poor girl!
Wait what. When did she get behind him? He was quite surprised to find her behind him, and even more so when he was suddenly hugged. He let out a surprised grunt when his feet left the ground and he felt a good few good cracks in his back. This otter would make millions as a chiropractor. Suddenly, though, he was spinning. And it happened. Something happened that hadn't happened in a loooong time. He felt the queasiness of being spinned around. His motion sickness was beginning to kick in. Thankfully it all stopped rather quickly before he upheaved everything inside his stomach all over the otter. "Weak! You need some milk." Jäger criticized.
The Bount found himself frowning with annoyance when he was suddenly lifted up by his shoulders. But what the otter said did make sense. He thought back to his nights in the fighting ring as she spoke. But even then...those fights hadn't been pointless. Luke only really fought on three occasions; to protect himself, to protect other people, and if he had something to gain from it. Fighting in the ring both provided him financial gain and allowed him to test his own powers. Maybe it was also for fun, but Luke did have a reason for doing it. The Bount looked to the side as he considered his options and what she had said. Funny she was the one who said he didn't seem haunted. As far as Luke could tell he was already pretty messed up. Maybe she'd met worse.
His attention shifted back to her when she started talking again. She asked him to reconsider, apparently really wanting to have a spar with him. He was about to reply, denying her request, when he was suddenly pressed against her body into a hug. He could feel them pressed up against him, and the realization of that nearly made steam shoot out of his ears. Seriously, the things and his cheeks went tomato red. No no no no this is weird no no. he mentally murmured to himself as he was rocked back and forth by the otter, all the while he could hear Jägers screeching laughter.
"Alright alright! Just please put me down!" Luke finally replied, desperate to get away from the otter and get her chest off of him. "I'll spar with you for a few minutes if you just put me down!" Luke said again, opening his eyes back up and looking right into Ajraka's face as he said that.

Ajraka gave a bright, winning smile as Luke finally gave in, even after that little bout of incredulity and that period where he seemed to be deep in thought. Oddly it was only when her breasts came in contact that he seemed to be truly convinced, noticing the shift in color that Luke had about his ears and face she paused, tilting her head as she held him at arm-s length, peering at his face before a slow, sly smirk crossed her features. Ohhhhhhh.
She giggled and set him down, her tail curling behind her as she folded her arms. "Would you like to make a wager before we start the fight?" she asked with a bit of playfulness to her voice this time around, quite amused that such a young lad was so effected by her. Frankly she had been somewhat missing the way Raygin had always done similar things around her. Getting all red and huffy. This was nice and...reminscent. She relaxed, letting her muscles wind back down, her speed was effortless, but that didn't mean that those little tricks wouldn't make it hard if she didn't get some rest between them.
She eyed him up and down, aware that this would at least be something of a challenge. If Luke was after some gain than he certainly would find some. Ajraka had last sparred with her father, and done a damn good job of it at that. "Also how long do you want this to last?" She asked with a tilt of her head. He had SAID a few minutes, but that was a bit subjective. Hukkahn would say that a few minutes meant like five. While Cinder, bless his heart, but the man's version of a few minutes sometimes infringed on an hour or so. Especially when he was messing with his clothing.
That said, she was excited to see just what sort of power Luke had. He had been fairly confident about his ability to deal with her just a little while ago. How much should she dial it back? With her crew she always made sure to dial it down considerably, as fun as it was to crush them it didn't do much in terms of letting them learn from their mistakes. Buyt then again did Luke even want to learn? Or was he just interested in trying to take her down as quickly as possible? Or was this truly going to be just a little test of skills? A few rounds of brief exchanges interlaced with backhanded aggressive compliments? Ahh, just like John Wayne woulda done.
In any case she remained light on her feet, her golden eyes focused on Luke as she waited patiently not only for him to affirm the seriousness of this encounter, but also to keep her guard up in case he attempted to start this fight off with a bang. Sure he seemed to have enjoyed a faceful of boob, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be a vicious mite when fighting. It served her no purpose to underestimate him, without a doubt this young laddie was stronger than he looked. Not to mention how strong his dolls might be.
At last. Sweet relief. He was finally put down. It was so demeaning being picked up and treated like a child. He was a damn adult. He was beyond embarrassed about what had just happened. When his feet touched the ground he made sure to take a few steps away from Ajraka, groaning to himself a little as the problems with his stomach began to sort themselves out. He turned his attention back to her when she mentioned something of a bet. He frowned, peering at her incredulously, trying to figure out what she was playing at. "Do it." No. "Oh come on. Live a little. What's the worse that could happen?" Jäger asked. Luke had a few ideas. But, really, why not?
Wasn't like he was going to get to just walk away from this or anything. "Alright. If I win...you...hmm..." Luke began to say, before a clear look of confusion and indecision flashed on his face. Just what did he want? What could she give him? He could hear Jäger snickering when he had that thought. He quickly needed to dash the Dolls hopes. "If I win you don't spin me around like that again." Luke said, resting a hand on his hip as he delivered his bet. But what about her? What would she want from him? He really didn't know. He wasn't sure what he could give her. Jäger was snickering again. "For the love of god..." Springflut complained, before Luke suddenly heard a smack and a slam inside his head. "He hit meeeee!!"
Sometimes Luke wished he was a Fullbringer. Then he wouldn't have to deal with this nonsense. Asking about how long they wanted to spar, Luke thought about her answer. "Until one of us gives up or can't fight anymore. How's that sound?" He wasn't sure how strong she was. But, really, the longer a fight was the more fulfilling it is. He could use this opportunity to learn a bit more about Beast-Clansmen, and gain some experience and insight into his own abilities he wouldn't otherwise gain. He'd make this little spar mean something somehow. Drawing his Zanpakuto, he idly held it against his shoulder as he waited for Ajraka to get herself ready. "Go ahead whenever you're ready. I prefer letting women have the first move."
Post by Ajraka Kuchiki on Jul 30, 2017 14:41:05 GMT -5
Ajraka tilted her head in...curiosity. "Women?" She murmured, finding that a particularly odd reason to let her go first. Of course, as a beast clan, the females were, on some very stark occasions, the stronger, bulkier, more vicious types of the species. she knew that being polite was an extension during more formal occassions, as a means for males to try and find a suitable mate, but for one this was a fight, and she was...well, she would be shocked if Luke was by some means trying to mate with her.
"Hmm..." She murmured, her brows furrowing slightly as she allowed her mind to try to wrap around the ideology behind Luke's decision making. She honestly much preferred to be the one accepting the first blow, it gave her a good gauge to decide how hard she should attack the other person. But he didn't look like he was much in the mood for argument. He seemed a little tired with her. "Very well. If I win. you owe me three days company. You go where I want, and we do what I want. So long as it does not offend your sensibilities of course. But anything within reason." She noted, that smile perking back up.
In the next instant she practically did vanish. Before she had been just playing around. She had been....enjoying herself. But in that next instant, she used a shunpo to slam herself promptly into him, plowing into him with her own full speed. Of course with her own sturdy body she would be absolutely fine, but Luke? He would suddenly be sent flying as she used a high speed shoulder check into him, but of course, she didn't want to break any bones just yet. So most of her attack was focused on that blade of his. And on impact with her assault, almost all of that force was focused onto his zanpaku'to, and the flimsy thing would immediately shatter as a force more than triple it's durability met with it.
It was a release weapon, was it not? If so, then it would be simple to repair. Ajraka had seen, and indeed had people who were once on her crew that had had their zanpaku'to obliterated and been able to remanifest them at a later date. But in any case, even with that zanpaku'to taking almost all of the force, there was still plenty left over, with a proper hit, luke would likely feel his entire body being compressed as his body was shoved into the air behind him, the air actually being hardened as it was condensed from the motion of his own body pushing into it.
With that simple attack, Ajraka sought to sent Luke a reasonable distance away, and a reasonable distance down to plow into the soft grass just beyond where the edge of the stumps were, she had ORIGINALLY intended on hitting him with less force, but then he would have slammed into the cut tree stumps, and even at low speeds his back hitting one of those sharp edges would be a fast way to be crippled, so the clearing was where she sought to send him, even if it would feel like she was being a bit overforceful at the moment.
There was also the fact that she wanted to avoid cutback. If she had slammed int him, then there was a fairly good chance that she would pop like a baloon, but this way, she only hit the zanpaku'to, and then the zanpaku'to was what would be forced away from her own body, and then slam into luke carrying the force from her strike, eliminating any chance of her having to suffer a very sudden debilitation from cutback's bruises.
"Are you sure you don't want to ask for something a bit more....rewarding?" She asked, still a little leery about Luke's request. Sure it was something, but considering th sort of trouble he'd have to go through to actually win, she did feel as though he would be getting a lackluster reward. "I'm hardly poor. I can also probably get you goods you'd like from other places so long as it isn't something illegal." she reasoned. She didn't want him to feel as though this fight was for nothing after all. Proper stakes was an important part of a balanced spar.
Luke blinked. What did she just say? If she won then Luke had to spend three days in her company? Just what did THAT mean? "It means fish 'n fuck." Jäger joked, referencing something that Luke had nearly completely forgotten about back in his younger years. While his own bet had been something simple, she really decided to turn the dial to eleven and make a ten times bigger bet. Well, at least it wasn't eating his arm or making him give away that nice sword he had. Granted Luke wouldn't have accepted any kind of bet like that. Or if she countered his bet by saying she'd spin him around all she wanted. That one he REALLY didn't like the idea of. But, whatever. Luke was fine with this. He was actually kind of curious what three days with her would be like.
Then the fight started. Despite his grouchy attitude, Luke had been keeping his eyes on Ajraka. What's more was the fact he'd been scanning her with his Energy Sensory. He came to learn that she was both low on reiatsu and weak with it when it came down to it. In fact, a direct confrontation would have lead to the otter getting one hell of a nasty Cutback response if she tried to hit him. And that was the thing. Luke came to a educated conclusion that the otter was physically strong. The evidence was all there, really. She was fast. Disgustingly fast. Luke would even say she was faster than Aevus. She was able to move at speeds he could only achieve through the use of Step Techniques without using any techniques herself.
Without any substantial spiritual stats, it meant she wasn't like him, Aevus, or Yetsuna. She didn't build up on Spiritual Pressure to fight. Considering how weak her reiatsu felt in comparison to his own, Luke could only guess she was a powerhouse. Plus the whole lifting him up, cracking his back, and handling him like he was a little kid also clued him in. This all meant that Ajraka was a fast powerhouse. Luke wasn't physically weak himself. He was at least two times stronger than any professional football player. He could rip chains out of walls for god's sake. He could rip chains apart! But Luke knew that if he was physical struck by Ajraka...what strength he had wasn't going to mean shit. He'd need to use Mūnran'nā to fight her. The physical force abilities of his Artificial Zanpakuto would come in handy here. "C-" He had begun to say, but suddenly felt the reiatsu in Ajraka kick.
Thank god for Luke's minds eye. With a speed he could...no...he couldn't...comprehend he was attacked. Ajraka had vanished. Only Aevus and Lumina had ever shown so much speed. But they had used some advanced techniques to do it. What Luke felt was a flick of reiatsu, and suddenly Ajraka had basically become the Flashes speed force. It took him by surprise, that was for sure, but thankfully Luke had the Instincts and preparedness to react to and notice something like that. In a twist of irony, Luke was the one with the animal level senses, not Ajraka. So while he couldn't do anything complex to react to Ajraka's surprising burst of speed, it would be impossible really, he was able to at least do something when his sword began to get hit.
Thank goodness Luke had been holding his sword the way he did. The impact of Ajraka slamming her shoulder into his Zanpakuto would have broken it. It absolutely would have. But because Luke had been resting the thing against him, that force still travelled through the Zanpakuto and into him. And because it did that, well it happened. Luke's emergency response kicked in before his Zanpakuto could absorb all that force and be broken. No doubt to Ajraka's surprise, Luke just...exploded. The instant she hit, he exploded into a thick and heavy mist. The sudden explosion of mist would blanket a wide area around their battlefield, turning into a thick and heavy fog it almost felt like Ajraka was standing in a soup. It was so thick she couldn't hope to cut it with a knife.
Did Luke just dematerialize and become obliterated when he was hit by her attack? Not quite. Luke was still very much there, and he ended up letting out a mental sigh. Fucking christ that was fast. Did you two see how fast she was?? He exclaimed, taking a moment to calm himself down after he'd just nearly been sent to the god damn moon. But Luke had noticed what happened. She had focused her attack on his sword. So in response to being hit by her charge, he had used the Bount technique Nebel. A technique he'd only rarely ever had to use. A technique that he learned from Jäger's memories of fighting one of the Bount that had attacked him. In response to a physical attack, the Bount would turn into a thick fog that rendered physical attacks incapable of damaging them.
"I'm fine with my bet." Ajraka would suddenly hear Luke say from a few feet behind her. If she turned she'd find the Bount, unharmed, standing there in the fog. He looked at her with that grouchy demeanor of his, before smiling a little and shrugging. "There's nothing I can think of that you can give me anyways. I like earning stuff with my own hands...or hand, really, anyways." Luke explained as he lifted his Zanpakuto as if to demonstrate that he had earned that weapon himself. But, despite his attempt to completely negate Ajraka's attack, she would see the weapon was indeed damaged.
While not the entirety of the weapon was gone, it was missing a good two feet of its length. The top half of the sword was gone, reduced down to a jagged tip broken sword. Even if he saved part of the blade, and himself, the Zanpakuto couldn't absorb everything Ajraka had hit it with. "Cast away, Mūnran'nā." Luke completed this time. What remained of his sword transformed, illuminating the remaining portion of the blade and the bottom of his feet. "Not gonna lie, Miss Otter, you're fast. Faster than the guy who taught me how to fight." Luke complimented with a smile. He was actually impressed.
Thankfully, being a Bount, he was rather good against physical fighters. Luke decided to press forward himself though. His knees bent for a second before he suddenly shot forward using Movement, aiming to get in front of Ajraka and swing his now shorter Zanpakuto at her. With the majority of its length missing he'd have to get in closer than he was used to. But he could still fight with it. Being shorter meant he could swing it faster. He'd adapt quickly enough to the new weight and length. His sword swing aimed cut her stomach. He wanted to see how she would react to his own attacks.

{Art. Zan} “Cast away, Mūnran'nā” (Cast away, Moon Runner) is the call out phrase. a bright white light emanates from the artifical blade and the soles of the user's feet also gives off the same light. emitting the very same light as his blade. The blade pulls the user back, up, or forwards at twice their own physical speed and three times their own physical strength by an invisible force latent in the reiatsu under the soles of the user's feet, up to a maximum of ten yards, user's mental choice. It costs 200 reiatsu to release, while the ability costs 100 reiatsu to use and can only be done once a post. Also lasts for 7 posts.
Furthermore, the light can, for an additional 50 reiatsu during the aforementioned movement, become extremely blinding to those who gaze upon it even out of their peripherals. Those blinded by the light will have very blurry vision for their next post. It is worth mention that even without this blinding effect, the light from both the blade and soles of the feet are very painful to look at except for the user.
What makes this deadly is that, once per post for 100 reiatsu, separate from the movement portion of this power, the force that would normally be exerted on the user can be released as a large offensive blast of air, either from the held blade or the soles of the user's feet. If someone is struck by this force, then not only are they in danger from the natural effects of the power, but they have been "marked," and those marked can, for 100 reiatsu, once per time being marked, be pulled or pushed forward, backward, up, or down by the same force that exerts over the user for the original portion of the technique.

Ajraka smiled, even as that body exploded, there was probably a bit of a surprise for luke when, of all things, there wasn't a single mote of surprise on Ajraka's face. She just kept smiling. Or if there was a look of surprise, he simply missed it. the instant after he began to explode, just as his body was turning to smoke, her body suddenly burst outyward, a full-frontal flex that blasted that smoke away from her, keeping it from surrounding her as with her speed and reflexes, she had the time to blow him away from her before he could even finish evaporating into smoke.
When he reformed, he probably would be a good ways away from where he had intended, the sharp, rapid turns of her head were very animalistic, scanning her surroundings so that the moment he appeared, she was suddenly upon him, even as he began that release phrase for his Zanpaku'to (feasibly only a few feet away from him still, even if he wouldn't be able to appear behind her), Ajraka was right there in his face, a bright, happy smile as she raised her leg, her knee striking up and into the air, Luke would see the beginnings of a round-house kick, at least before her tail streaked in out of nowhere. That big-reveal coup de gras, type attack a mere feint for the straight-jab from her tail, aiming to slam into Luke's chest and not only interrupt his recitation of the release phrase, but to also show just how good her reflexes were. That tail stopping just short of slamming into him.
She allowed him to release as she dropped to the ground, smiling calmly and tilting her head amiably to the side. If he still insisted on attacking her, then her palm would easily snare his wrist in the midst of his attack, even if he attempted to attack her with something akin to something like shunpo karin, he would only be moving at three times her own speed, and she had more than enough in the ways of reflexes to snatch his wrist like a baseball star catching a pitch. She was intrigued now, her eyes locking onto his as she canted her head to the side.
"What sort of man was the one who taught you? I'm actually a little impressed." She noted calmly, aiming to slowly squeeze that snared wrist, assuming Luke had not found some way to avoid it or had simply burst into smoke again. Then again she had no idea how disorienting and tiring it was to pull one's entire body into tiny smoke-like particles. She could always find out she supposed. But even so, she held back. Significantly, keeping back her own release, her own techniques, her own abilities.
She did not need them presently. She wanted answers after all. "You mentioned that if I was here with ill intentions, you would make me regret it. It's not often that I find someone so hostile. It seems a shame that such a young man comes all the way out to this beautiful place just to start a fight." She noted with a slow, steady sigh, that smile softening. "You're young. You should be exploring, falling in love, finding out about yourself. And yet you are here. Protecting this place as if you had spent your whole life here, when you have yet to even live the life you have." She observed, that gaze growing calm and serious as she looked him dead in the eye.
"It is a sad thing to see someone so young trapped. By force. Or by duty." She noted flatly, there was no joy in these words. Her own youth had been....snared. Taken. She had been forced to grow up in a very short amount of time. To take up responsibility when she should have been enjoying the time she had. She was still so very immature, but thanks to her crew, and some of her closer friends, she was aware of this. But that had been the price of exploration. She had gone to see hueco mundo, and even though she was bound by her duty to her crew, she was still able to see so much of the world.
"Tell me, young man. What is the furthest you have ever been from your home?"
(both combatants have agreed that posts devoid of combat will not progress timers (Release, Abilities, ect) to allow cinematic conversation without wasting reiatsu and stamina)
A lot of things happened in those couple of seconds. When Luke had used Nebel to avoid the majority of the damage from Ajraka's shoulder charge, the otter seemed to react near instantly. She used her physical strength and speed to try and blow the fog that was surrounding her away. Her method was smart, but only a momentary solution. The fog produced by Nebel was thick. We're talking Silent Hill levels of thick. So while Ajraka had managed to create a clear zone for herself for a moment, that spiritually empowered fog would just roll back in around her quickly enough. But, regardless, due to her actions Luke did reform further away from her than he intended. When Luke had reformed and prepared to release Mūnran'nā he suddenly found Ajraka in his face.
Raising her knee in order to deal a good hit in on him, Luke was caught halfway by surprise when instead of that knee finishing its attack, instead that tail was coming right for him. He needed to expect that she'd use her tail to fight. He needed to expect that she might be able to fight using her body in ways normal people couldn't. But it was fine. If she did hit him he'd just dissipate into fog again using Nebel. Bount had some advantages over close ranged physical fighters. Luke had wondered why that was the case, and had begun to wonder if it was meant for a purpose that Luke didn't participate in. But that tail didn't hit him. It stopped moments before it hit him. When that tail stopped, Luke used Movement to move himself away from Ajraka, heading backwards to get some breathing room in.
Naturally this cancelled his attack. He let out a exhale as he watched Ajraka for any movement besides her constant head tilting. "She's fast." Springflut decided to comment. No shit. Luke replied back. But using all that speed had to be draining on her. He'd seen it from Aevus. Moving at such high speeds was draining on the user. If Ajraka kept attacking Luke with that speed she'd be the one tired out, not him. But then a question was thrown his way. Luke blinked at her, wondering why she was curious to know who had trained him. Well, wasn't like he had any reason to not answer. "He's an ass. He may be my mentor, but I guess it's wrong to say he taught me how to fight. He showed me the steps, and then let me go from there on my own." Luke explained, eyes drifting to the broken blade of Mūnran'nā for a second.
But more words! "She likes to talk. Ask her if she likes fish!" Talking wasn't a bad thing. Normally Luke liked talking too. At least he liked talking to people who weren't Jger. "Hey!" But what Ajraka was saying was interesting. The otter would see a frown form on the Bount's face as he tried making sense of what she had just say. His head tilted a little bit before he replied to her. "I came out here because I sensed a Hollow. I came out here looking to fight a Hollow, yeah, but that's it. You were the one that wanted to fight, not me." Luke replied back. Did she actually forget or was she getting at something else? Luke would be amazed if she had forgotten how Luke was tried to leave and only stayed to fight after Ajraka practically begged him to stay.
But it seemed like she wasn't done. A sigh and soft smile greeted him when she began talking again. The Bount was quiet as he listened to what she had to say. He was...very quiet. He looked at her, his expression not changing from that frown, as what she said bounced around in his head. Exploring? Falling in love? "Pft." Doing things besides what he was doing because he was young? She thought he was trapped? The hell did she know? Who the hell was she to judge someone else? She didn't know jack shit about him. Trapped? Luke wasn't trapped. She didn't know why Luke was the way he was. More importantly. Luke didn't deserve those things. He didn't deserve what she thought someone his age ought to be doing.
Like a powerpoint presentation, scenes played in his head. The image of the Hollow ripping apart his coworkers and manager. The scene of the Bount Alistair sinking his teeth into his coworker Asami. The sight of that injured man killed by that deranged Quincy. All of those people turned into zombies by that homeless transsexual nutcase. The Bount Luis being beheaded by that crimson skinned witch. And finally, images of a portion of Karakura...destroyed by a wave of water that the city was not built to withstand. The sounds of explosions as that Quincy rampaged through the streets. The bodies between the rubble. The ones floating in the flood. Luke's outward expression hadn't changed. His frown had softened, but there had been a flash of anger in his eyes.
"You're wrong. I don't know what you're trying to get at, but I'm not trapped. That would imply that what I'm doing isn't something I chose for myself or is something I don't want to do." Luke replied. He was on this path of his own decision. He could have turned around and ignored the piling up bodies. Lived his life normally. Not given a fuck about the people who got hurt around him. But he did. He did care. That's why he was on this path. Luke cared enough about people to dedicate himself to trying to protect them. Why he dedicated himself to becoming a hero. Her last question made him blink with surprise though. "I'm on the opposite end of the world from where I was born. Literally. There's an ocean blocking the way to America." Luke replied, finding her question odd and dumb.
