Physical Description: For an average size arrancar male, he displays himself as a fairly built individual with a light skin tone that is somewhat caucasian but asian skin tone. From the bottom down, he appears to wear long socks that go far up to the lower part of his knees. With his socks, he wears the traditional arrancar sandals but something about the sandals just makes him feel good. When he walks around or even sonidos to places, he can feel the greatness of comfort and agility within his feet. Around his waist he wears the traditional arrancar skirt that most arrancars will wear around for every occasion. Masa loves the feeling of the skirt's materials against his skin as he glides through the best winds possible. His skirt is bleach white with the black belt being around his waist. He likes the feeling of security around his waist along with his zanpakuto secured (Further down is the unreleased description for his sword).
Moving to his torso, he wears a bright white down vest. The texture on it looks very rough but when one feels it, it feels very smooth. The down vest comes with a zipper to unzip off or even on his body. The vest consists of no sleeves to cover his arms so his arms are bare. If he would however unzip his vest, he would reveal to others that his espada number nine tattoo would appear at the center of his chest. If he wishes to present his identity to anyone, he will simply show it by zipping his zipper down and opening his vest up. He does have a four-pack of abs but he wishes to keep it like that. He doesn't want to look like a freak with a six pack or anything like that. His arms have somewhat some muscles, but nothing too much to show off. He does happen to have several marks on his arms of scars. Cuts and bites appear on mainly his right arm but for these marks remains a mystery for many. Masa refuses to explain these scars on his arms to many. However, going lower on his arm to his right palm, there you can discover his hollow hole. The hole is only about 1 and 1/2 inches but it can become very noticeable when grips on something with his right palm. His other palm on the other hand seems to be very normal and fine.
Approaching to his brightening shoulders, he wears flat and textured orange traditional samurai shoulder pads. They will reach down his arm for only a short extent until stopping above his elbow two inches. The material is made of the finest wood and silk cords Las Noches can offer. He wears these bulky shouldpads for his only true source of protection. The reasoning for the odd style is because he admired his human ancestors, the Shimazu Katana Samurai. He felt that this was something that could suit him well for being an Espada. Moving up to his head, he wears a mask from his jaw to his nose that looks like what a typical Japanese Samurai would wear to battle (Keep in mind, this is made out of metal and is not his true hollow mask). It shows itself with fangs that would look fearful to many that oppose him. It attaches itself to connect itself spiritually with his skin, holding it in place. Many will not be able to visibly see his lips because it is covered in a shadow but if lights appear towards his face, they will easily discover his lips. His mask's color is orange just like his shoulder pads are and they keep in sync with their colors matching. His nose appears short and fairly built nice to allow air to go in and out. His eyes iris appears bright orange with black pupils as usual. Finally, moving to his arrancar's mask, it appears to show up on top of his head. It's a hawk's skull going down his head, covering the top of his head well. The beak of the fascinating mask goes down Masa's forehead half-way before stopping. The eye sockets seem fairly large for the skull. His hair manages to grow out from under the skull, becoming curly and short. His hair's color appears to be white.
Masa also covers his eyes across with bright orange warpaint to make appear as a warrior. He would reapply this warpaint on his face when it begins to fad or come completely off. The reason for wearing this is to represent his power as an Espada as well. He wants his foes to peer at his eyes with fear. He wears this to show that he will never spare mercy to anyone who threatens him.
Appearances once:
Human- As a young Japanese man, he was very handsome during his time. He had so many friends that knew him very well since his youth. The Kumasaka family was a very popular name in Satsuma and the family was well known to have generals serving under the Shimazu family during the Edo period. His ancestors fought proudly with Bushido honor long ago but as soon as the West comes... Everything changes in his home. His family approves of the industrialization Japan needs while he on the other hand doesn't approve of this. His family found Masa shameful to his family and eventually secretly murdering him.
Hollow- After death, he was a wandering soul. He didn't know where he could go, betrayal was always through his mind. Eventually, this thought consumed himself into a hollow. His figure fearsome of size, was a hawk with a killer vengeance. He traveled through the skies and hunted down the souls that betrayed him. He would slaughter them and get his revenge on the traitors of his own family, eventually making him move on.
Gillian- Evolving himself to a greater stance, he finally tops every hollow around him. His mask instead of looking default, looking like a hawk's face with bright orange eyes instead of the odd color they start with. He felt hungry for more, so he would begin to attack his own kin and make himself another step in the hollow evolution.
Adjuchas- Becoming what he thought was his final stage, he had his old humanoid form back. He was covered in white feathers and had feet that were talons. His head shape was similar to a hawk's but only it didn't look alive. His mouth would only move if he needed to consume another hollow. What made him so special was his ability to take flight and use winds to help him fight against anything that opposed him. He was extremely fast compared to many of his foes, swift and strikes were his tactic. They worked well, and made him dominant throughout his survival.
Traitors- Nothing is worse than for someone to back stab you in the back. Especially if you trust them with your life. Masa seems to find this his number one dislike because it is the thing that he believes that corrupts one's mind. His death was because of betrayal from his own family. He thought that industrialization in Japan was wrong and was punished by death by his own family. Seeing traitors throughout his living life and even now, he will not tolerate such awfulness from someone's mind. Masa would be willing to get great revenge on anyone who commits a traitorous action against him. "Who is there to trust in these worlds if anyone is capable of being a traitor?"
Parasites- Parasites... Disgusting and filthy organisms that live inside others. Masa seems to have a thing against these kind of creatures. Coming across a few hollow parasites gave him the feeling of hatred towards the creatures. He's fought only a hand full of parasite hollows in his life but maybe he absolutely hates parasites the most because they cause one to be insane once they condemn them into doom. "I swear if I ever had to fight another one of those abominations again..."
Shinigami- The Arrancar's original enemies from the past, Masa feels the Shinigami are not to be trusted still. He feels that the shinigami are a threat to the arrancars even if they are no longer fighting. Shinigami in his eyes are the enemies of his races along with the Quincys. Even if one shinigami is peaceful with him, he would refuse to cooperate with him/her because of their past long ago. He will never forgive the Shinigami. "Why did they harm us in the first place? Some of us were lazy and laid back and yet this shit happened. Screw those damn shinigamis to hell where they belong!"
Quincys- Words could not describe how hateful Masa feels towards the Quincys. He even admits they're worse then the Shinigami. They would enslave his race and wipe out arrancars anyways. Such an awful thing and Masa with an easy and slow mind feels thunder through his brain when he hears about the Quincys. He feels the quincys are the real threat to his race and others. He would never take kindly to any Quincy. "I am in the mindset against ALL Quincys. I don't care if you're nice, sweet, gentle. A Quincy is a Quincy!"
Humans- Humans are something Masa can stand but sometimes there's a limit... When Masa was still alive, he absolutely hated being human. Some of them are quiet and peaceful like him while others are noisy and tend to get really distracting. Masa hates the hell out of that. He felt that humans are a disgusting parasite to the world of the living. Sometimes, he wishes they never existed then all these soul problems would never exist. Sure, if that was the case then he wouldn't exist but at least things would be at peace. "I think being human is a mistake. Every human is a corrupt individual no matter how great they say they are. Everyone is capable of being dark on the inside. Unfortunately, I was once myself like that..."
Technology- Masa was around historically when the West begins to influence Japan into a technology empire. Luckily, he dies before the Western civilizations promote the technology of trains and factories to Japan during the 1800's. Masa has always believed that technology is what ruins the human mind. If you do not be peaceful with nature then you are not being apart of nature at any point anymore. Masa loves the nature more then anything for its soothing and peaceful environments. He would be happy to see a sakura tree and gently rest under it to remember all his thoughts on nature and how beautiful she is. "Technology ruins the peace and harmony of everything in existence."
Jerks- A lot of Arrancars are mean individuals. They are whether insane or sane but rude and such. Masa can handle them but if they get far with Masa, he'll snap right back at them. He'll even brawl them if they get worse with him. Masa doesn't like to get in trouble but sometimes they could offend him to the point of him going crazy on them. "What is your issue? I haven't done anything wrong yet you're going to be rude to me?"
Talkative People- Chit chat isn't Masa's cup of tea. He won't stand there and talk with anyone but instead will just whether talk with them for a brief moment or slowly get out of it. Walking away or daydreaming may be his choices. Even sleeping will work too! He absolutly hates talkative people with so much hate. He hates it when they whine and complain the most to him. It's like a fly is flying in front of his face and it's disrupting his thoughts. Best not get annoying to Masa or he'll just slide away. "You know you're starting to get annoying?"
Fraccións- What is the point for a Fracción anyways, Masa wonders. They are annoying and will always get in your way for alone time. They will literally helicopter you around and that doesn't suit Masa at all. He likes being left alone and not being praised by anyone. He will take his lonely status over someone being around him all the time to bug him. "Fraccións are a bunch of stalkers if you ask me. Leave me alone!"
Loud noises- Masa cannot stand loud noises! If he is resting or quietly relaxing, he will get very upset by this disruption. He hates it when something so loud and obnoxious is happening around him that he'll flip crap if something disturbs him. He'd be willing to be aggressive with them if it gets too serious. "What is all the noise?!"
Likes:
Sakura Trees- Beauty, silence, and bright... The Sakura tree has always caught Masa's eyes since he was a human. He would paint the beauty of this tree during its' blooming season and would sometimes rest under the outstanding tree to make himself home with nature. "This is why nature is good in the world of the living... To see that pink color on a tree makes me feel happy and peaceful."
Cigarettes- Masa has an odd thing for cigarettes. They're bad for nature but he believes they keep him at ease from the painful world when he was alive. He would even smoke the tobacco from his old pipe to blow the ashes in the air for the earth. Now that they come in filters, he simply just chain smokes them and throws the filters in an empty pack of cigarettes to avoid littering in the smooth sands of the palace and Hueco Mundo. "I'm sorry beautiful, but I love the feeling of soothing smoke filling my body."
Dogs- Human's best friend, Masa loves dogs with a great passion. He feels they are the true things to trust because no intelligent being is worth trust. He once owned a dog when he was alive. He felt that his dog was the only thing that understood him. It'd follow him everywhere through the outskirts of Satsuma in the peaceful fields. When his family assassinates him, his dog would whine every night for3 his loving friend. Eventually, he follows Masa's last scent to his buried sight and stayed there until his dog simply passes away. Masa as a soul, watched this and felt depressed as he couldn't be there with his best friend. "I miss him so much... I felt like he was the only thing I could smile for and be with everyday."
Sleep- Masa loves sleep so much that he does it when someone bores him. Literally! He believes that sleep and rest is the greatest way of escaping reality and even insanity. Every time, he has nothing to do he goes outside and lays in the sands of the white desert and simply sleeps. He feels being comfortable and silent can make sleep so wonderful... If you're grumpy and uncomfortable, it makes sleep bad but it gets you out of life. "I need to catch myself to sleep... I'm crapped out."
Quietness- The sound of silence. What a great thing to hear with Masa's ears. He thinks the quietness of an area is the feeling of peace and harmony. Nothing around is disturbing him and if he hears loud and obnoxious noises he gets the hate going. He wishes the world was just a quiet place. "I love the sound of just air flowing in my ears..."
Sands- Walking step by step through a natural cushion, he feels that sand is the softness of earth. He just loves to pick sand up with his bare hands and feel the smooth feeling gliding off his hands when the winds blow the sand away. If he could have a pillow full of sand, he'd be one happy person. "Sand, sand, sand. What else could be wrong with such a soft touch?"
Marijuana- Recently just getting into it, he loves the feeling to get high off of smoke. It's a hundred times better then cigarettes to him and he just loves to get the relaxing high. He loves it the most because he can daydream about anything with so many possibilities going through his mind. "Nothing like sitting back and smoking nature's finest medicine!"
Traditional Japanese Music- The thing Masa loves to hear other then silence is old Japanese music. The soothing songs going through Masa's ears make him happy and can even make him smile! If he hears a tune he loves, he'll hum along with it. Masa lays in the sand, smiling away while humming a peaceful tune.
Spring- Masa's favorite and loving season. He believes Spring is the season of life and love. Everything comes to life and blooms in beautiful colors. He would do anything to relax outside the spring season when he was alive. "Such a beautiful spring... What will become alive today?"
Sushi- One of Masa's favorite foods of all time has to be sushi. He just loves the taste of fish with its unique texture. He craves for taste of this delicacy again. "I miss sushi back when I was alive..."
The moon of Hueco Mundo- He just loves this beautiful moon. He think it's the only beautiful thing Hueco Mundo has to offer. Sometimes, he goes out of the palace just to stare at this gorgeous sight. "I love the beautiful moon outside this palace... Why is it daytime in here anyways?!"
Combat- Secretly, Masa loves to fight in combat. He's been trained for combat since a young human when he was alive. He loves to combat anyone, no matter how weak or strong they are. They're all the same to him. "You... I challenge you to a duel... Do you accept?"
Flaws:
Anti-Social - For a person that's quiet, he goes well with it. He does not like talking to anyone at all. You may approach him and have a conversation with him for a short time but he may eventually walk away from it or block it out. He doesn't like being annoyed either with it.
Smart ass- When engaged into an aggressive conversation or a fight with Masa, he will tend to act like a smart ass. If you ask him a question he will reply with smart mouthy words back. Sometimes he does not comply well with these conversations because he just hates them.
Laziness- Sometimes, he just doesn't care to do anything and tends to lay around. He may even take some fights not seriously! He may not try unless it's absolute for his survival or if enough is enough. He tends to be a laid back individual.
Use of marijuana- Even feeling great can cause distractions. Marijuana gets him stoned to the point he'll literally lay there like a rock (Unless provoked). He becomes even more laid back and relaxed, ignoring anything no matter what making social time with Masa impossible. Pretty much, this would be such a distraction for Masa.
Carelessness- Wanna talk about what's going on? Bet you Masa won't care. Masa being an anti-social individual will tend to care less about people's feelings and other things in conversations. However, if there is an important meeting or anything going on that is important involving his duties, he will listen in.
Rejecting- Masa seems to reject any kind offers from anyone who wants to give or be kind to him. It's nothing personal, he just tends to avoid accepting kindness from others.
Stubborn- Masa may sometimes be stubborn if someone wants to bring him to places or anything. He just doesn't seem to care or isn't interested at all. He's just too stubborn to do anything. He will only listen to his higher ups because he believes they are the ones he should listen to over others.
Habits:
Silent- He will be apart of a group maybe, but he won't say anything in the conversation. He loves being quiet because he doesn't feel that talking isn't needed unless proven otherwise.
Smoking Marijuana and Cigarettes- He loves to fill his lungs with drugs that keep his mindset steady and easy. He doesn't rely on the drugs too much but when he gets his hands on these two he will smoke them down in a heart beat.
Sleeping in conversations- If he is present to a boring conversation, he may actually just take a power nap. He gets bored easily from stuff like this.
Being alone- He tends to go out alone and take walks or just lay somewhere nice and quiet. He doesn't care where he goes just as long as he gets some quiet time to himself and his smoking habits.
Humming music- As stated earlier, he loves traditional Japanese music. He will tend to hum his favorite tunes during quiet areas where he is at.
Having good flashbacks of his past- When he daydreams, he's probably thinking about his good times as a human. He hated his life but he had good moments in it like with his dog and his once friends he had before he died.
Resting himself anywhere- Unlike conversations, Masa can pretty much rest anywhere that is quiet and comfy. He likes to sleep mainly out in the palace some places but he doesn't care. He even sleeps out in the white deserts that are safe to sleep.
Eating a lot of food- Masa loooves food! He will sit out somewhere and eat food left and right. He will take any opportunity to eat anything that's consumable for legit food. If someone offers him food, he'd actually accept it. He cannot avoid leaving a diner without eating nothing.
Biting his nails- When he gets nervous or bored, he will tend to bite his nails sometimes. Every time you see him, you'll notice he has short nails. A common habit for a lot of people but sometimes he will actually bite his finger if he has no nails by accident, causing it to bleed.
Fears:
Abandonment- Masa has a great phobia of being left behind by his comrades. Even if he doesn't trust them, he cannot stand to bare being left behind. No matter if it's quiet or anything in that case, he will go insane. Being left behind has always been his fear since a child when he was a human.
Death- Unfortunately, Masa fears death. He thinks that death is nature's way of moving the weak aside or mistaking some for the weak. Death is nature and death moves on. When Masa was killed by his own family, he felt death's scary grip on his soul. He certainly won't forget it.
Misery- Feeling distressed and unhappy can make one's mind go insane. Masa cannot come across misery itself because it makes him feel very hurt. It ruins the point of being peaceful and quiet. It's just suffering and pain to him.
Goals:
Punishing the traitors- Masa finds himself given another chance to avoid traitors. He also may be given the chance to punish those who commit a traitorous act towards Masa. If anyone betrays him with even his trust, the wrath is on.
Surviving another day- Masa believes that survival is important. Whether fighting a higher up or fighting something smaller that opposes him, he would be willing to fight or challenge anybody. He believes in nature's 'survival of the fittest'. The weak are eliminated first, while the strong fight the strong for dominance.
Eventually Move on- Masa has a haunting past and tries everything in his way to avoid his thoughts of the past. He really wants to just move on with his new life as an arrancar. He believes that the past is the past and should be forgotten for good.
Make the Arrancars dominant- Masa believes that the arrancars are not treated fairly and they deserve to be more recognized. With Masa being Espada number 9, he will push to achieve this goal.
Alignment: [Passive Neutral]
Aspect of Death: [Silence]
Overall Personality: Masa is in a nutshell a loner kind of person. He will stick to himself always and will avoid contact with anyone. However, he may only approach someone if something important is urgent or if he's actually interested in something from that person. Masa is known to approach people rarely just to challenge them in combat. His feeling for fights is odd, because secretly he finds fights amazing and great because they give him an adrenaline rush. It will even test his survival ability. He loves to challenge those who aren't arrancars mainly. He finds the Vandenreich worthy prey to attack and strike. Basically, he may only be interested in someone for combat purposes mainly. Laziness, stubborn attitudes, and anti-social. It all fits him well. When seriousness comes, he becomes someone completely different in combat.
His aspect of death, Silence describes him so well. He loves the sound of nothing in the whole world and would take that option anytime if it could happen. However, the world will never truly be silent. He will only accept noise in his life and it's only if he begins to fight an enemy. He loves the sounds of swords swinging and slashing. Another exception would be the winds. He loves the sound of the winds flying into his ears. He finds this even pleasurable for himself. Masa will never want to speak to anyone at all. He only enjoy talking if there's a fight happening and he's in it. Fighting is in his blood because his ancestors were warriors at one point before he was killed.
Masa wants to become powerful and strong yet survive another day. He wants to become a superior to the point of fighting higher ups for other races (Shinigami, Quincy, Beast clan, etc.). He wants the arrancar race to become a majority in the worlds and become dominant. With his power and might, he will successfully bring these things to reality as this Espada will present his powers like no other person has done before. His goal is now set to bring the arrancars glory and reputation they deserve.
Silencing time. When Masa has nothing to do, he will tend to go out to Hueco Mundo or wander the palace in search of something to do. He mostly ends up going to quiet places to sit back and smoke or just to take a nap. He hates interruptions from anyone who disturbs him. He will literally mumble cussing words if his mood is angry or not amused. He may make an understanding if it was urgent or important. Otherwise, don't disturb him!
Traitorous kind. If he finds out you've committed a betrayal towards anyone, you'll instant lose your trust with him. He will literally get aggressive against you whether telling you back off or else. He's dealt with several traitors in Las Noches and the world of the living to know. He will not tolerate anyone who betrays him or anyone who is innocent of it. His reputation is known to be against corrupted individuals such as traitorous scum.
Anything he could do. If Masa could do absolutely anything, he would go to the world of the living and find a sakura tree. He wants to observe the beauty once more and even lean his back against the beautiful tree. He wants to feel his past flow into him, remembering how his life had such beauty in it from the nature that was once given to him.
Nature. Masa's biggest belief is in nature. Survival of the fittest, beauty of nature, animals being apart of nature, and tyranny mankind. He loves nature with his heart and would do anything to be with nature eventually if he officially and permanently passes. He even wants to become a peaceful sakura tree in Japan if he ever had a chance to pick whatever he wants to become.
Superiors. Out of everything, he can only trust completely his superior, the king of Las Noches. He will do anything by his will to serve and protect the king even with his own life. He owes his king so much for sheltering him from the cold world of Hueco Mundo. He would move everything aside just for his king. Loyalty is strong with Masa when it comes to the king.

Fighting Style: Masa seems to have an odd way to combat his foes. He will never fight anybody unless he has no choice or if he challenges them. Deep down he has such a strong passion to fight. He would take on anyone who would oppose him. Even if he knows their power is far superior then his, he'll combat them until the end meaning even if he knows he will die. Masa believes that fights should be finished and never left with a cliff hanger. If he fights someone and one of them has to retreat, he'll come back for another round until he is victorious. He does like doing friendly battles for the sports of it but with a certain extent. Masa loves to fight mainly because it makes him feel like a threat and he loves making the enemy feel like they're facing a dangerous foe. His swordsmanship is excellent because of his experience from his past life. He always uses his weapons with two hands instead of one. Rarely, will he use one hand and that will only be the case for weaker opponents. He still has a great memory of his training with swords. However, his power is different from his past.
In a extremely rare case, Masa may do an old fashion brawl with his fists. Being trained in material arts, he knows many techniques in hand to hand combat. He finds hand to hand a very dull and boring solution to fights. However, he will use this in unnecessary fights that break out. Even though he doesn't look strong to most, he is very powerful with his throws and punches. Blocking is kinda hard for him but he usually can handle a few hits. He seems to find hand to hand only amusing if it concludes to using swords. He will not like to play hand to hand combat for a long time because he thinks not only is it boring but it leaves to absolutely nothing, making conflicts last longer then how they should.
Masa may not take the fight seriously at first if he was forced to fight. He gets into a fight randomly and he'll just be observing their movements and techniques. He finds combat amusing but if this is a weak fight, he'll stick to this until he figures their weaknesses. He will be very dodging and avoiding with his foes moves (Depending how powerful they are). Sometimes, Masa does this to see if they're actually worthy to fight. If the enemy manages to strike him when he doesn't try then things must get a step higher... Masa will begin to block from that point if they start showing more aggression, but if this isn't enough then he must go in with force.
The weirdest thing about Masa is that his is completely emotionless in his fights sometimes. He never smiles, laughs, saddens, anything during his fights. Is he really that crazy to not have emotions in his fights? Maybe, he holds it all in for some reason. Not many people know why this unusual occurrence happens but many do speculate it's because he's not socially stable with anyone. Don't let this fool you though. He is still a deadly in his efforts to combat his enemies.
Masa's tactic in battle is to sonido into a target and strike just like a hawk would strike and cause damage to their prey. Masa is there to deal damage and will dash back out to avoid damage. That's the issue though. Sometimes enemies can strike him if he fails to strike them. He relies mainly on damage to cause affliction to the enemy. His Zanpakuto is able to throw a few great punches at its target but eventually the enemy should know his tactic well enough to evade him or even counter his attacks. So, does this mean Masa is useless at this point? No, not at all! Once his foe realizes his tactic, Masa will switch and will halt his sonido strikes.
Masa overall will be an ambushing predator. He would rely on his winds to guide him through the skies to land critically on his foes, inflicting damage from his sword's release and his natural weapons (the talons). He will not only ambush from the skies but from the sides and behind as well. He believes in sonido ambush and wind techinques. All these would provide him with an advantage that his enemy may not have in the battle field. His focus would excede to his limits, making him never falter off his targets. Masa loves the adrenaline from the jumps and slashes from his sonido strikes. The good feelings of ambushes make Masa feel optimistic and fearful to the enemy. This goes to the point of halting his sonidos. Whether it's been too many strikes or the enemy just realizes his tactic, he will switch over.
He stands in front of his enemy and draws his blade close to him and charges them. He would be agile and quick with his attacks making it difficult for the enemy... However, there's a catch to this. Masa is probably the worst Espada with Defense. Don't get him wrong, he is still great at defense but that is not his focus in combat. His focus is offense. Eventually, he will get very fatigued from his offensive approach and he will begin to lack defense. The enemy will have a greater advantage in his/her strikes against Masa when they strike him. Masa will also begin to slow down overtime when he keeps this up. He sometimes fails to realize he's pushing himself to hard and will lack the ability to see things coming towards him. However, this is only the case if the enemy is actually stronger than him or equal. A mere weaker foe would struggle with him, but they could still counter Masa.
Eventually, something of his will kick in that he will be struggling to control, Insanity. When battles are for sure not in his favor, he will begin to falter. Mistakes on his part will be made. Mentally messed up, he begins to rush into his strikes, making mistakes by failing to strike correctly and rushing in moments that could get him in big trouble. Masa's eyes would also grow wide as desperation rises in him. He wants that strike to make a connection to his target at all costs. His insanity always brings angry expressions into the fight. He won't be blank with his emotions anymore, he'll literally become an animal and try to defeat his enemy.
There will be times where he will back off the enemy and wait with them. Sometimes even a quick few words with them. He's a very smart and intelligent fighter and is always observing for weaknesses in his opponents. He likes to remain silent through his fights but if he gets questioned he will reply with smart ass comments. If Masa senses defeat in his side, he will get very impatient at times and make reckless moves that could cost him severe consequences. He could even risk his own life. He will even not reply to questions and such if he knows his fight is losing. He will spend more time focusing on his targets weaknesses then answer something the enemy says to him. Fate will only tell what will happen with Masa in his combat.
Zanpakutou Appearances:
Non-Release State:
First, his sheath is colored orange with his handle of the Zanpakuto. When he brings his sword out, it looks curved like a katana blade like every other arrancar's unreleased blade. What makes his Zanpakuto so beautiful is the tsuba. It is wings wrapping around the sword between the blade itself and the handle. This is probably representing a hawk's pair of wings. The bright silver glare of the blade means he keeps his sword nice and clean and hell even polished! He likes to manage and take care of his weapon. His Zanpakuto is slightly smaller than most arrancar Zanpakutos oddly probably to build swift attacks with each strike. Masa uses his Zanpakuto at this stage to test his enemy and see their power. He knows his ways with the sword and can handle an opponent for awhile.
Released state:
Masa's weapon changes from becoming a small Zanpakuto to a very long sword. His blade becomes the old and powerful Odachi/No-Dachi katana. The longest katana the Japanese made. These blades were rarely used in combat because they were heavy and the Shogunate passed a law to stop using long blade weapons. These blades eventually became weapons for graves and ceremonies. His weapon gleams brightly polished and furbished. The handle of his weapon is pure white with the tsuba's wings actually looking realistically alive and real. This blade is approximately 5'5, a very large weapon to assault with. The handle of this weapon changes from being orange to pure white to represent purity and peace with his inner self. He certainly takes a different look with his sword's looks. Making it ironically into a bigger weapon for a more powerful blow to his foes.
Primera Etapa:
Masa will slowly bring his sword close to his nose... His face will look divided, and suddenly "Adrenaline Rush, Halcón!" then swoosh! Pure energy that looks orange flows around him, turning his entire body into something different... When all the energy clears up after all that, Masa steps out slowly and winds start violently picking up. His head becomes oddly a hawk's head. His head's completely white and his eyes remain the same orange color. His beak is white as well. However, unlike when he was a lower class hollow, this head makes him look alive and realistic. When he talks he will actually move his beak.
His body takes a different toll too. He is still a humanoid but his body is covered in feathers. His feet turn into hawk talons with no sandals or boots on at all. His down vest becomes an armored shell that covers his torso with protection out of the same hollow material that makes their natural masks. His skirt fads and becomes traditional samurai armor skirt (which will grant him much more protection then before) that is made out of the same material as his chest. With that, he will also be equipped with a samurai helmet to protect his head against anything deadly. His shoulder pads also become much bulkier and more protective then before. He arms will be covered down to his hands with leather-like protection from the samurai armor's protection. He will finally wear some protective gloves that even cover his fingers. All of the armor's color is white because it all made of the hollow material that creates their masks. He appears to also have a tail like a hawk's, looking like a Chinese fan. His whole body is just coated in detail with white feathers expect his arms. His arms are what remains to have humanish skin. All the features on his body will be incredibly soft to touch. The most amazing and beautiful thing about this release has to be his wings he forms from his back. The wings are in perfect color with white and looks very realistic to a hawk's pair of wings. They are attached to his back as apart of him, and if damage like cuts and such occur, blood will drip. The most unique feature about the wings is after 6 posts of his release being released, his wing's feathers will actually begin to fall off slowly and when the eighth post hits and the release ends, his feathers will completely make his wings disappear and he will return to his normal form with a poof.
This release makes him excellent in offensive turns. His sheath is gone as well which makes it easier for him to strike his targets. His sword's release looks are above.
Zanapkutou Release Names(Include both stage names, and call out phrases) "Adrenaline Rush, Halcón!"
Overall Ability: Masa's overall ability is easy to understand. He portrays himself as a victim of a traitorous individual. When he releases his Zanpakuto, he becomes his aspect of death, Silence. Silently coming back to make his revenge. It's a chance to recover from his betrayal, and come back stronger than before. He will generate winds all around him, thanks to his Zanpakuto. If the environment never produced winds around in the first place, he will by default. The winds around Masa help him glide and fly and even help him with his own abilities. Winds will hold reiatsu for him to slowly infest, making him able to use abilities and techniques. The more winds that are around Masa, the greater morale he will have in his fight. The winds of nature will even assist Masa. Causing the winds to come to life from his release, the winds around will become very violent and devastating towards his enemies. Sometimes they would violently reek havoc by pushing his opponents over and causing them to have stress with distractions. The winds will even become weapons and will attempt to cut through flesh and bones. Normal humans wouldn't even stand a chance against the winds for they'd even but sliced in half! Masa will use the winds to his advantage and will use the winds to cover him in sneak attacks. Winds will become so powerful that they'll cover him as he assaults into his prey. The reason for this strange occurrences is unknown to everyone but Masa himself.
Primera Etapa: Betrayal by someone you could trust. You come back from the dead with much strength left to give your enemy hell with the might of your vengeance. This Primera Etapa's main focus is to become very offensive and have a watered down defense. His long no-dachi grants him the powers to strike hard on his foes. With the wind on his side, he will fly in the skies and strike down on top of his enemy as a hawk would to his prey. Masa will even attack his enemies from behind with his sonido strikes just because how desperate he's become to defeat them. He will become unpredictable from this point in the battle because he makes constant moves that make him so confusing to figure out. With the strong winds all around Masa, he will become the predator that ambushes his targets with fearsome blows that make his offensive strikes powerful and devastating. Eventually, one can figure it out but with this much going on it will take time in the battle. The basic words that describes this is pretty much being fast, agile, and surprising to his enemies. With the mix of Sonidos and winds, this makes Masa more confidant in his strikingly attacks towards the foes that oppose Masa. Masa is given the favor with winds of nature but when his release is done, the winds will halt and will no longer be at his advantage.
Masa can blend himself into the winds to provide him with cover and he will use this to his advantage. He even doesn't need sonido for this process because it will cover him in sight. He will strike his enemies in cover and will attach the winds to his sword to strike his foe. If he strikes his own enemies but they block, the winds from his sword and will burst into his enemy. This would cause the winds to literally slice through and cut their clothing and skin. The pain is terrifying and extremely painful because it would feel as if daggers would fly by and cut through their skin. Also note that the winds around them will even cause distress to the enemy because the wind is harassing them enough as it is.
Zanpakuto Techniques:
[Aliado de los Vientos (Ally of the winds)]- Masa calls for aid from his windy ally to slowly cover him completely from the naked eyes. The winds around will slowly begin to wrap around Masa forming a cloak to cover him all around. The winds would be so powerful that they could literally make one's mind fooled easily. Masa blends himself in with the winds, making him a deadlier predator. The winds will provide him with great cover for his combat, making it harder for the enemies to find him and his movements. This ability will last for his entire 8 posts. He can even attack with himself invisible towards his enemy. If the enemy has energy sensory of 200 or greater he will be noticeable and will be spotted. REIATSU COST: 400 Drawbacks: Also if the enemy has great energy sensors he will be noticeable. The reiashu cost also makes this ability a drawback. He can also be heard and felt. If someone has illusion resist of 2+ or analysis of 2+, they should be able to see Masa as a blurr.
[Azote del Viento (Wind Whip)]- Winds around the area will violently start picking up. Winds will gather on the tip of his sword in a whip and with one swing, the whole area around will be disrupted in violent winds. Causing a distraction or the area around to be disrupted. For example, if the area is surrounded by sands, it will make the winds pick up sand and cause the area to be hard to see through. This could be useful for other tasks as well. This is mainly to cause violent winds in one area to disrupt something. REIATSU COST: 200 Drawbacks: The biggest drawback is that it doesn't harm the enemies. It also requires a decent chunk of Reiatsu to use this ability. This ability would be ineffective against water.
[Dagas de Viento (Wind Daggers)]- His sword will be wrapped with winds, providing a powerful effect to occur. When the sword impacts against another object or person, the winds will violently launch off and spray the target like shotgun bb's based off Masa's strength. These little pellets would be made finely from a mix of reiashu and winds. A block may feel safe but when this occurs to their block, the winds will travel off and impact all around the opponent, causing dagger-like winds to pierce through clothes and into their skin and out.. Causing severe pain and agony to his prey. REIATSU COST: 450 Drawbacks: The cost of using this ability is a lot. If Masa strikes ANYTHING it will go off. So, if an enemy happens to carry a shield, it will all burst on the shield itself. Also has a timer, it will need to be used as soon as possible. Within one turn he must use it, if he fails to use it within that turn, it will go off into the air.
[Violencia (Violence)]- Masa would allow his windy partner to move onto his targets and begin to harassing and assaulting the enemies. The winds would push the opponents around, causing a disruption to whatever they were doing. Depending on the amount of strength someone has, the winds would even push somebody over if their strength is weak (Below 300 Strength). However, if they have a higher strength (Over 300 to 599) they'll still be effected but won't be pushed over. Instead they'll be shaken around and shoved around. Usually, this gives Masa time to strike and disrupt whatever the enemy was doing. If the character has powerful strength (600 or more) this will leave them unaffected no matter what. However, there is a warning ahead of time. Masa will need to eliminate his focus off the enemy and begin to call out his command in order for this to work. This will give time for his enemies to strike him or even brace for impact when he is unfocused. REIATSU COST: 350 Drawbacks: This ability will not hurt his foes. Instead, it will just harass them around and will cause them to be distracted. Higher strength characters won't be effected as bad as lower strength characters. This ability will also effect friendlies that are in the way. He will be unfocused when commencing this ability, leaving him open to strikes. Canceling his ability out is easy for him however.
Other Techniques:
Technique Name: [Bala] (Bullet) Class: [6] [Cannot be learned until class 6] Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] Technique Element: [None] Technique Description and Effects: An Arrancar-exclusive technique that hardens the user's Reiatsu and releases it like a swift blast of spiritual energy. While the technique is not nearly as powerful as a Cero, its speed is 20 times faster and allows for it to be fired in quick repetition. The orb of reiatsu fired varies in size and strength, some Arrancar creating one the size of a basketball with the rough power of a massive punch, and others creating Bala with enough power to blast holes in adversaries. Some Espada can create Bala as large and powerful as an average Arrancar's Cero.
How to use technique: The user must first aim and then fire the technique, as is custom of any projectile type. Technique Drawbacks: 50 Reiatsu cost.
Technique Name: [Sonido (Lit. Sound Step)] Class: [4] - 7-1. Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] - Kidou, Quincy Technique, Bount Technique, Human Technique, Hollow Technique, Other Technique Element: [None] - If any Technique Description and Effects: [What does your technique do? How strong is it? What is it's range of abilities? List these things below.] A powerful technique, Sonido is a step that increases movement speed for a single step. Essentially, it magnifies the speed of just that one step, by 13 times. Each step for Sonido costs 100 Reiatsu. Additionally, this technique does not take up a technique slot.
How to use technique: Just use it and drain the Reiatsu. Drawback: Reiatsu cost.
Technique Name: Sin Sonido Class: 4 Technique Type: Hollow/Arrancar Technique Element: None Technique Description and Effects: Sin Sonido is the next stage of Sonido evolution, which was developed by Marcelius after countless examination of spirtual particles resisting the flow of spiritual beings through Hueco Mundo's dense atmosphere. Using the principles of Reiatsu-infused movements, introduced by Sonido, this technique uses a larger supply of Reiatsu to enhance every aspect of it's predecessor. Not only does the Reiatsu used allow for faster travel, but it also reduces all drag and impedance of spiritual particle resistance. Where Sonido filled the muscles with energy needed to heighten the user's speed, Sin Sonido additionally coats the user in Reiatsu. With this internal and external building of Reiatsu, the user will figuratively meld with the world around them as they burst with sudden speed. The density of the surrounding particles is of no consequence, as this technique was designed for Hueco Mundo's tremendously dense environment. The same density that forced Arrancar to improve Sonido's design over the Shinigami Shunpo has further enhanced this technique to a higher quality. In atmospheres with less density in spiritual particles, the task is all the simpler to accomplish and control.
The result is a reduced spiritual resistances means less of a footprint. It is possible for masters of Sin Sonido to travel so suddenly and so flawlessly, that they simply materialize at their intended destination. Even wild animals cannot interpret such a flawless transition. After all, this is a Predator's tool. Sin Sonido has also prove more difficult to react against, this is a forced psychological effect due to the techniques bizarre, traceless nature. Truly, this is a most fearsome technique... but is only recommended for practitioners of considerable skill. Once a soul can learn to use it with maturity, a Sonido without sound can prove a most deadly addition to an arsenal.
Sin Sonido increases the user's speed by x10. Observers with Senses beneath 400 cannot hear the beginning or completion of this technique. Observers with Senses of 400 or greater can detect the signature Sonido noise. Observers with Instincts beneath 200 cannot track the movement or arrival of this technique, though they may still prepare counters. Observers with Instincts of 200 and above are unaffected.
How to use technique: Using Sin Sonido is exactly the same as using Sonido. Technique Drawbacks: The user of this technique must have Sonido mastered. Sin Sonido moves slower than typical Sonido, to avoid unnecessary noise Sin Sonido also costs more Reiatsu than typical Sonido to accommodate the atmospheric blending. Cost: 150 Reiatsu Made By: Marcelius Despres Reserved: No
Technique Name: [Hierro (Harden)] Class: [3] Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] Technique Element: [Metal] Technique Description and Effects: Hierro is an Arrancar technique in which the user's reiatsu condenses, creating a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakuto. This also allows them to fight some of the sword-wielding Shinigami barehanded. This technique guards against reiatsu based and melee techniques. If the user has 150+ reiatsu strength superiority to the enemy, then the user is totally undamaged by all attacks from the enemy. This means an Arrancar is essentially invincible based on Hierro for some time. At 75-149 reiatsu strength advantage, damage is very minor, but present. A large slash could be a tiny cut. At less than 75 advantage, there is resistance to damage from the Hierro. Small resistance.
How to use technique: Always active. Doesn't use reiatsu to keep active, uses reiatsu strength for strength. Permanently active as soon as it is learned.
Technique Drawbacks: Must deactivate this to use High Speed Regeneration. Reiatsu is lost upon deactivation, reiatsu equivalent to the technique class, which is 3. 400 is lost upon deactivation. 400 is then also lost upon reactivation in the same thread. Final stage release bypasses Hierro automatically by default. (Bankai, Fullbring Stage 2, etc.) Vizard Bankai does NOT bypass Hierro. Vizards, even if they have not yet become full Vizards, must use their mask to bypass Hierro. Those facing Hierro can gradually adjust to it per combat hit against the enemy, though within a certain post limit. Let's say Person A has Hierro, and is fighting Person B. If Person B hits Person A twice with attacks, then after 8 posts of their combat have elapsed, then Person A's Hierro counts at 80% of its strength (100 Reiatsu strength would be 80). After 12 posts of combat, if Person A has been hit at least four total times, then Person B can now treat Hierro as if it is simply 60% strength (100 Reiatsu Strength would be 60). After 16 posts of combat, if at least six hits have been landed, Hierro stops working against Person B.
Technique Name: [Pesquis (Sight)] Class: [5] Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] Technique Element: [None] Technique Description and Effects: An Arrancar exclusive technique that allows the user to cast a seeming "radar" for a one mile radius, allowing them to sense any and all beings that have reiatsu in the area, and tell how strong that reiatsu is, and even locate an enemy in battle. Vizards can slip through Pesquis during use of step techniques. Those of speed three or more times the user's can also slip through Pesquis. This allows a one mile radar per 50 energy sensory. Its accuracy also increases with higher levels of energy sensory. The default version can sense location, general flaring and fluctuation of reiatsu, and basic movement.
How to use technique: Focus. Lasts for 5 posts once activated. Technique Drawbacks: In addition to diverting some of the user's focus, this technique can be fooled by mid to high level illusions, and step techniques which reach a speed at least 30% or more of the user's step speed can slip through Pesquis, seeming to disappear like a ghost off of the radar.
Technique Name: [Cero (Zero)] Class: [4] Technique Type: [Hollow Technique] Technique Element: None Technique Description and Effects: Available only to Hollows or Arrancar of at least Gillian status, Cero is the signature technique of higher level Hollow races. This concentrates their reiatsu into a condensed blast of light which fires out, usually from the hands or similar body part, though many can use it from their chests, feet, mouths, or other appendages. Color is usually red, but many Arrancar have learned how to alter the color of their fired Cero. When charging it appears to be an orb, but when fired is a large, very wide beam. It has a distinct high-pitched sound when charging, and a very low growl when fired. Anyone can hear either, and thus discerning a Cero is very easy. In power, weaker Cero explode on contact with targets, but some Cero have enough power to keep going after hitting a target, and simply consume and disintegrate it.
How to use technique: Aim body part at target and charge the technique, then fire. In speed, takes a few seconds total. Technique Drawbacks: Reiatsu cost of 200, despite being class 4
{Click here for Part 1} On January 25th, 1842, a new soul was born in Satsuma, Japan. A blessed child by his Buddhist family. He was chosen out of two of his siblings to rule the Kumasaka family when he becomes of age. Luckily, his family in Satsuma is in high reputation because of the Kumasaka's family past during the Edo period when the entire country was at war. His ancestors were generals on horseback who provided much morale for their soldiers in combat. They were honored by the Shimazu family and even asked to marry one of the daughters of the Kumasakas. The Kumasakas were a very honorable family by name. Each time a loved on of the Kumasaka family dies or passes away they would honor their souls by presenting their graves with a very long and unique blade known as the No-Dachi blade. These massive swords were historically recorded to slice the head off of cavalry horses when they would engage their cavalry.
Strangely enough, a few hundred years later... A boy by the name of Masa Kumasaka was brought into this world and his family was offered no-dachi blade by an unknown individual to congratulate their new born son. They found this odd for a mysterious stranger to gift them this ancient artifact but they simply hung it on their wall in their home. Masa from day one of his birth was spoiled rotten by the amount of gifts this honorable family would present to him. They'd bring him toys and his favorite, wooden swords. He would play with wooden swords with his friends and his family found that a sign of a little warrior in his soul. They brought Masa into a swordsmanship dojo at age four, to train him the way his ancestors were taught.
At the age of eight his parents take him to local schools to learn the skills of art and literature. Though Masa much rather prefers art and weapon training over anything else. He learns the basic for literature but mostly in art. He actually will one day become one of the greatest authors known in Modernized Japan. His art will inspire many other artists around the world to be creative with their thoughts and minds. His favorite things to draw were sakura trees and boats. He is also inspired to draw military-like people around Japan.
Years fly by, Masa starts to go through puberty, he begins to talk deeper, and he's becoming much better in weapons and even martial arts. Masa loves to use a blade that's small and agile to give him much more threatening strikes and less strength to use then anything else. He loves to hear the swift noises it makes when he slashes it in the air. However, the number one thing he loves about his weapons is the noise they make when they collide against another opponent's weapon. He's mastered smaller weapons at age fifteen and learns how to use larger weapons so on. He was looked at by several individuals as 'hope'.
Masa just didn't love his training but he loved his friends. Masa would sometimes walk with friends through peaceful and blooming fields of Sakura trees and talk to his friends about who will become the Shogunate one day. They all laughed, played teenager games, gossip about others, and admire the world they all live in. If there's one thing Masa kept to himself, it was his real feelings for nature herself. He had so much feelings for everything in nature but mostly the winds and the sakura trees. He admired the nature around him and wishes he could join nature one day. When he turns of age at twenty, he was gifted a dog and he named his companion 'Chow'. Chow was his greatest friend possibly. He never argued with Chow once or anything. Chow would follow as his master's will and would never do anything against his master either.
Eventually, Masa meets a beautiful girl at the age of twenty by the name of Ayumi Kimura. He first sees her at the docks of Satsuma, as she watches her father sail off into the ocean. She was the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. He felt a strong connection with her and felt that she was for him. Masa slowly approaches this young girl and at first it startled her but eventually, he calms her with flirting words. She felt attracted to him, but not enough for love to be in the air. They both exchanged locations to where they should meet and went off their own ways.
Masa returns home and comes home late at the wrong time. His father brings over other leaders from their families and they were having a discussion on this Emperor... They were talking back and forth about how Japan will end up going in the far future. Masa was troubled by this because they kept talking about what was dishonor and honor. His father favored the new modernization of Japan. He believes it will belief his country. However, Masa knows that the entire west coming over to Japan was a mistake because it's been corrupting the Japanese people into evil thoughts of conquering each other for resources. Masa has enough of that because he doesn't want his father to become corrupted. Masa rushes in and halts the meeting at once.
Masa's father stands up in anger and immediately tells his son to leave. Masa simply refuses to leave and yells at the men, "Look at all of you shameful men! You are gossiping about our Shogun and favor this EMPEROR?! You all are forgetting something important we were all taught! We were taught that we should NEVER trust the outsiders of this country. These foreigners have brought a lot towards us. The Majority of it being RELIGION! What happened to our Buddha? Is he suffering from the corruption of our people?! Shameful, shameful, shameful pigs! All of you deserve to have the shinigami take you all down!" Masa's long speech shocked the men. One of which actually stands up and wants to fight Masa for his yellings during the meeting.
Masa would laugh at this man and even flip him onto the table, causing the table to break. Everyone in the room was shocked and startled by this. He eventually walks out in frustration with his father following him with an angry expression. His father would begin would begin to yell at his son, telling him that he cannot yell like that in a meeting of families. Masa didn't even care and just storms inside his room, laying in his cot. He felt angry but sad because this family is at risk of corruption by the evil Western powers of the world.
He feels pain in his heart and soul because this beautiful country will change soon into a corruptive place. He feels that he needs to change this country soon or else it's doomed forever. He'll slowly sit up and quickly runs outside to look up at the moon. Usually, the moon that's full means luck in his eyes. He believes the next day will become the next great day for him. He sighs and heads back inside to lay back down. He slowly drifts into his sleep and begins to dream... He feels like being a giant beast slaughtering innocent Japanese people. The fear he's portraying to those people makes the situation mentally, insane and cruel. He quickly wakes up, sweating up fest. He certainly feels like this isn't going to be a lucky day after all.
The next day, he walks to the spot where him and Ayumi agreed to meet. It was joyfully under a cherry blossom tree. He awaits for his honey and smiles throughout the process. However, something horrible just happens. A bridge not to far away, is being crowded up. He walks over and looks down the waters, finding Ayumi dead... He slowly drops to his knees, feeling such suffering from this. Was this murder? Was this an accident? Was this suicide? The cause of death, was unknown... No one knew what happened to her...
Masa slowly started to fad away from his old friends and family... After this incident he begins to become antisocial towards everyone around. After losing someone you liked and first met, it was a horrible feeling. He actually felt that everyone is changing too but in a bad way. He slowly distance himself from everyone but something soon enough will change everything.
{Click here for Part 2} It was 1863 when the Western Civilizations started coming over much more to show off their new 'technology' to inspire the Japanese people. It was a bad area in Japan but Satsuma was changing their government to follow an 'Emperor' over their beloved Shogunate. The majority of the province supported the new ways while others didn't... Masa was one of them.
Masa would soon realize that his own family would be at risk of corrupted honor. They were slowly brainwashed into being Imperialized and having thoughts of domination and Masa knew this was wrong for his family to thing so harshly. He remained quiet however. For months, Masa hears of Japan's war with all these clans fighting for Shogunate and Emperor. This was just simply too much for Masa because he knew this was all just a big mistake.
Imperial power was slowly making its disgusting grip around beautiful Japan's throat and Masa felt that eventually this will overwhelm the country into doom. He simply sits by and smokes his pipe with his loving dog and avoiding thoughts about this conflict. However, this will quickly change everything forever.
Masa's father by the name of Yari Kumasaka, approaches him and simply smiles. "Hello, son... My, my, you're as handsome as your own father." He would tell his son. "Thank you, father. Do you need something...?" Masa slowly asked. His father suddenly gets serious, "Son, you are truly a blessing to this family. I think you are ready for the biggest responsibility..." he calmly says. Masa begins to feel excited and honored.
"There is one thing you must do, however my son." his father says. Masa suddenly loses his morale from that. "My son, you must go to war and fight for our family's name for the Emperor!" his father yells. With much shock and fear, Masa's father has betrayed the family's honor officially. It broke Masa down in just one second after hearing that, "Father... I'm not fighting for that Imperialist pig... You have brought so much shame father... Not only to me but our ancestors. Shame on you!" Masa screams and he runs inside the house.
Masa begins to throw his belongings and food for his dog in his small bag. As he finishes packing and begins to walk outside, something suddenly jabs through his chest from behind. Masa slowly turns around and it's his own father stabbing that No-dachi blade his family was honored with. His father sadly looks at him, "I'm sorry but you have brought shamefulness to your REAL family..." and before you know it, Masa suffers shock from his chest being pierced and shortly dies.
Masa wakes up moments later to find himself attached to a chain... A chain of fate? He didn't know but he followed his blood path towards a buried spot. Ironically enough, a no-dachi sword was resting on the dirt he now lies under... He felt the pure shock of fear as he noticed he was actually dead.. Herethe moment of insanity finally moves in. His dog Chow comes to this spot and finds his master's last scent... The dog whines only for a little bit and lays on top of his grave. The strangest thing occurs, his dog dies right there.
Masa slowly falls to his knees, insanity and pain traveled through his mentality. He feels his inner corruption flow outside, consuming him over... This is where vengeance strikes... Blood and screams were heard in the Kumasaka's house... Something was butchering them alive and ripping everything apart...
A day passes and a local metsuke comes inside the house and finds out there's been so much murder around the whole household... He was shocked to see it was done by a beast. By this day, this murdering scene makes history in Japan. But who was this by?
{Click here for Part 3} After slaughtering his family, he felt satisfied and great. He felt like slaughtering everything in his path but at the same time he felt like staying back. He didn't want to completely disgrace himself by slaughtering the innocent. However... This was too much to hold back. Masa would become his inner instincts and slaughter the innocent. His favorite victims were Foreigner men who supported pro-western movements in Japan. A lot of the deaths caused by Masa have been listed as assassinations by the Shogunates but really it's a blood thirsty hollow who wants revenge.
This will change soon enough when he actually is approached by another hollow... It's an odd looking one, one bigger then him. It looks like a frog with a freakish mask on. Masa rests on a pole, watching the creature below. "What do you want, demon?" Masa asks the other hollow. "Demon? Look at yourself, you fucking idiot. You've devoured more souls then any other hollow around..." Masa feels anger in him from his remarks... He flies down quickly, latching his talons inside the back of this hollow. Letting out a incredibly loud roar, Masa strikes his back into his mask, completely becoming the dominant predator over this larger creature... He quickly takes this larger hollow out with just a simple strike on his back. He felt accomplished to take on such a greater hollow.
Strange thing occurs for this, as his body fads, a mystical door opens like a Japanese doorway. These beautiful black butterflies begin to fly out. Masa flies up on top of a building. He watches this occurrence happen and out comes three black dressed individuals... They didn't at all look threatening to Masa but he kept is distance upwards. One of them says, "Alright, thanks for guiding me here guys. I'll take it from here, report back that I've successfully arrived." The black dressed souls that are the sides nods at her, and they both walk back into the glowing door. It slowly closes behind her and vanishes. Masa smells the strong and disgusting spiritual pressure on her but she's weak...
As soon as she begins to walk forward, Masa flies down quickly to strike when she unsheathes her blade and blocks the talon's grip... She bites her lips as the force of Masa is stronger then her's. She quickly pulls the blade back and strike Masa quickly. Masa evades her and flies above her. "Damn, hollow! You flithy creatures are lurking all over the damn place!" she grunts. Masa quickly lands down in front of her, he towers her being twice her size, "What did you call me? A filthy creature? Who the fuck do you think you are?!" He yells and smacking his wing against her. She begins to fly and slams right into a wall.. She twitches a bit from the amount of pain being inflicted. "S-Shit... This has to be the hollow causing these souls to be devoured..." she mumbles... Masa feels hunger rushing through him, but he slowly walks over to the female. Standing in front of her, "Who are you, girl? You smell tasty but I want to know who you are..."
The woman quickly jabs her sword into Masa's left wing. It goes right through, causing serious pain, "You damn bitch! How dare you stab me!!!!" and Masa screams like a bird... Hollows in the area begin to roar in the distance, obviously knowing there is a soul here worth devouring. She begins to panic and pull the blade out of Masa before running for her life. Masa with great rage takes flight and swings his wing hard to cause winds to send her slamming into a building. From this point the woman was wounded badly from Masa's power becoming so much more superior then her's. He walks into the rubble where she lays there covered in building materials. "I will not ask you again, girl.... Who the hell are you?!" Masa demands.. She looks up with blood dripping out of her nose, "I'm... an Enlisted scout... For Squad... Gah... I-I'm a Shinigami..!" she painfully says...
Masa tilts his head in questions, "A shinigami..? How interesting... How will you be if I kill you HERE!" Masa yells and quickly jabs his beak into her chest. The Shinigami screams in agony and everything blacks out from here. Masa doesn't remember what happens next but the next moment after he kills the shinigami he is awakened in a dark forest... Was he just knocked out? Perhaps he was dreaming this whole time? It feels cold and odd. The smell of death reeks the air in these forests. Where could Masa be? Suddenly, giant towering hollows begin to stalk the forests. They all seem identical and yet fearsome in a way.. He was already liking his new home in this odd forest.
{Click here for Epilogue} Slowly inhaling his weed, he feels a sense of peace... Over a hundred year passes and he feels great and well. After his life going through as a hollow was enough for him to last a few more hundred years. He felt a sense of loneliness but it suited him fine and well. Now, he must become dominant once more in the world of Hueco Mundo and everywhere else, as an elite Arrancar known as an Espada. Being an Espada is an honor because you known as the dominant arrancars over many others. Hollows praise you that are weaker then you.
Being an Espada is the greatest award Masa will ever ask for. After all the years of survival and fighting he's done in this horrific place. He was awarded with the chance to survive once more and become powerful over many others. This made Masa feel completely happy but there was nothing more satisfying to him then to finally have peace and no more sudden attacks. Masa will surely be great around Las Noches and even the great Hueco Mundo itself.
He receives all these goodies and such for being an Espada and it's a great feeling but at the same time it's dull and boring for him. He's fought over a hundred years of constant survival as a hollow and for this now to be a safe haven for him is just almost hard for him to think about. Being a hollow was hell because of survival of the fittest. Masa had to devour others for his survival and here is he now just enjoying himself. He for once would smile after thinking about this and would calmly say, "It's that luck the moon gave me before everything went to hell with me life..."

Pain Tolerance (2): How well can you tolerate pain? That depends. With a 1 in this skill, your character can tolerate it enough that they can still keep fighting even if they get small cuts or second degree burns or similar wounds. With a 2, things like third degree burns and maybe basic slashes would be possible to fight through. With a 3, one can ignore the pain of many attacks altogether, including very strong ones. However, only with a 3 can the deepest of torture methods be resisted. And even then, there are torture methods that break Pain Tolerance. Pain Tolerance applies only to physical and not emotional pain.
Weapons [O-Dachi two handed] (2): How good are you at a weapon? Well, that depends on the points in this skill. Most weapon related non-release techniques will probably require a certain skill point amount in this skill, as will many different fighting style operations. When you apply this skill, you go "Weapon: [Name of Weapon]." Example, "Weapon: Swords: [Point Value]." A 1 in this would be adequacy. It's as if you've been training for perhaps a year in the weapon. A 2 would mean you've gotten quite good, having trained for perhaps five years. A 3 would mean that you've achieved a great mastery, having trained for perhaps ten, twenty, or even thirty years. A 4 would allow you a creative advantage in being able to use anime-style creative sword techniques, such as a Kenshin technique. It would however require a huge amount of training. Remember that when you put points in this skill, you must specify a weapon type. You can even use moderate-range categories, such as “swords,” rather than a specific style of swords, but not so broadly as “blades,” which would allow daggers, two-handed swords, etc.
Focused Eye (2): This skill allows the user to visualize and focus on a single entity with such flawless perfection that all other distractions disappear, as if they have eroded away into blackness. When using the Focused Eye skill, the user can blot out all other stimulus and focus only on their target. While this blacks out the whole world except for the target, meaning clumsiness like bumping into a tree is possible, this allows total immunity to an illusion or other similar distractions so long as the user is focused on their target
Bleeding Tolerance (2): This is a very self explanatory skill. Those with points in this can better fight despite heavy bleeding. They can fight longer, with less dizziness, and with continued sharpness despite profuse bleeding.
Learning (2): This is an extremely important and useful skill which delves into how well one learns. How well can you learn from your past mistakes? Those with this skill are quick to be able to figure out problems, such as how to solve puzzles and the like, and are easily able to retain information that they have gained from analyzing over long periods of time, and even use that retained information to make new leaps and bounds of knowledge. Those who are good at learning will usually be the most proficient in knowing about what spells do what and what kinds of abilities belong to different races. They will be the ones with the raw data.
Analyzing (2): How well can your character analyze? Depends on how much you've put into this skill. This skill is a very strategic skill which is used for analysis of events, history, circumstance, and even certain aspects of combat. Depending on the points in this, your character would be able to either moderately or quickly and accurately analyze things that they see. Should your character see a repeating pattern, this skill would allow them to recognize and decipher it quickly. The same would apply to puzzles, ciphers, etc. Motives and people can also be quite well analyzed by this skill, and even weaknesses to the opponent in a combat situation. This is used for analyzing of text, of event, or of information and data. With a 1, one is not bad at it, but could be better. A typical high school student would have a 1. A 2 means someone has gotten far better at it, someone reaching adulthood. A 3 is mastery, and someone who is a strategist for the army or something of the like would have a 3. At a 4? A 4 is unimaginable. Think "Sherlock" level.
Battle Focus (2): This is a focus skill which allows the user to hone in on their enemy for advanced focusing. In a chaotic situation, those with Battle Focus can still see and recognize their enemy, their enemy's actions, and how to combat them. Little distractions do not confuse. This allows the user to focus on every aspect of the enemy, from their steps to their breathing. One can find their enemy through illusions, through invisibility and other cloaking, etc.
