Gaius Magnus was alone in the room with Takara Takeda. Everyone else left, either to go home, or wherever they wanted, or to go and fulfill what tasks were required for the goals of Arm. Several floors below, wild party of Mod souls still raged on, with several stages, DJs and everything. Booze flowed in literal rivers, and many Mod Soul was drunk, and merry, and cared little for what tomorrow would bring. But in that room, were two people. One cared without end about what next day would bring, and day after that, but not just for himself, but for all Mod Souls. Right now, he had to stand between his people, and their annihilation, and the sad truth was that nobody knew it save for a handful of people. Not even a minute ago, he issued an invitation for Takara, to join him in his task. "... Now, I would like for you to accompany me on my task, for it a very special one that I would like you to be present for. Now, main problem is, that your memories have been wiped at some point, same as mine, partially or entirely, to remove certain knowledge from you. Thus, it is going to take a lot of explaining to make you understand what we are actually, you and I. We are not quite the ordinary Mod Souls, I am afraid. But, that discussion would be really lengthy, so I suggest we should just get started while I perform the required preparations, and the rest can be done along the way..."
However, he performed no preparations yet, leaving Takara to sit down while he left to get drinks from across the room, filling two glasses with top class ouzou, there was no better that money could buy as far as ouzo was concerned. He pored them double, no, triple, and then he came to Takara. Just as suddenly as they appeared before, chairs next to hers that held Kaze and Hebika before vanished, and instead, identical one was opposite to hers, with Gaius taking a seat, while a freshly materialized table was separating them. Gaius placed their drinks on the table. Looking at her, she could see his look was still warm, but somehow different. He looked more worried than before, but his voice didn't show that at all. "Take the drink. You'll need it." With that, Gaius swiftly downed his own drink, and got up. Out of his pocket, he pulled out a big red gem, bigger than tennis ball, bright red in color. He held it in his hand, which he stretched out, and his face was seemingly lost in concentration. A few moments later, Gaius retracted his hand, but he let go of the gem, which remained floating in mid-air where he left it. It was obviously supposed to do that, as Gaius turned his back to it and came back to join Takara. He looked at her, and his expression was serious, but one thing be clearly seen by Takara. This man... he has seen a lot.
And Gaius spoke, and his voice was serious, and tired, and worried at the same time. "So many years since that bloody order, and yet, we have done so little aside from surviving. War, and fighting, and flight, and survival, and everything else. War ended so long ago, yet I still have dreams of Koralia, and Ultramar, and of that endless forest in Soul Society. With every night, I wonder more and more, did I lead our kin out of Soul Society just so that we could perish here, in this world of Humans?" Gaius waved his hand. "But here I am, reminiscing about the past. My past is mine to live with, but you, Miss Takara, what remains of your past is extremely important. Before I explain more, would you be so kind to give me some information. First, I need to verify something. Your power is Omega Arsenal, right?" After taking her response, Gaius turned for a little bit, and looked at the gem that still floated in mid-air, glowing red and slowly spinning. He nodded, and looked back at Takara.
"Now, we have some time before portal opens, so please, if you do not mind, I need to know just how much you know. I know you were presented to Captain Commander for demonstration. I must know, what do you remember of before that? And what after? Based on what you tell me, I will probably be able to reconstruct exact chain of events, and fill my own gaps. And I can also tell you about a great many deal of things, things that you most likely have no knowledge of. Regardless, my dear Queen, you need to know the history of your own people..." With that, Gaius looked at Takara calmly. The ball was in her yard now...
