Thread Title: Beggar's Dusk Participants: Amalia & Senshi World: Soul Society Death Setting: Permanent Injuries Enabled Rating: R Location: As the sun sets on Karakura Town, screams can be heard echoing from within a large industrial harbor. A lone soul reaper enters the scene on a mission to determine the whereabouts of a substitute soul reaper who has neglected to respond to inquiries in days. Special Conditions: Circumstances:
"Murder? No, I don't involve myself with anything quite that barbaric. What I do is simpler: I cleanse the world of those not suited for existence." - ✱Paiva "Amalia" Vollbrecht✱
Screamed could be heard from within the harbor, ricocheting off the metal frames of the crates neatly stacked near one another. Pools of blood could be seen in different places. Following the drizzled blood led to pools of blood with severed fingers, the hand no where to be found. Further along another pair of fingers lied in a pool of blood as agonizing groans could be heard from behind a crate. A pair of legs were slowly dragged across the ground and Amalia was found standing over a bruised and bloody body of a soul reaper. "You're running out of fingers, my dear." She said patronizingly. "It'd be wise to simply tell me what I want to know. Is it really worth all this pain to retain such a secret?"
She grabbed the guy by the throat and lifted him up, staring into his good eye. "I understand loyalty, trust me, I do. I, myself, demand it of my subordinates. Even the slightest hint of disloyalty and I deliver quick punishment. In most cases, they die." She glanced off the side before delivering a dismissive expression and flick of her hand. She abruptly threw the shinigami into a nearby crate, causing him to strike his head. He fell to the ground and groaned as he attempted to turn onto his back. She kicked him, turning him onto hi back before kneeling over him. "You're only delaying the inevitable, you know. I'm going to find them whether you tell me or not. It merely makes the process longer for you."
She suddenly sensed something in the distance. A Senkaimon had opened! She turned and delivered a villainous grin to the barely conscious soul reaper. "Guess who's no longer necessary?" Upon ending that sentence she leaned down and touched his clothing. She began to walk away as an explosion erupted behind her. Flames roared from behind several large cargo crates. "I no longer have time for you. I have someone new to greet." She said with a devious smile.

The Senkaimon opened to reveal a redheaded woman with her hair within a long braid tied with black cord as she came alone. On her right arm laid a badge that now signified that she stood as the vice captain of squad eight. She knew why she was here, a disturbance as the Shinigami stationed here were under attack and a large spiritual pressure was evident. Seireitei was still weak in numbers at the moment and was still recovering. Hence, they sent her the newly promoted Squad 8 Vice Captain to deal with the issue. While she wasn’t the most combat heavy reaper, she was going to be damned if she didn’t try her best. She was at the harbor of Karakura Town. Familiar territory.
Immediately, she sensed the gigantic spiritual pressure and there in the distance was the red haired woman standing in full glory with an aura that screamed Quincy. Odayakama Senshi stepped forward immediately drawing her blade before approaching with caution. She had to be careful about this, or else she was going to die. She didn’t need to think twice about that as this woman’s spiritual power was deafening. Upon getting closer, her eyes analyzed that she was affiliated with the Vandenreich. The fire burning behind her was evident as the screams had stopped by now. It was a corpse...a Shinigami corpse. That seemed to be the substitute.
Taking a deep breath, her katana in hand, Senshi had stood as far back as possible. She didn’t want to get near such a fearsome individual. The energy she radiated was drowning...deafening. It made it hard to breath. While Senshi was decently strong in the spiritual arts, Amalia here was absolutely terrifying in terms of ability. Senshi stood twenty feet away before she yelled out loud. “Lieutenant of Squad 8, Odayakama Senshi.” This was all she said as she held her blade in her hands tightly. However, at that moment Senshi spoke once more. “This is another name for you to remember Quincy. Extend above the heavens and fly. Shonin Joka!”
The blade would at this moment glow a crimson red before shrinking down into a three foot long blade as opposed to her normal five. A strong wind would pick up as a result of her release, and in this moment, Senshi stood across from Amalia, worried. Senshi knew she had to release in order for her blade to be effective. There was no possible way that Senshi was going to be facing Amalia without it. Senshi held the blade in her left hand as her right was free. She stood in a loose stance as to allow herself to dodge, counter, and maneuver herself away from harm, what good it would do her. Sweat dripped down Senshi’s face as it was cold from fear. This woman in front of her was something to be feared just from being in her presence.
She had recalled various other opponents with massive spiritual pressures, and she was sure not even the Arrancar Kuroi's Spiritual Power was as powerful as this. Senshi kept her senses sharp as she was weary of what Amalia was capable of. She knew the general powers of the Quincy and such, but she had a feeling this woman wasn't an average Quincy. The redheaded reaper shook slightly before she took a deep breath to compose herself and to cease her cowardice. She was already here, so she had better prepare for the consequences. "As Lieutenant of the 8th Division, my goal is to defeat you here and now." She said that shakily...as if trying to convince herself in her terror. Was she going to die?
That look of fear in those blue eyes were evident, but then they looked determined as she had been able to build some semblance of confidence or determination. She wasn't going to be getting anything done by just standing around. Senshi had analyzed Amalia and that crimson hair and cold blue eyes. There was a devious smile on her face and that worried her. Seeing she released, she should make the initiative. However, she had the feeling if she were to do that, she would die before she would be able to do anything with it. She had to analyze her opponent first. This was the time to prove herself as a Vice Captain. If she failed, she would not be suitable. She would be a failure. She...was a failure.

Amalia turned and delivered a vacant gaze as Senshi crossed over into the human world. Amalia casually examined her new prey, making note of her youthful appearance and child-like features. "Lieutenant of squad 8." Amalia's listless expression shifted slightly as the corner of her lip raised slightly, placing a faint crease in her cheek. Amalia felt a modicum of incredulity for the situation unfolding before her. Did this young soul reaper just announce herself? Amalia raised her eye brow as her grin intensified. The longer she observed Senshi the more amusing she found the circumstances. This child had brazenly confronted her and done what no experienced soul reaper would do.
She recalled her battle with Aevus and how he spared no time for introductions. His methods were precise and possessed much more lethality than this young soul reaper. She hadn't even bothered to contemplate her next move. She was much too enthralled with her opponent's style and attitude. She not only announced herself, but made empty threats with such a weak release. Amalia had seen many Shikai over the centuries, but never quite like this. She had made her intentions known, but failed to follow that with a proper threat. "Such naive innocence." She uttered softly. She began stepping forward, her feet landing on platforms made from reishi. She began to ascend, inching her way closer to Senshi.
Her pace was casual and gait relaxed. "The Shinigami must be desperately short-handed." She jested with a delicate smile. Suddenly Amalia used hirenkyaku and multiplied her speed to 4,000. She effortlessly passed by Senshi and appeared only three feet behind her. "Your reflexes are lacking." She said from behind Senshi. Appearing behind her so abruptly would likely startle the young lieutenant, as was Amalia's objective. Sowing the seeds of doubt and insecurity was to be expected, but she would do more for someone of this nature. Senshi may as well have a symbol for inexperience embroidered on her lieutenant's uniform It was glaringly obvious for someone like Amalia.
Upon appearing behind Senshi and speaking, Amalia immediately exposed her palm and struck her in the back. Amalia applied enough force to send Senshi hurtling a 10 feet, but she would easily be able to regain her bearings on air ground. "You should have used your entrance more wisely" She advised condescendingly. "They must have trained your generation differently. Unless you merely rejected their teachings." Amalia shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes dismissively. While she had caught Senshi off-guard, she refrained from delivering harmful attack. The force behind her palm slamming into her back was enough to cause a quick jolt of pain, but nothing more.
Was Senshi bright enough or experienced enough to understand what Amalia was doing? She was already toying with Senshi, choosing not to take her too seriously. What would such a realization mean for someone like Senshi? Was Amalia's assessment correct? Would she respond like any child, with an emotional tantrum and impulsivity? Or would she surprise Amalia and display a more tempered, well-reasoned reaction? It didn't much matter to Amalia. She knew it would end similarly either way. "You're without a Bankai, aren't you?" She asked gravely. She didn't wait for Senshi to answer, as she already assume the answer to be no. "That's unfortunate for you." As she said this, she unleashed a massive surge of power as her body began to glow. The characteristic veins passed along her skin. The power emanating from her was not Blut Vene, but Blut Arterie. The power exploded from her creating powerful waves of energy that crashed against Senshi's body. With that she launched at Senshi with 2400 speed and punched her in the center of chest, sending her hurtling toward the ground.
-25 movement -50 Hirenkyaku -500 Blut Arterie +800 at end of post =20,200
New base strength and speed stat due to Blut Arterie Strength = 400 Speed =800
Blut, translated as “blood,” is a powerful technique that is passed down through all pure-blooded Quincies of the Vandenreich Empire. This technique is a gift from the Vandenreich Emperor, and only exists as long as he, or someone of similar power who as assumed his role, is alive. Channeling that leader's power through their very veins, Vandenreich Quincy are able to draw upon it and make use of it either defensively or offensively in combat. This technique is not active by default, however, and a cost must be paid to trigger it.
The first half of this technique is Blut Vein, the defensive half of the ability. Acting similar to an Arrancar's Hierro, Blut Vein allows the user to protect themselves on the skin level, preventing any physical damage to the body as long as the user possesses a superior offensive stat. Unlike Hierro, though, this armor will not degrade over time. However, attacks with impact behind them can still send the user flying, though the bodily damage will be negated. Blut Vein costs 300 Reiatsu per post to keep active.
The other half of the technique is Blut Arterie, which focuses on offensive ability. While this ability is active, the Emperor's power flows through the user's body and soul, doubling either physical or spiritual stats. This takes up one of the user's long-term stat boost slots, and costs 500 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Note that only one of these two techniques can be active at a time; if one is activated, the other is deactivated.
How to use technique:
Spend Reiatsu to draw out the latent power in the user's blood.
Technique Drawbacks:
The first major drawback to Blut Vein is that it can be bypassed in one of three ways. First, if the opponent's offensive stat is higher by even a single point, then Blut Vein is ignored. Second, if the opponent is of a superior Class, then Blut Vein is bypassed. Finally, “final forms” of Release, such as Bankai, can ignore Blut Vein.
Blut Arterie has its own drawbacks as well. When active, Blut Vein is removed, removing the user's defenses. Aside from taking up a stat boost slot, the user is constantly funneling excess energy through their body, which is a tiring effect over time. Finally, while active, the user draws in half as much Reiatsu per post as normal, as they are focused on output more than they are on drawing it in.

Well, it seemed she got the attention of Amalia for sure. She turned and began to walk forward and in that moment, Senshi would begin to internally speak an incantation, looking out to Amalia as the older Quincy spoke. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six." She was about to raise her left hand to cast the Rikujokoro, but was stopped as suddenly Amalia vanished using her step technique past Senshi. Senshi couldn’t do anything against a speed like that, and if she was trying to get Senshi nervous, she was succeeding. This woman was a speedster and Senshi had the worst of luck against them.
As Amalia exited her step technique, Senshi her body to look as she suddenly felt a slam from a bare hand on her back, sending her flying into the air. “Ooof!” As they separated, Senshi’s bare right hand would brush against the fingers of Amalia as they separated. Senshi had done this intentionally. As she was sent backwards, she had skid along the air as she used it as a platform just as Amalia predicted. The look in those cerulean eyes was nervous as they stared back into Amalia’s. However, she didn’t say anything else as that would likely only provoke her more. She was being toyed with like a cat plays with a mouse. This wasn’t the first time. The light sharp pain in her back told her that she had to watch her back.
Amalia was acting so casual as if Senshi was nothing but a fly, and in reality she likely was just that...a nuisance. “No...I don’t have a Bankai. Although even without it, it’s my duty to fulfill my mission the best I can.” Every muscle was telling her to get out of here. She was reminded of how July had told her that she would be of no use to him if she were to just throw away her life. However, her life wasn’t worth much anyways. Not as if she would be able to escape from Amalia’s grasp anyways. She held her Zanpakutou, waiting for Amalia to do something...to stop playing with her and just get to business.
Suddenly, there was a wave of spiritual pressure washing over her as Amalia began to glow a blueish hue in color. She was coming! Senshi’s eyes widened in anticipation at the surely incoming attacker. Her left hand was clenched tightly around her blade as Amalia then charged forward at the speed of 2400 from ten feet away...to then try and slam her fist into Senshi’s upper body to send her hurtling away like a ragdoll. However, seeing she was a bit of a distance away, Senshi had time to prepare and right before Amalia’s fist would collide, Senshi used the Shunpo to appear two feet away from Amalia’s right with her fingers pointed. Suddenly, Amalia would find herself in between six golden pillars that would surround her arms and then rapidly pin her in place. Senshi had mastered this Kido and had mentally said the incantation. Hopefully it would hold her for a few moments. At that moment as to prevent Amalia from attacking her powerful Bakudo, she had acted.
"Man, shaped by Divine hands, revert to the form before limbs, clutch at your own throat and be afraid!" Amalia’s arms would suddenly be forced to go behind her back at the Reiatsu Strength of 770 as the golden rods had the strength of 875 assuming they had landed. She would have to first break the bindings of her arms before the golden barrier keeping her in place. If Amalia was indeed stuck in place, Senshi would rush forward in a battle cry with Shonin Joka raised before stabbing outward, bypassing cutback and piercing Amalia’s right arm through the bone as Senshi’s blade had greater offensive stat than her strength. “Tsuzuri Raiden!” If this had worked, Senshi’s blade would channel electricity right into Amalia’s impaled arm causing natural spasms...likely causing the arm to shake and cause greater damage and also to cause Amalia to be unable to think straight for a moment or two.
The electricity power at 700 OS would feel as if she were in an electric chair most likely...if it worked in the first place that is. Senshi would stand there...waiting for the electricity to end before pulling out her blade, leaping backwards as Shonin Joka would go back into it’s sealed state. This was a powerful Quincy and she doubted that was going to kill her. However, hopefully with an arm disabled from the nerves being fried and being impaled, it would be enough to slow her down so that Senshi would defend herself easier. “I’m not the best Lieutenant, but I’ll still try my best to succeed! It’s my job as a Shinigami!” Now...to see what Amalia was going to do.

Amalia watched as Senshi cleverly used shunpo and summoned Rikujokoro. The rods of light struck her body, successfully pinning her hands to her torso. With a blank expression, Amalia glanced over at Senshi. With her experience and instincts, this would have been simple to avoid. Her speed was far superior to Senshi's, but she was amused by her efforts and allowed this to happen. It had been so long since she was subject to the effects of a Bakudo, especially one of this level. Amalia sighed and shook her head slightly. "You must take me for a fool." Her reiatsu strength began to pulsate as it began boring into Senshi. Her spiritual pressure poured as Senshi attempted to use yet another bakudo.
"You're inexperience is showing. You poorly planned these techniques. I am already bound by your much stronger Rikujokoro. Bakado 61 will not yield to Bakduo 1, Sai." Amalia turned her head slightly and glared at Senshi. "You think my power lies alone in my body?" As she was talking reishi was collecting above her and Senshi, forming six black spheres. "This world is the source of my power" Suddenly one of the spheres became ring-shaped and it descended around Amalia like a circular guillotine. Like a black curtain it completely blocked her from view as the sharp surface sliced through Senshi's bakudo. One of the other spheres reshaped to resemble a hand. It swiftly swung through the air and collided with Senshi. The force of her attack would send her hurtling toward the ground.
Being struck by her particle impact would feel like she was hit by a car, considering her RS. The black curtain lifted and Amalia walked forward, her left hand caressing her right wrist. "It was inconceivable that my power was separate from my body. You view this world lacks dimension, lieutenant. Allow me to assist in your edification." Amalia's body was feeling the pain of her techniques, the sensation spreading across her body. It was worth it to show this child the meaning of true despair. That and torturing shingami was a delightful pass time! Using Hirenkyaku she bolted downward toward Senshi. Blut Arterie had greatly enhanced her strength and speed, then allowing her step technique to grant her a speed of 8000.
She glided across the ground and struck Senshi with her fist, driving her body into a nearby cargo container. It had been so long since Amalia had imbued her body with such power and used it to pummel an opponent. She was a sloppy hand-to-hand fighter. She has relative skill, but nothing compared to specialized melee fighters. It was her enhanced strength that truly made these efforts effective. Grabbing Senshi by the hair and yanked her from the crater she had created in the cargo container. With all her strength she tossed her body forward. It was in this moment that her spheres appeared and three of them were now two were shaped like hands and another a fist. As Senshi's body flew through the air one of the black hands swatted at her, causing her body to fling to the left. The second hand batted her back before the black fist slammed downward, causing her to collide with the ground.
Moving at 800 speed Amalia began running across the harbor. Three spheres followed alongside her as the two black hands slammed into the ground, digging into the concrete. They were effectively pinning her hands to either side. Amalia leapt into the air using her 400 strength, in-human strength and joined her feet together as she descended. She was going to land directly on Senshi, crushing her. Suddenly, airground halted her ad she landed just above Senshi. "The fun is just beginning, soul reaper." She said with a devious smile. The hands ground through the concrete and latched around both of her arms, their size extending from her wrist past her elbow. They lifted her from the ground and ascended so she could hang before Amalia.
"I've killed a vice captain before, believe it or not." She said with a grin. "It was a satisfying kill, too. Want to know why?" Amalia leaned in and softly spoke. "Because his suffering lasted hours." The hands began squeezing her arms from the wrist past the elbow. Senshi would feel the blood pulsating in her arms, unable to reach the location of the intense pressure. The pressure slowly became worse and worse. It would feel like her skin was being torn and her bones were breaking. It would feel agonizing as her arms were slowly crushed. Suddenly two of the sphere flattened like a spool of fabric and wrapped around her feet, stretching all the way up to her thighs. The black fabric tightened onto her skin, becoming like a second layer of skin. Tiny needle-like protrusions began sliding into her skin from within the black fabric wrapping her legs and thighs. She would slowly feel these needles pressing against her skin. They were moving so slowly that the sensation was drawn out.
It as not merely a drawn-out sensation, but the anticipation of further pain. She likely couldn't measure the pace of the needles and so she could not determine the extent to which it would become more painful. It was agonizing doubt combined with terrible pain of having tiny needles piercing our legs and thighs. Suddenly the hands holding her loosened and she dropped to the ground. Amalia walked across the airground and stood atop a blue cargo container. "I suppose I can give you another chance." She said with an amused expression. The needles slammed into her legs and thighs, along the whole surface. They pierced her skin by roughly three inches. Just enough to make small, but plentiful wounds. They would begin to bleed, but would not drain her of her blood for a while. Suddenly the black fabric let go of her and all the particle impact items returned to her side. She watched as blood dripped from her clothe. "I'd say you'll like be able to heal some of those wounds naturally, but without treatment you'll bleed out slowly over the course of, oh, three hours. We're having fun now, aren't we, Shinigami?" She said as her cross took in half its reiatsu due to blut arterie.

Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): Quincy Technique
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): Vandenreich Exclusive
Technique Element: Spirit
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): The user densely coalesces reishi into six individual spheres. These spheres are composed of thousands of spiritual particles that are tightly compressed to reduce the overall size of each sphere. While the spheres are smaller than a volleyball at roughly 18 inches in circumference, their sheer volume of spiritual particles comprising each sphere greatly boosts their individual force. Each sphere's offensive and defensive attributes are relative to the user's reiatsu. Each sphere has an individual base speed of 800.
The utility of this technique is not limited to the spherical shape. The user's imagination can greatly inform the technique's versatility because each sphere is completely malleable, offering vast transformative qualities. If the user desires, they can, for example, shape each of the six bodies of particles into large spears or spinning blades, capable of slicing and piercing, not unlike a katana. Due to its malleable nature, it can support flexible movement and is not limited to stiff, static shapes. They take on rudimentary to more intricate shapes, but never become ornate objects like complex guns, cannons, or building structures. The spheres are not simply limited to offensive strategy, but can be used to defend and block incoming attacks. When using this technique offensively, the force of impact can pierce barriers, armor, shields, and flesh and intercept the trajectory of incoming techniques, altering their course. When used defensively, the collections of reishi can be flattened and work together to create a barrier between the user and a technique or stretch and create a dome of protection. It may also be shaped around the users body, taking damage in place of the user. However, normal clash rules apply in both cases.
How to use technique (How is it activated?): By spending 600 reiatsu for the initial activation of the technique(100 for each sphere), and 500 to sustain it during subsequent posts, the user can collect spirit particles and compress them into 6 individual spheres. Whenever the spheres transform into more specific shapes, such as circular blades, spears, or flattened shields, it will require an additional 50 reiatsu to re-shape them. If the user loses a sphere, she may replenish that sphere for an additional 200.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Prolonged use of the technique requires the above 500 reiatsu to be spent during subsequent posts following the the initial activation. Whenever the spheres completely change their entire shape it requires the user to spend 50 for each sphere to change their shape. As mentioned above, the spheres cannot transform into complex shapes such as guns or machinery. Additionally, the user can only utilize this technique at one time during a thread. Meaning that she cannot repeatedly summon six spheres, leaving her with 12+. She can only possess six at a time of the particle impact.

Odayakama Senshi had indeed succeeded in binding Amalia with Bakudo#61, but apparently Sai wasn’t going to be forcing Amalia’s arms to try and force to lock behind her back due to the binds. However, likely her arms would likely still try, resisting against the effects of the rods and perhaps causing strain. Considering Senshi was only three feet away at the moment, the distance between them was short as the redheaded reaper went in for a blow to the Quincy seeing she was immobilized. She really didn’t have the time to be talking at this moment. She couldn’t move anyways! Right?
Senshi had stopped as she saw six black orbs appear above her and in that moment, Senshi had used the Shunpo to evade being slammed in the body with that giant hand of Amalia’s as it would simply slam into the ground causing a small crater with dust to form. When Senshi saw the second black orb in the distance beginning to slice the strong Kido had placed on Amalia, Senshi decided to take the opportunity to prepare. Herself for Amalia’s impending assault. She had to hurry and be swift...because her Kido wouldn’t hold for long. Senshi had used her mastery of Shunpo to appear much farther back on the docks around nearly thirty feet as she prepared her incantation.
“Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky.” At that moment, Rikujokoro had shattered as Amalia stood there. However, Sai was still in effect now that her first Kido was broken, and it would cause her arms to instinctively curl behind her back and lock in place as Senshi continued to internally chant. ” The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower.” In that moment, Senshi looked at Amalia to see she vanished before feeling a sharp pain in her gut that lit her on fire. It shook her very being as she could physically feel a rupture inside her body.
Senshi gagged as blood would fly from her mouth before being sent flying backwards from delay into a metal cargo container. The metal broke from Senshi making an indent, and it was only because of her spiritual durability that she was alive from that. Senshi heeled as blood dripped from her gaping mouth with her hair messily covering her eyes and face now that the cord had been undone. “Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired. There was a cough as blood would splatter onto the floor of the ground. However, there was no rest as Senshi immediately felt a greater searing pain as she was yanked by her hair and thrown as a silent scream was sounded.
In Amalia’s hands would now be several threads of Senshi’s red hair as Senshi’s scalp was ripped from the force with blood trickling down her face. She couldn’t breath. She could only feel pain and agony as she went soaring through the air like a ragdoll. Senshi had felt another pounding pressure as she found herself slammed in midair...and again. When she was smashed down by the third giant hand, now fist...she gritted her teeth as she involuntarily convulsed to release blood from her mouth. Her bones were broken. She couldn’t move...it was that painful. However, she was conscious and she could sense Amalia arriving. She laid there with a blank expression and mouth agape as she tried to breath but found herself unable. Amalia approached...and was going to kill her it seemed. Then stopped. Senshi’s ears were ringing as she wasn’t even aware she was pinned until she felt herself lifted into the air.
Senshi listened to Amalia leaning in as the woman said that the fun was only just beginning. She leaned in...and Amalia had said she had killed a vice captain before and asked Senshi why it was satisfying. Senshi did not look scared, but rather pained as her mouth twisted into several shapes as she tried to muster the strength to speak. Instead, she vomited a small bit of blood onto Amalia’s white clothing. However, Senshi found herself able to finally speak. “W-Well...I can now...feel at peace.” Senshi remained silent for a moment with her lead lowered before slowly raising her head as if building suspense. Suddenly, a almost transparent dome had wrapped around them locking them both inside as ten large spheres of flaring energy had formed inside with them.
“You shouldn’t have underestimated me…” The dome they were locked inside was a Danku that had been mastered and manipulated with Senshi’s Kido skill. “Hado#91:Senju Koten Taiho.” The ten orbs would then crash with such incredible power and in the contained space of Danku that it would utterly destroy both of them and destroy the Danku, causing the blast to expand outward to almost the size of a small nuke. Thanks to the containment, it had spiked upward as compared to outward to envelop both Amalia and Senshi in a hellish blast.
Even if Amalia were to have attacked the dome, it would surely hold long enough for the blast to reach both of them. This Kido was known as one of the most destructive and powerful Kido in all of Soul Society. Why did Senshi do this? Because Amalia made it very clear that she was going to kill Senshi. Also...if she was going to die anyways, she would rather die a painless death as opposed to one that would be torturous. This way, she was taking Amalia down with her. It was because of Amalia’s cocky nature and her hubris that she would pay for this. This...was Senshi’s most gambled move.
Technique Description and Effects: An exceedingly powerful spell, this Kido creates ten points of glowing energy around the user before being fired at the target, homing in on it and curving about to impact the victim from numerous sides. Upon impact from the ten blasts, an enormous explosion of Reiatsu is released, beating and quivering as it devastates the entire region with its sheer force. This technique requires the incantation to cast, but in exchange, its power is equal to three times the user’s current Reiatsu Strength.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Limit of the thousands hands, respectful hands, unable to touch the darkness. Shooting hands unable to reflect the blue sky. The road that basks in light, the wind that ignited the embers, time that gathers when both are together, there is no need to be hesitant, obey my orders. Light bullets, eight bodies, nine items, book of heaven, diseased treasure, great wheel, grey fortress tower. Aim far away, scatter brightly and cleanly when fired” As the incantation is required for casting, there is no bonus.
Creates a clear, very high and wide barrier of reiatsu instantaneously in front of the user. Can be used to block reiatsu attacks, low level physical attacks, and any Kido from numbers 1-89, though this is also still dependent on the user's reiatsu strength.
How to use technique:
This can be cast with mental thought, with hand motions, or with naming it. This requires no special movements for casting.
Incantation and Effect:
The strength of the technique goes up 40% from incantation. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead valued at 140 during incantation.) "Barrier of dust, shield of north, protector of Men! Arise from ashes and reveal our weakness. Dissolve into air and hide our sins! On altars of greed we call you. In graves of virtue we worship you. Bind, scatter, reduce to ash! Cripple, crush, dissolve!"

"Well...I now feel at peace." Amalia's eyebrow raised upon sensing the energy her opponent was weaving. The dome appeared around them, and surely Senshi believed that such a thing could contain Amalia. She had so much to learn as nothing she wielded would manage to subdue her. Amalia ha already proven her superiority, but much like any Shinigami, she had to make sure it was firmly implanted. It almost always required more violence. More suffering. More agony. More screams. And frankly, she wouldn't have it any other way.
Amalia's spiritual pressure began to soar the moment the dome appeared around them as all her spheres returned to their original shape. She leaned down an grabbed onto Senshi as she spoke to her. The spheres sprung forward and slammed through her danku like a brick through a glass window. Despite her efforts, her spiritual power failed to match Amalia's and could therefore not sustain a technique in combat with her own. As the pieces of the Danku shattered and the black masses formed in the air, Amalia used Hirenkyaku to increase her speed to 8000. She rocketed from where she stood, but was not about to leave her prey behind. She clutched Senshi in her arms and carried her off. She was dragged along, at 8000 speed, tossing about like a rag doll.
Appearing in the far distance, Amalia tossed Senshi to the side. The explosion lit up the dimly lit sky as the sun set in the west. "That was a modest display of power, at best." She commented. Amalia turned as the energy from Senshi's technique began to die out behind her. With the outline of her body illuminated from Senshi's attack, Amalia bared her teeth in a wide smile. "You didn't honestly think I'd leave you behind to die, did you? And certainly you knew better than to believe that you would be able defeat me?" Amalia shook her head as she approached Senshi. She slowly deactivated gate as she contemplated for a moment. She steadied her gaze and smiled before kicking her in the side. The force of her kick sent her flying off the to left.
Amalia used movement (2400) to appear in front of a moving Senshi. She stopped her with her foot and then slammed her body into the ground, grinding her heel into her chest. "Surely a lieutenant wouldn't dare to be so bold as to believe she could defeat a member of his majesty's elite angels." Amalia quickly removed her heel and kicked Senshi again, each strike possessing 400 strength. Senshi's body skipped across the ground like a rock upon a pond. Amalia ran toward Senshi and grabbed her by her haori and tossed her with all her might into a large container. In that moment, Amalia's spheres approached and swirled around her.
Two of the orbs flattened and shot forward, wrapping across Senshi's body. They covered everything but her neck and face, successfully pinning her to the metal container. "Kido can be quite formidable, especially if used properly and with an incantation. You have notable skill despite your more obvious flaws. If If I had not amplified my power with gate, I might have lost my precious Teilchenaufprall." She chuckled as she paced in front of Senshi. "Who is the current captain of squad 8? Still that wretched woman or someone new? Honestly, you go through captains like tissues." She said amusingly, brushing her hair back with her hand. She approached Senshi and clutched her face with her hand. She adjust her head and observed her face.
"You remind me of someone, but only because of your preposterous insolence. I can't tell you how often I have wanted to smack her as I have you." Amalia abruptly smacked Senshi across the face, causing damage to her jaw. "I think I might have hit you too hard." She stated insincerely. She smacked sense against from the opposite side, likely causing the young Shinigami immense pain. "Did that fix it?" She inquired before wiping a trail of blood from Senshi's mouth. "You're not as opaque as you allow yourself to believe." Amalia said while wiping Senshi's blood on her collar. Her sphere retreated slightly around Senshi's hand, allowing Amalia to reach in and grab her katana before sealing back up. "Your intentions are as clear and broken as your methods" She said as she tossed it to the side.
One of her spheres changed shape and resembled a giant spear with a long, sharp blade at the end. "You deliver that same expression, that same unyielding stare." As she spoke the altered spheres holding Senshi's body in place began to vibrate slightly as horizontal and vertical lines began moving along the surface. "You want to be of use. You want nothing more than to find your meaning, a purpose for which to rally behind. Some power to accomplish your goals. And, of course, respect and admiration. There is nothing quite as awful as feeling as though your existence means nothing. From my vantage point, it doesn't seem to be worth much." The horizontal and vertical elevations in the black sheets blanketing Senshi's body behind to bore into her body like small needles.
Senshi would likely be screaming, experiencing unbelievable pain. Amalia tilted her head back and closed her eyes for a moment. Amalia was enjoying this moment, listening to the agonizing groans of her opponent. She let her chin fall forward, her eyes locking with Senshi. "I wonder how your captain would feel if you were returned him in pieces?" Suddenly the long spear began rotating and working its way into the flat side of Senshi's katana. It was drilling deep as sparks flew from the friction. The blade began to crack as it slowly drilled. "I also wonder just how much a Zanpakuto spirit feels of the world surrounding its prison?" She asked curiously. "Are they capable feeling the pain you're feeling right now? You have to admit, it is a curious question."
Suddenly the needles retracted and the black sheets began to shape around Senshi's body like armor. Amalia turned and punched her in the face, causing her to fall over. "Well, Senjū Kōten Taihō failed to stop me, so I imagine your shikai won't be doing much of anything." Amalia looked back at it before waving her had, halting the drill. It moved away from the blade as she approached it, looking at its cracked blade. "My life is a perfect graveyard of buried hopes." Amalia said softly before gesturing her hand backwards. Suddenly the black fabric completely wrapping her body below her neck quivered before it encircled her left hand and severed it clean. The black mass immediately shaped around her wrist to help apply pressure and stop bleeding.
Amalia kicked the blade toward Senshi before her black spheres melted off Senshi and all of them returned to their normal shape. As the spheres rotated around Amalia, she turned and gazed at Senshi, her body likely in shock and her screams filling the air. "I know, I know. It ls likely some of the worst pain you've experience." Deactivating her blut arterie she began to walk away from Senshi. "That is your punishment for thinking you could so brazenly attack me with Kido. No matter, you use your right anyway." She turned and smiled at Senshi as blood spouted from her wound. "Actually...I've change my mind." One of her spheres became a long, flexible javelin shape and shot forward, piecing Senshi through the stomach. The delivery was clean as it exited the other side, covered in blood, and returned to Amalia's side. "I was going to let you release and make an attempt that way, but then I remembered...I'm not really the charitable type." She said with a wicked smile and laugh. "If I send you back in pieces, I might as well have your burnt friend over there accompany you."

As Danku formed around both the redheaded Quincy and Senshi herself, she was sure that Amalia wasn’t going to be able to escape from the death prison she formed around herself. However, at that moment Amalia unleashed her crushing spiritual pressure. It was stifling and Senshi had never experienced spiritual energy so crushing before. Senshi’s now dull eyes witnessed the orbs of darkness crash through the Danku like how a knife cuts through hot butter. “I now know that the differences between my strength and hers...is like the gap between heaven and earth. I-I can’t do anything. No...I can’t think that way. I’ll never surrender damn it! Shonin Joka!” There was no answer as Senshi could feel herself being lifted in shock. She was being taken by Amalia instead of being left to die in her own explosion?!
Moving at 8000 speed was something Senshi had never experienced before, and it was a blurring experience, far faster than moving at the speed of 2500. The explosion rang in the far distance now as Senshi was tossed callously on the ground. Releasing a light grunt, she rolled in a circular motion, clenching onto her Zanpakutou. Amalia turned, looking into the explosion claiming that her Hado at best was a modest display of power. She took deep breaths as she felt formidable fatigue in her body. Slowly, she raised herself before stabbing her katana into the ground, to use it as a support as she felt a new trickle of blood leave her mouth. “Modest...display? Is that all I am at best?” Amalia approached, and Senshi could see her lower body tensing, preparing for a kick. What was this feeling burning in Senshi? It was something that spread through her whole body, lighting her on fire despite these impossible odds. Determination.
Raising her hand upwards, as Amalia aimed to strike her side, her leg would be repelled by a small white orb of energy as she would suddenly feel a shock in her body followed by numbness in the leg she had used to assault Senshi thanks to Bakudo#8:Seki. She would find herself paralyzed for a few moments, unable to move her body. “It doesn’t matter if I can defeat you or not! I am Odayakama Senshi the new Lieutenant of Squad 8! I refuse to surrender until I die! Shakkaho!” A large red ball of flame had formed within her palm before Senshi would fire it at point blank range. If the ball of red flame was to connect with Amalia, she would be sent flying backwards with first degree burns along her whole body at the reiatsu force of 700.
However, before Amalia could fully recover from her fall assuming Senshi’s actions succeeded, she would find a golden rope wrapped around her foot, wrapping itself securely as Senshi was still determined to fight back despite facing nearly impossible odds. With the golden rope attached to Amalia’s numbed and paralyzed leg, Senshi used her mastery to physically grasp the rope with the same hand that casted it. She would delay the incantation mentally within her mind as she then sent a rapidly fast moving electricity through the rope straight through Amalia’s body whole body. “Tsuzuri Raiden!” The electricity would channel straight through Amalia as if she were being shocked by an electrical chair. The mental incantation would not bolster its strength, but would simply make the electrocution last twice as long. Amalia was physically powerful, so what Senshi was attempting to do was lower Amalia’s physical ability by wearing her down.
Senshi didn’t know if Amalia’s orbs were controlled via mental thought process, or if they had their own volition. However, she had a hypothesis that it was via Amalia’s thoughts as she manipulated their shapes and movement based off of her whims. If that was the case, then hopefully her electricity running through Amalia would make the orbs stand still. The electricity would continue to fry her as Senshi kneeled, slowly trying to stand on her two feet with her knees shaking. Her abdomen and stomach had the worst of the damage as her internal organs were pained. However, thankfully as a Shinigami she had a more durable body which Amalia surely was enjoying. However, on her end...she was still human. Her body was less durable than a Shinigami’s. “DO YOU HEAR ME?! I REFUSE!”
Technique Description and Effects: Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. This lasts for one post, but by paying the cost of the spell a second time, the duration is increased to two posts.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and touch an object, channeling electricity through it.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the number of active posts this is used for is doubled. (With maximum cost, this can be up to four posts.)
Technique Name: Hado #31: Shakkahō (Shot of Red Fire)
Class: 5
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects: Fires a ball of red energy at a target. The fireball is roughly head-sized and, on impact explodes with force equal to the user’s Reiatsu Strength. This can cause first-degree burns from the hit.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point towards the enemy to release the fireball.
Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 20% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 120 with incantation).
A rope fashioned from the caster's reishi is launched from their hand at the opponent. Upon impact, this then entangles the opponent and ties them up.
How to use technique:
This technique requires aiming with the hand, not unlike any basic Hado spell.
Incantation and Effect:
Incantation causes the robe to elongate and gag even more of the target's body when used, and also ups the Kido strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength of 100 would be counted as 110 instead.) Incantation unknown.
Technique Name: [Bakudo #8: Seki (Repulse)]
Class: [7]
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
Creates a small round shield of typically orange reiatsu along the user's wrist, not unlike small shields used with broad swords. Typically useless against Kido, this shield repulses low level physical strikes, and sends electricity back into the attacker to result in low level paralysis and temporary numbness.
How to use technique:
Can be instantaneously cast, but is very brittle and weak without incantation and name being spoken. Lasts only mere seconds upon creation, and paralysis does not work on those with superior spiritual strength.
Incantation and Effect:
Incantation allows shield to last up to twenty seconds at any one time, and increases its strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini! Look upon yourself with horror and then seize your own throat!"

Amalia's foot slammed into Senshi's surprising attack, especially considering the treatment Amalia had delivered mere moments before. The soul reaper was awfully resilient and possessed impressive resolve. She imagined said traits would be highly admired and encouraged within the Gotei 13. It was a shame she would have to smother her resolve and shatter her resilience as she did best. Then again, such insolence deserved to be punished. Such unforgivable crimes needed to be avenged, and what better way than to teach Senshi an important lesson about her place in this world. She would leave her opponent a broken, lifeless shell. Truthfully, it'd be dishonest to say she didn't enjoy such activities.
Amalia allowed gate to deactivate, lessening the stress on her body. She was placing far too much effort into this battle. Was it because she was bored? Or, perhaps, it was simply because she enjoyed using the powers she was gifted. Whatever the reason, she remained subject to the same consequences, and she could feel it raging throughout her body. Her body became still upon striking the faint orb, which shattered the moment she made contact with it. There were definitely advantages to being a Quincy and it would become particularly clear in this moment. Her Blut Arterie deactivated and blue veins began creeping across her body. She had switched from offense to defense as her opponent readied her technique.
A fiery red orb was unleashed from her opponent as the trademark veins worked along her skin. She didn’t need to move to activate blut vene, it was, after all, power that resided within the very blood coursing through her veins. Senshi possessed nothing capable of piercing this divine skin. All her efforts would prove useless in a confrontation with a power bestowed upon her by his majesty. The flames washed over Amalia’s body as she regained mobility. Her body tore through the flames as if were paper and clutched her by the throat. She squeezed her throat tightly, her finger digging into her skin and drawing blood. As she was reaching through the flames to grab Senshi, her spheres rocketed through the flames and changed shape.
Four of them bubbled on the surface and fired bullet-sized threads at her arms and legs. Amalia having gripped her throat meant she could not parry, as her blut vene halted all her techniques. The bullets were fired at Senshi, but unlike projectiles, they remained attached to the spheres. 18 individual bullets were shot, five for each arm and four for each leg. The bullets slammed through her skin with ease, causing blood to splash across the ground and in the air. The bullets were strategically placed, one piercing her wrist, one piecing her forearm, one her bicep, and the last her shoulder. This was the same for both her left and right arm. The other bullets launched at legs pieced her thigh and shin, four for each leg. This would cause Senshi to collapse, but Amalia was clutching her throat tightly.
“You filthy contumelious peasant!” She growled as she tightened her grip. She continued to speak as the spheres began to retract the bullets like a lure on fishing wire. “Your name mean NOTHING!” She screamed said scornfully in her face. Two of the orbs moved behind Senshi and unraveled into threads of black fabric. The threads pieced the ground, working their way deep into the rock before emerging in a separate location and binding her hands, legs, and torso. The tension between the ground and the threads served to anchor Senshi, binding her in place, each thread giving no slack.
“You dare speak your name in my direction as if it holds weight or power. You may as well be nameless for you possess nothing worth remember. You have not yet earned your title or your name. You are without both despite your superiors lulling you with illusions of deference and distinction. That’s the difference between the Vandenreich and the Gotei 13. We don’t pretend anyone is more than they are. They are treated precisely how they should be based on their rank. We don’t indulge fantasies of prestige and might unless one is truly deserving of them. They might not say it, but they’re certainly thinking it.” In this moment Amalia grips Senshi’s throat tighter as the threads completely bind her entire body, pulling her hands behind her back, almost breaking her shoulders. She whispers softly directly against her face. “You’re not worthy of the title you so proudly announce in battle. If you died today your impact wouldn’t even warrant a vague memory. You’ll be forgotten.”
She released her throat and backed up slightly. She placed her hand on her forehead, having used a number of high-class techniques so close together. Placing her hand on her temple and lightly pressing into her skin, she opened her eyes and glared at Senshi. She deliver a derisive gaze before a faint smile sprung into her lips. The spheres supplying the black thread began to vibrate, sending those vibrations through the threads. Amalia grabbed her blade from her hand and tossed it to the side. “Trust me, you won’t be needing that. It won’t do you any good. Nothing you possess can bypass my Blut Vene, one of the most glorious gifts bestowed upon his Majesty’s children.” Suddenly one of the threads began moved like a conveyer belt and begin slicing into Senshi’s skin.
Amalia was causing the sphere to pump out mass for the threads from one side as it pulled it in on the other, creating moving thread that kept Senshi in place. Behind her back, where the thread was pulling her hands, began to leak blood. Blood began to pool on her cloths and the ground as she would immediately begin feeling overwhelming agony. The thread was moving quickly across her skin, effectively slicing through it like a hacksaw. There was no possible way Senshi would be able to resist the pain she was experience, even with pain tolerance. It was slowly slicing through her skin, tendons, and bone. While cutting her left hand off just above the wrist, the fabric was simultaneously slicing into other regions of her body. It was slicing through her shoulders, thighs, and waist.
Amalia made sure to make the process slow and painful, with her arm being severed off over the course of five minutes. Finally the hand fell to the ground and landed just beneath her. Amalia approached and casually picked up her blood hand before tossing it in the air. One of her spheres released thin thread like tendrils that sliced it into pieces. It scooped up the pieces and delivered them to Senshi. Amalia opened the fabric of her outfit and allowed the bloody pieces to fall into her clothing. “See, just as I promised. I’ll be sending you back in pieces” The threads suddenly began lopping off chunks of skin from her feet, thighs, shoulders, and arms. One even scalped the back of her head, removing her skin and hair by roughly 3inx3in. Amalia collected the pieces and added them to where her hand was finely chopped up. Through her victims screams, Amalia delicately placed the large slabs of skin and muscle.
“I’ve decided to let you live because I want the opportunity to meet you in nearly a year’s time. Maybe you’ll have earned a name by then, perhaps not. If not, though, I will kill you. I won’t show the same level of mercy I am now. Oh, and believe me, your treatment is much fairer than Shinigami I have dealt with in the past. Over the course of our battle, I became fond of the idea of letting you go for the purposes of exploring my hypothesis. I’m sure your captain will be thrilled to see you’ve returned relatively intact. I imagine someone will come and save you if I leave you here, right? I certainly hope so as I am not sticking around.” Amalia turned her back to Senshi’s gruesomely maimed body. Blood soaked the ground and her clothing as the remains of her body lie inside her clothing. “Oh, I almost forgot.” She turned and pointed toward Senshi as a sphere became a spear and slammed through her chest, narrowly missing important organs. The sphere riggled in her body before exiting and returning to its normal shape. The threads released her and her body fell to the ground, her face colliding with the dirt.
“I guess this is where we part ways, Shingiami.” Suddenly one of her spheres smashed down on Senshi’s legs, breaking some of the bones in her feet “I don’t want you trying anything stupid and attempting to stand. That just wouldn’t be wise considering your condition. Enjoy this moment for you had the profound honor of meeting one of his majesty’s Sternritter.” Amalia began walking toward a shadow that was forming on the ground. “I’m Sternritter P, the Particle, Amalia Vollbrecht. Be sure to credit me for my work.” She giggled and winked before stepping into the shadows and dissolving.

For the first part, Senshi had success in repelling the kick that Amalia had sent in her direction albeit barely. Senshi indeed had went through punishment that really very few should be capable of surviving. She was dragged, beaten, thrown around, and was at this point too damaged to do much. She lacked the skill, the power, and the finesse to win this battle. However, she wasn’t going to stop trying until the bitter end. Amalia was likely going to have to kill her before Senshi stopped trying. Either that or put her into a position where she would be unable to resist any longer. Taking Amalia’s moment of stun, Senshi channeled and fired a red orb at near point blank range to Amalia. Shakkaho.
However...what she hadn’t noticed as the ball of flame blocked her sight were the veins running down Amalia’s frame. Senshi had expected Amalia to be blown away. The ball burst into a gout of flame, however Amalia burst from it immediately with a hand outstretched, wrapping around Senshi’s throat. “GAGH!” Her eyes widened in shock as she was suspended with Amalia’s nails digging through her soft neck. “Hi-Hierro?!...” That was all she was able to think as her hands instinctively tried to reach to Amalia’s arm to try and make her let go. That was when the orbs had reacted. Amalia made sure to correct her later on.
With bullets of five entering each arm and bullets of four into each leg, Senshi let out a shrill scream. With the force of 2000 reiatsu, she could physically feel each of them shattering the bones where they pierced as the veins in Senshi’s eyes tensed so much it looked as if they were going to pop. Of course...considering she was shot in the wrist, the grasp of her Zanpakutou was released whether she wanted to or not. The pain was unbearable and it made her mind go numb as she screamed like a pig. As the bullets retracted, blood spewed from those wounds as Senshi gasped for air! AIR! MAKE THE PAIN STOP!
She heard the words that Amalia said...as she was bound from the black threads of the orbs. She couldn’t speak as threads bound her arms and legs simply because Amalia was clenching so tightly, she could feel the strain on her windpipe. She could feel the threads binding more and more of her until her arms were pulled back. Senshi felt a sharp snap as her already broken arms were pulled back and out of their sockets. Senshi nearly fell unconscious right there. However...she wasn’t allowed that even as the tight grasp on her throat grew even tighter. “I will be forgotten?” She thought about that as her blue eyes were losing light quickly as her face was turning blue.
Suddenly, she could breath as she felt herself released. Sweet breath. However, as soon as she took one gulp in...she was being skinned alive. There was silence for a mere moment as Senshi seemed to be choking on air. The black threads were cutting her apart! A scream so loud had filled the area that it made a Hollow’s cry of agony seem like a temper tantrum. Senshi’s screams of agony were so loud that they filled the air and also Amalia’s ears as it rapidly changed. She would have squirmed, screamed, did everything in instinctual reaction only to feel greater agony. As her left hand was cut off, she couldn’t even comprehend what was going on as she looked at the bleeding expanse that was her wrist. Screams, screams, endless screams as she was being mutilated. “RAAAAAAAGH! AAAAAAAAGH!” As Amalia put chunks of flesh, bone, tendons, muscles, and more into Senshi’s robes, she stopped moving. She stopped doing everything. She slumped as she shook her head left and right rapidly. “NO NO NO NO NO! KILL ME! KILL ME!” She didn’t want to return like this! The pain was consuming her as she wasn’t listening to what Amalia was saying.
As a result, that was when a spear stabbed into her chest, breaking her rib cage and it pierced through her back before it slowly wriggled and then popped out. Senshi didn’t say, think, or do anything as she dropped to the floor facedown to the concrete. A thunk as blood continued to pool around her. When the spheres came and smashed down on her feet, she didn’t react. It seemed to be she was dead. Either that or she finally reached unconsciousness, but more likely dead. Amalia disappeared and Senshi laid there. She laid there until someone came to report two dead Shinigami and was ordered to bring them back for autopsy only to discover Senshi was lucky or perhaps unlucky enough to survive.
