Training for TTP
She called down the ship, her legs folded, her feet resting up on the display as she could feel the heave and the curl of the Ship as it sank down, the dwindling hiss of the garganta behind them like static in her mind until at long last it closed, and that subtle tremble in her head ceased. When at long last they landed, she rose to her feet and paused, glancing at Schroger as he gave her a look of concern. Tsajara had up and left. And something that connected her to that insufferable woman told her that they weren't coming back.
"You don't have to do this."
A soft smile played across t hose young lips, and Nira looked to the man she was happy to call her and Tsaja's second-in-command. She gave him a fond stare, one that seemed to further remove him from his comfort zonr, the look of concern fading as he glanced sheepishly off to the side. A gentle little laugh spilled from Nira's mouth, and she couldn't help but reach out and gently grasp at the man's face, a soft humm escaping her as she looked upon his face, taking just a moment to admire him before she let go and rose to her feet, brushing herself off as she began marching firmly out of her Cabin.
"Yes I do. The Heart of the Judge cannot be split. Order has to be Kept. For the time being, my duties will fall to you, my Quartermaster. This is your ship now." She noted softly, and ran her fingers across that crystal table, and the consol shuddered as the ship shifted, accepting the commands. The woman then turned, looking Schroger and shaking her head slowly. "The Sands will still have their shining star. An old dwarf like me shouldn't be keeping my foot in my Better half's position." she stated softly, making her way down through the decks, noticing the concerned look of her crew before at long last she came to the jetty and she slid down, her boots hissing along the surface before she dropped down to the grass below, and she cast a wayward look up.
She could see him up there, looking down with those sad eyes. Truth be told, ever sinde Tsajara had left she had felt different. It wasn't like she had expected. She didn't particularly miss Tsaja. It wasn't that. Nor did it feel like she was missing some part of herself. Without Tsaja... it wasn't as if some big hole had been gouged inside of her. But rather, that one had been uncovered. As she watched the ship vanish into the nothing, she on her own left in that big loneliness of the rukongai, she stood quietly, looking up at that big sky, and pausing as she began to look around.
She had realized that she had been empty for a long damn time. When Tsaja left, there was no fresh wound. But just something she had been dragging around for....what felt like ages on end. When she reached up and gently placed her hand over her chest, and really became aware of her own body, she felt a shudder like her mind trying to glaze over something, trying not to look directly at...THAT. In truth, she had always been just a vessel. When she'd merged with Tsaja, it had been like taking on some new pampered life. She had never really DONE anything. She had never really BEEN anything. She had been an accessory.
She sighed, shaking her head and looking around her, staring at the surroundings of the wilderness, so far away from hueco mundo, so far away from the shinigami. It was a band of emptiness. That belonged only to the beasts. Creatures broken, just like her. The feel of her own flesh was strange... she felt a tremble, and her body bled static, a fuzzy sensation that made her pull her hand away and hiss softly.
She stared up and looked to the mountains. To those big empty canyons. And she began to walk. To the void between those big giants. She wanted to be there. She wanted to FEEL it. She wanted to know....if it felt as empty as she was. The feeling that wasn't in her body, but in her being. She wondered if those mountains felt just like her. She wondered what was inside of that big emptiness. She had no responsibilities now. She had no crew to worry about.
She was truly alone.
It was time to find out who she was.
