I've ran into another problem (Hopefully the last), so I decided to create another thread. I have a few questions about reiatsu. 1. Where can I find information about the amount of reiatsu a player has? I don't want to give my Shikai an ability which costs 250 reiatsu, if the maximum one can have is 300 for example.
2. How long does it take for spent reiatsu to recover?
3. What is the difference between reiatsu strenght and spiritual pressure?
4. And why should I invest in those stats if I have an already determined amount of reiatsu anyway?
If I have overlooked a guide, please tell me, because I feel kind of dumb for not understanding this.

If you look in section 7 in the mechanics, you can find spoilers explaining each stat in detail. But to answer your question, the amount of reiatsu you have is based on Spiritual Pressure, SpPr. Basically your taking the base stat and multiplying it by 10 so 300 sppr would be 3000 reaitsu.
The difference between reiatsu strength and sppr mainly is that RS fules all reiatsu techs while sppr only counts during a release. Sppr is primarly your reiatsu pool, while again RS is the power behind all reiatsu, or spiritual, attacks. . That is the basics about them as I understand them hope this helps, or someone can correct/elaborate better

Something else that has been bothering me though, is the 3x base stat, does this mean that if I start with 50 speed, I could only ever achieve 150 in total?

No. It means that you can only ever artificially boost your speed (such as via techniques or abilities) by a maximum of 3x, excluding Step Techniques.
So basically, if you have 50 speed, you cannot boost your speed above 150 without first increasing your base speed.
However, if you raise your base speed to say..... 200, then your maximum "boost" limit is 600.
And so on and so forth. The only hard cap with regards to base stats is that none can exceed 400 before Type bonuses.

Unless you're Beast Clan, which changes the caps on Stats.
