Open session for those wanting to train; Training for CTP
So, here we are again. Rolling herself back onto the open courtyard the Shinigami decided to put a bit more effort than her last attempt. Fortunately she managed to wake up before everyone else. She could tell the dawn was going to emerge very soon due to the newly made dew droplets in the air. That fresh scent that only came from a new day, instead of the musty air that was usually made from heated bodies and the damn hot sun. Damn, sure was brisk this morning. Perhaps it was thanks for her uniform that made it all the more colder than it was suppose to be. Unfortunately for her she couldn't warm up in her room before coming out. Seems like the Officers of her Barracks didn't like having to come to her room to stop her from flopping about everywhere. She was making too much noise for them, and everyone else to sleep.
Any who, back to what her primary focus was, reiatsu. Okay, so her attempts in trying to fly were a no go. Turns out that she really does need her legs to help maintain altitude and to keep herself stable. Plus, it helps to lift up her lazy body. So, it meant that she had to find other ways to help compliment her condition. If only things were lighter than what they appeared to be, or perhaps, didn't exist at all. Maybe there's a thought. Well, just like what that face painted Shinigami Captain showed her hometown once, magic can help fix any situation. Kido was her answer. Or at least a means to getting to what she wants to achieve.
She had an idea at least. From what she can start with was her release and control over her reiatsu, and perhaps applying it to the environment. First things first, tracking herself back to her own teaching. Taking a deep breath the Shinigami sits back and eases her muscles. Well obviously reiatsu doesn't reside in the muscles, but a force that is mustered up by both mental and spiritual strength. So in other words, the strength of heart, and the strength of will. First of all, she couldn't be rushing for results. Rushing such things meant making mistakes and that was something that she didn't want to get into from the get go.
So she did. Taking in a deep breath the Shinigami eased herself into a meditative state. The soothing calm of the environment made it all the more easier for her to tap into her fountain of reiatsu. Her ears keen on the whistling of the morning birds, singing their sweet melody as the sun rose from the horizon of the Seireitei. She could feel her reiatsu flowing. It seeped out from her body and into the air around her. It felt good. As if it too was brimming with life. The essence that protruded was soothing. Calm, relaxed. While for some it was difficult to produce reiatsu without some form of medium, for Aoi it was almost like second nature. Yet it was her disability that made it tasking to manifest it into physical matter. Now this was where imagery came into play.
Picturing would have difficul-, well, still is difficult since Aoi lost her sight at a young age. Slowly consuming the light in her eyes much things may have changed over the course of her livelihood in Soul Society. Which meant that things that she expected to be may or may not have changed. Hopefully that they didn't. Regardless, she'd continue this pursuit in the hopes of bettering herself altogether. Thus, Aoi flexed her reiatsu. She had to figure how far she can go with it. How far could her reiatsu expand, in addition to its applications. Maybe she should get some help from the Kido Corps.
