His light body moving downwards to the surface of the arena floor as it he was a weightless feather just floating above the surface of the battle field Tsukuyomi watched Senshi closely as his two moons converged on her from different angles. He had to question himself on whether this was going to be enough and whether or not he could quickly form another new moon and send it forwards directly at her. However, the young Kawada felt that his time using Mikoto against Senshi was coming to an end and it wouldn't do him much good to actually start using her to his utmost limitations.
He had been testing Senshi from the beginning more interested in actually finding out what her abilities and talents happened to be and whether or not she was strong enough that the rumors she had been able to stand against Grodd were true. From this battle Tsukuyomi was positive that the rumors could be true as Tsukuyomi had confidence that if it came down to it he could hold his own against Grodd as well. He could see in these next few microseconds the pupils of Senshi's eyes noticing something on the ground in front of her as they moved and then her head turned as well. It seemed that she was skilled enough to take notice of his moons even as they got ever closer to her.
There wasn't much time left as the moons enclosed on Senshi and Tsukuyomi could feel his toes make contact with the surface of the battle arena as the rest of his body settled down gently only through his experience and grace as an acrobat allowing him to seemingly land as if he had never left the ground yet was simply bending slightly. It seemed that Senshi was calm enough to speak in this situation as she expressed her view that this battle was going nowhere as neither of them could seemingly land a blow against the other. However, it seemed that she had grown confident in her defense enough to believe that Tsukuyomi wouldn't be able to reach her.
The white moon that was positioned to come down upon Senshi from above was reaching just a few feet away when Tsukuyomi watched one of the long tendril like blades that had been forming the bird cage defensive position for the majority of the battle cut the moon in half like Senshi had done to the previous moons. Although something was different this time and yet it didn't seem that Senshi was going to notice or pay attention to that fact. Tsukuyomi wasn't moving away from the position that he was standing in nor was he making another move towards her or away or even creating another new moon to use as an attack. "One last test Mikoto and we'll see if she's ready." Tsukuyomi spoke within himself to his zanpakuto spirit as he silently watched.
It seemed that Senshi was going to use the cut in half moon to try and deflect the charging Harvest Moon yet as she threw the two pieces of the destroyed moon she'd have to watch as both were cut into tiny pieces as they got close to the green moon. In all actuality even the long tendril like blades that Senshi's zanpakuto seemed to become were being cut by the aura of the Harvest Moon the problem was though that Tsukuyomi's offensive strength wouldn't be enough to cut through any of them or else this battle wouldn't have lasted this long.
Senshi's tactics were observed over the length of the sparring session and how she had defended herself against the previous moons was the same way that Tsukuyomi felt she was going to defend herself against the Harvest Moon by relying on the blades of her zanpakuto and not employing kido. However, it seemed that she wasn't going to allow Tsukuyomi to simply stand there as she held out a finger and Tsukuyomi had no choice, but to make his move while he still could. Stepping to the left while with a flick of his wrist Tsukuyomi caused Mikoto to shift from behind held in a standard manner with the blade held outwards into a reverse grip. In that next instant everything about the battle changed.
The kido bolt of lightning that Senshi had cast outwards had been fast enough that while Tsukuyomi's speed was enough to get him out of serious harm it wasn't enough to get him completely out of the way. The bolt of lightning had been strong enough to pierce through his right shoulder just above his lung causing a large amount of pain that could only be fought back and suppressed by Tsukuyomi's calm and calculating mind. As the bolt of lightning traveled through the air though Tsukuyomi's Harvest Moon would seem to disappear as he utilized the Shikai technique that no one aside from his Captain knew about known as Lunar Dance. Senshi had been planning on blocking off the green moon with her blades yet they would be ineffective due to the excessive speed of the Harvest Moon while it danced through the air towards Senshi.
The moon would move at a speed of 4500 making it so fast that Senshi's blade might as well have never moved in the first place as it simply closed the distance to Senshi just as the lightning bolt was cast from her finger tips. Tsukuyomi might have been struck by her kido, but Senshi would feel her back crushed by the physical form of the moon slamming into her at a speed that would cause grave damage to her spin and flesh. However, that wasn't the only thing as the Harvest Moon would reap her body. The aura of the moon covered Senshi's entire body as it slammed into her causing various deep cuts all over her body from the very moment of contact onwards.
Senshi would more than likely without any sort of deterrence be sent flying forwards from her own defense outside towards Tsukuyomi as her body was cut to ribbons by the aura of the moon. However, Tsukuyomi felt that this battle had gone on long enough and that the onlookers had more than seen the fill of a battle between two Shinigami on the level of third seats. Mikoto would suddenly turn back into the long katana causing the Harvest Moon to vanish from Senshi's back and cease the constant cutting effect. Sheathing Mikoto Tsukuyomi would actually show concern which was something that very few would have ever witnessed up to this point as he quickly made his way to Senshi.
He'd overlook her body as without a doubt there would be cuts all over it causing a massive amount of blood loss yet not enough to keep her from moving yet it was smarter if she didn't as these cuts were all over her body. Taking his top off leaving only his vest Tsukuyomi would place it on Senshi and if she wished or seemed to be having trouble he'd try to tie it around her both to clot the bleeding and cover her up further as her own clothing would be revealing a fair amount even though while pretty what was revealed would appear to be nothing more than crimson life. "You fought well Odayakama. You're more than adequate for the position of a third seat. If you ever wish to spar again you need only ask."
While Tsukuyomi spoke to Senshi he tried his best to ignore the fact that now with the battle over and his attention and adrenaline dying down he was losing the feeling in his right arm. It was actually something bad that would have spelled trouble for him if the battle had continued. While he could use his left hand just as well Tsukuyomi always felt that more options was best in combat and without his right arm his options went down drastically. He'd wait along with Senshi for the medics of Division Four as they would be more than able to heal his shoulder along with the cuts that Senshi would have suffered. It seemed strange to him regardless though that lately there were so many promising individuals, but at least this one wasn't a bitch.
