This time, Irina acted quickly and skillfully, delivering a strike at Kazura's exposed wrist as soon as the match started. He had to concede the point, as she kept him away with agility rather than the larger movements of kendo form. She was shifting into her natural fencing as opposed to copying/learning Kazura's kendo style. Which was great! Kazura felt pride swell up as she scored a point, but he also felt... mischievous. He couldn't let her win 2-0, after all. He had to at least score 1 point so the total score would be 3-2 in his favor. That is, if she scored a second point which was likely given her skill.
"You're going to want to watch this next move carefully." Showing off with a wink, again, Kazura moved towards Irina, but his step didn't hit the ground. Instead, it landed on thin air and his next step went higher, like he was climbing stairs in thin air. Jumping off these stairs, he flipped and landed with the end of his bokken aimed for the top of her head. "Men!" Following that, he'd step backwards and blur again, but this time without the pillar of light of Bringer Light. He moved quite a bit slower than that move that appeared like teleportation. "There are a great many other techniques that will allow you freedom in combat as well. Such as Movement which will raise your speed without straining your body as much."
Sword held aloft in a defensive stance, Kazura made sure to watch his wrists and keep his elbows tucked in so that the former weren't exposed for another strike. He continued to talk, though, while keeping his sharp instincts paying perfect attention to everything. Especially the sounds she made as she moved and the swish of the blade through the air. She had caught him off guard once, but would have trouble doing it a second time. "A question I try and ask all of my employees. What do you feel is your greatest strength? You can think about it, but I'd like you to tell me before too long. Doesn't have to be today since I've given you a lot of new information to take in."
