Ruhe Krieger a young girl in the cobbled streets of Copenhagen had been sitting in the nice shade of a tree this fine day on a bench. She had been flipping through a book known as, "The Shadow Thieves." It was a certainly interesting book and she could say she partially relates to the main character. This bit of land was still under jurisdiction of the Krieger family and the Quincies living on it. Putting a book marker into the story, she would shut the book and would neatly put it into a small satchel. The girl had looked to the bright sun in her patch of darkness as she stood. "What a beautiful day it is. I think I'll go and have a stroll through town today? I need to return this book anyways." She had talked to herself as it was a bad habit of hers, but she wouldn't notice such a thing. The girl had calmly walked through the streets of Copenhagen as she wandered from the territory she knew as home.
Ruhe's father was the lord of this territory and several quincy families had been taking refuge in his land forming communities. One might think that Ruhe being the daughter of this man would be spoiled and arrogant, but in reality very few may match her humbleness. The neglected child of the Krieger family, and the only one without knowledge nor skill of how to use Quincy powers. She had been trying to learn how by herself but had only learned a single abillity known as Hohle Schneide through her efforts. As such, Ruhe was essentially a normal human being with only a strong spiritual power to say she was different. She was an innocent child and lacked the know how of the world and how it worked. It was her summer vacation as she was enjoying herself through the world of books.
Ruhe Krieger had been walking as she had stopped as she heard a loud howl in the distance. What was that odd noise that pierced the air? Whatever it was, it definately wasn't natural, and she felt a shiver down her spine as she continued to walk down the road to the library. The loud howl had pierced the air yet again as this time the noise was even closer than before. Ruhe had turned and had seen a floating black creature in the sky with a white mask as it had turned it's head to Ruhe's direction. The young thirteen year old child had felt an unnatural fear torwards the creature looking downwards at her as soon, she heard multiple howls now. From down the cobbled road, she had seen several black creatures with white masks and different patterns. As she stared at them, they began to run her general direction.
Ruhe had been terrified. No, to say terrified was an understatement. One had been a large centipede with an abnormally large face and scythes for hands. Another was similar to a spider like creature with incredibly sharp legs which was chinking the sidewalk. The third was the odd floating hollow which was mostly shaped like a sack with a mask which could open at the mouth. The fifth was a shape of a giant eight foot tall giant with a single eye between his mask. She had been running in the wrong direction as she was running farther away from home. To anyone with a skilled energy sensory, they would sense Ruhe Krieger's potent spiritual energy as several more howls had formed. Ruhe had ran as far as she could until eventually she had been too tired to continue. She wasn't the most physical of children. She ended up in a dead end alley.
Realizing she had nowhere to run, she had held out her left hand as she spoke. "Smite the enemy with hollow steel. Hohle Schneide." A blade had materialized in the standard shape of the Quincy cross as the Hollows had been amassing torwards the tasty snack. Ruhe had taken the most crude and pathetic novice sword stance at this moment as Ruhe did not have any combat experience. The young blue haired girl had been more than prepared to defend herself if need be. Ruhe had no idea what those masked creatures wanted, but it seemed from appearence that they were not friendly. May God save her soul from these monsters. The Hollows very simply wanted to devour her for her spiritual pressure, and so they would sprint doubletime as the Hollows were eager to eat the child. She had only been 4,5 and some of these creatures more than doubled her height. The terrified girl had her eyes widened in fear as she would then hold her free hand over the silver cross she wears around her neck. "Mama! Papa! Older Brother! Please save me and take me home." Each time she spoke, it had turned into a more silent and desperate plea for something she knew would never happen. She would have to defend herself from these monstrosities.
She had seen an overly large hollow hand grab the corner of the alley as a large masked face had showed itself. The young girl had widened her eyes and began to shake in fear as she saw the sinister smile. Her blood turned cold as the hollow had taken a single step to show it's full body as it's teeth looked extremely sharp. The young girl began to pray in German as she was backing up further and further away until her back brushed the wall. The hollow had simply stared at her as it enjoyed her feeling of fear and distress. It would get bored eventually, but it enjoyed watching the child look like she was going to cry any moment before eating her. Ruhe had clenched her blade handle tight before she had stood her ground. She tried to shake her fear away. She would live...she didn't want to die. It was then that the hollow had finally gotten bored of watching the quivering brat, and it lurched forwards to devour her with a loud hollow cry.
