Ah, Raygin "Kawada." The resident prankster of the Kawada family was a likable enough sort, if a bit annoying at times. Even more importantly, he had a sort of fame to him. Just looking at his combat record was a testament to his prowess. Vice-Captains, a Fraccion that later became an Espada, a Captain. It seemed that the man was a worthy addition to the Kawada, despite his habit of pulling pranks on just about everyone.
However, to look at him now.... Well, suffice to say that Raygin was now a broken man. The Vandenreich had seen to that. One of its so called Holy Generals had inflicted horrific injuries upon the former Vice-Captain, and had literally killed his Zanpakuto spirit. What was worse was the physical complications, the damage to his heart. Any strenuous activity would be all but certain to kill him, meaning that he was forced to retire from the military force, from being a Shinigami.
However, he was far from the first Kawada to retire from the Gotei 13.....
Ray would hear a soft knock on his door, a surprising sound to say the least. Most of the Kawada family was not exactly what one could call the sociable sort, seemingly preferring a haughty attitude and overwhelming ego to simple discussion. And those who did try to be sociable tended to be a tad... overbearing about it, to say the least. Katrina was a prime example of the latter, with her unseemly obsession with Raygin. Still, she would have probably snuck in through a window, not knocked.
"Hello?" a muffled voice said from the other side of the door, followed shortly after by a knock. IT sounded someone feminine, soft, and distinctly non-Katrina "This is Raygin Kawada's room, correct? I would very much appreciate having the opportunity to speak with him, if that is good?"
