Miranda’s default expression is one of attentiveness and vigilance, even when off duty. Her eyes are a steel grey to reflect this. Despite the spritely attentiveness, the sparkle of her eyes may suggest, one may also see the exhaustion that hides behind that particular veil. Frost’s eyes also show the curiosity of one inexperienced in her position, despite if that may be true or not. During a battle, it all gets wiped away. Only her opponent reflects in the silvery grey of her eyes.
Her face looks just as inexperienced as her eyes may sometimes suggest. Not a single scar (From the initial two years of existing as a shinigami.) exist on her smooth flesh. Her lips default at a slight, content smile. It isn’t common for her to have a layer of crimson lipstick coating them, but she does hold a preference for that color for more formal occasions. Her teeth aren’t spectacular but are well kept and healthy.
Frost’s hair is a bleach white hue, bordering on a silvery color depending on the lighting. The long strands fall to her lower back, with a few lingering locks occasionally resting just above her breasts. Whether on duty or left to her own devices, she does her best to keep it well kept and straight, though there may be times where it’ll become a bit rougher than usual. Her hair is thin and easily manipulated, though she doesn’t do anything spectacular with it. Before a decisive battle, she’ll often cut her long hair to her neck. After all this gives the enemy less to grab onto than they’d like.
Miranda is around 5’6” with a slender build, but lean build. Looking over her body under the right lighting, one could see her slim, but sculpted muscles, a result of her regular training. Her skin is fair and smooth. She lacks any scars over the entirety of her body; she lacks piercings, tattoos, and anything else that may mar her skin. She isn’t even often seen wearing make-up. Despite the somewhat flawless appearance of her flesh, her hands are perhaps less so. Calluses can be found lining the bottom of her feet as well as her hands, as a result of her hard work and general dislike for shoes, or anything that cover her feet in that matter. Her nails are never seen extended past the end of her slender fingers.
Wardrobe-wise she is often seen wearing the standard shinigami shihakusho. She keeps her uniform crisp and inspection ready whenever possible. It offers no deviations from the standard uniform as of yet but she often seen ditching the traditional shoes provided with a said uniform, often opting for none at all. As far as personal clothes she isn’t quite picky and could be found in a variety of dresses and casual clothing. Simplicity is often preferred when deciding what to wear at a given time.

+Bad Table Manners: As she's from a poor family both in life and in afterlife, she appreciates the food she eats and the environment she enjoys it in. She'd like to see others share her appreciation.
+Shoes: To her, shoes can be suffocating and uncomfortable. She'd rather not wear them unless necessary.
+Lies: In her eyes, honesty can make life simpler and lies simply make it more complicated. The less red tape, the better.
+Tension: Tension between comrades can be uncomfortable and even unnerving, especially when one may share a shift or quarters daily with them.
+Excessive Gore: a little blood here and there didn't hurt anybody. However a puddle of blood, guts, and various parts can set her off. Such things can bother her to the point of disrupting her combat ability.

Failure: Failing is like a bad end to a good book. It leaves the reader dissatisfied and with a wrenching feeling in ones core. As Miranda's confidence in herself is fairly high, failing in even the smallest task can devastate her self-esteem
Death: Whether her life or of those around her, death frightens her to the point of desperation. Note: It might be worth mentioning that death by her own hands overshadows just mere death. In times of crisis she'd be able to cast aside her fear, but only at the cost of emotional wounds.

Overall Personality:
Miranda Frost is a kind soul seeking to be of use to the world. Failing to protect what had been so precious to her and instead doomed it all to destruction had moved her in ways she couldn't understand herself. Through failure she gains determination to make sure such a thing never happens again. It is a determination not easily broken but if/once it is, her spirit goes with it. When this happens, it is if she is bearing the weight of all that ever was on her shoulders. It is a deep depression, though nothing drastic will ever come from it. Like with most things she'll recover and try again until she succeeds.
Believing to be weak, she seeks to become strong. However this isn't specifically exclusive to power alone but also in mind and spirit. She strives to become an immovable rock and a banner of inspiration for others like her. To her, emotions, whether they be good or bad, are contagious. If she can appear as confident and happy about her situation, then others will take example.
Although the above traits are important to her, her personal honor tops it. It is a big deal to uphold one's responsibility, loyalty, and vows. When all is stripped away, only her honor as a Shinigami will remain. When asked for help, or if she sees another struggling, she will usually lend a hand or two. For times when vows overlap and contradict each other, the oldest one will usually win out. Most times it isn't quite this simple and takes hard deliberation.
Generally Miranda is good-natured, but like most others she has the potential to commit evils she normally would not do. (Thank you Kingdom Hearts for this. Think :"The closer you stand the the light, the bigger your shadow becomes"). Her vows and loyalty to her superiors could lead her down their path, even if their path is shrouded in dark and evil intention. Also though she can be seen smiling most of the time and seem as if she is living without a care, but this is only due to eh, "Bottling Up" her emotions until a critical moment such as a battle or training session to properly vent.

Fighting Style:
Miranda's fighting style is somewhat not recommended in the academy and in some cases goes against certain virtues shinigami have in combat. For example she hardly ever fights an opponent who's guard is down or rather "have their back turned". If she wants to win she'd fight them from the front. Generally her blows and strikes are to incapacitate rather than kill, but one shouldn't underestimate her ability to deliver lethal blows. She simply would not rather it come to that point. Hollows/arrancars are exempt from this.
In her zanpakuto's sealed form, she fights using the stock format taught in the academy. Her style is aggressive rather than defensive, focusing more on quick decisive strikes and parries with the flat or blunt of her sword, or its edge when necessary. She is not above taking a hit so that she may deliver a strike, even if it would only weaken the enemy for another comrade preparing a final move. Her moves are instinctual rather than intellectual, even more so when she's enraged.
In its released form, her zanpakuto condenses down into a pair of black gloves, meaning her normal swordsmanship style does not apply here. Until she recieves more training (will request to have this edited after a little hand to hand training), Her skill is a little unrefined but revolves around getting in close to use her release techniques close range, then retreat back to fire off a ranged move such as her javelins or kido and repeat the process.
Zanpakutou Spirit Appearance(Optional):[/b]
Her -anpakuto spirit changes appearances radically between forms. In its sealed state, her spirit is a decayed corpse upon a stone throne. It doesn't speak verbally, but it is tied certain memories within her soul. He represents the unlikeliness of her dreams ever to pass. Should she ever get past her childhood and her inability to protect her family, Yogure speaks his name. Continued mental conditioning with Yogure will permit her to know his second name (shikai), Towairaito.
Towairaito herself appears as a younger version of Miranda's mother (in the picture above). She represents all of what was expected of Miranda, and all that Miranda herself expects of herself. For the most part she is cold and unforgiving, requiring success at all odds. She is a tough teacher, but all the hardship is required to prepare Miranda for her Bankai visage.
Yoru's appearance
Yoru appears as an older, war-torn version clad in the black coat her bankai gives. her body is near identicle to Miranda's though one could definitely tell the difference between the two. Yoru represents Miranda's hopes, dreams, imagination, but most of all her deepest, darkest desires. She represents all the varying futures before Miranda. As a result she is scarred from head to toe with grievous wounds that would end most shinigami's "careers". Her arms have been torn from her body, replaced by icy prosthetics of her own creation, but otherwise concieled by the black coat that covers her from head to toe. A steel mask is bolted to her face, covering the jaw that had been severed from her face. An eyepatch with the number eight (the reason has yet to be revealed) covers an eye that had been gauged out.
Inner World(Optional):[/b] Miranda's inner world is a Colosseum located in an arid desert. The stands are always full of cheering "Fans" that represent her many memories, including those long forgotten. The contestants are representations of her emotions and versions of Miranda had she'd taken various paths. It never rains here and the sun never stops shining unless she is on the verge of death.
Zanpakutou Appearances:
+Sealed "Yūgure/Dusk": A simple rusty katana wrapped with old grey leather. The blade's edge and structure is sharper and more sturdy than one would believe. When transitioning to shikai the sword itself fades to a dark color and forms around her right hand and the sheath transforms into a white glove around her left hand.
+Shikai "Towairaito": A Simple pair of leather gloves. One is white, one is black. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary when it comes to these finger-lengthed gloves. When transitioning her black glove spews black reiatsu over her body, forming a black, ghost-like coat. The white of the other glove melts away and falls to the ground and spreads, bringing her area of influence to a certain shape.
+Bankai "Yoru" A long black coat covering miranda from her neck to her feet complete with two black gloves. When it moves it appears to have a smokey, ghost-like texture to it. The coat itself conciels the majority of her body, with its coller popped up, covering her face up to her nose. The second part of her bankai is the colliseum deriving from the white glove she wore during shikai. The Colosseum itself is 1000 ft in diameter and 300 ft tall. The arena ground itself is 400 ft in diameter. The structure is complete from entrances into and out of the structure to the stands in which others may come and spectate (at their own peril)

Overall Ability:
Miranda's Yugure's ability is practically Reiatsu condensation within a given area. The area itself is hemisphere in shape meaning it can be gotten around through the ground, the air, or outside the area of effect (by attracting outside reishi with her own reiatsu.) Within the area of effect, her reiatsu slows the spiritual energies of the air. Allowing her to clump her rieatsu to free-floating reishi and condense them. Of course Miranda is no artist, so any shape created by her power is crude at best. She could create basic Melee weapons, should her hand to hand skill be not enough to fight with, such as a copy of her sword, javelin, or spear.
The area cannot be damaged by enemy reiatsu. For example say one with a reiatsu stat much higher than hers can pretty much nullify the area. If someone is able to manipulate this field of Reishi and has a higher Reiatsu Strength, one may be able to shake off her control. Energy based attacks can distort the field and bend it if her control is weaker than their Reiatsu stat.
Shikai Overall Ability:
When activated, the first thing that happens is the change of Miranda's sword. The old-looking katana transforms into two leather gloves, one black and one white. The two gloves can direct and place her techniques and traps via simple motioning of her (gloved) hands and cause "ice", if she wishes it, to form where ever she touches.
The special ability granted by the gloves is the control of reishi within the area of influence of the gloves themselves. They spread her reiatsu over a 50 foot area (radius) with her blade as the center. Her Reiatsu clumps against Reishi in the air, allowing Miranda to create a variety of attacks, defenses, etc. Such moves are ice-like but only so due to her own reiatsu. (it is not true ice) As such it will not melt like normal ice. A trap type, one such construct she'll make from condensed reiatsu is her Crystalline Javelins (explained in technique section) .
Bankai Overall Ability:
A last resort for Miranda. Upon activation, her gloves spits out black cloud of spiritual energy. The energy moves around her and forms a long black coat around her. The whiteness of the left glove melts away into the ground, spreading across it and shaping her area of influence into a large colloseum. Whats left is a glove as black as the one before. This coat is a representative of her own reiatsu and as such can be manipulated as the reishi around her, though primarily for defensive purposes. (such has hardening to better take coming damage, however this technique will require training and isn't available at the start)
Her Zone however, is more defined than it was during her shikai. Activation of bankai not only forms the special coat around her, but creates a massive colleseum with her at the center. The Colosseum itself is 1000 ft in diameter and 300 ft tall. The arena ground itself is 400 ft in diameter. Unlike before, the Zone does not move around her and fades away (as a sign of consent) when she leaves the stadium. Also unlike before, there is no ceiling to the Zone meaning as long as one is above the stadium, they are within her realm of control. The stadium can keep those within it from the time of activation from leaving and those outside of it from entering her realm of control unless She allows permission from said individual, or said individual has a higher offensive stat than hers. Forcing into her realm will cause her reatsu to weave with the high concentration of reishi with in it to create a wall to repel unwanted penetrations.
Zanpakuto Techniques:
Name: Crystalline Javelin (Shikai)
Cost: 100
Drawback: can only be used/manipulated within her sphere of influence.
Description: Upon use anywhere within Miranda's Zone of influence (or anywhere within her bankai stadium) with her blade as the the hemishere's center, A three foot long ice-like reiatsu stake is formed and can be propelled at anything within her Zone of influence or can be fired outside her Zone with a speed of 600. It cannot be formed outside her Zone of influence. Up to 5 (15 in bankai) can be prepared within her Zone at a time but can remain in place as long as Shikai/Bankai is active or the spikes themselves are destroyed. After fired, if they land in a soft enough target, such as flesh or soil, they will remain until shikai/bankai is deactivated.
Name: Stalagmite Mine (Shikai)
Cost:150 each
Drawback: Cannot be set within one foot of an enemy.
Description:
This trap can be set anywhere within her Zone with simple mental decision. The trap is triggered when one Miranda recognizes as an enemy or opponent steps upon the spot in which the trap was set. Miranda or those she considers her allies will not trip these mines. When triggered, extra large Crystalline Javelin (6 feet long) shot up (speed of activation:1000) from the ground vertically. 5 (15 Bankai) of these can be placed at a given time.
Name: Special Javelin: Splintered Death (Bankai)
Cost: 600 (or 50 each)
Description: This javelin, unlike the the normal ones, can be seen as different the moment it is formed. This one is around 3x wider in diameter. (to around 9 inches)Although can be used on its own, it generally is used in conjunction with normal javelins, hiding inside the pack until it strikes. Unless ones defense is low, it shouldn't quite pierce as well as its normal solid counter-parts. Its shaft is hollow, containing a high concentration of her reiatsu and condensed free floating reishi. When commanded mentally or broken, the javelin explodes in direction in the enemy, sending a small cloud of sharp shards of ice-like reishi/reiatsu crystals. NOTE(speed): 500 (of unexploding javelin) 700 ( of shard cloud)
Name: Cold Shoulder ( Shikai)
Cost: 150 per post this tech is active.
Drawback: Requires Miranda's touch, meaning she has to get in close enough to touch her opponent. It can be risky against most opponants. Targets with superior offensive stats, or higher class, can resist this.
Description: Anything she's able to touch with her gloves is susceptible to this technique. it involves leaving a trace of her reiatsu on an opponant. That reiatsu attracts the reishi in the air around it and spreads, encasing the inflicted person, area or thing in an icy, crystallised reishi casing unless inflicted area is removed (such as discarding a shirt or jacket or dismembering oneself) or the inflicted area is taken outside her area of influence.(requirements of leaving her bankai space still apply) the ice spreads at 10 (15 in bankai) percent per post. If one is completely encased, they have approximately three posts until they suffocate. if they are taken outside her realm of influence within the time alotted, the icy reishi will recede at 5% per post as the no longer bound reishi is returned to the air. Ones with higher class or higher offensive stats can resist.

History:
Miranda Frost's story began with her father. Her father had fought alongside Napoleon during his invasion of Russia in 1812. The army proved incapable of properly handling the Russian Winter so Joseph deserted the first opportune moment he could. After a month journeying east, deeper into the Russian Empire, he had thought the Winter had finally defeated him.
Thankfully his future wife found him and took him in. Although clearly an outsider, the humble village folk offered him a place to stay among them. Joseph gladly accepted the offer and, within another year, married Cassandra. November was the first to be born. Strong and full of energy, he would become the model in which his younger siblings would follow. Jacob and Anna were next, causing mischief and trouble throughout the village but was always soothed by the sounds of local musicians. Lastly came Miranda in 1816. The quiet girl would spend her childhood in the shadows of her older siblings. Their parents had started to become aged, Joseph hitting the age of 60 shortly after Miranda's birth.
Once Miranda had become five, a great battle was fought outside her village. It wasn't one fought with muskets and soldiers, but with what seemed to be magical powers against horrific monsters. Although the children could barely register the battle at all, shortly after they began to notice spirits living among them. They befriended them, helping many of them find their way.
Years pass and Miranda turns fifteen. Her father had grown old, but the stubbornness in his blood keeps him from handing the care of his fields over to November and the others. It had been a hard-days work and their father was still out, looking over areas they may had missed and preparing for the next day. Her mother sent Miranda out to fetch him and try and convince him to come home and rest up but only found his corpse instead.
Above the body was one of those monstrosities she had seen years before, but in more detail. Horrified by what she saw she attempted to run back home and warn the others but the monster stopped her. The monster had thought of wonderful game. Wrapped in its powerful fist, the monster took a stroll over to their home and swatted away its weak roofing. One by one Miranda witnessed her family become eaten alive. The monster decided not to eat her however and instead killed her, squeezing her within its grip until her spine snapped.
She couldn't pass on, not while the monster threatened each and every one of the villagers. Only a few could communicate with her in this state, but even still was unable to convince a single innocent life to leave. This was their home. Their families had lived on this land for generations. Again she was forced to watch every single one of the townspeople become crushed, eaten, and ripped apart. Again she was spared, but only she and an empty town remained. No where to go, she crawled into her neighbor's cellar and mourned. For ten years she sat in that cellar, more than most souls like her could do without hollowfying. This was only due to the small amount of spiritual power she held, and the fact she didn't move a muscle: a dazed sleep of sorts, maybe even coma-like.
She would be woken by a man clad in black, a blood covered sword drawn. Normally that would have been enough to frighten her. However, this wasn't the case. She was too... empty to be afraid and only stared blankly at the man. The man attempted to comfort her and placed the pommel of his blade to her forehead. In a resonating blue light, she was finally able to pass on to a better life
125 years have passed since her initial arrival her in the soul society. Within that time a new family took her in and cared for her. They gave her what she needed to adjust to this new lifestyle here. Within that time she'd grown and regained what little power she had. With this power she planned on repaying who she now as the Gotei 13 from saving her from that cellar. Recently Shino academy had sent her a letter, confirming and welcoming her within its student body. Finally she'd get a chance to make things right.
