Mouth open wide, Raygin raised his hand to cover it as a loud yawn escaped his insides. Resting his hand back on the grass, the young man lazily stared up at the passing clouds high above the Seireitei, his amber eyes not being bothered by the blue skies brightness. Ever since his discharge from the Squad 4s medical facilities, Raygin had been spending every waking moment out doors. To be exposed to the clean, fresh air once again was something he truly missed. Something he didn't get to experience while he was hurt.
Raising his arms up in the air, the young spirit let out a satisfied grunt as he stretched, tossing himself back up onto his feet and patting his butt free of dust. Scratching the back of his head, Raygins eyes danced over the training field he was hanging out in, scanning the environment around him. He noted a few other training Shinigami, actual Shinigami, giving each other distance as they practiced their shortcomings. He saw a few that had paired together, the clanging of their Zanpakuto rang true loud enough for Raygin to hear. One practiced his Kido, Bakudo from Rays observations, on a standard training dummy. Another was vanishing from place to place, no doubt growing his Hoho skills.
As for Ray? He was waiting. Laying on the ground by him were two objects of interest. The first was a blade, though not like those commonly carried by the Shinigami littering the Seireitei. Its blade was broader, and overall shorter. In all honestly it looked more like a large skinning knife, rather than an actual sword. It was a falchion, something that Raygin was actually having trouble getting accustomed to. It didn't work like a katana, something he had sort of become used to, and lacked the "elegance" of the other sword. Ah well, Raygin was better with his fists anyways.
But beside the falchion lay a peculiar object. A boomerang. There...wasn't really anything unique about it. It was a plain and simple wooden boomerang. Bending down, the young soul lifted the object up and turned his attention to the practice object he had set up. A series of candles sitting on a bench. Bouncing the boomerang in his hand, he faced the candles and adopted a series look on his face. Even if he was gone, there was no reason Raygin couldn't keep up with his throwing skills...right?
With a breath, Raygin flicked his wrist and let the boomerang fly. It curved, striking the wick off of the first before simply slamming into the second, ending its flight. Ray sighed, scratching the back of his head in disappointment. Many would consider it incredible that someone had the accuracy with a boomerang to manage to strike off a candles wick, but for Raygin he knew it was a failure for him. He used to be able to strike off as many wicks as he wanted, but...hey he needed to recover from his injuries.
Maybe it was pointless. Raygin had no idea if he was ever going to need his throwing skills again, but he just wasn't able to give it up. There was a chance that Raygins partner would return to him. But right now he needed to get stronger. And in order to do that he was going to need a partner. Sure, there was experience in training all alone, but Raygin knew that he could get much farther if he was able to find someone to train with.
So, in order to find someone to help...Raygin had decided to post little fliers all around the Seireitei. Don't ask how long that took him. But, regardless, Raygins hand written (and hand drawn) fliers asking for someone to train with him was now available to the public. But now the question was was anyone gonna do it? See, there was a slight problem. The problem was it was Raygin.
On one hand, some might not know who Raygin was. Thus they wouldn't be bothered to help out some no name nobody they didn't know. On the other...it was Raygin. Those who knew about him might want to avoid him like the plague. Raygin had a infamous history of being a prankster and an idiot. So, there it was. Raygin wondered if anyone was gonna come, but...hey, regardless the guy was gonna train.
