Plotline: The Emperor is dead. For many, this is still old news but it is still a raw wound for the Vandenreich. The death of his Majesty has created a large amount of dissent amongst the ranks, and many soldiers have begun to desert - fearing that the principles of the organisation have been proven wrong. These are not the problem.

The problem lies with the more "volatile" members of the Vandenreich - the insane, the deranged, the murderous, the anarchical. These people, whose powers were kept in check by his Majesty, have now been let loose on the world. People may have thought it was bad when the Vandenreich was a formal organisation, but what they should really fear are the consequences of removing its leader.

Peter Molyneaux (Sternritter P, The 'Pupeteer') is one such example. Having escaped from his cell, he fled through the gate of the Sun into the world of the Living. Hadrian J. Ryan is now assembling a taskforce, under the orders of his superiors, to 'retrieve' Peter. While Peter is unstable, his power is incredible. He is not to be taken lightly. To further add to the intrigue, it seems he was aided in his escape. His accomplice has not yet been located.

Caesar stood at the top of the column. His arms spread as he stared at those who continued to attend his sermons. He had chosen to continue his sermons, even after their God had chosen to return to the plane of existance that they have not yet been permited to access. Caesar was dressed in his normal attire, draped with the large brown cloth. There was still much that the Vandenreich had to do and Caesar would still preach the words of Der Kaiser until his fated return. Like Jesus in the Christian fate death is never really a permanent thing. While the figure of Christianity returned after three days. Caesar knew that Der Kaiser was stronger and needed more time before he would return. During this time the Vandenreich, especially Caesar to mourn, to find redemption for his faliure and to gain more strength so that when Der Kaiser returns he will once more be worthy of basking in the light of a True God. He stood before rows of chairs. And gazed at the grand ceiling. What else has changed was a mural was created on the ceiling. A mural portraying a bright light ascending into the sky with the words written in light blue.

"And I will ascend into the world I have promised you. For you must return to darkness for only a moment. So that you may learn humility and I to gain more power. For when I return. Hellfire will rain on the False Shepherds. Fissures of endless darkness will swallow Hueco Mundo. And you will ascend to the promised land. But for now. Repent. Repent for your arrogance. Repent for your wickidness. Repent for your Weakness."

"Children of Der Kaiser! Angels of the True Army of God! We have gathered here to remember that now is the time to repent! For it is repentance that we will be able to show our God that we are once again worthy enough to bask in His Glory. Repent for we have sinned without knowing it! But we are not totally lost! Repent! And the light will surely come. Now bow your head in prayer! For I will lead it in voice." with that they bowed their heads and closed their eyes as Caesar followed in suit. His voice echoing into the ears of the sermon goers.

"We Believe in holy servitude, under the watchful eye of Der Kaiser we will rise above the call of his magesty. And spread his words to those that have not been enlightened to his holy words. We believe in one God, the true being whose sheer perfection has given us a life to live again, his message has changed the lives of millions and continues to do so until the end of days. When he has descended from his holy throne and had began the transformation of this flawed world into a world of his image. We believe in the day when the world will be bathed in a fire of holy light. The cleansing of our sins, and the bringing into a world of perfection. We believe in the world to come, when we are free from the imperfection of life. And reborn into the holy world of Der Kaiser. Long Live Der Kaiser, his word is our orders. His breath is our life, his will is our life."

With those words spoken, Caesar waved his hand away as he returned to sit on the marble throne as he overlooked the others going about their daily duties. "I saw You in my dreams. Oh God. I saw You in my dreams again as you promised me You would return. You promised me that Your presense will be felt and that You will make us even Greater than we are right now. There are words of traitors within Your Stern Ritters but we will hunt them down. We will hunt them down and have them crucified. In Your Name. In Your Glory. You will Return." Caesar silently thought to himself as he gazed forward. Down what felt like a near endless hall of the museam that is dedicated to Der Kaiser and all of his Glory. In the Cathedral dedicated to Him.

John typed the last few digits into the computer, and began the Gate of the Sun powering-up sequence. It was a miraculous bit of technology, allowing the Vandenreich to jump to any part of the World of the Living and beyond, all running of his Majesty's power. In fact, the fact that it was still running was a quandary the technical department were still unable to solve... The department clearly wasn't as advanced as the Shinigami's Squad 12 yet, but John had high hopes for them. They were going to spearhead a new era of Quincy development - eventually.

The doors of the room swung open, and Caesar stepped through, back from a sermon. To John, his turnaround had been incredible. Briefly, after the Emperor's death, John had thought Caesar had lost faith - to the point that John felt the need to send a passionate theological argument to him to help renew his belief - but now it was stronger than ever. He had even directed the redecorating of the new Basilica. In John's eyes, the new decorations were somewhat gaudy, but he wasn't going to tell Caesar that.

"Good evening, milord." John bowed to Caesar respectfully. Although they were both Sternritter, they were worlds apart in terms of power. Caesar was a Vandenreich General, the closest rank possible to his Majesty. Although John's rank as Sternritter H afforded him a more intimate with the Emperor than most, it was nothing compared to the bond that existed between Him and Caesar. "I've left your file on the table over there. We're just waiting on Lieutenant Harper and..."

"Myself!"

The doors to the hall were flung open, and in the opening stood a man who barely looked human. His arms and legs were long and ungainly, his hands appeared far too big to be human. But what accentuated this man's strangeness was his outfit. He was dressed like a nightmarish clown, right down to his pointy shoes and his harlequin hat. What made him truly terrifying, however, was the mask he wore. It tapered to vicious points both at the chin and the forehead, and bore a crooked smile. One eye was curved in an arc, while the other slanted sharply. It was hard to tell if the mask's smile was supposed to be good-natured or malicious. He bowed, but it was more of a mockery than a salutation.

"Jacques Jemiel, Stern-rrrrr-itter J, and Captain Supe-rrrrr-visor of the Vandenreich at your service!"

He rolled his 'r's selectively, as if only to make himself seem even more ridiculous. As he drew himself up from his bow, various bells jangled on his ridiculous costume. He stood nearly 8 feet in height, towering over both John and Caesar. John, who was not short himself, felt as though he was trapped between two giants. What would be more disconcerting for everyone there, however, was that Jacques had no detectable Spiritual Pressure. That could only mean that he was either on par with Caesar or higher; no one could ascend the ranks of the Vandenreich without Reiatsu. He was deliberately concealing his power.

"Sir, if you would -" John was however, cut off by Jacques himself. "...and imagine my surprise when he said 'yes'! I can tell you, I was like: "Oh, I could kill that man!" ...so I did." John was slightly taken aback. Jacques had dialled out someone on his phone, and was calling them in a middle of a mission briefing, in front of Caesar?! He must have had a death wish. Caesar didn't usually take so well to such frivolity.

Not willing to interrupt Jacques, John turned to Caesar. "Milord, there's some vanilla ice cream in the fridge if you'd care for some while we wait." But at that moment, Vannan arrived. The doors had barely swung shut when John cleared his throat, indicating to the group that he was about to begin. However, Jacques only held up a finger at him, and in a ridiculous stage whisper, said: "One minute, please, John my dear."[/color]

It was then that John realised that this was a simple ploy to undermine his authority at this mission. Jacques looked like he just joked around, but John knew from his experience that his japes were more often designed to abuse than amuse. Not content to give into the clown, John began the mission briefing.

"The target is Peter Molyneaux, former Sternritter and Captain Supervisor of the Vandenreich. His Schrift is 'P', the Puppeteer. Very few have witnessed his power in battle, so I'm afraid I have little to no information for you regarding his powers. Although he was given such a prestigious rank by his Majesty, do not take this as a sign of competence. Many of the more volatile members of the Vandenreich were given such honours as a form of appeasement, so that his Majesty could keep their powers in check..."

Perhaps... Could Jacques belong to that group too...?"

John dismissed the thought with a shake of his head. "That aside, our research department has located him in South-West Russia, hiding just beyond the borders of a small town. We're sending you to this town in order to gather information, before heading out to confront Peter himself. Our sources have confirmed a large Fullbringer presence in the town, and we guess that Xcution also have a team tracking Peter. If possible, we would like you to bring him back alive: chances are that he has no idea what he's doing, and we may need his power in the future - his Majesty certainly values it.

To aid you in your mission, we have developed an item which should allow you to subdue Peter. I am entrusting this item to Caesar, as his combat prowess and experience will prove invaluable when deciding when and how to use the item. The description of the item is attached to it." John turned to Caesar, addressing him sincerely. "Please, milord, use it wisely. Peter is a loyal servant of his Majesty, he does not deserve to die." From all the reports John had read, Peter appeared to have the emotional and mental development of a five year old - and this insanely powerful five year-old had just had the most important person in his life taken from him.

John turned his attention back to the group. "But this is a battle on two fronts. Peter was not capable of escaping by himself, so we suspect that he had assistance. Someone working within the Vandenreich released him and let him loose. While you pursue Peter, I will remain here and investigate. I wish you the best of luck, and may the Emperor's blessing go with you."

John stepped aside, and gestured at the gate, which was now ready. The three would step onto the platform and be whisked away by the shadows to their destination.

The town looked like a war zone. There were several tall apartment blocks, but the group wouldn't be able to see any that were undamaged. The streets were littered with debris, and Caesar would be able to hear that, somewhere in the town, there were still some fires burning. By all accounts, there were probably too late, it seemed as though Peter had done his damage.

"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm aaaaaaaaaaallllllllll tuckered out." Jacques energetic down didn't make him seem tired in the slightest. "You know, I think I'll find someplace nice to nap for a while. Let me know how you get on! Catch you laterrrrrrrrr!" And with a flash, Jacques was gone. His speed was incredible. This just left Vannan and Caesar together to explore the town.

There wasn't a soul to be seen, spiritual being or otherwise. There was definitely no sign of Xcution, as John had mentioned. It seemed as though Caesar and Vannan would first have to scour the environment for clues, before they could locate Peter and Jacques.

The sense of unity from the Vandenreich was never more present than in one of the sermons done by Caesar. No matter what anyone thought of the old quincy they had to respect the way he could convey the feeling of belonging with just a few words. The man was a great speaker, the man could easily convince anyone to join, well almost anyone. Those that have a weak mental fortitude would easily be swayed by his words, Vannan wasn't one of those, however he did enjoy hearing the words woven by Caesar.

Vannan sat in the back and watched silently as Caesar spoke, their god had been killed, Der Kaiser was dead yet the faith they all had was stronger than ever. Before he would of hated himself for believing that this was a good thing, but now he smiled and even accepted this as a good thing. When the Vandenreich was strong it also meant that he was strong and made it easier for him to further his own personal goals.

As Caesar finished his glorious speech Vannan watched and observed the man. He had no idea what could be going through the man's mind after the loss of their god, he thought that it would of destroyed Caesar, yet to him it seemed as if the ritter's faith never wavered, instead he seemed more inspired than before. To have such hope in the face of such a great loss and sorrow, Vannan wanted to be that strong. He knew far too well how he reacted when he faced something similar to what Caesar must of felt.

Vannan wanted to ask Caesar so many questions about how he kept strong in the face of such tragedy, however John had requested him for a mission, not to disapoint one of the very few people he actually liked in the Vandenreich he rose from the pews silently blending into the crowed of quincies leaving the cathedral. Vannan had prepared himself before the sermon so he headed towards John's office.

He opened the door silently to see not only John there, but Caesar and another Vandenreich member as well. One who seemed to care only about talking on his cellphone and not paying attention to John or Caesar, while he was guilty of wanted to do the same thing, he wasn't mad enough to try it right in front of Caesar, John....maybe, but not Caesar. Eventually John was able to give out the mission and the target, a former sternritter who had gone AWOL. This wasn't something that was shocking, but none the less it was a bit disheartening to hear that an actual ritter had betrayed them. Vannan kept to himself as they walked through the gate and into their destination.

It was desolate, the town was utterly destroyed. Only a few buildings looked like they could survive being hit by a breeze. The entire area looked like a picture from world war two showing the towns that were raided by the nazis. Before he could fully take in the devastation Jacques ran off wanting to take a nap. I swear that man is going to be killed by Caesar by the end of this.

“Lord Caesar, your sermon before was magnificent, for now I believe it's best to separate to look for Peter. There is a higher chance of finding the man faster that way. I will take west side of the town scanning for any survivors or traces of Peter. If I find anything I will fire out an arrow into the air to alert you.” Vannan waited to hear what Caesar would say. While he waited he drew in reiatsu from the area around him. If they really were going up against a ritter than he would need to stock up as much reiatsu as possible to better even out the odds.

If Caesar agreed Vannan would land on the streets and slowly walk towards the west, using air ground to travel over the larger debris looking for signs of life, while staying as silent as possible. This was a battleground, Vannan couldn't aford to be spotted before he spotted someone else so he traveled along side the shadows blending into them. Waiting to see if he spotted something to make note of.

This is a cloak created by the infamous Mr. Hat & Clogs and upgraded by the famous Kazura Uzaki designed to enhance the natural stealth capabilities of those with Reiatsu. It was inspired by the Lothlorien Cloaks from Lord of the Rings. Basically, it creates a field of Reiatsu around the user, masking them from site by blending them into the background, while simultaneously masking their spiritual pressure further. With added Reiatsu storage, channeling, and nullifying abilities, it goes beyond the abilities of the original cloak. With 1 point in Stealth, someone would need 200 in Senses or Energy Sensory to detect their presence. Each point in Stealth beyond the first adds 50 to the requirements.

It can only be used for 10 posts total in a thread, before becoming a normal cloak for the duration of the thread. To use, the user must give up 100 reaitsu for each post, and draw the cloak around them. Techniques up to Class 5 can be used while the cloak is being used, but Releases and techniques of Class 4 or higher cannot escape detection. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of the network of reiatsu storage and transfer, taking a direct physical blow to the cloak causes it to cease functioning at peak nature. The user will be able to be sensed with a flat 200 Senses or Energy Sensory, regardless of level of Stealth and their techniques. Obviously, something that exits the cloak such as a Quincy's arrow will no longer be hidden.
