Name: Arc 3: Canon Z-2: Traitors Among Us
Participants: 3 RPCs, Human World Dwellers Only. Classes 4-2 recommended. No reservations.
Location: Unknown
Difficulty Level: Medium-Hard
Setting: DE
Plotline:
While in Soul Society, the threat of rebellion runs rampant like a virus spreading among its inhabitants, something strange is happening in the World of the Living. Political leaders across the world are simply disappearing without a trace, only to reappear less than a week later. They show no memory of their disappearance, and indeed insist no such thing happened. But something has changed, something alarming. Each of the individuals who have disappeared has taken on a new creed. Whether or not they were spiritually aware before, they all now have knowledge of the spiritual world, and the Spirit King at the head of it. While their normal daily activities do not change, on the side many of them are leading rallies against the Spirit King, claiming that He had usurped the throne of an unknown individual known as the Martyr. While this activity is strictly under the radar, several organizations have caught wind of it, and are becoming alarmed at the frenzy that it is creating. Ordinary citizens by day may become vicious protesters in private. Normally the issue would be moot; what can normal people do against the lord of the spiritual cycle?
But then there's more to it. These organizations are becoming wide-spread, much like a cult. Thousands have already joined, and it seems like it may be tens of thousands soon enough. This odd fanaticism has been spreading like wildfire, and it has no specific demographic, affecting men and women of all ages and origins. There's no rhyme or reason to it, just that it is spreading at an alarmingly fast rate. While it seems like a harmless organization, something about it is strange, and thus, individuals are sent in or choose to go of their own will to investigate these leaders and what caused them to change. However, the story does not stop there.
These agents, sent out, all began to converge on the same point: each of these men who had “disappeared” had been abducted, and often, their immediate subordinates were behind them. Each subordinate responsible bore a unique tattoo, one of an upside-down cross entwined in thorns. This tattoo is a strong link to whatever may be behind these changes, and that is what the individuals aim to look further into. However, as they started drawing close to their target, one by one the searchers disappeared, captured in a number of ways. But one thing is the same about each disappearance; these individuals were heavily undercover, and there were few that would know of their actions. Yet each disappearance was precisely and meticulously planned, suggesting a traitor. You may not know who, but there is someone around you who betrayed you, and this has led to your capture.
Now, you awaken in a strange metal room, your head fuzzy and your body heavy, a single metal band on your wrist. All you know now is that you must escape by any means possible. Maybe you'll find your traitor along the way. Maybe you'll discover the answer you were searching for. But one thing is for certain: you must escape, or you will certainly die.

Estimated Enemy Strength: Class 4-1
Estimated Time Until Completion: 5-6 Pages
Starts: After the GM Post
Special Conditions:
- Immediately upon starting the thread, all participants wake up with a metal wristband attached around their left wrist. It looks like nothing more than a watch, but it has no clasps to hold it in place, the band completely solid and without breaks. This cannot be removed. Additionally, all stats are reduced to 50 (or lower, if they are below that), Releases cannot be used, and techniques cannot be used. Items also cannot be used. Basically, think average as average gets, at least at the start.
- Participants are given no more than a week between individual posts; if it is your turn in the turn order and it has been at least one week since the last post, then you will be given a strike. Three strikes, and you are removed from the canon.
