Need help in building my char...

Hi. I am new to this site and the system is much more complex from anything I've rp-ed with, so I thought of asking for help in building my char in a way that it will be acceptable on the site and it will please me too. The main idea is that I want to make an akki with the ability to manipulate the soul( his own reiatsu and the reiatsu around him, sometimes even other's reiatsu). But I got stuck at the class...I want him to be a Soul Specialist Version 1 but a bit edited. Edited in the sense that my char will gain his first real offensive ability in his 3rd release, 'till then having only support, defensive and a counter-attack. I want him to still be weak for the first 2 stages(only ability that would be on an ok power level being his release abilities) And the only berserk power I want it to be at the 4th stage where he goes full offensive, the 3rd stage still being limited in power.


So in conclusion...I don't want to release the power limiter at once but rather I want my char to gradually regain his power, going all out only in his final stage. I know that it might be a lot of work to do and if we are to do it here, it would be slow paced so I thought about talking on skype. Whoever wants to help me, post here so that the other people know and I will send a PM with my skype ID so we can talk live and work this out. My timezone is +2 GMT and I can talk almost the entire day.

Hello! I'm on my phone so my input may not be as thorough as I'd like, but I can help a little bit! For starters, you can find me on the cbox as ZKhalifornia if you want to talk and seek any more help.

Fist of all, Akki are considered one of the "harder" races to approve a character through because the mods are more strict about quality level of applications as well as balance of powers and such. Of course, if you've got your mind set on an Akki, I won't discourage you. The community will help as much as possible to help you out and mods will give a hand as well, surely. However, if you feel like you don't quiet grasp the system yet, it may be better to learn the ropes with another character: it's completely up to you.

As for the strange Soul Specialist you'd like, to be honest, it doesn't work that way. If anything, the Soul Specialist you described would be weaker than the current type if I understood correctly. You're best off taking advantage of the stat boosts early in release.
