Vannan was in the human world, more specifically he was currently sneaking into the office of one Kazura Uzaki during the middle of the day. Vannan had heard that this fullbringer was very good at making spiritual items, something that he had an interest in, or more exactly he had an interest in upgrading the cloak he had that made him untraceable to those with low senses and ES. Vannan waited till someone left the office before sneaking in standing on the air ground above the surface of the floor. Vannan was impossible to sense to someone who didn't have high senses.

As silent as he could he slowly walked towards Kazura. Taking each step carefully so he wouldn't make a noise as he walked. The man was sitting down at his table, Vannan didn't know what to expect, but he was going to make the man an offer that he couldn't refuse. As he eventually reached Karuzra he leaned over Kazura to see what the man was working on. Vannan didn't know what it was. However he did decide to speak in a serious tone. "My that looks like it's important. Is it?" Kazura would hear Vannan's voice but not know where it came from.

Vannan quickly dashed away and to the left using Movement, hoping to avoid any kind of retaliation before he could speak again. "Hey, hey, hey calm down. I'm not here to start a fight or anything I actually came here to ask for some help and maybe I can help you." Vannan pulled off the cloak and showed himself to Kazura. He wasn't wearing his Vandenreich uniform, no instead he had on normal clothing. "I hear you're pretty good at making things, things that other races like us can use. I was wondering if you could upgrade my stealth cloak? I mean I would love to be able to use my bow levels while being stealth like I was before or even make it harder to sense me. Heck if you could do both that would be awesome."

Vannan had on his smile as he held out the cloak to Kazura. "I know that something like that wouldn't be free. I mean I have some Ryo to spare, but maybe you might be more interested in learning a thing or two?" Vannan placed the cloak on Kazura's desk and started to walk towards one of the office walls before using Hirenyaku Schwerkraft to walk right up the walls and end up on the ceiling of the office with gravity acting as if it was normal for him. "I am a quincy, you could ask me a few things as well."

Item Name: Stealth Cloak

Item Type: Clothing

Item Description: This is a cloak created by the infamous Mr. Hat & Clogs, designed to enhance the natural stealth capabilities of those with reaitsu. It was inspired by the Lothlorien Cloaks from Lord of the Rings. Basically, it creates a field of reaitsu around the user, masking them from site by blending them into the background, while simultaneously masking their spiritual pressure further. With 1 point in Stealth, someone would need 200 in Senses or Energy Sensory to detect their presence. Each point in Stealth adds 100 to the requirements. With a three in stealth, it also completely suppresses all noise made from the user.

It can only be used for 5 posts total in a thread, before becoming a normal cloak for the duration of the thread. To use, the user must give up 50 reaitsu for each post, and draw the cloak around them. Techniques can be used while the cloak is being used, but no releases!

[Kazura Uzaki]

Kazura was unfortunately needing to get very used to people randomly showing up in his office, invisible or hidden, and then talking to him from the shadows or leaving notes on his desk for him to find. It wasn't the first time that someone had done something like this, it was actually the fourth. Kazuko, Taien, Katrina. All of them had just shown up and then asked him for things, or given him things to improve, or simply talked and sparred with him. So he wasn't surprised when Vannan snuck into his office with a request to improve something. He was pleased that his skill as a craftsman for Spiritual things had extended to people whom he had never met before, but that was not something that needed thought about just yet.

First, he had a client in his office. A client who was very intent on showing off. Walking on walls, standing on the ceiling. His request was fairly simple, though. Take this cloak, and make it better at what it does. Kazura gathered the cloak about himself, noticing that it was powered by his own reiatsu, taking that and amplifying it into a field that camouflaged himself. He could only assume that this field also suppressed his reiatsu signature, based off the request from Vannan to make it work with his "bow levels". So, with a little understanding of the job and the item, Kazura asked simple questions to start off the business. "I don't do anything for people who haven't even told me their name yet. What is yours? And I assume that as a Quincy, the race of Archers, your "bow levels" are similar to a Fullbring in that it takes a bit of effort to release? That's a pretty tall order, and as I don't require or want any information about your race, I'll be asking for cash payments only."

Vannan smiled and rubbed the back of his head as he listened to Kazura speak. The fullbringer was right about a few things however he was quite upset that he couldn't get away with paying less for the improvements to his coat, but that was to be expected. “Yea, heh sorry about that. My name is Vannan, Vannan Harper.” Vannan dispelled the gravity bending technique he had and fell back down to the ground landing on his feet. Extending out his hand to Kazura to shake it. “Yes I am a quincy, but it's not like I’m proud of it.”

Vannan would wait to see if Kazura would shake his hand or not before speaking again. “Ehhh I don't know that much about fullbringers, but I don't think that your power is like my race's. I can gladly show you what I mean if it would help, but before that I would like to know how much this would cost. I'm not made of cash, so if it's too much I can't pay, but I'm sure there is some other way I can pay it off.” Vannan took out his sunglases and put them on as he listened for what Kazura would say to him.

"If you're not proud of what you are, then who does that really make you?"

Kazura accepted the handshake, but it was not a warm handshake made between friends, but rather a cold and professional motion. The Fullbringer was incredibly proud of who and what he was to the point that his Fullbring, a manifestation of one's Pride, was in part based off his pride for Humanity. Vannan was turning out to be an interesting client, one who could potentially be good for research due to his willingness to give up information, but he had started off on the wrong foot with Kazura. There was plenty of time for repairing the damage done, but sneaking up on the inventor, rushing into asking for work done without an appointment or an introduction, and then stating that he had no pride in who he was had made the CEO unsure about his character, if he was worth working with in the future.

Continuing on from the rough start, the Fullbringer drew the cloak around himself and realized that it needed reiatsu to start up its effect. He let it draw enough from him and he noticed the field of reiatsu that suddenly made himself invisible. In the reflection of the glass of the office it was apparent that he couldn't be seen at all. It didn't take too much reiatsu to create this field, so Kazura was pretty sure that he knew how to upgrade the cloak to the specifications that Vannan wanted. He removed it from around his body, and while examining it further noticed that the field was slightly weaker now than it had been when Vannan had set it on the desk. This tipped Kazura off to the fact that it had only so much charge before it would run out of stealth abilities.

"I'll need some time to work on this, but the estimated cost will be in between 100 and 150 grand. Do you have a cellphone or an email? I'll send for you when the work is done."

Vannan smiled as Kazura accepted the handshake while he thought for a moment about what to say to Kazura for his answer about who he is. Vannan knew who he was and he didn't like it at all. He was a solider, a man made to kill others for a leader he didn't believe in even now he was just getting another tool to make him a better killer, something that in the past he would of never thought about doing. Kazura's question did make him think as to what he should tell the fullbringer that's when his phone buzzed with the ring tone set for his sister and then he knew who he was.

“Kazura, I'm just an older brother keeping his little sister safe. Nothing more, nothing less.”

Vannan stepped back as he watched Kazura mess around with the cloak activating it vanishing from his eyes for a moment and then reappearing before him. Vannan looked at the cloak knowing that using it anymore so soon would cause it to need to recharge. The price for the modifications was steep but he didn't care if Kazura could deliver what Vannan was asking for it would be fine by him. Vannan grabbed a pen off of Kazura's desk and a paper to scribble down his number for the fullbringer. “Oh I did think of one other thing if at all possible see if you could make the stealth last longer as well. I hope to hear from you soon Kazura.” Vannan turned away after placing the paper with his number on the cloak and walked out of the man's office.

Kazura softened a little when he heard who Vannan said he was. Just a little, though. As an only child, Kazura couldn't understand what it felt like to be a protective big brother, or to have one. So he simply acknowledged the fact that this Quincy worked for family and moved on. The client wrote down his number and left, which left the inventor to work on his project in peace and with his work secrets fully intact. While not paranoid about rival companies trying to steal his secrets, since no Earth companies could hope to match Spiritual Technology, he still wanted his work to remain a mystery to the point where people couldn't create it without him.

He started work on the cloak by pulling out a scalpel and set of scissors, carefully cutting at the seams to open up the edges of the material. The layers of the reiatsu infused material parted easily, and Kazura used this opportunity to test a new technological component that he had come up with to add to this item. In between the layers of the cloak he wove glass fibers. Well, not exactly glass in the common silica sense. The material that Kazura wove into the cloak was a specialized substance that could conduct and hold reiatsu better than anything Kazura had come across yet. This fiber optic inspired conduit would be the core component of upgrading the stealth cloak.

Weaving this glass through the cloak would give the item more of an ability to use and store reiatsu. While using the stealth features would have a higher cost, and the durability of the cloak was something that had to be closely monitored now when it didn't have to before, the Fullbringer was simply boosting the power of the reiatsu field to result in a longer duration. With more energy granted to the fabric, it wouldn't burn out as quickly. However, that wasn't the only feature that Kazura needed to give to this upgrade. The hard, and expensive feature was going to be giving releases stealth capabilities.

The inventor knew that the only way to do this was going to be Seki Seki. He used it a lot and he was funding sooo much black market activity, which probably hurt a lot of addicts, especially when this stuff was used as a drug, but he really had no other option. It was the kind of component that really couldn't be compared to anything he had access to. Nothing was as good as this material when it came to reiatsu nullification. Taking the ground up Sekki sekki and gluing it into plates, the man set those up the middle of the cloak and in the shoulders. These plates would reduce the wearer's overall reiatsu strength, but if that's what it took to get stealth when you were released... Vannan would have to take it or leave it.

It was inspired by the Lothlorien Cloaks from Lord of the Rings. Basically, it creates a field of reaitsu around the user, masking them from site by blending them into the background, while simultaneously masking their spiritual pressure further. With added reiatsu storage, channeling, and nullifying abilities, it goes beyond the abilities of the original cloak. With 1 point in Stealth, someone would need 200 in Senses or Energy Sensory to detect their presence. Each point in Stealth adds 150 to the requirements. With a three in stealth, it also completely suppresses all noise made from the user.

It can only be used for 10 posts total in a thread, before becoming a normal cloak for the duration of the thread. To use, the user must give up 150 reaitsu for each post, and draw the cloak around them. Techniques can be used while the cloak is being used, and now even releases can be used. However, while being released, one must give up 300 reiatsu and it triples the wear on the cloak. 1 post of being released uses up 3 posts of total stealth in a thread. Unfortunately, due to the delicate nature of the network of reiatsu storage and transfer, taking a direct physical blow to the cloak causes it to cease functioning at peak nature. The user will be able to be sensed with a flat 200 Senses or Energy Sensory, regardless of level of Stealth and their techniques/releases will not be hidden. Obviously, something that exits the cloak such as a Quincy's arrow or a Zanpakutou release that leaves the safety of the stealth field will no longer be hidden.

Vannan felt the buzz of his phone as he was taking a bite out of a burger. Vannan didn't expect for Kazura to be done so fast with the work. He was shocked to say the least, then again he had to test cloak to make sure it really was working the way he wanted it to, but even if Kazura was done, he had just sat down to eat lunch and he wasn't in a big rush to get his cloak. Hey thanks I didn't think you would be done so fast, I won't be able to come right away, but give me an hour or two and I'll be there thanks again.

About an hour later Vannan walked into the office of Kazura, after he was buzzed in by his assistant. Vannan had a smile on his face as he carried in two milkshakes. “Well Kazura I can't wait to see my new cloak.” Vannan saw the cloak folded up on Kazura's desk. Stepping over to it he placed down one of the milkshakes on an empty spot next to his coat before picking the coat up.

The first thing he noticed was the weight of the coat, while not heavy there was a slight increase in the weight of the coat. He had an idea that maybe there would be some changes in the weight, but not to this degree. After he put it on he could feel some plates in the cloak that weren't there before. “Huh...so this is stronger now?” Vannan questioned the improvements, as he had no way of testing them right now, all he had was the word of Kazura.

“Oh I got you that shake.” Vannan took a sip out of the one he still had in his hand. “Right anyway what do I owe you?” Vannan looked right into Kazura's eyes. He still had a smile on his face, however his eyes held a sense of seriousness. Whatever Kazura said Vannan would pay and then take his leave.

Kazura's client walked in, and seemed unimpressed with what he had been given, so it was up to the inventor to "pitch" the upgrades. "Quite stronger. Not only will the Super Stealth Cloak keep you hidden better than your former model by making it harder for people to sense you, it will absorb a lot of the energy that you give off while released. As long as you stay under the cloak, you'll be provided similar stealth as you were when you were sealed. Not to mention, I've managed to double the amount of time that the cloak will work. And all that you owe is a measly 150 grand for all of those upgrades. But, before you go, we do have to talk about copyright. Basically, what I design for my clients belongs to them, unless they release the designs to me. If they release their rights, I sell them in my store for those who can afford them. If not, then this product will never be created again in its current form for anyone but you. Either way is fine with me, though, as a businessman, you can imagine why I would like the rights to the design."

Vannan paused before sipping on the milkshake more. "Hmmmm I mean I can understand as to why you would want to sell them to other people,but..... you have to understand I don't want to run into the situation where someone uses my own item against me. If there was some way you could make it so that I could disable other super stealth cloaks you made I would be fine with it. I'd also like a list of people who buy them, just in case they ever come after me. So yea if you can make a device that I could use to shut down other super stealth cloaks I would be totally fine with that."

Kazura could understand Vannan's hesitation. He wanted security, to know that his own ideas for upgrades to the item couldn't be turned against him and he find himself on the end of someone releasing stealthily behind him and stabbing him in the back. Or something. It made sense, and the fullbringer could respect that. He also knew his upgrades well, especially the glaring weakness that they had, the sensitive glass network. If that was broken, the whole item stopped being useful. So he pulled out some old models to his gauntlets and prepared to rework them into something for Vannan only that could stop any Super Stealth Cloaks.

Combining his MK II gauntlets and air cannon, the man inserted holes into the fingers of the glove. All he needed to do was reroute the air to not only shoot out of the palm but out of the holes too. This would give it a 180 degree range of fire, so when both gloves were held out to both sides, a full 360 degree pulse of air could be shot out. With a little fine tuning that took mere moments, the air pulse was set to have a frequency and intensity that was extremely effective at breaking glas. This air could push things back, break windows, etc., but it would definitely knock out any Super Stealth Cloak that was away from Vannan. His own Cloak would be safe, but no others in a short radius around him would be.

"Now you don't have to just use this for the cloak shut down, it can be used to break in to places as well, but this pulse should do the trick. It has a short recharge, but not terribly long if you don't spam it. So we have a deal then? I don't sell or remake this "override" ever again, but in exchange I can sell the cloaks?"

Vannan looked at what Kazura had made, it was an odd set of gauntlets that seemed to have some type of air canon attached to them. It looked like the override to his stealth cloak was to take it out. Sure it was a simple way of taking care of close range stealth, but long range was still an issue. For now it seemed like this was the best that would be available to him, so he wasn't going to complain if worse came to worse he could always ask Kazura to upgrade these gauntlets as well later on.

“Ehh they're not really my style, but I guess they'll work. So yea you can sell the cloak, no chance of me seeing some kickbacks for the idea huh?” Vannan said the last part with a joking tone in his voice along side small chuckle. Vannan extended his hand once more to the fullbringer with a genuine smile across his face. “It was a pleasure doing business with you Kazura, I hope to see you soon, when I get more cash.”

Item Name: Vannan's Unique Gauntlets
Item Type: Weapon/Defense
Item Description: This pair of guantlets has had the air cannon locked into the frame and rerouted for a different effect rather than a straight shot. It is capable of firing through the air flaps and through the holes in the fingers to produce a 180 degree pulse that extends 10 meters. While it has 150 strength for purpose of pushing back objects and people, the frequency is fine tuned to be perfect for breaking natural glass. Any glass caught in the blast will shatter immediately and violently. It is capable of holding six portions of air, and needs 3 of them per pulse. It intakes air at a rate of 1 portion per post.
