Conditions:
1. You don't have any skills or stats, you're just a human.
2. You have a stick
4. Tsubaki (Rudy) first / Your setting is an open field, nothing around you.
5. Attack first, don't intro (preferable highly)
6. You will only go 3 rounds - Regardless of outcome.
Given that there was only about fifteen feet of distance between her and her foe, the best choice of action was obvious. Tsubaki raised her stick in front of her, two hands holding the base of it, as if it was a sword, and shifted towards her foe, left shoulder slightly forward, keeping him in her sights. The way she was shifting, she would cover ground relatively quickly, but it wasn't as risky as a head on sprint, since she could back out or stop at anytime.
Once she got close to her foe, say two or three feet away, she'd suddenly duck to the right, shifting her focus and center of gravity, and go for a leg sweep with the stick, lowering it and lashing out at her opponent's shins with the momentum that she had. With luck, it'd knock her foe over. But the point wasn't to end the fight, it was to start it. Tsubaki was content to counter her heart out, but she knew that it was important to start a battle rather than just wait.
