I'm sad and lonely.
I got lost in this dungeon!
Where am I? Help!
So, recently, in my regular search of the interwebs, I stumbled across an MMO.
It was FFXI (yes, the original one), and I went through all the motions to play it. It's actually pretty interesting and all that, and some of its features are a bit more innovative than your mmos today (opening doors the bess). Oh, and this server has increased EXP rates and other ways to make it easier and less annoyingly grind heavy, so there's that.
It's real FF like if you've never heard/seen it, with classic jobs and stuff, and the system in which you're able to change jobs and not be stuck with one path was cool, too; if you've ever played, like, final fantasy tactics or some of the other turn based games, you'd know all about how customization this can get. Theoretically.
Tested the server, no malware. It's all pretty legit, and still receives pretty regular updates. So that's nice.
The only real drawback here is the fact that, despite all this, it's REALLY hard to find people when you start out, because most of them are already in higher level areas. Hence the title.
I was wondering if anyone was interested, so I can be less sad.
